I went in to Village Jewelers to get some links taken out of my watch and could not be more satisfied with the service. Not only did I get my watch fitted quickly and for free, but the man who helped me was extremely kind and helpful. Village Jewelers has a great location and is truly top notch when it comes to customer service as their employees are genuine and friendly.

Ive walked by Village Jewelers many times (mostly on the way to Sweet Ceces) and when my watch battery died, I decided to check it out. So I stroll in on my lunch break, watch in hand and realize this is a much nicer jewelry store than Id anticipated. There are diamonds in display cases and a couple shopping for wedding bands and there I am with my $50 watch, looking to spend $10 on a new battery. I was a little concerned they wouldnt be happy to see me but the guy behind the display cases (I didnt introduce myself, so bad on me) immediately put me at ease, changed my watch battery right away and we chatted for a couple of minutes. If I was in the market for nice jewelry, Id go there. Im definitely going back when my watch battery dies again and I would highly recommend visiting them.

Its surprising that this store is still around. It seems to be always closed in the morning or late afternoon, within the official opening hours. What good are regular opening hours if you cannot rely on them, and when every time you end up in front of a closed door when you take the effort of going to the store.

The sales lady that helped me was very kind, but I found it difficult to hear her over the managers rantings. The entire time I was there he berated his employees right in front of customers. I felt so bad for the employees. Not a good shopping experience.

Village Jewelers is my go-to, homegrown, wonderful store. Friendly, individualized attention without any of the hard-sell pressure. We bought my 20th anniversary ring here, theyve repaired my engagement ring, untangled a necklace I had made a mess of, fixed watches -- you name it. Every time I come in, they check my rings to make sure the stones are tight, and then clean them so they absolutely sparkle. Give them a try -- I dont think youll be disappointed.

Had a great experience at Village Jewelers today. I brought in my grandfathers old Omega Seamaster watch to have a link removed, as it was a little two big for my wrist. The salesman was kind, prompt, and polite - he removed the link from the band as I requested, and the watch now fits perfectly! I could see what he was doing the whole time - the back of the store is visible through tinted windows, so the watch was never out of my sight - and he zipped the removed link into a small bag for me to keep for the future. Best of all, he did it for no charge. Excellent business that I would definitely go back to.

I took my great fathers Masonic ring into Village Jewelers to be resized. I called around and Village Jewelers had the cheapest price in town. I dropped it off at lunch and picked it up only a few hours later. Not only did they do a great job resizing the ring but they polished it up and made it look like a brand new ring. Village has cheaper prices but do excellent work and had great customer service. After that experience I will never take my jewelry anywhere else.

I rarely write reviews, but Im a sucker for customer service and wanted to share my story: I randomly waltzed into Village Jewelers in hopes of them doing a last minute standard wedding ring cleaning. I was greeted by the most exceptional service. After assessing my rings (and a nice chat), the jeweler Mr. Dobbins (a 30-year veteran of the company) assessed my rings and offered me additional options in platinum/diamond ring cleaning. Needless to say, when I picked them up, I was literally shocked at how stunning they were. I didnt even want to touch them! Thank you Village Jewelers for your expertise and wonderful service! I will start by saying that Joey from Village Jewelers is the most competent and hard working diamond guy that I have met. After searching the greater Nashville area I stumbled across his quaint store and was immediately impressed by his intimate knowledge of not only the stones themselves but of the operations of local and online vendors. It was obvious that he was trustworthy and patient from the beginning to the end of our transaction. I had done a lot of research about diamonds and came to him with very specific requirements for the engagement ring I sought. As a result, we went through many iterations of rejecting diamonds that did not meet my specifications and I even bought one online. However, after I showed Joey the online diamond, he found a better one and beat the online merchant’s price, which I subsequently returned. Village Jeweler’s also had the only setting that I found attractive (it was custom made) to complete the perfect ring. I cannot thank Joey enough for his support and dedication to getting me the product that I wanted and managed to do so under budget. I highly recommend this store for all of your jewelry needs.

My fiancé bought my engagement ring from Village Jewelers. We had never shopped for rings together, so he knew nothing about styles, diamonds, etc. He received exemplary service and the entire staff (including the owner) were extremely helpful and provided very extensive knowledge for him during the process. I absolutely LOVED the ring he picked! After presenting me with the ring, he raved so much about Village Jewelers that I couldnt wait to visit there myself! We recently went again to pick out our wedding bands, and I was so impressed...I finally got to see what he was talking about with my own eyes! I am always a little hesitant walking into a jewelry store. You kinda always worry that you are about to spend a lot of money on something you dont understand. However, I must say that I felt and feel comfortable going into Village Jewelers. In particular, speaking with Joey.I was trying to purchase a wedding band for an engagement ring that I had purchased elsewhere. Joey went beyond the call of duty and followed up over a couple days with different vendors trying to find a good band for the ring. In addition, he was flexible enough to hold a wedding band that they had in the store (our best match) for over a week since I was out of town and couldnt come in. I also appreciated how candid he was with me when we were talking about pricing and how I was really trying to stay within my budget.I will definitely stop by Village Jewelers for any future purchases.

I trusted my gut feelings and instead took my watch to Village Jewelers who I have used for years. They replaced the battery and the watch ran fine. I believe the OTHER jewelry store tried to scam me into a costly repair. I appreciate Village Jewelers.

