This place is open later than any other liquor store in the area. Its a small, beautiful space which gives it an expensive boutique feel, but the store clerk didnt show me any sign of snootiness when I said I usually get cheap Grüner. He offered a good $20 bottle. Awesome!!Side note: as many of us know, this neighborhood has become a lot less safe, make of that what you will. This puts stores like this at risk for random acts of violence, so there is a limit to how many people can be here at a time to protect the person working here. Be supportive! It makes me so sad to hear that all kinds of people who work alone, or during later hours feel unsafe, and all have a horror story. Be appreciative that stores like this are able to stay open despite the risk employees face so we can get our booze! 🥂

I live in upstate new York and ordered a rare tequila. Order from here and not Caskers if you live anywhere in new York. I ordered it at 5pm July 8th and it came noon the next day. Very professional

Great selection - at all price levels. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ive been going here since it first opened.One thing I love is that when I dont want help, they let me explore in peace! When I do want help, boom - they can answer or get me someone who can.And they have a website where you can order for delivery - shouldnt need to be called out nowadays but there are local competitors who absolutely expect you to call in orders. Wild stuff.

The wine buyer is supper cool and makes good suggestions if you ask him for it.

Amazing service!! My first time using their delivery and purchasing from store and I beyond pleased. I am shocked about how seamless and easy the checkout process was. The fact they offer free delivery within the city is reason for me to NEVER EVER, EV-ER consider delivery with any other wines & spirits shop in the city. I mean, I ordered a little after midnight the day I wanted delivery - got my order around 10:00 am that day - just beyond IMPRESSED. I mostly order off drizly, and Oak and Barrel consistently have some of the most interesting wines available. I bought two Georgian reds off them last week that were super interesting and complex; Im amazed O&B carried them in the first place, but also that they were so affordable.

I go here often. the staff is friendly and remembers what i come in for. i recommend this store for everyone.

The staff is friendly and helpful when in person and their online shopping and delivery experience is a breeze. They always have my favorite whiskeys in stock at good prices and deliver locally, often in about an hour!

Very good spot. The people that work here are super helpful and the prices are not bad. They have a good selection so if you work in the area or live near by check them out they should have something for everyone. Also I found out I believe they deliver if you live very close and but over a certain amount which is helpful if you are like me. Very clean place and easy to find from the street.

Placed order online for a case of wine for delivery out of state of NY. Delivery was great, however, the wine was vinegar and there was no support from store on getting a refund or even an exchange. $280 literally down the drain. Do not order for delivery unless you live near the store and can return bad product right away. Buyer beware. Also, not even an apology for sending bad wine. The guy on phone just said to go online for their return policy on wine. He stated he didnt know what their policy was. Right!!?

A friendly wine and liquor store with prompt service plus a great selection of inexpensive wines. The staff will reccomend a wine in your price range and ALWAYS give you the best option at the lowest price. They have a great selection of everyday wines but if you want something fancier they have it.They also hold occasional wine tastings.Delivery is free in the neighborhood. I definitely love their selection of lower priced wines which are reasonably affordable.

The best place to go if you’re either indecisive or not a wine connoisseur. One time I literally showed them cheeses I just bought at Whole Foods and asked them to pair wine with them and they legit took their time to look at each cheese and recommend wines that paired well and it was a party hit! Today we are making salmon and we called for a delivery for a good pairing and they went as far to ask how it was cooked and what sides we were having for the pairing. Very professional. Clearly passionate and they make us excited about ending our day with a nice hand picked wine!!

Very good experience with fast service, friendly staff and a great selection. It was a little too warm for a store carrying such high-end, investment level stuff on their shelves, but luckily the bottles I wanted came from the back and were cool to the touch. If proper storage temps could be confirmed, this may have been a four star review.
