The staff at this store are so friendly. Definitely will be making this my regular liquor store. They have everything you need. The cashier was so nice and very helpful at guiding me to the perfect wine for my date night. Definitely recommend going to Atmi liquor store for all your drinking needs. π
The best Liquor store in town. Staff is friendly, the shelves are stocked and the prices are great for the neighborhood
Over priced. most in nyc
Sorry I havent been there
I will never go back there again. Like other reviews say the cashier is mad disrespectful.
I bought and it got me drunk. 5 stars.
Horribly rude people.
They treat their customers horribly. Extremely rude. I do not recommend this liquor store at all. Will be going somewhere else in the East Village.
I feel compelled to write a review for this place because of the recent experiences Ive had here. Ive lived in the East Village for 6 years now. Whenever Ive thrown a dinner or social gathering at my apartment, or even if Im picking up something to take to a friends place, this is usually where Id go to 9 out of 10 times because its only a few blocks away. Over the past year Ive had some uncomfortable situations with the people who work (own?) the store. First off, the men behind the counter are always unfriendly and seem irritated, regardless of what time of day it is. But this last experience takes the cake:It was my birthday and I was having a few friends over to toast with me. It was winter and raining. I was in a very happy mood but keeping to myself. I entered the store, and after choosing what I wanted, I joined the line. Mind you, this being my birthday event, I picked up several bottles of top-shelf stuff and I was thinking to myself how convenient it was to have this store nearby. Once I approached the counter, the guy muttered about seeing my ID, which I already had prepared (mind you, its THE SAME GUY THATS BEEN THERE EVERY TIME FOR THE PAST FOUR YEARS). When he rang up my total he didnt even tell me because he wasnt even packing them away properly. He just didnt say anything and I had to look at the total on the tiny screen to then assume he was done and place my card. His demeanor was also very unfriendly. The machine then asked that I sign but because its some cheap basic card-reader it asked for me to sign with this electronic-pen that was taking forever to pick up my signature when I pressed on it, so I kept trying to press on it. As I did that this man had the audacity to yell at me and literally shouted, HURRY UP! WHAT ARE YOU TAKING SO LONG FOR? THERES A HUGE LINE BEHIND YOU!At that instant, I turned around to see literally two people behind me, one of whom was clearly still trying to decide what they wanted. I was a bit taken aback, especially because I didnt want the experience to take any longer than it needed to be. But what really got me was the fact that he had acted so rudely and offensively without even 1) thinking about whether the old card-reading machine was giving problems.2) attempting to be more understanding in light of the fact that I had just given him a good amount of business3) trying to treat someone who had been going there for 6 years with a little bit more respect and gratitude for their loyaltyThe sad part is that this all took place over the course of less than 30 seconds, maybe even 20. I really believe he was just in an irritable mood. The two other people in line didnt constitute some massive crowd needing immediate attention. Needless to say, he ruined my mood because WHO ON EARTH SHOUTS AT THEIR CUSTOMERS FOR TAKING TOO LONG to USE THEIR BROKEN CARD-READER?Never again. Avoid this place at all costs.
I got my booze very fast no issues. Staff was professional. Environment was clean and modern.
A very nice variety of alcohol, from cherry blossom sake to honey whiskey. The prices are definitely a bit more jacked up, but that is to be expected in this area. Its not as bad as the prices in the other stores we tried before we found this one.
The guy running the store when I went was rude. (He wears blue contacts).I donβt drink much and was comparing the higher end whiskeys for a special event.I was googling and researching in the store and he twice asked me, βare you alright?β But not in a kind βmay I help you decide?β more of a βwhatβs your problemβ kind of way.He asked from behind the register while cutting his fingernails!! After the 2nd time I almost asked if he wanted me to leave but I needed the bottles that night. I regret that I spent almost $300 there.
Went to buy at 11:45 and it was close they said they close at 12:00am I ended up with no items that I need and no time to go to other liquor store... very disappointed
Rude people
Good prices good staff
I did not have a pleasant experience here. The man was incredibly exasperated by ringing me up and very rude. I asked for a smaller bottle and he rang up a larger one, and when I pointed out the issue he was so upset at me (even though he was the one that made a mistake)that I ended up just being the larger one because I just wanted to get out than continue to receive such attitude and poor customer service. Also it was very overpriced. I would seek out any other option than this liquor store.
Good selection, helpful staff, saw a man walking his cat in the store. Overall great experience.
Terrible customer service. Refused to return unopened bottle with receipt that was purchased an hour before. Please donβt give this company your business. Astor Wines down the street is much better.
The only place open after 11 pm in this part of the city and has a nice selection of liquors.
Really good service, they took my card. They have hurry up and buy mentality, which I dont mind...
Very impatient customer service, unable to answer question. Rude.
Rude staff, would not recommend
It is what it is
Cheap and efficient. What else do you need from a liquor store in NYC?
Decent late night place to get that must needed bottle
What i do without this store xD I am a daily customer :)
A little over priced for the limited selection of items that I preferred.
Odd. Pricey. Average selection.
They know nothing about wine.
Unpleasant staff and expensive
Yes this is a liquor store, they sell booze.
