This place never answers their phone. Never can get through with anyone. How hard is to answer a call, and kindly place them on hold if you absolutely can not attend to them at that moment? Answer the phone. I got questions.
Personnel were friendly on the telephone answering questions about tires and the pros and cons of different brands of tires. Also great at getting appointment set for service. I was in and out in approximately 2 hours.
Saturday April 10 at 10am. It was not like it used to be. You could walk in, get waited upon, and out within an hour and a half. Now, you cant get waited on. When I walked in, 3 sales people were huddled on a computer talking about something. Although, I didnt have an appointment. I was a walk in. There was no one in front of me. The guy finally asked me can I help you. I asked if I could get an oil change. He gave me this long drawn out speech, we can do an oil change but it will take all day. We ask that you leave the vehicle and come back before closing to pick it up because we may have to go pick up some vehicles somewhere, we never know. Customers get upset when they have been sitting for a while after we have told them what may happen.it is not our fault. That is just the way it is now. We havent had to go today to pick up vehicles so far but you can wait or leave it here. It is up to you. He kept repeating that story. There was like 3 cars ahead of me. I needed an oil change and I didnt have anyone to call to pick me up. I said it was fine. So, I waited. I had already been sitting there for 2 1/2 hours. 3 people came after me with no appointment! They got waited on and was out of there within the hour. If it wasnt for one of the mechanics coming over to me asking what I was waiting on, I would still be sitting there now. The mechanics said to me that I need to go tell them because there was no need for me to be waiting. I went to the desk. The man that waiting on me when I first got there was in the back somewhere. I spoke to one of the other sales people. He was trying to tell me that they were busy but he will check to see. He couldnt find my ticket and he asked me who wrote my service up. I didnt know his name so I explained what he looked like. He went to the back. 5 or 10 minutes later he comes back and said my vehicle will be next. The guy that wrote my ticket up, came walking out and said they will be pulling your vehicle soon. Then one of the mechanics come flying out to get my vehicle. I said to myself, this is a mess. I wonder what kind of service my vehicle is going to get. It didnt take him no time. For as long as I had to wait for no reason, I should not have to have paid what I did. I just wanted out of there. I dont plan to go back and wont advise anyone else to go there. That was some lousy service!!!!! I will not mention names because everyone needs a job. A very dissatisfied customer!!!
Still here waiting. Getting tires,front end alignment. Left bout 9:15am to run errands. Was told be out in an hour. Back here at 10:20 am. Still be waiting. Guess they dont get in a hurry. Had appt.
What you have online vs in store,is not truthful. Your online help is not informed or updated. If I want to order online,dealing with an inept company from Overseas doing their on line for them. Funny thing, after 2 hours of trying to order,,,some of my phone features were locked up and could not control. .🤔..not good. I did cancel the order....the women on line spoke and apologized in everything they did. They might have been keeping me on line for a reason. No happy with sears overall. They never spent the money to up date systems and thats what really took them down.Im giving them 2 stars for they keep me on line🤔
I called this place looking for information on a new car battery. The representative who answered was willing to help with all my questions and provided detailed answers. She guided me through a great selection of batteries they have in stock

Rejected to service my car because they got into contract with a third party company and had to many car. They Suggested I leave my car overnight in order to get its oil changed. Used to be a great local place shop.
Was able to get in and get my issue with my car fixed and back on the road.
I took my vehicle to be serviced 4/20/2020, I was greeted by the Manager Mr. Russ is his name I think, if not forgive my lack of memory but he was the manager. He set everything up, explained the process and gave me all the information I needed and listened to what I was saying. After I was there a short time I was called back to the front and was assisted by a female, unfortunately I’ve forgotten her name she was a middle age lady, very pleasant and went over what was needed and she worked with me very well, she was a jewel, helped me save money. My experience at this car service was 100, I would recommend without a doubt. My experience was good from the time I walked in, until I left and my automobile, everything that I was able to get done, seem to be done very well.Thanks to everyone at Sears car service in Mesquite TX by Towneast Mall.
Purchased tires from Amazon and had them shipped here for installation. Had an appointment for 8am and was out by 9:30am. Timing in my opinion was reasonable for how busy they were. Two of the gentleman that assisted me were extremely nice and professional. However, an older black lady that works there needs to check her little attitude at home before heading to work. I went outside because I noticed my car was out of the shop area. I came inside to politely ask if I was set to go. I apparently interrupted her personal conversation. She responded back with a horrible attitude and gave me an eyeroll. If she doesnt like her job...it maybe time for her to find a new one! Youre in a client facing role...and are their to assist clients as needed. I definitely do not need to deal with someones attitude over being asked a simple question. Other than that, my experience was great.

