A nice spot for women to buy their beauty needs. They have a huge selection of hair pieces in both human and synthetic.

I had been looking a particular style of hair and as soon as I walked in I was able to get help and find exactly what I needed. It felt nice after having been to 6 other beauty supply stores with no success. Their prices were reasonable and they had a large selection of items. You also get a coupon for your next visit which I appreciated.

The store has a variety of hair products the shelves were neat when I was there and I got a card with a coupon for a future purchase

5/12/21, nice selection of wigs, you can touch the wigs and try on the display with a store bought wig cap. I trying to learn the part system, whats a 360 part? How do you change one part from one side to another? I guess I have to learn from YOUTUBE!! Sometimes its like pulling teeth to find color availability! I wish they would create a system where I could find availability without assistance.

I love this big beauty supply store. It has everything. Whenever I need last minute supplies this is the place to go. I also love that the store offer wig installations when you buy their wigs. Todays experience was very good. The prices are a bit high but the store has all your hair care needs. I found the crochet hair I was looking for and some extra things I didnt know I wanted. The staff was pleasant and I wish I had asked the name of the woman that climbed the ladder and found the curl pattern I wanted but I wasnt thinking. She patiently helped me find what I needed to complete my hairdo. Thank you so much.

Whatever another drugstore or beauty supply lacks this location picks up the slack. They have literally everything that youre possibly looking for when it comes to hair and beauty. The people on the floor are really helpful when youre looking for what youre need but the cashiers are a bit harsh though.

There are a bunch of Beauty Land in this area, but I normally end up at this one since they have all of the products that I need. I try and be in and out very quickly though, since it is a very small location. Still would recommend

Its expensive but reliable. Although in the hood it shouldnt be fighting within the African Hair Braiding section on top. If it werent so convenient and they did hair so good I wouldnt go.Ps. Bring your own toilet paper if you are about to get your eye brows or hair done. I look like a brunette lion but it should lay down in a few days

Terrible!!! I will never spend another dime in this store again. During this pandemic, I went into this store with my reusable shopping bag like I always do because you have to pay for bags and used my bag as always like my cart. This particular time, I went in the store, I started to put the items that I was going to purchase in my bag(clearly a shopping bag and not a purse) and one of the women says to me. Excuse me what are you doing. I was oblivious to what she was talking about, so I asked her what happened. She said, I see you putting things in your bag. So I told her that I always do that when I come into the store and give the bag to the woman at the register. She then tried to accuse me of stealing. So, I once again explained that I am not a thief and that I do nothing want to touch the carts because of the corona. I was not making an attempt to leave the store with out paying and I had been in the store twice in the last two weeks. So I went up to the front to tell the security and another woman working there the problem. I had over $1000 in my pocket and showed them. By this time, I am infuriated, because I am not a thief and I work too hard to ever be accused of being one. On top of this. I had a $5 coupon from the last time I made a purchase from that store from the previous week. I put the stuff on the counter and did not purchase anything. I will never shop at this store again. It is a real shame that you can not even shop without having to go through something like this. I could completely understand if she saw me putting stuff in my bag and saw me trying to walk out of the store with these items and then said something. Then yes, you could accuse me of stealing. I really think that the culture really makes a difference. You can’t work in a neighborhood and assume that everyone in that neighborhood is trying to steal from you. They will never get another dime from me!!! If I can go to the supermarket and every other place and use my reusable bag to shop and not get accused of stealing then i should not be at this place. The (African) woman didn’t even ask me if I needed help. Every black person is not dishonest!Today is November 18th, 2020. I spent $70 in this location on Nov 13th and another $53 on November 9th. This location will never see another dime of my money!!! They can care less about the community, only the dollars that it gets from the people in it.

Going back to get more hair. Love it there.

One of my favorite beauty supply stores in NYC. Its massive with all kinds of hair styling products, extensions, and accessories. If its used to style hair, more than likely they have it. Go to the back for a massive selection of wigs that rivals any other beauty store in NYC. I go there so often, the ladies know my name. What can I say? Its my go-to for looking beautiful!

Came here for the first time to get some lash glue. Not coming back. I asked the darkskin lady for help since the lash glue was locked. She gave me attitude saying wait a second. She was attending a guest so i waited. When she was done, she looked at me and called the next guest when i asked for help. She had me waiting there for about 10 minutes and she was giving me looks.

The Asian ladies are so nice and helpful and the Spanish lady too. The other black lady at the counter is so rude and always looking upset like she don’t like her job. The people in there watch you like you’re going to steal instead of asking if you need help. Find another beauty land because it’s not worth spending your money in a negative environment.

I have been here many of times. The sales rep are really helpful and when you buy something over a certain amount you get a card that gives you a certain amount off your purchase the next time that you come and its unlimited time so can use it anytime that you choose. Wonderful store and mad variety to choose from. This is my favorite store.

The guy at the entrance did not say one word to me as I entered the store, he just took my bag and handed me my tag for my bag. And did the same as I collected my bag when I left. NOT one word!!

The Apollo beauty Land is a beauty supply store. You can get all hair products there. Not only beauty supplies you can get your hair braided, eyelashes and eyebrows done. They also sell wigs you in the back of the store. I call this a one stop shopping . You can get just about everything here. Except food.

Terrible place to shop. Prices for items are inconsistent, multiple stickers on one item at times. Bag check at the door, store workers follow you aggressively without even trying to appear helpful. There’s a braiding salon in the back and you will likely get asked if you want your hair braided at least 5xs per visit. Outdated old products.Just a total disaster of a “business”.

Apollo Beauty is absolutely horrible. They close and lock their doors 30 minutes before the store closes. They overcharge you on products saying it was mismarked when pricing. The workers are rude especially the guy at the door. The nicest people there are the ladies upstairs who braid hair.

Everytime I go here they have what I need. When you cant find certain things at other beauty supply stores. Check here and the customer service is good

If you feel like taking time to make a second trip to this establishment because the cashiers forget to put all of your purchases in your shopping bag, then this is the place that will have you trekking back and forth. I would not call this place clean unless NYC grime is normal for you, which for the 8 million people who call NYC home, it is.
