Among our group, we had an oat milk latte, regular milk latte and cappuccino, and a iced berry matcha latte, and a spinach quiche. All items, especially all 3 of the coffees, were excellent and latte art was pretty as well. One of my favorite coffee shops in the Times Square surrounding area. The spinach quiche is quite filling though a bit expensive at $7.25
I love their latte! It was smooth and the flavor was balanced between milk and coffee. The scone was also delicious which I wish they can make more flavors in the future. However, it was a little bit pricy for a scone. I got a pretty small one compared to the one they put in the front to catch your eyes.
Best coffee Ive had in Manhattan in a while. Finally! Its been slightly depressing these days because Ive been trying so many highly rated cafes with mediocre coffee.I tried a flat white today. Really aromatic coffee with just the right level of bitterness, topped with a professional foam pour, all while the baristas were filling a large order by another customer. You could tell they know what theyre doing. Anyways, I just remember that first sip feeling like heaven amidst my otherwise bland day (I was in the area for car repairs... lots of auto shops around here). Will most certainly be back if Im in the area again!
I quickly searched a nearby cafe while at Times Square (bc why support starbucks when you can support a small business?) and I came across this delicious place! The barista was so kind and created the perfect cappuccino! I told him I wanted it sweet but not overwhelming and he got it on the nose! The space was quaint and filled with awesome artwork! Definitely check this place out!
A nice place to have coffee and a sandwich. At this coffee shop, you will see a smile on all crew faces. I always coming here to have my coffee and chill out with my friends. Also, I noticed that many people ordered the pavlova cake that looked delicious. I will surely return to this coffee shop and highly recommend it as an official stop on a visit.
Great cup of Guatemalan Antigua. Very friendly and efficient staff.
This is such a good place to sit down and relax. You can have a delicious coffee or something tasty on their menu to eat! The staff is great as well.
Ive been going to this shop for a few years now. They serve their own blend of coffee and offer fresh baked goods. My first order was the espresso on its own. Ive been hooked since then.
Smooth and delicious! Im in Hells Kitchen on travel and Frisson has become my go-to morning stop. Friendly staff with delicious brews.
The coffee is one of the best I ever tasted please go there a get your coffee they
Best coffee in the area. Try the cappuccino. Friendly service. A small space with limited outdoor seating.
I drive lyft and passed by had to go in causevi like to support small businesses. The batista was nice and I would like to go back . Please support the place unfortunately I was in but of rush
Fantastic hole in the wall, latte (iced and hot) and pastries were amazing.
Great service, always a smile on his face. Great coffee and great food at a very reasonable price. Small, but cozy and friendly
Had a great Japanese ice coffee here, and the staff were super friendly and helpful with selecting a coffee to try.
Really great coffee. I would rate this as one of the best espresso shop I have visited. A nice, small breakfast to start the day. Nearly feels like home. Recommended!!
Looking for great coffee, amazing people, and incredible latte art and food? Youve found it.
Amazing coffee!! The pecan pie is the best I ever had!! Customer service is great specially from Robert he is always nice and positive!!
Owner is extremely educated & polite, kept us entertained while we had our daily dose of caffeine. Desserts way BEYOND delicious and the coffee, well, I am definitely coming back!!!
Love this place. They have the absolute nicest staff and owner. And the food is amazing. Also a great place for brunch with casual but really nice indoor and outdoor seating.
We loved this espresso!)
Lovely barista and the mocha was SO good! Definitely coming back when I’m in town again.
In The Kitchen, Hard Working People. Quick food service, very prompt & very delicious food! The best quality and parts are both top.
Friendly staff, great coffee, and delicious food.
When youre in Midtown, this is the place to be.Coffee: Fantastic! The barista (J) is talented and will make nice forms of lactose art lol #GetTheCapDessert: Mini Maple Pecan Pie 👌Service: Quick, efficient, and incredibly friendly. The barista was also the owner and usually those are the best kind of baristas.Price: Very fairWelcome to the B.C. 5-Star Club:Became my go-to place 👍🏾
Excellent quaint coffee shop tucked a few blocks from Times Square. Exquisite coffee and pastries. My wife and I had a latte each and then shared a bagel and chocolate croissant - all excellent - i barely got a bite of the choco-croissant because my wife enjoyed it so much! Not a lot of room or tables so if one is available snatch it up before you go to the counter. You’ll want to take a moment to rest and enjoy the coffee and the beautiful designs.
