Great place to get breakfast, lunch, coffee, hangout or have a cozy date! Loved the versatility of this cafe. I got an oat flat white with a rugelach pastry (warmed up) - it was delicious. The flat white was strong tasting, just the way I like it. They have plenty of seating so you will almost always find a spot, the ambience is lively but not loud, they have free wifi and a restroom - which makes it an ideal place to work out of. I cant wait to go back and try their breakfast!!
I’m gonna give it a 5 star because i love this place! This is the place i spent most of my time with when i first came toNew York. Sometimes it’s a little crowded and they don’t clean the tables as soon as possible but still very cozy place.Their ‘California Chicken Sandwich’ is awesome! I love it. Definitely recommend it! Im not vegan but i also like the vegan omelette sandwich.
Great friendly staff. Cashier Jaymes B was really nice and patient. It’s expensive coffee, but the ice aromas are better than frappuccinos and the coffee comes with a cute square of chocolate. The coffee/iced beverages may be too sweet for some people. The serving sizes are larger than in Israel. The bathroom was very clean. There was plenty of seating space.
Exceptionally bad in multiple ways.1) the food taste bad and tastes cheap (look at the pic and judge for yourself)2) the sandwich and lettuce pile was $143) took 15min to get my food4) 10min after I order (dine in), the staff comes by and tell that they are closing in 10min (I still havent gotten my food yet!)Not a chance this place is in business in a year. They do everything wrong
Great to see how the business has grown. 2 years ago, we were staying near 72th street and we meet Aroma. Now, again in NYC we walked about 45min to the previous location hoping to have some amazing coffee and an incredible salmon bagel. It was closed! but the smile returned as we read that they changed to church street. Next day, we came directly and found a bigger place, same amazing service and our awesome salmon bagels.
I ordered California grilled chicken which supposed to have avocado but they served it without. They didnt remember to tell me about running out of avocado until I asked about it. However the staff are very friendly and brought me some tasty fried mushroom. Their coffee is pretty good and I like the atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
This coffee shop is in the Financial District of Manhattan, near the World Trade Center. I have only eaten their once but several people who have eaten their more often agree with me. Its a great place to go for breakfast or lunch.Aroma is much larger than the other coffee shops in the area that I am familiar with, so it doesnt get too crowded. The breakfast or lunch items are typically made when ordered, so service can be a little slow sometimes during peak times. Prices seem to be in line with the other coffee shops in the area. The Coffee is excellent. I prefer it to Starbucks, which is too bitter for my taste. The shakshuka and the egg dishes are great and come with very large and very good side dishes. My main complain is that it is quite noisy, in part because its right off the street on a very noisy street right near the world trade center, If you want to work there, I would definitely bring head phones. However, in general Aroma is one of my favorite coffee shop/ bar and is recommended.
They got authentic food. If you looking for a European feeling then you must come and have a meal at this fantastic Restaurant. 🇪🇸
This is my favorite spot because of the excellent coffee and *delicious food*, the prices are very reasonable. There is always room to sit and where to charge your cellphone/PC. The staff is very kind and helpful.Even the toilet is always clean and I visit the place at least twice a week.
The aroma special is amazing. Definitely coming back for that.
I really liked this spot. Theres a lot more available besides the coffee (which is also pretty good). They have some really great Mediterranean food options, and there are plenty of healthy choices too. They also have some refreshing drink options, that are not just all sugar, but rather have flavor, which really are perfect for the summer heat.
This place has a great breakfast and coffee! Also the little chocolate treat is perfect. If there is a line it usually goes quite quick. Ample seating and they don’t mind if you have computers

Delicious croissants and very good coffee, everything served in/on real mugs and plates. Ample seating. Quiet atmosphere. Very nice coffee shop.
Customer service was great. But I just didnt like the food.
Pretty delicious options and you get a little chocolate bar with your coffee. The California Chicken Sandwich is flavorful and hearty. Its chicken two ways: chicken breast and an fried egg. Decent price. They also have free water so you can wash down the coffee taste after drinking a cup. Overall, good choice. Prices are fair.
