Took two vehicles in.First vehicle was to inspect the front left brakes to see if anything had seized or if the pins needed to be adjusted on the calipers. The vehicle wasnt touched for the two hours it was there, with an appointment. Turns out all they had to do if they actually looked was to adjust the brake shield. Thanks T.K.Second vehicle just today was to do a tire patch, the patch itself is fine. But, why do you need to reset things in my car? If you dont know what youre doing just ask...

Broke a piece off my car. Charged me for the piece AND labor to install. Overheard the manager tell the employee “just try to get something out of it.” They didn’t realize I could hear them. Also didn’t fix the original issue I came to them for. Installed new tires without checking bearings. Once trust is broken, I can’t go back.
My husband and I have been going to this Firestone location since we moved here 2 1/2 years ago and they have been wonderful to us. Austin, Greg, DJ and the entire staff always go over and above to fix our issues in a timely fashion and give us the best price available vs. taking it to the Dealership. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!I just took my car for a $140 oil change and when I got my car I found very noticeable damage done to the leather on my steering wheel. 5 inches of tiny cuts in the leather of the steering wheel. They literally did hundreds of dollars in damage and the response I got from the bald old man associate named Greg was that in his opinion it didn’t look fresh. The damage was done within the last hour so it could not be fresher. He was incredibly rude, condescending, and unapologetic to the fact that there was damage done to my car that cost hundreds to repair. I am now filing a claim and waiting on an adjuster to see the damage but to avoid something like this avoid this place at all cost. Horrible experience and incompetent employees.

I was lied to by this shop about doing breaks. Apparently they do work on brakes at this shop, however they refused to fix mine. I went to the Port Orange, Fl shop and got wonderful service.
Went in this past Saturday to have my tires rotated and alignment checked. When I went to pick up my truck they informed me about my ABS light that was on, which I knew about. I could have left and had it repaired at the dealership, but Ive been going to this Firestone for years and want to give them service money, especially with the COVID-19. They replaced my tire hub, $550+ which was reasonable cost.The problem came when I was leaving to go to Orlando and my neighbor stopped me to let me know something about dragging on the ground, which was a vent hose from the 4X4 differential.I brought it back, now Thursday, to simply have the vent tube reattached where it goes and do a courtesy visual check under the hood to make sure the mechanics didnt forget to put something else back. Didnt ask them to remove the hub or anything else, just do me a quick fix of reattaching the tube and quick visual. The service representative made it sound like I drove my truck everyday since Saturday, but my mileage only read 3 miles. I didnt care the tube wasnt reattached, just wanted Firestone to standby there work and not make me feel like I was trying to get over on them. The thing is when you get treated poorly, you can fight the representative or like Im going to do, not use them for repairs in the future. Ive been going to them for 15 years, but no longer.
DJ is the best at what he does in all of Florida, I ONLY take my vehicles to him. I don’t even have to tell him the issue, and he already has a pretty good idea of what I need done.. I specifically shop there, just because DJ works there..

I bought for nice truck tires for my truck in March didnt get a discount didnt ask for a discount for months later the 2 front tires day call or feathering I cant control the truck at 55 miles an hour goes into a violent shake bring it back to Firestone their answer is not our fault its your fault you didnt rotate the tires every 3000 miles so that caused the problem Im not a child a button tires for 40 years worst place you can ever do business with no warranty no lets try it out they tried to charge me another $600 for 2 front tires that were 4 months old Do yourself a favor like I did when they told me it would be 600 to fix their warranty go somewhere else go anywhere else that Firestone does not stand by any of their work
Knowledgeable and honest staff. Diagnosed the problem but actually advised that the cost of the work was probably not worth it at this time. Not the quickest service though. Even with a scheduled appointment, I was here almost 2 hours.
We traveled across the state on Sat May 30 to watch the SpaceX rocket launch with two young kids. We started having car trouble in a relatively new car as we were approaching Cocoa Beach, and it seemed like it was getting worse as we left after watching the launch. Although it was late afternoon, Austin and Chris at Firestone Merritt Island were kind enough to check out the car efficiently and to get us safely back on the road. They treated us in a friendly, helpful and professional manner, even though it likely added at least a little more time at the end of a long day. Thanks to Austin and Chris for helping us get home with our kids that evening!
Went online and booked appointment for 3 pm today. Drove to Firestone at appointment time only to be told (unapologetically) by the attendant unfortunately, the system doesnt know there are already appointments today, I have you down for tomorrow at 1 pm on my end.1. Clearly Firestone, or at least this location, knows about problems with online booking and hasnt bothered to fix them.2. No other arrangements were even offered by the attendant (DJ) due to the inconvenience of driving there for said appointment (outside of arbitrarily rescheduling my appointment for the next day of course).3. Hope you took the hint and cancelled the appointment you rescheduled for me, as I will not be coming back ...

