Lovely personalized service here. I’ve been popping around for many years to get my favorite red wines. It’s well stocked and I find that sometimes their prices are a dollar or more cheaper than other places. Very friendly service and the staff have great product knowledge. David and his wife are extremely knowledgeable, and if you give them a budget up front they will never steer you wrong. They have one of the better liquor selections in the area, and arent too expensive. Frequent tastings in the afternoons. No complaints.

The place is quaint but small and had a limited selection of bourbon which I was in the market for. The prices were a little higher than Im used to, but hey, this is midtown manhattan you have to pay the high rent. They have a large selection of wine however. So I guess theres something for almost everyone.

Overpriced wine, poor selection, and the staff was completely useless when I asked for help selecting a wine. Very disappointing experience.

Visiting from out of country. Walked into the store as nearest from my hotel. Got 2 wines for a special dinner. Both excellent. Went back and bought 3 more. Highly recommended.

I visited today. Overpriced, decided not to make a purchase. I realize rent in NYC is high, but that doesnt fully account for why some establishments charge twice what their neighbors do.

Bought an expensive 2004 Tempranillo that was corked, complete vinegar, and they refused to refund me. Convenience was the only reason I went to this store as they are not knowledgeable, but no longer...

I called to place an order for local delivery. Balviene 12 year scotch. It normally runs around $60 but they charge $90! They were very helpful on the phone and would delivery locally, but check prices before you order.

Coming from California, going to liquor stores that are specifically just for liquor is a weird concept. But this place is great.