Would come here all the time before covid. I love their coffee and power breakfast.
Absolute best place for coffee and breakfast downtown! Their espressos and Americanos wake you up! AND their food is always always delicious! Try the Shakshuka! AND if you’re eating in they actually respectfully serve on plates and actual ceramic mugs and real utensils!! Great space to get some work done too!Recommended.
Clean, with a minimalist decor. Big cozy booths. Food came beautifully presented and well prepared. Hot beverages come at perfect temperature. Definitely will come again.
Good hot chocolate! Quality coffee and food. Its a great coffee shop with attention to the little details- plenty of outlets to work/charge your phone, water tap, and they serve a little chocolate with every cup!
Everyone was friendly, coffee and pastry were great!
Great coffe and grear tasty gluten free food choices
Food is amazing!!!! 😍 visited here by chance when I visited ny and I had to go back before leaving as it was so tasty! Only down fall is in the pricing but it is worth the money!
Amazing place. I go there almost 3-4 times a week for coffee. Their hot chocolate is awesome. Make sure you ask for extra hot - hot chocolate. Their food options are also very good. Plenty of seating options. Quick service. Staff is very friendly. Make sure you get receipt for restroom code to access.
Tasty and quick coffee. Nice staff and lots of seating. The place is on ritual so that’s also a big plus!
Everything is a little nicer than your traditional cafe. Someone will prepare a custom sandwich or panini. Hand-tossed salads and soup. Dont forget to grab a coffee. Everything may take a few minutes longer, worth the wait. They bake their own breads and pastries.
The food and customer service was great. The employees working the cashier were also very sweet. However, as my family and I were eating, an employee climbed onto a table and stood on it with his dirty shoes. He cleaned the wall, then got down and left. He didn’t even return to wipe the place he walked on. Any customer who entered and sat at that seat, would be eating on an extremely dirty and unhygienic table. If you’re thinking about coming to eat here, consider this a warning.
The coffee had a nice little surprise. I was wondering why they gave me a spoon with my coffee. So I am drinking this nice smooth blend of heaven and when I get to the bottom there is this smooth lump of cream and swirl of fine chocolate to scoop. This is foodies delight!!! The service was awesome !
The soup we got would have been nice if it came with bread. The staff did not tell us beforehand that there was a bread shortage and served us a tomato sauce with egg hoping we wouldn’t notice the lack of bread.
Spacious spot with ample seating. Drinks are good, coded bathroom for customers in a financial district desert.
The hot chocolate here is unbelievable. I normally only drink Mexican hot chocolate, and am pretty picky about my hot chocolates, but the one at this espresso bar is some of the best Ive ever had! Highly recommend. And theres fresh squeezed orange juice, huge plus. One of my favorite stops in New York
This place has the best hot chocolate I’ve ever tasted. It’s so rich that you have to stir it before you drink it, and it even comes with a tiny bar of chocolate! The service is friendly, but sometimes it can take a while for the drinks to come out.
Good service, nice things on the menu
Iced coconut lychee drink was delicious!
It is simple and good. Not the best, but definitely not bad. Going around the region, its probably one of the best choices for quick breakfast. Croissant sandwiches are a little expensive for how simple they are, but overall theyre good.
Lovely place. They have good coffee and great collection of food choices. It also has really like seattings but it gets loud there so working here is not the best choice. But if you have some good quality noise cancelling headphones you should be fine.
I’m here now. Maybe the cashier could at least acknowledge my existence while talking to a coworker.
My morning coffee place! Love their hot chocolate - one of my favorites in the city. Staff are always friendly too! Tried a few salads and sandwiches also - very good. Cant go wrong with alfajores - yum!
What could be better than a warm halva pastry? Nothing, the answer is nothing.
Nice coffee place if you are not a Starbucks person. We went close to closing time and it was quiet. Great for couples in the evening for a cup after a good meal
Great food they bake their own bread. Good price for what you get too. Edit: meh customer service. I ordered something, paid, and was told a few minutes later that they were all out of what I ordered. That was fine, I understand, but then they only let me substitute it for something else that was the *exact* same price... leaving me with 4 choices I didnt really care for.