Don’t go to this Firestone unless you want to be scammed, overcharged, and laughed at in your face by the staff. The manager, Greg, is rude and abrasive and coerced me into signing a legal document that closed my complaint in store.I made a call to their customer line the day of the incident(10-8-3020) and did not receive any contact from Rachel or Robert (district and regional managers). Then I called again and it was bumped to the corporate office and I have not received a call from them either. Today is 10-22-2020 and no response.Imagine how they treat people who can be easily taken advantage of here?
Went there the other day and had a miscommunication with one of the techs, Greg the manager was super helpful and helped turn the experience around by providing me all the info I was looking for. Would go again.

I had some tires from Tire Rack sent here to be mounted and when I came to pick up the car the tires were filthy with some kind lubricant and when I left one of the center caps fell off and was lost. That said, the manager was really responsive to my complaints and solved everything to my satisfaction. Ill probably give them another shot.
Trust Firestone 100%. They have service in my car for many years new tires and whatever I need they sort it never rip off I have their credit card so you dont have to pay the full Bill up front and it helps especially with covid-19 when wages even mine are stretched
Stopped in around 3 today. Needed a tire repair and was told they couldn’t get to it today. Tire wasn’t even on the car. I was told to leave the tire until possibly closing the next day. Hard to do when you are traveling.

Worst tires ever. I have bought Destination AT tires for my trucks for years. I was told during a conversation that tires I had ordered were wrong but the Firestone rep would get me the right tires for my truck. Hell yes thanks for looking out for me... WRONG. The tires are terrible. They are XTs (LOUD). If I wanted the noise of a Mud tire I would have ordered them. No matter what you do after a while the noise gets to you. If you dont like tire noise, DONT buy these. And maybe dont take recommendations from the guy selling the tire.I originally gave 3 stars because of the interaction with the manager. I set up an apt to get tires for two vehicles. The manager (Austin) completed the transaction. I showed up on apt day to have another Employee (Greg) who noted that the wrong tires were ordered for me but said that he would correct it and take care of me. Very nice and polite. I came in to get one vehicle i left to drop off another that day. The manager wasnt very friendly, closed out my transaction and took another customer before taking my second veh i had scheduled. I chose then to talk with (DJ) who remembered me and was very polite and courteous. I noticed the manager soon left with a disgruntle look. DJ took care of me with kindness and courtesy. In the end i dont know what was wrong with the manager there but if I have to deal with him again, Ill go somewhere else. Greg and DJ were exactly who you want to deal with. Great customer service....

The service managers at Firestone are always authentic friendly and informative!. I have had a few decent experiences in the Merritt island location. Let me say, THANKS for their worthy warranty on their tire purchases and alignment warranty my experience was good. Just make sure to check their work because as we all make mistakes or forget sometimes so do some of their tire techs. ☺
You get fast and courteous service every time you got to this location. They have very good mechanics and service managers that know their stuff. If they are having a backed up day please be patient and kind to the employees. Everybody has bad days. They are the best.
My family and I are from Orlando and visited Cocoa Beach for the day. We were headed to Merritt Island for a late lunch and while crossing the causeway we heard a metallic clunk from under our vehicle. We pulled into the parking lot where this Firestone is located and when I looked under my vehicle I found that a caliper bracket bolt was missing. I spoke to Kurtis and he went out and looked at the problem. The vehicle is a Suzuki which has minimal repair support at best anymore and to get the correct bolt would take several days. He said he would have the mechanic see what he could do while we ate next door. They called me about 30 minutes later and said they had a temporary solution. They had me take a look and the mechanic Steve had provided an excellent temporary solution to allow myself and my family to get home safely. Their dedication to excellence, customer service, and genuine care for safety and humanity are second to none. They didnt even charge me which is very rare in todays world. I would recommend this Firestone shop to anyone who lives in the area. They are a true class act. Thanks guys!!