Great flat white! 👌🏼
Very rude and unpolite personal. Rejected the kid from getting the drink. Their website mentions they close at 7pm we got there at 6:44pm. When we told him we are on time he just shut the door saying today they decided to close early...Def not how you suppose to treat your custumers for sure! Wont be back.
Nice tasting food, excellent service, & within 5 minutes we got our food!! I liked how the place felt like a family, but it was also a casual easy vibe.
Excellent coffee, service & pastries. :)
Excellent fresh coffee. Friendly staff
Not bad start to my day after short run. Its quaint place with friendly service but music was a little mainstream (!) for usual indy coffee places. More importantly coffee was ok but flattie was massive (10oz) & too hot. Smooth but could really taste espresso notes. Not awful but not exactly shoreditch (London coffee central)
Best coffee shop and friendliest baristas in all of NYC! The latte art is incredibly unique and beyond artistic. My favorite drink is the iced mocha with oat milk. Take-out and limited outdoor seating are available at the moment. Would highly highly recommend!
Their coffee is one the tastiest . The staff is always smiling . Worth checking out
Got a nice, flaky raspberry scone and the best cappuccino Ive had in a long time
I could not ask for more about it because I was greatly satisfied with the taste of the coffee and for the outstanding service that they provided. Well done, guys! Thanks a lot!
They are very good in making coffee and tea. They make a brilliant structure of a coffee and tea. I will also suggest my friends and colleagues.
Atmosphere was great, set at bar for while server was nice.
Definitely one of my favourite NY coffee spots in this part of the city, if not the whole.Their flat white tastes and looks (see picture) amazing and the staff is both friendly and competent.Another big plus is the exquisite music selection, you gotta love being productive and/or procrastinating and/or chatting with those mellow tunes.
My daughters and I were in need of warmth on a bone chilling day in the city. Normally we have a great time in NY, this wasnt one of those days. Frisson Espresso was the best part of our day. They make a fantastic cup of coffee and hot chocolate. The staff is pleasant and welcoming, the store is clean and comfortable and the price is right. Very happy we tried it out.
Best coffee in the city!
Great coffee, great little space. Pastries are delicious but could be warmed up a bit more than they were. Awesome spot for coffee meetings
One of the things I miss most about NYC. Good coffee, good vibe, and very friendly staff
HIGHLY recommend. Great latte and latte art. Very aesthetically pleasing in every way. Friendly staff.
A hidden gem in Hell’s Kitchen. I was in town staying in Time’s Square and needed some good coffee. This place was down the street. They make a really good espresso drink. And also some pretty amazing overnight oats. Service was also super friendly.
Quaint coffee shop with good quality, albeit, on the pricier side coffee, especially if you get an iced drink ($.50 up-charge). Very loud with the music playing and people talking in such a small space. Not a good place to study but it’s a good place to catch up with a friend, if you can snag one of the limited seats, in the Times Square/hell’s kitchen area.
Awesome coffee. I mean really great espresso and cappuccino which is really rare in the US.A pretty small place so I wouldnt recommend a group to come sit here. They also have some baked goods, but not a proper kitchen or breakfasts. Service is fast and professional.
Came to Frisson Espresso for a coffee with a friend and it was delicious. The space was pretty small but there were plenty of seats. I had a latte which came with some beautiful art and my friend had a black tea. The only downside was that the music was a little loud and not something I wanted to listen to while drinking some coffee and chatting. Other than that. It was fun.
Theres not much available seating, but if you do get to find a place to sit there, it is definitely a good choice to sit there and read / work on something. The staff are extremely nice, which definitely adds up to the experience there. The coffee is pretty good but that sweets variety is rather limited. If you find yourself in the area in need of a small and somewhat cozy coffee shop, this is definitely the place to go.
Very cozy little cafe! I tried the cappuccino and a raspberry scone. It was delicious. What I did not like: the punk music. The place is tiny. If youre more than 2 people youll have a hard time finding a table.Note: theres no public restroom in the cafe, and the WiFi is there but its really bad.
Great coffee! Limited seating
Small espresso shop on an otherwise unassuming street. I had an excellent espresso drink, good flavor, good temperature. The space itself is small and only has a few seats. Its a good place to stop for takeout if youre in the neighborhood.
Its cute, and the coffee is good, but its too small to count on for a pre-theater meeting place.
