Thoughtfully crafted plates with a trendy, chic modern cafe type vibe. Impressed with the brunch and lunch menu— this is a Nashville brunch must imo. I had the Egg Bowl which is apparently a bestseller and I can see why! Delicious (though personally I could have gone for a dash or two of coarse sea salt on it—super small preference thing).Make a reservation though as it’s rather small and so popular.
Amazing place for a brunch! Cappuccino was awesome, my Roze bowl with salmon as well. I would definitely come back for this bowl. My bf ordered smashed burger which was pretty good and juicy, but nothing special and not big enough if you are hungry man:-))) all in all, very European-style café, i will definitely come over when in Nashville
My friends and I had brunch here on Sunday. I would highly recommend getting a reservation as we had to waited 30min for table for 3. The interior was pleasantly modern and minimal. We were seated outside at one of the two outdoor tables.Service was fast and friendly.I ordered the Roze Latte, which was cute to look at, but I did not like how it tasted. The rose taste was too strong and gave the drink more of a essential oils effect, where it smelled better than it tasted. The overall flavor was floral, not coffee or milk. I also ordered the Simple Breakfast with eggs done sunnyside up. It was simple and delicious and all elements on the plate were cooked well with complimentary textures. The garnish of 2 sprouts on the eggs seemed superfluous. My friend ordered the Stout Waffles which she enjoyed, esp. the mascarpone.
Very unique and fresh menu. The fresh squeezed cocktails are amazing and I highly recommend the chicken sandwich at lunch. Servers are always welcoming and not pushy with QR code usage. You’ll get an actual menu if asked.
My first time here and I loved it!!! Great vibes/decor and I loved how quirky the menu was. I’m basic so I ordered the egg sandwich, but it was amazing especially with the tomato jam; I can’t decide if I liked that or my Roze latte more! Awesome service too :) 10/10 would recommend if you need a good brunch spot!
So many great items to choose from. Get there early before they sell out of things. Nice ambiance inside the restaraunt, lovely staff, bathrooms are interesting... mens room users will figure that out later, lol.Nothing but good times and great food here.
The staff was great and the cocktails were enjoyable, but I thought the food was not competitive with other local restaurants at the same price point. While the menu had great concepts, the dishes execution was a tad disappointing. I think its worth a visit, but Id temper expectations. Im erring on the side of four stars, rather than three. This review is regarding dinner service.
Went for dinner a month ago with my mother-in-law and partner. The aesthetic is so cute!! Like something out of a dream! The food was really tasty! Staff was kind and suggested delicious items. Definitely try the hot tea! So good!!
This was Amazing! I would totally recommend this place! Staff also held a high Standard of service. VERY friendly.
Lovely restaurant and cafe that is worth visiting. We celebrated a birthday dinner with beverages and dinner. Reservations are recommended especially if you have a large party. The food was nice and there are a number of vegetarian friendly options. There was a great ambience that made dinner fantastic and the service was pretty on point.
Such a great neighborhood restaurant. Cute restaurant with great staff. We enjoyed all of our food, cant wait to go back.
A wonderful experience. Great BLT, and you get to have a cocktail with it!
Very trendy & Instagrammable spot in East. Reservations are a must - particularly for brunch! I found the service lacking and the prices more suited to LA than Nashville. Food and coffee were solid, but the whole place is sort of lacking the “local” feel. I was underwhelmed. But the pics are gorgeous!
The service was so amazing and the food was so delicious! To anyone who is close to this restaurant, give it a try! You will definitely go back!!!
My friend and I are from IL. We stopped here on vacation. We ordered a smash burger and fries and a grass fed burger and side salad. Everything was delicious! Would recommend!
I went to brunch at Cafe Roze for my birthday. They do not take reservations for brunch but failed to tell me on the phone that they won’t seat you unless your whole party is there. I got there 30 mins early to wait and it didn’t make a difference.Loved the interior with the pink and the marble. More on the expensive side and the food is good but not as good as I wanted it to be. Still had a great time.
I can’t overstate how great this neighborhood spot is! From the drinks to the food to the service, everything is always outstanding. We come here at least once a week and have never been disappointed! Garrett is the best bartender in town!P.S. You have to try the Pistola Cocktail!
Absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in everyone was kind and friendly, acknowledging us immediately. The food was incredible. It was not only delicious but the presentation was on point. The atmosphere is cute and comfy. The service was great! I’m in love with this place and would definitely come back. 10 out of 10!
Pretty place with uncomfortably curved bench seating. The food is so-so. My burger was small…think McDouble only less flavorful. I wish I had better things to say for this $17 burger. The service was good. Oh, well.
Cute place! Food was pretty good. I would love to see them go towards fresh baked rolls and breads for their sandwiches. I got a chicken sandwich, the chicken was good but the store bought generic hamburger bun it came on was a bit stale and disapointing. It would have been 10/10 if the bread was better. I thought I saw fresh crosaunts? That would be awesome for that sandwich.
My husband and I wanted to find a local business on our weekend travels. We came across this lovely, unique place. The food and service was fabulous! We highly recommend you give this a place a try!
