Very friendly staff. They need a better inventory. They wait until things are sold out to order them. Newbies need to learn about the brands. They finally have better hours for those of us who dont live in Manhattan.

Staff is disorganized and although nice, it doesnt seem like theres much communication. Ive been trying to get a specific makeup kit that was available on their website, but after 4 visits I havent been able to get it. My professor had some sent from the warehouse, but when I arrived, they only had 1 out of 3, and my classmate got it. They said that theyd reorder and call me, but failed to do so. When I sent people to recieve it today, they said that they had one but sent it back because they were tired of looking at it. If it was there long enough to do that, how come it wasnt there two days before? Very unprofessional.

This store is amazing. It is more geared toward the professional but they have anything you could want as a makeup lover. Very curated products and one of the only places I know of to get Danessa Myricks, Bdellium tools, Mehron, Mykitco, Smith brushes. Very nice staff.

The staff is always friendly and has a vast knowledge of the products in stock. Only downside to store is no prices on anything.

This shop is so cute and professional looking. The lady that helped me was very informative with the lines and products. Downstairs is a lot of sfx stuff. The lady also didnt question my abilities and was very supportive in helping me find what I wanted and needed. The lady also gave me a cute Alcone bag with my purchase

Large chain beauty stores are fun, but this place is a little different.. more flexibility with what and how you wear your makeup run by people who care about products they sell and the companies that sell them.

Alcone is a must for every pro artist living in, or visiting the NY area!! They have a huge variety of professional makeup, tools, and supplies within their small space. The entire staff are all working professional artists making them capable of assisting and answering every question with ease. They give honest, friendly advice and have superior product knowledge. Small store with most everything I need. If they dont have it they can order it for you. Also the basement has other products for the makeup hair artist such as bags, chairs, mirrors and Zücas.
