Easy browsing in the 3 level store without being followed around. When you need assistance, they are very good and genuinely friendly. Good pricing depending on which fabrics you choose. 1 stop shopping from pottery to sofas. Lights are modern and not cookie cutter. Great rugs, throw pillows and room accessories. Minimalist design concept with great offerings.

Beautiful store. Nothing is as it appears when delivered. Things are scratched and broken. Customer service is terrible. Sales people tell you one thing and the actuality is completely different. Stay away! 2 months later we still haven’t got the replacement.

Came in needing to update my furnishings and had a really pleasant interaction with Anne despite the busy day in the store. Had to go home to review my space and gave a call back to the store a day later to confirm my purchase and Anne remembered my choices! Thank you dear. Amazing shopping experience. Everyone we worked with was a pleasure to work with. The staff is always there when you need them but never feel like they are too imposing. After spending serval months shopping around we definitely feel that eq3 has the best selection for our taste but more importantly the staff makes the entire transaction an enjoyable experience. Extremely unprofessional and unorganized service, dishonest estimate of delivery, along with one of the most infuriating and inefficient delivery set up.We purchased entire dining, livingroom, bedroom set from here with expected date of shipment from 8-10 weeks.The partial delivery came in as incomplete, (ex: incomplete setup for wall unit/shelving, so we cannot even put them together), and the service was terrible, simply refusing to set up the furniture despite that we paid for the extra service. We had to show them the signed contract. They still opened up the incomplete setup for the wall unit/shelving, so we literally have screw parts/wooden rods randomly hanging out in our living room.Then, at 10 weeks, there has been no contact regarding remaining of the furniture. We contact the company/store, and it takes 2 weeks to hear something back. And the answer we get is all of the remaining order were never even pulled from the factory, and other upholstery furniture were never put into production to start with. Apparently they just found out the leg of the sofa is back-ordered.It is infuriating that we wasted 10 weeks just to find out that the majority of our order were not even pulled from the factory or even start with production, and nobody in the team bothered to update us, until we contacted them multiple times. I would never recommend this company.

I first met Ann Laurie a few months ago to look for dining chairs. She let me test several styles and showed me a few options she liked that I didnt consider when I had style goggles on. I ended up getting dining chairs from another store but enjoyed chatting with her and visited EQ3 months later when I was looking for a chest of drawers. I bought the Marcel chest with her help. She is unflappable when dealing with multiple customers, entertaining and knowledgeable in design and a wide range of topics. Go look for her in the basement!

EDIT: EQ3 did offer a refund after about 2 months of back and forth over what was supposed to be an easy purchase of a dresser. I am ok with the outcome, however, I have to say this wasnt supposed to happen. Note that I was offered a refund and had it processed immediately (money was in my bank account the next day) only after I posted a public review (!) and I spoke to one of their managers (and also after that manager had the nerve to say that, you know, it was our decision to buy the dresser; sure it was - a fully functional dresser as pictured on the website, not a broken one). There is research showing that terrible customer service is profitable because customers give up after 2-3 phone calls without any result. This is exactly the approach taken by this company. I didnt give up and got what I needed, but a lot of time and energy were spent on holding them accountable to what they are obligated to do (deliver the right product or issue a refund if theyre unable to do so). I truly hope that their promises that theyre learned something out of this and will make amends have some truth to them. And I also really hope that my horrible experience was an exception (3 times an exception, as they sent a broken product 3 times). Cheers! Crate&Barrel will have my business moving forward, as their customer service is unparalleled (consistently).If I could give them -5 stars I would. I really wanted to like this company. We bought a dresser (the Marcel one) 2 months ago. It came broken 3 (THREE) times. An absolute nightmare. Every time the delivery team would get to our home and wed crack the box open, wed see a dent. The drawers would not function properly, the wood would be dented, random nails would pop out from the furniture. EQ3 blamed it on the shipping company. I wont argue with that, but in the end it is the responsibility of the company to ensure a smooth process and delivery of the product from start to end. Customer service is either incompetent or trying really hard to not help you. Weve send upwards of 30 emails trying to get the issues fixed and called more times than I can count. Hours and hours of time wasted to get at least part of our money back to no avail. I never thought ordering a dresser would cause us so much anxiety and stress. It wasnt cheap; we cant afford to go get a new one without a refund. I simply cant believe this is happening and I have never before in my life dealt with such behavior and complete disregard for a customer when it was clearly, without any doubt the companys fault. I will, of course, never consider EQ3 again and I wish other would not either. At these price points, theres plenty of other brands to choose from that do not treat you like complete trash and make you cry because of how they treat you when you ask that you be refunded for a broken dresser. We will likely get in touch with our bank to try to recoup some of the cost because talking to these individuals is worse than talking to a wall. Shame on you, EQ3. And I hope you either clean out your act or go out of business.