My watch got damaged at another jewelry store when they tried to open the back to replace the battery, but just scratched up the back instead. Not only did the jeweler at Village Jewelers replace the battery correctly, but he repaired some of the damage and did it all for free! Super nice guy, seems very knowledgeable. I went in to buy a titanium wedding band, since I dont believe that gold is special and am not traditional or superstitious. Immediately, the salesman tried to talk me out of it, to sell me a much more expensive gold band. I had hoped to buy from a local store rather than online, but the salesman kept boasting that he knew I was just there to get a price and size and would buy it online. No matter what I said, they enjoyed sitting back and making assertions and expecting the worst from me. They tried to make me feel afraid of Chinese made rings. I felt like I was in a car dealership.Even if I had gone online, I still wouldve given them a chance to beat the price, *if* they had treated me with respect, because I desperately wanted to buy local. They probably think that the internet is running them out of business, when in reality it is their attitude.The funny thing is that their prices were actually pretty good, based on what I found online, but they wont be making a sale because they were rude and flippant. I ended up going down the street to Natural Selection to buy a titanium band, like I had originally wanted. The price was the same, but the lady who owns that store was friendly and respectful.Village Jewelers has turned me away from their store for a lifetime. I will also tell all of my friends to avoid them at all costs. I had better things to do today than listen to their belligerent fear mongering.

However, after the experience I had with Village Jewelers I felt the need to share.I will start by saying that we visited several other jewelry stores in the Nashville area and on almost all occasions we had fine experiences. Ultimately, though, we were unable to find THE ring. So we chose to have a ring custom made. I made the decision to use Village Jewelers and boy was that a good choice.Joey, our salesperson, made sure to walk me through each and every step of the process. He also made sure that I understood every aspect of those processes. He assured me the ring would turn out to be everything she dreamed of. He promised the highest quality at an unbeatable price. At one point, I believed he even used the phase, “to good to be true. “ It required my trust in Joey and Village Jewelers and they surely did not disappoint.She is 100% happy with the ring and the compliments haven’t stopped since I proposed. Her simple response to HER ring was, “It’s perfect. Every detail of the ring is exactly what I asked for.” The added bonus for me was that it actually came in slightly under budget.Village Jewelers and Joey delivered a quick, easy, low-stress and informative buying experience for me. The ring was actually finished in three weeks after being told it could take as long as 6-8 weeks to custom make initially. Sales rep is arrogant and unqualified. He doesn’t know the difference between lab made diamonds, morganite, and regular diamonds. They try to sell you on designer knock offs. Really shady place, would never buy from them

I have to say that I had high hopes to get my grandfathers watch fixed and my wifes watch fixed at the same time. When I showed the owner my watch, he kinda laughed and said you will have to take this to a store that works on Nixon... We dont do that here. I know its not the nicest watch, but it meant a lot to me.Well he was more than willing to work on my wifes Gucci watch. We just wanted some links taken out. He took it for 3 days, and when we came back, we paid their fees. We tried it on at the store and it fit fine. Then when we got home she tried it on again and one of the links broke in half. We took it back and showed them. He said This is a Gucci problem, not ours. Maybe I got a bad Gucci watch, maybe I got the one $300 watch that was broken from the start. But, I know I had links taken out by them, and then the watch broke, on a link!!! They refused to admit that it was even possible that they could have done it. The said We didnt even touch that part...Lets just say I dont believe them. Hopefully Gucci will replace it.

The staff was extremely rude and borderline degrading. Unless you go in there with the intention or presentation of spending a small fortune, they make you feel cheap and inadequate. I went in with an inquiry on a custom piece, and having a girlfriend who is adamant about not spending a lot of money or getting the most rare gem on earth, I gave them my honest price range and her desire in stones. They didnt just give me details on the quality of the stones, but basically mocked it and made me feel as if it was joke to walk into their store. Being military, Im no stranger to verbal mockery and degradation. However, this store did a great job in that effort, and I wouldnt be writing this review is it wasnt necessary based off such a terrible experience. I would implore people to go elsewhere, this store doesnt deserve business even based on my one, short experience.

You will truly feel like family!!!! I visited several jewelers in the Nashville area over a course of a few months. The task....to reset stones from three rings that belonged to my husband’s mom and grandmother, very sentimental pieces, not big stones, but sentimental. It took Joey and Mr. Khoury less than five minutes to give us the confidence and a comfort level that we had not experienced other places. The expertise, care and concern given to us was second to none. Mr. Khoury and Joey invested a tremendous amount of time, they did not rush us. Before I left that day, not only did Mr. Khoury design a beautiful piece, but Joey also offered to clean my necklace pendants, at no charge. When I returned to pick up the finished ring it took my breath away. The quality of workman ship is exquisite, attention to detail is impeccable and their customer care is unmatched. They resized the ring I had been wearing on my left hand to fit the right at no extra charge along with an appraisal. Joey’s enthusiasm is unsurpassed and you wont find his energy and eagerness at any other Jeweler in town. I won’t go anywhere else but Village Jewelers.

My fiancé proposed with his grandmothers ring which was made by his great grandfather. The ring needed to be resized but we also decided to get the ring appraised as we had no idea of its worth. We were a little worried that the original inscriptions inside the ring would be cut off when resized and were also worried about how the ring would be handled etc etc. We were very impressed with Village Jewelers as not only did they manage to retain the original inscriptions inside the ring when they resized but they also gave it a professional clean AND gave us a great discount for when we buy our wedding bands. The guy (Joey) then proceeded to tell us how to get a greater discount on our already discounted wedding bands by using yelp. I LOVE THIS GUY!... obviously not as much as my fiancé. The staff at Village Jewelers are professional, knowledgeable and helpful. They are really out there to help the customer. I highly recommend this place.
