Consistently great service, meats and the chicken tastes far better than what the grocery store sells.May cost a little more, but you dont have to throw away half of what you are paying for because of all the fat and waste!Just give them a try!

Best roast beef sandwiches Ive ever eaten. Just finished their Thai sausage and it was a religious experience. I cant rate them high enough. The staff are OG butchers and the fare is incredible. If they opened a restaurant Id want to be an investor. Please buy their food!!!

Theres a sign out saying service dogs are allowed, I went in with my dog - one of the men in staff said dogs are not allowed. I mentioned that sign regarding service dogs, to which he asked in front of another customer what kind of service my dog was providing. I am pretty sure they dont have the right to ask that question. Disappointed with this experience. Perhaps some diversity and inclusion training could help the staff.

Absolutely incredible shop. The staff were super friendly and helpful, gave me a lot of great tips for my steak. The meats are not to be ignored either, super fresh steak, awesome bone broth, all the cuts you could ask for, including a lot that are hard to find. Also, the pastrami? No exaggeration when I say possibly the best Ive ever had, tastes like a cross between bacon and super creamy butter, just melts in your mouth. They have tons of hard to find gourmet ingredients too, trumpet mushrooms, duck eggs, etc.There is a wait due to COVID restrictions on capacity and its definitely not on the budget side of things but! If you want to buy the best, this is the spot, worth the wait, worth the money.

Amazing butcher. All their meats are pastured (good luck finding another store/butcher that offers 100% pastured meats that include pork, beef, lamb, goat and chicken...).The lamb/beef/goat are 100% grass fed.For those who may not know, those are what those animals are supposed to be eating instead of grains in commercial cattles and it greatly impacts the nutrition and especially fat profile of the meat. Basically when the meat is pastured and fed grass theres way lore omega 3 and less omega 6 (which are inflammatory). So it matters a lot especially if you meat daily.They have charcuterie too and their prices are very reasonable.

The staff could be nicer and should not response with anger. We all have bad days but this kind of behavior is not acceptable under any circumstances. I will purchase from another store from now on.

Great quality meat and good selection of other foods like cheese and beer. If you go to lunch they have good quick lunch as well.

Very high quality meat. Prices are high but you are paying for the quality. The cost is worth it. The staff is very friendly and helpful with questions regarding types of meat and how to cook. You can ask for custom cuts of meat. They rotate different types of sausages every couple weeks. Their bacon is amazing. Highly recommended.

Professional and delicious Butcher shop. The sandwiches are sublime. Take one to a bench on Broadway since there is no seating. Meats are fairly priced and the guys behind the counter are patient and knowledgeable.

Amazing service. I have been to many, many butchers. Nowhere compares to these guys. Exceptional service. Everyone is very friendly and they are actually butchers! So many butcher shops dont have actual butchers at the front counter and the orders are always wrong or messed up. These guys are top notch butchers. Dont go anywhere else. High quality meat at fair prices.

The spot is cool. Staff are knowledgeable about meat and friendly. Probably wouldve given them 4 stars, but they are a little pricey. Guess thats ok though for what they do. I am a big fan of their sliced roast beef. Was there this morning in fact. Let me know what you think.

My husband is on a corned beef making binge and the staff here are very helpful and the meat is beautiful. Even if that weren’t the case, their bacon is out of this world and worth the walk through the park even in winter weather. Worth every penny.

Beware getting a growler of beer here. I was very excited to be getting a growler for a nice Christmas gift, and it exploded in my bag on the way home within minutes of leaving the store, despite me holding it very carefully. What a disappointment and a mess. My entire bag and all its contents were ruined. Very disappointed.

Just a magnificent addition to our neighborhood. Simply fantastic meats and really wonderful staff willing to help and very knowledgable. So happy so far. Support this Butcher or one day we will have another nail salon. Today we got delicious fresh sausage and a few days ago, great steaks. Prices seem fair and its all good stuff. I am now a regular.

Been coming here and the Hudson location for quite some time now. The staff is genuine and honest about their cuts. I never let the traffic driving from Queens bother me knowing Ill be having great quality meat for dinner.

I dont know what we did before this shop opened. The staff is friendly, funny, and they know their stuff. And what stuff it is! For such a tiny shop, the selection (beyond their extraordinary meat) is excellent and the quality of everything, from their beer to hot sauce to butter to dog treats to cheese to you-name-it, is the best of the best. I could literally shop there every day!

Bought a 2nd cut brisket to cook for the first time ever. Was very nervous about the whole process, but the cut was amazing! The meat was tender and juicy, and the fat just melted away! I will be going back for more! Down side is I now am expected to bring brisket for every holiday.Side note: call ahead and see what they have available. This cut took three days of checking in.

Great place to shop at, they have time to talk to you about the cuts of meat so you better understand you food. I love going in there as it reminds me of a country shop, which brings back memories. I highly Recommend them
