Super good. Has fun flavors like pandan (which is the green one I got as shown in my pic), matcha & cookies, red bean, egg tart aka dan tat, etc. The logo of the dragon and the fun Asian flavors reminds me a lot of Chinatown Ice Crean Factory, so I wonder if they’re by the same management. But would definitely recommend!!!
This is a gem! I love their ice cream flavors.. From the classics to the fun asian flavors.. Must try!
Ice cream was delicious. I ordered which is a favorite of mine. Lots of unique flavors.
Black sesame ice cream, with a lychee bottom. Sounds like a heavenly mix.
I went here today and the ice cream was delicious. I ordered Ube, which is a favorite of mine. Lots of unique flavors. As delicious as it was I am torn as to whether or not it’s worth $6.50 for one scoop. It’s quite pricey if you bring your children. Service was nothing special at all. I’ll go there again because the environment at the Essex market is exceptional and I enjoy being there.
The Best Ice Cream Place in Lower East side! Ice cream servers Gillianne and Tiffany were outstanding, provided outstanding customer service! They were so kind, informational, and super friendly! Very patient too! If you see them please provide a nice tip!😁 Ice cream flavors were very diverse and offered an incredible range. My favorites are Pandan and Baklava! Definitely worth the price!
The same people who brought you the wonderful Chinatown Ice-cream Factory, are here as well. Really yummy and interesting flavors if youre adventurous, as well as the traditional ones.
They are closed? The hours are not correct
I loved the ice cream there!!! the service was amazing. I love seeing flora there whenever I go to get ice cream! always brings a smile to my face. The place may be small but it is very homely because of all the workers. Would recommend :)
Ice cream factory is my favorite ice cream place. I am so glad it’s in my neighborhood now! My boyfriend and I love the new flavors - Pan Dan and Ube! Will definitely return to try others!
Where else do you find ice cream flavors like Ube (purple yam) or Pandan Leaf? Although on the pricey side, indulge! Worth it... Fluent mouthfeel, truthful flavors...
Fantastic, just like the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory, great, unique flavors of ice cream and cones! I got the really pretty Orange Creamsicle Cone, so so good, tastes just like it. Also the Squid Ink Ice Cream was amazing, so smooth and buttery and creamy. This is a super awesome location too, right inside Essex Market, so lots to see, eat, and drink while you’re there.
They may not have the Almond Cookie flavor they offer at 65 Bayard St but they have other interesting flavors like Blueberry or Matcha and Cookies. The location is probably the most convenient compared to their other locations in Chinatown or Flushing.
Tommy is easily the friendliest worker I have ever met. Plus his milkshakes are THICC
Artificial taste and flavor strawberry and mango. Even kids were disgusted. Please change quick!!
Edit: Prices have gone up for pandemic and Squid ink no longer available but get misuguru flavor (roasted grains) and cookie flavor! It is so sophisticated. For the love of God try the Squidink flavor! It is far better than you think! It faintly reminds me of sea salted ice cream with a hint of chocolate. The bright green pandan leaf flavor is quite good (if fresh), and reminds me of taro flavored ice cream. Cash only, 5.75 for a small (which is plentiful)! They only offer 2 tiny samples (wheres the hospitality?) BUT they make up for it with allowing 2 flavors on a small cone! I wish they had the famous flavors of their Chinatown Ice Cream Factory offshoot, like Zen Butter (pb + toasted seasame seeds), or avocado.
This is my favorite spot to go to. +1 for Tommy for being so patient with our complicated order.