I recently ordered the bedroom selection from EQ3 New York. We like their product design, simple, pratically with good quality. We worked with Anne, she has been very helpful, and always be there to answer our questions via email and phone. This being my first big move, selecting furniture items that are functional, fun, AND cohesive proved a greater challenge for me than I had imagined — until I stepped foot in EQ3 and was met with an amazing, knowledgeable staff!! Truly wonderful service and products at EQ3...and I’ve visited many furniture shops. I worked with Anne Laurie — she is THE BEST!! Without her creative eye as my guiding light, I would still be searching in the dark for living room furniture. She is not only patient with her clients, giving them all the time they need to decide on the right piece, but she truly listens to her clients aesthetic preferences and gives great attention to detail. I did a ton of research to try and find a well made, and good looking modern sofa. I bought a sofa from here and received it a few weeks ago. I was told the delivery would be 3-6 weeks. It took 6, and showed up in perfect condition and the delivery was very strait forward and easy. In the store I was helped by Anne Laurie, who showed me several options and went through different delivery times and fabrics to help me find what I was looking for. I am extremely happy with the result. I ended up with an Oskar Sofa in Eva Haze fabric. The color is beautiful, the sofa is firm, which is exactly what I wanted since I have lower back pain. All around, I would highly recommend a sofa from EQ3!

I am not the best shopper as I have too many questions and can become indecisive. So it was with some trepidation that I called EQ3, Chelsea as I hoped to get free delivery and product advice on some items I had a fancy for, but was still a little indecisive- the EQ3 Call Center had said we have no free delivery offers but try your local store. I did. Enter Miss Anne Laurie, Design Consultant, par excellence.Her product knowledge, warm intelligent persona and genuine interest in my design needs made my phone call an absolute pleasure. It is actually unreasonable how much I like everything in this store. Its a perfectly crafted mix of design and practicality. Its like a nicer Ikea with out all the assembly, or a more European muji. Somehow blends modern and rustic and its an absolute trap for me, the longer I spend there the more things I add to my cart. Its not even overpriced! I could outfit my entire place here and be very happy.

I was very pleased with the level of service and attention I received while shopping for a new sofa at EQ3. I had pretty much already made up my mind that I wanted to purchase from EQ3 based on the quality of their products, but the in store customer service I received solidified my decision to go with them. EQ3 is definitely pricier than some of the more common brands from whom I have previously purchased, but you have to understand these are high quality products that are built to last, and clearly this company cares about making sure their staff is knowledgeable of their inventory and helpful to customers.

Visited the EQ3 Showroom in Chelsea, NYC. After shopping around for a sofa for almost 8 months, my partner and I had searched at West Elm, CB2, and independent furniture warehouses, and we were so impressed with the quality and design of the options at EQ3. We worked with Senait, who was hands down the best design consultant we could have imagined. There is hand sanitizer on arrival and minimal people in the store. They have a great selection of stuff and i ended up walking away with a great dining table from the floor and some bits and pieces. We walked by the store, immediately attracted to the clean modern design, and when we walked in we were lucky enough to work with a talented decorator/ sales person named Quint, he made our visit really enjoyable. We needed some help finding an area rug and pillows, and he was a natural, he totally understood what we wanted and helped us pick out a gorgeous rug and pillows. Good and personable help is not alwaYS easy to find, and shopping for your home can be overwhelming. We highly recommend checking out EQ3 and to look for Quint, he has amazing taste and is low key cool.

We had horrible customer service with these people. After we paid $1,100 for one of their media consoles which the sales person repeatedly assured us was in stock, they spent the next 9 weeks (on a 4–6 week delivery window) lying to us about where the product was until they finally admitted that they had no clue about our order and told us to request a refund.

The quality of service I received at EQ3 was superb. Senait’s expertise in design, her friendliness and desire to please was extremely helpful. I was so happy I brought photos of the room I needed furniture for. She displayed great enthusiasm in what I was trying to accomplish in my decor. In addition, I brought to her attention a discrepancy in the tagged price of the table on the floor which was less costly than the list price. After a follow up on the cost was conducted I was not disappointed. I was extended the courtesy of paying the lesser amount that I had originally seen the table priced for. This consideration afforded to me proved EQ3s commitment to their customers. All that I experienced is greatly appreciated.