I will give them a star for getting my car situation right the second time. But please make sure you get a second opinion with your car. I bought brand new tires but the they didn’t put my sensors in the right place, I received a full service and they did not check my oil but they marked it off on the paperwork that they check it. Next day my light said low oil! Stop half doing people cars!!!

Always reliable and fairly well priced for batteries. Nice that they are open on Sunday (when my car battery died).Used to be you could drive up and have a battery installed in less than 45 minutes, those days are over.

Just bought my 2nd battery from these guys. The first one was supposed to last 3 years. It lasted five. I expect the new battery to outlast the car. Fast and courteous service. Worth the drive to Mesquite for the quality of battery alone; the courtesy was a nice bonus.

So let me tell you about the best manager & best Sears Auto Center in the world... Russ is just absolutely amazing. I had bought my tires from another sears out of state and they lost my wheel lock key. And when I got my flat here in Texas, Russ was ready to help me at all cost. He went out of his way to replace my key for me - free of charge. He even had to drive to a car dealership for it. And for my really long wait time, he even had tires rotated for free too! I am back again today, a week later for another nail in one of my other tires. And I am totally satisfied with the 5 Star service they give. You cannot go wrong when Russ is at your service!! Thanks for everything sir!!
This place will try to cheat you on repairs. I was quoted over $600 dollars in repairs after they said they couldnt do my alignment/balance. I took it to another shop and they said there was nothing wrong with half the things they quoted. I ended up spending a little over $100 in repairs at the other shop. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!
Had 2 tires blow out. Went and my Hazard warranty still covered and ordered new tires. Next day they were delivered and installed. Always helpful and they always take care of me.
The service was absolutely wonderful! I came in with one extremely flat tire and came out with two brand new ones! Everyone there helped me out in my situation and kept the shop open late for me to be able to go home safely. The manager there, Mike, was very kind and made sure that I received the best service. I would definitely recommend for anyone!
Just visited this location, I understand there is probably only one person working at the service desk, but he is talking on the phone for 2 minutes meanwhile there are customers waiting, then he gets off the phone and assists another young lady with out even acknowledging the other people around him very un profesional, then he assisted the other person and walked out the door leaving me standing there. So I decided to leave behind him and he still opens the door for me to leave, unbelievable.
Don’t bring your vehicle here worst customer service ever! I made my appointment online at 10 am and didn’t get out till 12pm just for a oil change! It would’ve been longer if it wasn’t because i went to the front to check if my truck was there which it was!! It was sitting out there done for almost 30 minutes!! I asked if it was ready and the guy said oh yes they just brought it, BS!! I-saw when my truck left the back and it was 30 minutes ago!! This guy was lying in my face. Never ever bringing my truck here again!

Came in from Arkansas, wedding dress shopping with my sister. Came out of the ship and noticed that my oil pan cover was hanging! 😩 Came over to Sears Auto and Mr. Russ was very nice and super helpful. He got me fixed up quickly and back on the road again. Thanks again!

Excellent customer service. I had a flat tire and called the store for a quote. Russ, the store manager, went above and beyond to make sure I made it to work on time. The quality of tire was top notch and at a reasonable price. This shop will be on my shortlist of go-to places for parts and service.
I have purchased my car batteries from Sears for the last couple of decades. I used to go to the Valley View location before they closed it. Sears has always offered a good guarantee on their batteries which is why I have continued to buy from them. They replace and prorate the battery if it goes bad before its due. Driving to Town East Mall is arduous. The traffic is horrible and theres construction right at the intersection so it wasnt easy. The wait is always long. And the mechanics told me that Sears is probably going to close all the auto service locations. So after this battery dies Ill probably have to go to some other place anyway.
This is my second visit to Sears Auto Center at Town East Mall. The first visit was excellent with great customer service from Russ, Ike, and Bill. This visit was the same, awesome and excellent! I have confidence in their service and recommendations. I will schedule my next visit today. I have found a forever car service center with great customer service.
Russ & the @sears automotive team are great and honest. Took my new/used truck to the dealership this am for the 1st free oil change. With in 5 min they came out and told me I needed a new tire. I got lucky and they didnt have mine in stock. Dealer didnt put on my spare so I drove 30 miles home with a nail in my tire. Sat at home trying to find a tire called everywhere. When I called Russ & his team and they were polite professional. Got there and Russ was concerned about my safety and not trying to sale me anything. They checked the tire for free and found I didnt need anything. #Sears @sears Automotive in Mesquite TX Russ and his team are amazing. Will go back for the breaks on our other car.

