What I loved about this shop is that the visuals were not intimidating, nor were the bottles so familiar to look common. The profile was classy and Charlotte was friendly and brought the neighborhood welcome to me. I will definitely return.

I was excited at first to have a new liquor store with great selections. Been going there since they opened. I’ve had great experience with the staff most of the time especially when they opened. I’m not a connoisseur of any kind so it was helpful before when I ask the staff for help. Lately, a handful of occasion, I felt dismissed. One occasion I asked if they have a particular wine on the person on the desk, what I got a quick “no” and went back to his computer. I tried to compose myself and ask if they carry maybe another kind that was similar and what I got was what I would assume a lecture. I bought a liquor and just picked a random wine and asked if it was good and another, what I assume was a lecture was given. I’m all up for supporting local business especially if I’ve been a customer for quite sometime and I recommend the store but honestly, it left a bad Impression. I’m somewhat disappointed. I miss the friendlier customer service I had before.

Excellent, well curated selection of wine and spirits. I love their unique spirits selection and looking at the cool label designs. The space itself is set up with a unique back area where you can taste available products. Miss the tastings! What makes this store experience special, is the friendly, knowledgeable staff, who keep things lighthearted and fun. Highly recommend!

Was passing by after the gym and went in to ask a alcohol related question with my husband and as soon as we went in to ask the question, we were not even acknowledged. My husband repeated himself several times and a women with short blonde hair & glasses looked my husband in his face and still did not acknowledge him nor his question. I can only assume from the clear observation that we were the only African American customers in the store that this was clear racism on their part. Truly disappointed. TREAT POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS BETTER. I will not return and save yourself the trip if you want to actually be treated like a human being.

Ive been looking to upgrade from randomly picking inexpensive wines at Trader Joes, and this spot fit the bill. Staff are helpful but not pushy, and Ive loved every wine theyve recommended. Lots of fun tasting events, too.

Tasted a few different wines to get our new fridge stocked, theres a nice room in back for that. Was able to mix and match types of wine and price ranges. Plus they delivered a whole case to our 4th floor walk up.

Fantastic selection coupled with a friendly, knowledgable, staff that will let you sample and figure out your desired libation for the night. This is all complimented by a wonderful ambience due to appropriate lighting and space. A must visit for East Village locals - as they might not have your favorite wine or spirit, but they will direct you towards something just as good or better. Also, just let my boyfriend in at 9:59 to grab a bottle of wine - unparalleled service!