Good location. Food tasted good, Coffee Excellent- Staff typical NYC, starange system for service, not very efficient.
Not really a coffee drinker, but I love coming here for food. Whatever I had from their menu was absolutely satisfying. I had classic smoked salmon sandwich last time I went there. Ingredients were fresh and on point. You can really taste all those flavors mixing in your mouth. I rarely experience that in chain restaurants. Staff is pleasant and efficient. One thing I absolutely disliked is they have this cellphone charging unit and they are charging for it! Really?! I can think of several reasons why would you want to charge something like this, but I still think its lame. Its almost like charging for tap water!
A lovely place. A bit pricey but excellent service. You must try their ginger turmeric tea. It is amazing.
This place has the best cafe au lait Ive ever had. I dont usually get them because I dislike brewed coffee (I prefer espresso), but I decided to do something different from my usual cappuccino, and Im glad I did! It was not only palatable, but actually good. The prices werent bad at all. I liked the openness of the space, and the staff was quick. Im only visiting, but if I lived in NYC, Id be a regular.
There used to be another aroma by washingtom Sq Park but that closed. I came here coming from that and theyre very similar. Awesome food!
Loved everything but the prices. Hot chocolate is a must here as they use real rich chocolate.
Quality food with cool environment. Cooperative staff. Beautiful place. Genuine price .
Love this place! Food is fresh, fast and delicious. It is a bit pricey though. I really love the Power Breakfast. It gets really crowded at lunch time but they move really quickly. There is also lots of seating.
Loved the place. Great food and great atmosphere
An Aroma coffee and espresso located in prime location. Great food (sandwiches salads and cakes) with goid coffee. Very reccomended
I have all my coffee chats and informational interviews at this place. food is good, coffee is above average and the small chocolate that comes with your drink is the cherry on top. Pro tip: if you work down in fidi, check to see if your company gets a discount.
Got caught in the rain and sought refuge. Nice place. Decent chocolate and tea . The alfajores were a bit crumbly.
Tried aroma espresso bar at 100 Church St and Barclay Place for my afternoon coffee break.Delicious almond milk cappuccino served with one of aroma’s equally delicious small chocolate espresso bits. The facility is modern, bright, and cheerful with knowledgable, personable front desk staff and baristas. My only criticism is that even though they have a full kitchen serving a great array of options for breakfast, lunch, and brunch, they have almost no gluten-free breads or treats. The only things they could offer this afternoon were potato chips and some cookies that looked way too hard to eat.
Nice coffee place with seating. Good place for a meeting too.
They have good coffee and great collection of food choices. It also has really like seatings but it gets loud there so working here is not the best choice. But if you have some good quality noise cancelling headphones you should be fine.
Great healthy food options. Very good cappuccino
I had a cup of Chai Latte here and it is sweet and rich. There is big lunch crowd when I visited. They have a huge food menu although I did not get to try any food here. The price for coffee is comparable to Starbucks but the atmosphere is more bustling. Would like to try their food one day!
Nice place . Atmosphere was also good . Every was very comfortable . Also good place for work . I loved the Drinks collection . Great good .
Best hot chocolate ever!
Nice coffee shop. Good vibe. I bought just an iced coffee. So I dont know how the food is. Good price for my iced coffee. Clean uncrowded and has wifi and spots to charge your electronic devices.
If you love paying dine-in restaurant prices for hospital cafeteria food, this is the place for you! This is the second time I’ve eaten here and my $10 BLT came with no lettuce or tomato because they neglected to tell me they were out. The servers were kind but even with free avocado added the sandwich was so bad. Breakfast is equally disappointing: the eggs are so overcooked you could bounce them off the floor.
This was good. A strange way of service. Its probably targeted more at locals. Nice coffee. I had a turkey club.
This place has succulent food. I had the Turkey BLT and the California Chicken sandwiches. Both are awesome choices.