I actually like the fact that service is included here. Just make sure you pay attention to that as it’s not made obvious by the servers. Easy simple fare in a trendy hipster vibe
Love this spot.great location for bopping around after . Great food, very nice staff and good coffee. Been in the city 4 days and been here twice .I’ll miss ya 🤍
One of my favorite spots in Nashville! Great food, great drinks (their coffee and cocktails!) My favorite menu items for breakfast/brunch: the avocado hummus toast, the stout waffles, and the roze bowl. For their cocktails: the gateway and the melon drama. For dinner: steak frites and their burger! Their French fries are a must too, no matter what time of day!
I don’t think I’ve ever written a review before. Never planned on it. But this smashburger needs to be known. Two patties cooked to perfection, coated with the perfect combination of melted cheddar, what seemed to be house pickled thinly sliced pickles on each side and ever so slight touch of onion, all brought together by their home made smash sauce and two slices of soft, warm, and buttery potato bun. A true gift from God himself. Go.. go now! Go order this burger and applaud the chef on your way out. Well done Chef!
This review is about a service experience at Cafe Roze. I reside in Nashville and live within 5 minutes of the place. I have personally supported the restaurant since their opening a few years ago and would venture to say it’s one of my favorite places in Nashville. Yesterday, one of my friends came to town and we wanted a cocktail or two. We were told there was no availability at the bar because of social distancing (there was clearly enough space at the bar for two additional guests still allowing for social distancing) and our server (Jordan) even asked the manager (Eric) twice when I pressed. It was 46 degrees and the place was fairly empty but we were told if we wanted a cocktail our only option was to sit outside. We did, and within 5 minutes of receiving our drinks, two ladies walked in and were sat at the bar. We inquired about it with Jordan and he apologized saying he didn’t understand why they were seated there but the manager never came to our table. What was going to be cocktails and appetizers turned into one cocktail; not that they are suffering for money or would read this review but still. Not a good look for them and will be a while before I return. Hipster place that may be drinking their own kool-aid a bit too hard.
A unique experience. Great food airh an extensive selection. The reason only a 4 star is that the girl waiting on us really needs to pay attention to her tables.
Asked for my tea twice. The food came first. Guy making drinks served my tea after the to go orders came in. Good food. Weak service skills. Overpriced.
Good food. Quick, welcoming, friendly, and helpful service. Restaurant can get noisy. Tables/seating is a bit cramped. There is no dedicated parking lot for the restaurant, so if you drive in parking might be an issue depending upon the day/time of your visit. We spent about $45 prior to tip for breakfast for two, I had the waffles and my wife an egg dish and fries (we wish they had hash browns). We each also had a coffee drink. All were very good. We will probably be back.
I wish I could say the food was great but my party of 3 never sat down. We walked in to a 45 min wait with several tables still open. Was not greeted or asked for our name. We then watched as another couple sat down in front of us. We continued to wait until a table was clear and when it finally was it was for a “reservation.”
Looked like it had potential but the host turned me away, stating that we dont do that here when i said i was looking to have coffee and read. Perplexing to get turned away from coffee and lunch at a cafe. It looks like the other customers were enjoying themselves, but in this instance, Cafe Roze was not welcoming.
One of the best. this place is classing up nashville!
8/10 would not recommend. Sure the place is cute, but the coffee was bleh and they charged $1 for adding vanilla flavoring to a latte which I feel is a rip off. The staff was not very welcoming
The bartender made wonderful mocktails (my favorite part of the evening) and the ambiance was low key and cavernous - dim lighting. The food is pretty good. I definitely recommend the avocado hummus and the dinner bowl but the salads are mediocre.
Im on vacation so I heard this was a good place to eat and I could bring my dog, so I did that and I walked maybe a mile .. I sat down outside .. table was very dirty .. an employee walked right past me, didn’t acknowledge me. So I sat a bit longer ..nothing happened, table still even didn’t get cleared. Walked a mile back home. Very unfortunate.
DELICIOUS!! We werent thinking ahead and didnt make reservations for Sunday morning during COVID. We quickly found out we wouldnt be able to get a table for hours but the staff was so sweet about it and helped us put in a to go order for food and drinks! They were so kind and helpful and checked on us multiple times while we waited for food. Everything was perfect. We took our to go food back to our hotel pool and we were so impressed! Everything was delicious and well made. The broccoli melt was my favorite! These people pay attention to detail and you can tell from your experience interacting with them and taste it in every bite! I will be back!
Lovely place with friendly staff. Dont pass up the pork schnitzel!
Very interesting experience. Have never had a salad with breakfast before, but it worked. Bread was really fresh, egg and bacon were perfect. Menu is a little eclectic, so look at it online before coming $11.00 for an egg sandwich is a little on the high side, but it was good. Something different, the check comes with a postcard.