Mr. CLEF DOUTHIT made my experience a 5 STAR!! Ladies if you all have any issues with your brakes ask for Clef!! He is very helpful. He gives you worse case and best case scenario on your repair estimate. Saying that there were no surprises in my bill. For me it was the worse case scenario and I was about to just go pick up my truck because I did not have that kind of money. I told him i couldnt afford it and he gave me other options. He goes above and beyond what you expect. Thank you Mr. Douthit for all your help and for being so kind because I was clueless about what I needed to do and why.
I bought a new tire and discovered the next day i still had a bad tire. The tech did not inspect my tires. I could have had a blown out. Just recently, I went back and the manger seemed sexist and did not listen. My brakes and rotors were not checked. All the tech did was try to rebalance one tire. I rode off, went to a regular tire shop and was told my right rotor was warped, which I had replaced immediately. I am done with Sears Automotive.

I had a great experience. I made an appointment at 4:00 to get an oil change and an alignment. I dropped my car off at the specified time, had a good laugh with some of the employees, and left to go walk around the mall. I was quite surprised when I received a text at 4:49 saying that my car was finished and ready to be picked up. The service was good, the people were great, and will definitely will be going back.

I brought my car in for an alignment. The lady that helped me was not customer service friendly at all. She looked in a bad mood like she didnt want to be there. I set an appointment online for 5pm. I informed her about that and told her I was there an hour early just to drop off the car. She proceeded to ask me all my information again even though I had gave it online. She took my key and told me to go sit in the waiting area. I told her how long will it be as I am just dropping off the car and would be back. I know I was early but just tought Id ask if will be done earlier or at the time I had set up the reservation. She just said I dont know it depends if there is someone available. Didnt say let me find out or I can give you a call and let you know. I told her thats fine Ill be back before 6. I didnt receive a courtesy call letting me know they had finished with the car. I called to check and the guy that answered was nice just said yes its ready. I told him I was sending my daughter to pay and pick up the key as I wasnt going to make it in time by 6. Again he was nice just wished he could have given me information about some issues they found with my car or a tech should have called and informed me.
The ONLY older lady that works customer service is HORRENDOUS! She was rude when she worked at the Camp Wisdom location. I came to Town East and can’t even escape her 🤯 it’s been a year and I bring my cars here every month for services because of my discount. But the discount is nearly no longer worth the hassle. And there’s 3 other hit and miss rude ppl on this register staff. There is only 1 older male who actually cares about helping customers. He gets Sears Auto the 1 Star, or else it should be 0.And don’t bother scheduling an appointment. You sit for 2 hours no matter what, while they treat you like you crazy for checking on your vehicle one time!

We took our vehicle in to address a few maintenance issues. The day after we picked it up we set out on a daytrip, which was cut short when the vehicle stopped running. The Service Manager Mike and his team assessed the issue and quickly made things right. They were honest and compassionate about everything. It’s rare to find this type of service. Thanks guys!
Came for an oil change, made the mandatory appointment online, it took just under 2 hours, and Nelson wanted to tell me what good time they made with my vehicle. I brought a book, as I know better than to expect Sears to do an oil change in less than an hour. But I even told him, this is bad customer service dont argue with me about not meeting the estimate you provided and he wouldnt back off. Not worth the savings. Theyre slow and proud of it, and dont care how it inconveniences your day. Please go anywhere else if you can.
Russ, store mgr, took care of me and gave me superb service! Saved me some $$, and took GREAT care of me. Been going to Town East Sears Auto for years and cant remember ever having a bad experience! I appreciate having an auto place close to my home that I can depend on.
I will start by mentioning that the service staff do a professional job on your vehicle so no complaints there at all .My issue is this...They are so slow there and work literally like snails at the counter and are totally OBLIVIOUS to their customers standing waiting in the store.They will suddenly disappear into the back and the counter will remain unattended for a long periods of time They purposely do not make eye contact with waiting customers so they dont get asked any questions or get asked to help you. And when you finally get waited on, in the middle of the conversation they will pick up the phone and attend to the customer on the phone giving them priority over you and ignore you leaving you standing there with no respect that you have waited forever to be helped by them which to me frankly is demeaning and infuriating.Wish there was a zero stars to rate them for customer service. In todays service environment a customer first attitude is a must to survive in this brutal economy to retain or grow ones business and I Hope Sears is listening to the many reviews here and will fix this occurring problem at this location.
The service is good, and the techs knowledgeable. I do not know what the point of making an appointment is, if both times Ive been there I still had to wait in line anyway.

