They are very considerate, it’s rare to go into a shop and they help you with advice to save more money then to spend. They do there best with what you want, Highly recommend.They even recommend you to other places in case they don’t do certain services, honest and speak well on other shops. Very professional I’ve been to yet!

We were on vacation in Silver Lake when my wifes car had the water pump go out. We were supposed to be going home to St. Louis in 3 days. No one in the vicinity could even look at the car for a week or more. Luckily I found Justin and his team who were able to look at it the next day if I could get it towed down to the, (40 miles away). After diagnosing a major repair, they initially said they wouldnt be able to get to it for a week or so. Luckily, one of their technicians was willing to come in on a Saturday when they are normally closed to do the repair for us and make it so we could get home on time. Saved us so much $ and hassle. The work was great and the car hasnt run better in years! Great job.

I brought my car in recently to have a possible oil leak and suspected hole in the exhaust system located. As always, I was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff in front and grateful for the shuttle service. In addition, I appreciate their integrity. After doing a thorough search they told me no oil leak was found, so I would just owe for the test. They found a couple other problems but said I could wait a few more months on them. That kind of honesty builds customer trust! They even cleaned out some animal nesting that was spotted near the engine. I’ll definitely come back to Muskegon Brake & Repair in a few months when it’s time to take care of those other repairs!

Bought tires from Muskegon Break back in the summer of 2019. I had a flat last week. They looked up my tire, and got a new one ordered in just a few minutes. I had road hazard on my tires so it paid for part of the new tire. I got the flat on the Friday of a holiday weekend and I had a new tire on by Tuesday. I couldnt be more happy!!

Brought my 2005 honda accord in due to a bad shake in my steering wheel. Tires were rotated and balanced also performed an alignment. While they were at it they let me know I needed to replace my brakes and recommended I replace my struts if I plan to keep my vehicle for a while. Extremely helpful, and my car is going down the road much better! Definitely recommend, honest service at a good price!

I came in for a slow leak on my tire with a nail in it the service was quick employees were professional all around great company in my eyes.

Good honest people. Took a vehicle to them with a break problem. That looked at it and send me to a dealership that had not taken car of a recall correctly. They could have taken my money and fixed it. $000 out of pocket and dealership got caught with there pants down so to speak.

While busy, they took time to install wiper blades for my wife who recently had hand surgery. They squeezed her repair in a d had her in her way quickly. She said they were very polite, helpful and professional. Well go back when we need tires soon.

What I liked most about my experience is that I had an appointment for new tires installed at 10am. and they started working on it as soon as I came in. Just a few days previous, I had an appointment for a tire rotation at one of their competitors at 11am by the mall on Harvey, they didnt even take my car in until 11:45. They know how to make appointments, but not keep them. They lost my business. I will definitely do business again at Muskegon tire and brake again. Thank you

The best place to go if you have car troubles. They were super helpful in diagnosing my problem and fixed it quickly. The staff have great communication with their customers and watch out for you. They make sure youre getting the best deal out there and keep you informed. They sent pictures of what they were doing. They communicate electronically and they have a system set up so that you approve each fix needed.

I took my car to get a 4 wheel alignment. In the process they found some sway bar issues that I agreed to let them fix for an extra $205. During the process of this repair I had a brake line rupture and they wanted to charge me another $150. Call me crazy but I didn’t feel like that broken brake line was my fault. I didn’t have the money to pay for them to fix it so they let me take my car out of the shop with the brakes to the floor. So they chose an extra $150 over my safety and they’re reputation so here I am. Would not recommend! But they did give me some brake fluid to put in my damaged system that got damaged in they’re care how nice of them! What a joke! If there was a zero star option I would have chosen that!To the owner’s reply I didn’t leave my car because I didn’t have the money I don’t feel I should’ve had to pay it was not busted when I brought it to you is my point but I’m supposed to take your word for it yeah ok let us just be thankful that you all work on cars and not hearts I doubt a doctor would leave a aortic valve broken if it busted because he’s working on another part of the heart smh I don’t care how nice a review or bad I’m speaking on my experience and it wasn’t good period like I said all the money I spent I should have not have to roll outta there like that but it’s fixed now so all is well I just wanted to reply to whoever replied now have the most amazing day

Staff was really friendly and honest and customized the service for what I actually needed for my car. Jenny was really kind and walked me through the whole process and Andrew and everyone did great work. I went in thinking that I needed to replace 2-4 tires and found that I only needed to re-seal them, which saved me a ton of money. When Muskegon Brake tells you to arrive at 9 am, that is when they will begin working on your vehicle. They went above and beyond to ensure my vehicle had the correct snow tires and installed them in less than 90 minutes. 5 stars is not enough. They deserved 10.

They did an excellent job in fixing my car and they did it in a timely manner what I didn’t like is I received a phone call early in the morning asking me to clean my battery post for almost $24 I was half sleep and said yes but I could clean my own battery post and I think that’s a one-way that shops plays on people $24 to clean battery posts I thought that was a little ridiculous but overall they did a good job at a good price On fixing my car

I was upset with this place because I needed a couple tires patched and the guy told me what time they open and I was there the next morning and it was closed so I called the guy and he said he got busy with something else. Oh well they lost business!

I later took my sons newly purchased used vehicle to them, they inspected it thoroughly and Steve was wonderful about emailing me estimates and explaining what is of the utmost importance to fix for safety. That for me, being the mom, was fantastic. The shuttle service was great, while the car was there, I did not miss any work, in fact I was shuttled by the owner, now that is customer service at its highest!