Been in Nashville for 3 days and gone to Cafe Roze twice. If you’re in East Nashville and looking for a great breakfast, brunch or lunch spot, this is it. I’ve tried four different meals here and all have been delicious in their own unique way.The Country Eggs and Ham is creamy scrambled eggs, served on a soft piece of sourdough. It’s topped off with thin slices of delicious ham and a mountain of shredded Parmesan. The Savory Oatmeal has to be my favorite of all the meals. I don’t know what they do with the oats, but they’re so flavorful and topped with mustard greens, mushrooms and a poached egg.The trout toast is another delicious slice of bread with a mountain of yummy trout on top. The lemon zest and radishes finish it off nicely. Finally the Roze Bowl, with beet tahini, beets, grilled zucchini, kale with quinoa and lentils if perfect if you’re looking for something a little lighter. Would recommend adding salmon or chicken if you’re hungry. The coffee is Revelator, and a perfect compliment to your breakfast. I’d either go with the drip or a Cortado.
Bright, vibrant breakfast & brunch spot! The design and decor are fresh and clean - almost Swedish. I’m a harsh critic of Bloody Marys, and love their rich, chunky, balanced approached. Fluffy eggs, crispy thick back, great drink coffee and quality service. The place does get a bit loud when busy, but I’ll certainly return.
I was visiting Nashville for my birthday and came across this beautiful small coffee shop. I got their rose latte. It was delicious. It was refreshing had little fried rose petals in it.
The food was great and the vibe was immaculate!
Had to write a review after my experience tonight. I’ve been ordering food here for a couple of years. But tonight the “smashburger” I received for my delivery order was without a doubt the best burger I’ve ever had in Nashville. Their meat is always fresh, veggies are always fresh, also have great fries. The sauce on this burger and the pickles are out of this world. Whoever selected the cheese they put on this also deserves high praise as it’s flavor is a perfect match for the meat. Love this place, keep up the good work
The service here is wonderful; attentive waitstaff and super helpful/knowledgeable about the menu offerings. Food was amazing! My friend cleared her plate and the only reason I didn’t was because the serving was enormous. There are three other things I am desperate to try. Will be back very soon!
Loved the Roze Latte with oat milk! Swift and friendly service! Looking forward to trying their menu on my next visit!
Really enjoyed a quick brunch here while passing through town!
Oh my, so sweet and wonderful service. We will be back !!!
Excellent food and service
Such a nice find while traveling. Decided to come here based on the menu I found online and I wasnt disappointed. I had the Turmeric cooler to drink which was refreshing. For an appetizer I tried the Chile Eggplant which had great flavor and for dinner I had the Dinner bowl which is a great mix of veggies, black rice and curry broth. I loved the mix of flavors and textures. Left with a full belly and very satisfied. Nice atmosphere and attentive, welcoming service. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
We were visiting from out of town Googled places Our meals were good tasty
Fantastic food and drinks with immaculate vibes and tasteful queer energy.
Very nice place with awesome food. We had a breakfast there. Coconut yogurt with fruits and granola - one love! We also had egg bowl and ham and egg toast were also sooo good. Now, the place is in my TOP breakfast places in The USA.
Great spot, we stopped in for breakfast which was really great. And the coffee was excellent.
Great food service and vibe!
I went here with my girlfriend for some breakfast as she was showing me the eats around town, but a couple of things about Cafe Roze just felt a bit odd to me.For one, we were seated but we were told that we would have to leave before 11:00 A.M. as we didnt have a reservation. No problem to us as long as we were served quickly. However, multiple other parties who were seated without a reservation were not told they had to leave before a certain time. It left a bitter taste in our mouths.Secondly, and I think this was a genuine mistake but it led to much embarrassment for me, my phone disappeared early on while we were waiting for our meal. Im not the type to check my phone while eating so I didnt realize this until right before we drove off. As it turned out, someone from the restaurant mistakenly took my phone assuming the previous patron had left it there. I have never experienced this and it left a sour taste on my tongue. The food itself was good, albeit overpriced. Though in context, eclectic restaurants like this are all about quality food and presentation over content. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was definitely satisfying all things considered. In summary, Cafe Roze is a nice spot if youre looking for something trendy, Instagramable, and healthy, but my personal experience was negative and soured its reputation for me.
Food was great, service was quick, would definitely go back
Unique menu and fair prices. Staff was nice and place was clean. It reminds me if some of the great neighborhood spots in Seattle and Portland.
Came for brunch with a friend and was not disappointed. We both had black sesame steamers which were delicious. I had the savory oats and she had the egg bowl. Both were yummy. The savory oats are quite salty but enjoyed them nonetheless. Would definitely come back.
I had an amazing toast with prosciutto and cheese. Can’t wait to visit again!
The egg sandwich was delicious
Interesting with great service.
One of our favorite places in town.
Excellent place for brunch, dine or even a simple coffee. Great lighting an vibe when you go in and if you want to work they have pretty decent complementary wifi.
Charming atmosphere, delicious coffee, beautiful delicious and healthy food options. Met a dear friend here for lunch on my visit to Nashville in February. I ordered the smoked trout toast and french fries it was a gorgeous presentation a sooo yummy.