Nelson and the rest of the team were awesome. Very nice and accomodating. He even checked me in over the phone so I could squeeze in a late appointment. The services did not take too long and they even checked for other problems that I asked about without trying to upsell me. I would definitely recommend.
Came in on Sunday to get a new full set of tires for my car, Steve who was VERY helpful and patient got me approved for a program they have, although after waiting about two hours or so, the system was not letting us continue to next page. Steve did in fact tried doing all which was possible, unfortunately, there was some sort of glitch on computer, we had to call it a day. Steve came in the next day on HIS day off to try once more to continue the application, after an hour or so, he called me and informed me that i was all set and just needed to come in and drop the car off. Monday was the only day i had to get new tires since i work rest of week and i was going out of town, but Steve did not give up and made the dream work happen and i left the store with new tires all thanks to Steve!! Shout out to him for his AWESOME customer service and coming in on his day off to make sure everything was set and done. Definitely recommend this place! Great Customer service and a great team that makes sure customer leaves happy!!

Prices are competitive for oil change, on tires they could do better. As far as other services I havent had my car serviced by then. Mainly because when Im quoting their prices come higher than my local mechanic. The line is confusing, I wish they had clearly label where to wait, it would avoid awkwardness with other customers.

For all of you who have rated this store below a 4 are remedial. If you want quality this is the place to go. If you are looking for fast crappy service go somewhere else. They take the time to make sure that everything thing is ok with your vehicle. It took you 9 months to be born, wonder what would have happened had the doctor took you too early? They set the expectations up front on the timeframe. This is where you say, thats too long you do have an option to leave.
Ive always changed my tires and brakes at Sears and every time I do Im never disappointed with their work and prices.

One Sears in 30 mile radius. The wait is too long even if you have an appointment. Please keep additional 30 to 60 minutes for this wait than told at the counter.

My husband ( Aron De Leon ) and I have been taking our cars to mesquites auto center for sometime and have always gotten great service, we would address the problem and it would get fixed. Our last two visits took a turn for the worst! My husband took his truck because it was making a scrapping noise in the font driver side and they said it was the ball joints that it would be 350 plus to fix it, well they did whatever and we paid. But the noise is not only there but gotten worse, andwe were told to get a second opinion. Just about the same time span we brought in a corolla with engine light problem we paid 89 dollars so they can just tell us whats wrong well... needless to say we paid 1000 dollars for repairs and not even two days later the engine light comes back on and they tell us its gonna be 450 plus more for for this and that and no guarantee that the problem would be fixed my husband was so mad cause they didnt tell him that they were trouble shooting. They confidentiality said this is the problem and this is how much it will cost.
Why do I drive from Denton to Mesquite for my vehicle issues? Russ & Kevin!!! Ive been dealing with these guys for over two years. I even followed them from their previous location.When I moved to Denton, I tried another facility and learned quickly that not everyone is helpful. So, I began making the drive and it is worth it. Russ, Kevin and the rest of the team at Sears Auto Care in Mesquite are awesome! I appreciate their willingness to explain any issues I may have with my vehicle along with my options to resolve them. And I do not have to worry about them pushing unnecessary products or repairs on me. They are knowledgeable and always helpful.Thank you Russ & Kevin for keeping me, my family and my ride safe!!

Had a simple question to ask over the phone, but the guy who answered continuously just complained about the online appointment making system, then continued to complain about entering in all of my information over the phone in order to make an appointment because itd be my first time coming in.Look, I get it, customer service isnt fun to work in, I work in it too, but at least attempt to help your paying guests out.I just told him, Nevermind, Ill take my business elsewhere. He simply said, Ok, then hung up in my face. Not even worth buying the Groupon.
Omg! I been here 2 and half hours... and all I wanted was a oil change. Me and another lady was the only ones here... like WTH! Service tech told me they had to order more oil, but he also told me once I got here that they had my oil in stock. If you are press for time... dont go here... on top of that the price was 165.00. I could have waited, and went to North Import Autos... paid 113.00 for the same service and finished in less time. Too bad they were closed today. Ugh. I ready to go. I read the reviews before going, I thought maybe if I arrived when they open, it wouldnt take so long... boy was I wrong. So if you are reading these reviews.. please believe, THEY R SLOW! Went for an oil change, vehicle came back damaged due to careless. Having difficulty with the insurance company they deal with and care from management seems to lack in concern as well. If you go, check out your car before you leave. Thats after waiting 4 hours by the way, without exaggeration.
Horrible service I called a head to see how long for an oil change, Kevin told me pretty quick because their slow...3hrs later Im still here...I wouldnt want see them on a busy day....I just hate being lied to....wouldnt recommend this place for quick service or to be honest to u.

It takes them forever to even start talking to you. Maybe one person in front of you but they take phone calls and those can last between 5-10 minutes. So my oil change took 30min to talk to them, 1 1/2 hrs to do the job, 30 minutes to get my keys just standing in line. DO NOT COME HERE
