This was the worst experience I have ever had at a optometrist. It was via Skype or something the lady wasnt even there. She spent a total of 5 mins. My prescription changed 1.5 on each eye. Ive had the same prescription since I was the age of 3 years old Im 35. I would not sent my worst enemy to this place. Avoid at all cost.

I purchased two pair of glasses. I had to turn one in for a warranty repair. My eyeglasses were lost. I was told another pair was ordered. This was after I waited two weeks for the initial repair. Ok I waited another 2 weeks. Went to pick them up... WRONG eyeglasses. I was told the correct pair was ordered waited another 2 weeks...guess what wrong glasses AGAIN. I was however compensated with a top of the line pair with all the bells and whistles that’s all and good. But I made every phone call concerning this matter not one call was returned nor was an email answered. I now have three pair of the exact same glasses that are useless to me because they are heavy and where only meant to be worn for a short period of time. Miriam was great and understanding had it not been for her I would have never got this situation somewhat settled. I appreciate her helping me however I still very unhappy with the store as a whole . I am now waiting another 3 weeks for eyeglasses. Just very unhappy with the lack of concern that was shown by the manager he never returned one phone call. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had and sadly I am a new customer that will not be returning .When my glasses finally come in it will have been almost three months I have gone through this nightmare.

After two eye exams I am still left wondering if something is wrong with my eye or their exam process. The zoom meeting protocol is not only very impersonal but easy to miscommunicate during as they seem to be in a rush.Many times I was asked to read the same line at different strengths, after the first time you are able to infer the line, especially when you can see between lens changes. This didnt seem to line up with any of my past eye exams. I am very dissatisfied having to do two exams and still ending up with a poor prescription.

Easy to get to and affordable to boot. The staff was super helpful. If you need glasses or contacts this is a great option.

Poor customer service from start to finish.

DONT GO TO THIS BUSINESS.... made a eye exam appointment.... and was told $45.00 for exam.. went to my appointment and it wasn’t I was told it was $95.00for exam only... treat extremely rude and DIDNT seem to care about my complaint... young employees with zero people skills... and apparently they don’t know how to schedule appointment either... this place is a scam... and I’m so disappointed in the manner I was treated... if I could it would have negative stars...

I came in with my prescription and wanted new glasses, when they came in I expected to be fitted and adjusted to my face and all they did was had me sign for them and told good bye. No offers to adjust them or any mention of assistance if I have any problems with the glasses.

Got my eyes checked in September. They gave me the wrong prescription, billed my insurance incorrectly and then did not properly teach me how to do proper insertion and removal with my contacts. They also said I could just get more contacts at any time when in fact I had to order them Unprofessional and very unimformative.

This lab is ran by 2 high school kids, cant be older then 16!They do video exams and they dont tell you that they can only do easy prescriptions, not any thing that could take a grown-up to do.They charge the fee upfront, that way they keep your money even if the cant do your prescription.First time at this place, I wouldnt recommend anyone, not even as a joke!

This place is awesome 👌🏾. My appointment got rescheduled due to the equipment going down. The lovely office staff compensated me for the inconvenience. Even helped me change the color or my shades when I didnt like the first color. The customer service experience is quite luxury.

Got my eye exam at the Mesquite location. They gave the wrong prescription. Terrible customer service in Mesquite. The guy that works there lacks professionalism. I had to go to the Rockwall location to get it corrected. Waste of time.

Avoid this place at all cost. I called and verified they took my insurance and made an appointment. I get onsite at 9am for my 9:10am appointment for an exam and they arent open. 9:15 still not open. 9:17 a car pulls up two people get out, one has a white lab jackets balled up in his hand. First though oh no. Then I find out once inside they dont take my insurance, in a very rude tone tells me its really easy to remember we only take 2 different insurances. I was like then cant someone that works here remember that information. Then the kid with the jacket balled up in his hand is doing the exam. I asked was he an Optometrist, he says no I actually only do part of the exam. We take images and send to one but, we can refer if you want one. I promptly walked out. They didnt even sanitize themselves before starting to help customers, things get missed when youre late for work. Many things missed here. People if you value your eyes stay clear of this place.

Great customers service when I called to ask if they accepted my insurance. The guy was very nice and Said they did take my insurance, made my appointment for the same day which was amazing. I drive 30 mins to get there and the girls working there tell me they don’t accept my insurance plan... needless to say I was beyond upset! No apologies no nothing!

Not a great selection of frames to choose from. Pricey. Advertising is misleading. Customer service was good.

Called and made appointments for my wife and I. Arrived and waited in our car till the appointed time. When we went to the door we were told that our appointment was made with Corporate and she hasn’t answered any calls. She said she is by herself and she isn’t taking anymore people. 1PM in the afternoon. Look in the window, store is empty. Don’t waste your time. Customer service is dead here. If this is how they handle appointments I certainly don’t want them handling my Eye care!!!! One star cause I can’t give them less.

