One of the best pour over (and I am comparing to SF places such as ritual, four barrel, andy town...) with definitely the best pecan muffin i ever had!

A very endearing place, part coffee/tea house and part yoga studio. On the coffee front they do a range of excellent pour overs, though no lattes. Really great tea selection, and you can purchase some home too. The peaceful little courtyard up front is super charming.

Good coffee, locally roasted and a variety of teas. A cozy place along the bike pedestrian trail, away from the busy street of cannery row.I wish they have more than just coffee and teas.It would be great if they have good muffins, paninis or sandwiches.Slow drip coffees are great but if you like it very hot, by the time you get it, its not that hot anymore.

What a hidden gem! Located in the walking trail between Wave Street and Cannery Row, we found a quaint little spot that served delicious pour over coffee and various teas. They also served gluten free treats that were fresh and delicious. The owner was very welcoming and the server was also very helpful in guiding us on what to order. No only did we get delicious coffee, tea, and treats but we also got a little tour of his studio. Lastly there is actually heated concrete seating that kept us warm while enjoying the serene atmosphere of the patio and fish pond. We will definitely stop by again the next time we visit Monterey.

What an amazing hidden gem! Wide variety of loose leaf tea and a free coffee options too. There are also some vegan cookies and organic snacks too. Patio is VERY relaxing with a small fountain with fish. Really takes you away from the crazy tourist area only a block away.

Unbelievably cute coffee and tea shop owned by a father and son. They are very passionate about tea! Lovely outdoor patio and excellent vibes overall. Make sure to stop by if you finished the aquarium or are just visiting in general in Pacific Grove.

I love ambience, and this spot is impeccable for not only its ambience, but the studio set up for helping artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, alternative health practitioners, business owners (you name it) record and promote content AND their coffee (Im a dark roast kinda guy) tastes fn great.I actually started a mastermind group that meets here because of how peaceful it feels, the heated concrete bench and bar (inside the studio), friendly staff, good coffee and the owner is just an all around good dude.

Two words: Heated bench. Good coffee and perfect place to chill for a bit and take in the scenery. The staff are cool and the snacks are decent. It is a bit hidden away but if you find it, its a great place to relax and have a lazy morning.

Friends and I go here almost every week. They have the best gluten free muffins, cookies, and other light snacks Ive tried. The coffee is wonderful! Their tea selection is top notch. The atmosphere is delightful and you cant beat the heated seat on a chilly morning. Absolutely my favorite coffee shop in Monterey!

Block from the aquarium and has coffee and great ice cream. What more could you want.

Coffee was wateryThey only do pour overs here because of some legal water rights. That sounds cool since pour overs usually make the best coffee, & I don’t mind treating my self to a pour over every once in a while. However if I’m going to pay more I expect the coffee to be really good. It wasn’t strong at all. My friend got a small size & it was a little stronger. Maybe the problem was that I got a larger size.The staff is cool though, they have WARMED seating outside (pretty cool) & it’s literally a studio. You can explore around & see their cameras, & there is seating in the recording room. That aspect of this coffee shop was pretty cool.

Fantastic, fresh gluten free, vegan treats, and definitely not just for vegans or gluten free eaters :) The almond biscotti were out of this world. Cute little spot as well, just steps from busy Cannery Row

Absolutely amazing coffee/tea shop in Monterey. Low key and small. Owners are very courteous and welcoming and the whole shop/area has a very nice vibe!! I got the white tip jasmine tea and would suggest if you like that kind of tea, otherwise try asking about interesting sounding ones!Update to add: owners I assume! are very kind and sweet - Id really suggest getting some tea while youre there + enjoying the space! Try looking into different flavors, theres quite a few, and the coffee there is local according to them :D

Relaxing and be peaceful place to enjoy a pour over of local Acme coffee and or a hot tea from a great organic selection. Did I mention they have an awesome heated bench to keep you warmed up! Highly recommended!

What a pleasant surprise to have found this cafe riding our bikes along the Monterey coast. Best pour over coffee and treats that way exceeded my expectations. Staff was super friendly. The zen decor and heated seating is fabulous. Can’t recommend this cafe enough.

Friendly welcome and lovely quiet garden right by the Aquarium. Rare to find a place doing great pourover coffee and no espresso-based options! We had a Power Glide and a 90 Weight and both were really light and tasty. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We were not feeling well and they helped us pick out a tea to ease our symptoms. Yeah for throat soother tea!

I’m always a fan of supporting small businesses. The barista was very nice, and the selection of coffees and teas were excellent. If I ever return to Cannery Road, I’m definitely hitting up this place! 👍

Wow! What a gem for Cannery Row.

This cafes pour over coffee is certainly one of the best I have ever had. The outside environment is very inviting and can provide a quiet and relaxing feel compared to the rest of the city. The bariatas are very friendly and knowledgeable on what they are serving. I am counting down days until I return to Monterey for this coffee.

With 100% certainty the best coffee Ive had in the US, plus an extremely comfortable and quiet coffee spot in the middle of a busy part in Monterey. Topping it off with the fun and inspiring conversation with the owner, I would totally recommend anyone visiting this place when in the neighbourhood! (and Ill try to grow the plant from the seeds of the fruit, which turned out to be a Pepino!)

I was looking forward to the excellent service all the reviews raves about but the cashier had me serve myself when I ordered a muffin (gave me napkin and plate and told me to get it myself, I had no idea where to put the huge glass top since there were no room other than right in front of her on the counter). Before I realized that and was waiting for her to pass my muffin, she just looks pass me and started asking the next guest what she wanted. I had to clarify that I was waiting for the muffin I ordered them she told me I can get it myself.Was she pissed that I didn’t enter tip in the paying pad, because I prefer giving cash for tip and her attitude definitely didn’t encourage the tip. Or maybe she just doesn’t like Asian? I don’t know but whatever it was I didn’t received the raved review on this location. Maybe you’ll have better luck.
