Nice place, well done espresso…. But they served in a cartoon cup…. I love my espresso in a “real cup” it’s take 2 more mi urea to enjoy it and I don’t like to walk with an espresso…. Why they don’t ask if there is for here or to go?? Hence ensure to clarify when you order….Everything looks tasty…….

Bright, airy, and inspiring. I really love coming here. their espresso program is amazing and they do an incredible job with specialty coffee drinks. Beyond that, their food is so well priced and really healthy! I come here to read and people watch, admittedly. The staff are great and very chipper. The views of 6th ave from the front are unparalleled! Including some shots of a lifestyle I shoot I directed for a blogger that loves Jesus! I cant wait to go back to this cafe!

Loved that place until Friday (24th of Sep.).In the morning me and my boyfriend decided to grab coffee and I mentioned that there is a great cafe I used to go to a lot. We came there and started waiting for anyone to pay attention to us. No “hello”, no “hey, I’ll be there in a second”- nothing. We were standing at a cashier and were waiting… there were 2 girls behind the bar (and some workers farther) and one girl on our side on the right doing something with the products the coffee shop sells. Non of them paid attention to us. It took uncomfortably long even though 3 (!!!) people were right in front of us within literally 20inches from our faces. I turned to my boyfriend and felt guilty for bringing us there, I told him that I feel invisible. He quietly nodded. After about 5 mins one of the girls behind the bar asked us what we want to order. We said that we want a hot latte and a cold brew. She took our order and we started waiting. She took the order form the person that was behind and served him first. Okaaaay. After that, she made me a hot latte and took another order… then another one. Kept serving them. We realized that she forgot about the cold brew. I came back to the cashier and reminded that we still wait for our cold brew. After “oh, right!” she brought us coffee, of course with no apologies or any sort of guilt. We felt very unwelcome and left with a strange feeling of guilt that we made these people work/do their job. Never again.

I love this spot, I wish I lived close by. The decor is so nice; some tables inside as well as outside. They have canned and dry goods for purchase (also sell Public Goods items). The place is really small and not suitable for meet ups. The salads are very carb heavy. I thought the drinks were pretty pricey too ($5.50 for a matcha latte) and so was the pao de queijo ($3 each for a pretty small ball of bread) although the latter was good-tasting. I wouldnt come here again.

Great shop with a wide variety of eats and drinks. Laptops are not welcome. They even have signs, no laptops, which is not a big deal because, technically, its not a library and I think there are plenty of other shops in the neighborhood that are more laptop friendly. I didnt have any of their drinks because I was in the mood for food. I ordered the turkey sandwich for $10 and I was terrifically disappointed. The sandwich was pre-made and it tasted like refrigerator air. I shoulda gone to Chipotle. I would have gotten my moneys worth there and its just a short walk away.

Came in on a Saturday at 9:15 AM. Place was a bit busy, but service was still fast and friendly. There is a $5 credit card minimum if youre like me and rarely carry cash. The latte and pão de queijo were great - will definitely come back for them. The brigadeiro didnt taste homemade to me (it was a little too similar to the canned brigadeiro taste to me) so it was only okay. Atmosphere is cozy and earthy because of plants and earth colors. They were playing disco music at a nice volume that didnt sound too loud and didnt make people yell in order to chat. Lots of seating for a space that looks small.

Mediocre coffee and food. I would not recommend anybody go here unless they would like to be disappointed. I was not pleased with the needless use of cups and paper bags to give me the food and coffee I ordered to sit in- for a company that wants to seem environmentally friendly with a compost bin, they should really consider the waste of resources when using disposable items even though these items are biodegradable; it took resources to make that paper cup, bring it to the restaurant, and then take it away to be composted; just use a ceramic mug! Frankly I was very disappointed with the bowl they served the avocado eggs in. I personally think it would be much better on a plate with everything on the bread, rather than in a bowel- that’s difficult to use cutlery with- and then the bread on the side in a paper bag. Finally, I’m certain that I was charged more than I should have been, so the staff must be careless; after all, they did get one girls order completely wrong when I was sitting down. The picture is of my food half way through eating, but I just needed proof that the bowels used to serve are just impractical.

I remember stopping in one night, for a quick bite before attending a nearby event. I think there were a combination of factors that left me feeling that my experience left a lot to be desired: I had no idea the Foursquare app was no longer being updated; another place had changed their hours, but that info was not indicated on their Google Map listing or Website; the fact that I was wholly unfamiliar with O Cafes menu, etc. Besides, I barely remember the quick bite I had had, which is another reason why returning to O Cafe, to see about having a better dining experience.

Incredibly insensitive and reckless about allergies. I clearly stated an allergy I had and asked about the ingredients of a menu item. I could not get clear information from any of the two front end employees. This place serves one kind of bread and could not provide its ingredients. They could not provide a label. They could not provide the bakery name. Finally a third employee came forward and insisted the bread did not contain nuts or sunflower seeds and I was served it. The bread clearly and visibly contained sunflower meats. How outrageous and unacceptable to provide misinformation in food service like this. Their ignorance and poor service could have led to a life threatening outcome for me. Appalled.