I appreciated the professionalism of the staff and doctor who did the exam. Everyone was super friendly and attentive! I was quoted up to 14 days, but received them both within 8. Took nearly 40 minutes of holding to finally get someone on the line. Then when someone finally did answer she said hold again because I wasnt in the correct department before even asking me the reason for my call. Just for the representative to give supposedly the direct number to the location for me to hang up and call the number she gave me and have it go directly to vm. Terrible customer service. Never going back here or do business with this brand again. Beware.

Ive tried calling the past few months to get a copy of my daughters prescription. Each time they say they will email it and after days of waiting....nothing. Past few times I have called to speak to customer service I have been on hold forever and no one picks up the phone.Currently sitting at 18 minutes on hold for todays phone call and still no one has picked up.Edit: After 30 minutes someone picked up, but it wasnt the Mesquite store it was corporate. Finally almost an hour in I was finally forwarded to the store, where they said I should receive the prescription in 20 minutes. They also gave their actual number so I can reach them. Please do everyone a favor and just list the correct number on here!

I will never come here again! I’m not type to write reviews complaining because it’s not necessary but I have been wearing glasses since I was kid and never did I wait over a month to get my lenses prescribed! The website provides different info, you call the customer service line you’ll get different info, and the employee at the actual building will provide different info. False advertisement on the website!! And top that off, it was expensive. I’m really upset, people who need their glasses to see can understand my frustration ..

I ordered contacts from MyEyelab 6/18/2020. I was told they would be ready for pickup in a week which is the norm, I have been wearing contacts for years.I called MyEyelab 7/6/2020 almost three weeks later to get an order status update. I was told my contacts would be ready the next day 7/7/2020. Well surprisingly they were not. 7/14/2020 almost a month after my order still no contacts. The status online always says the same thing your order is in review At this point I have to go somewhere else to get my contacts and work with my bank to get this charge reversed.Please dont waste your time going to this place. Buckner Vision is a good alternative if you dont have insurance.

Very good customer service, fast and nice environment

What place takes 1 month for trial pair contacts and they never have a front office person to help you. Every time I went I’m waiting until someone finally helps you after 15 minutes of just standing there. On top of that I wasted my time going in to the store to pick up my so called ready contacts, for them to tell me I only have one contact in which is the right eye. This is the worst place literally to get glasses, exam and contacts, I would never recommended anyone here. I will say I will never come back here and I will return to America’s Best way better customer service and selection.

Terrible experience and a total scam. I went to get an eye examination, but there was no actual physician. The physician was a man on a screen. There was no actual doctor to take my examination, it was a simulation rather than an actual examination. After the examination I was given a FALSE and INACCURATE prescription. Eyelab stated my contact lens were different for each eye, which was not true. I went over to Americas Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, and got another examination. Unlike Eyelab there was an actual physician and they stated that my contact prescription were the same for both eyes. I requested a refund from Eyelab but they refuse even though there was no actual physician to take my examination and the inaccurate results. Eyelab is a scam, so please dont waste your time and money on poor service and inaccurate prescriptions.If I could I would definitely leave 0 stars.

They are horrible. Give you the run around. Wrong prescription. No one contacts you and lets you know nothing. Still waiting on glasses from May to be fulfilled. Please do not go to them.

OMG WHERE DO I START. This place is AMAZING! The staff is WONDERFUL and very friendly! They helped me pick out the glasses I wanted and even have great rates! On top of that, the glasses came within 7 days and I LOVED THEM! I payed $140 for 2 pairs! I will definitely be coming back and recommending a lot of people come to this business. Go some place else where the price actually reflects what you get. This place is absolutely horrible. If you think your going in for their “deal” its not the case. We ended up paying over $200 for 2 cheap pairs of glasses. The “warranty” just covers 80% and you have to pay the rest. I would recommend Americas Best they actually stand behind the warranty and have a much nicer flow/set up. I was even told by one of the employees/friend how expensive it would actually come out in the end and I wish I had listened to them. The selection is trash as well.

I will start off by saying the only reason I gave one star is because the system forces me too and the choices of frames in the store were good.In a nice way I will say, STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!! for eye exams. Their choice of frames and lenses are good and fairly priced. We had our eyes examined only to find out the outcome was totally wrong. We, my wife and I, spent nearly $1,000 on exams and glasses, only to find out the exam was done incorrectly.The exam is performed by someone who is on a TV in another location and is just following a script. My wife told them and they did not account for her astigmatism so her prescription was totally off. My prescription was totally off as well because the doctor was working on getting to the next patient and just going through the motions.My wife and I finally went to a true eye doctor and had our eyes examined properly, were given an updated and proper prescription and had to buy new glasses. We had to spend an additional $1,000 on frames, lenses and, eye exam.Dont fall for the $59 cheap price from any eye center, go to a real Dr. and have it done right.

Horrible experience, don’t recommend! Had to have my daughter tested twice due to the wrong prescription. Also there is no ophthalmologist on site, only online type. We ended up going elsewhere and getting a new prescription.