One of the worst experiences I ever had with any Company. I will cancel my Firestone credit card. I was told by the Manager to never come back to his store. All this over getting some prices on tires and not agreeing on an up-sale on rebuilding my tire pressure sensors. I was told it was not only policy, but its against the law not to have my tpms rebuilt when installing new tires. Things went from bad to worse with the Manager. I have bought many sets of tires from this store in the past with no problems. You not only lost me, but my entire family and anyone else on social media that cares!
Went in for a routine brake pad replacement. They did a brake inspection and said the next pad replacement we would need to replace rotors but right now it wasn’t a necessity and no other issues were found. Brake were replaced and we left hearing a hissing noise and the brakes feeling much different. over the next two days brake pedal turning into a brick and very difficult to stop. Called firestone at 8:00am and the earliest he could get the car in was 12:30 (who needs brakes anyway). Got the car there and it was taken back. Nothing was communicated for the next hour and a half while they were trying to diagnose the issue. I finally leave to get my daughter lunch and get the call that they didn’t cause the issue that was Nearly $700. This car has never had an issue getting a brake pad replacement elsewhere. I don’t believe this coincidentally happened out of no where. Randomly this issue happened when brake pads were replaced? After discussion he thought it didn’t look good on them since this issue was never noted and it miraculously happened the same time as a brake pad replacement so he did me a favor and split the bill with me. How nice of them! 😡
I have been coming here for about 3 years now and have not encountered a problem so far. Best to make a appointment as they start getting busy pretty early. Turnover is fairly quick so for average maintenance and minor repairs we are talking maybe 1.5 - 2 hours. They can be a little high priced for some things but for the most part their prices are competitive with neighboring shops. They seem to be efficient and competent and stand behind their work. For routine maintenance and minor repairs I would recommend them

Struck a large object on the 528 that split my rim and compromising (in my mind) the integrity of my tire. I took the car to Firestone where I usually have the car serviced. They are typically helpful enough and prices seem generally fair. However, this time Mark Falcon assisted me. He went beyond what the team usually does to help, providing multiple options to get me back on the road quickly and safely. Top kudos to Mark!!

I was basically ignored and never acknowledged at all and so i left and went somewhere else even though i had made an appointment. Very unprofessional dark haired with scruffy facial hair had no customer service skills what so ever. Never go there again and i would recommend you go else where as well!

I came in for a tire rotation, oil change and brake light bulb replacement. Customer service was extremely slow. Additionally, while I waited, those of us in the waiting room could clearly hear a Firestone conference call in its entirety, which a manager participated in on speaker phone from his office. It was unprofessional and distracting. When I paid and left with my car, one or more of my tires made a wobbling noise. I returned immediately and was told perhaps it was because my tires were not rotated often. However, I rotate my tires regularly. They checked the tightness of my lug nuts and found no issue and sent me on my way saying there was nothing they could do. But I think more should have been done to investigate the wobbling noise. Additionally, my battery light came on after I drove away. I returned the next day to have them investigate the battery light. Shouldnt a general test of the battery been done the day before? The initial tests showed there was an issue with the battery, but I was told I would have to pay for another electrical test to see what the issue was. At that point I felt uncomfortable and that I was not be dealt with honesty, something I never expected from Firestone. I was advised that although they didnt know what the issue was, they felt that if I drove too far away my car would stop on me. I took my chances since the trust was broken after the tire wobbling and battery issues. My car was proverbially humming before I went in, and AFTER a service at Firestone it felt like it would fall apart any minute - too coincidental to trust. I did leave and yes my car did shut down on me in another parking lot. I had AAA come out and they instantly were able to tell me it was my alternator, using a similar looking device to the one Firestone used. How could a mobile AAA person tell me that instantly, but Firestone would have to perform another test and charge me for it? I had AAA take me to another repair place where my issue was resolved. It is so hard to trust auto repair shops, so it is a shame that an established company like Firestone may be falling into the same untrustworthy category as all others. The increased profits would naturally come if people trust you - vehicles always need regular maintenance. They dont need to be told a half truth to gain trust and I lie in the same sentence to be milked for money. It is such a shame, since this Firestone is conveniently located for me and previously provided good service to me. Unfortunately, I will most likely never return and will encourage others not to either. Better management is needed and better vetting/oversight of the technicians and front desk staff.
The customer service here is outstanding. They are extremely helpful and do not try to get more then what is absolutely needed on your car. Very trustworthy and honest. I highly recommend them
1st I Iet my adult son borrow my Venza (which has brand new less than 2 month old tires on it) and he obtained a rear passenger flat that would not hold air...Forestone replaced the tire..irreparable...today I brought in same car for a nail in front tire (most likely same incident just not informed by my son)...They are, quick, fast, reliable, and always do right by me....I habe the hazard plan and my tire replacemt last week
I have been to the Merritt Island location twice and have worked with Austin both times. Both visits they have exceeded my expectations. Pricing was inline with other repair shops but the service and respect I was given was best in class.

DJ, the service rep that helped me, was very courteous and helpful in giving the best deal on tires. The mechanic that worked on my 1967 Ford Ranchero (Steve was his name - he replaced a worn axle bearing) was also easy to chat with and had me on my way as quickly as possible. I felt I had received very good service at a reasonable price. Overall impression of the shop: clean and spacious, with many service bays. Thanks Firestone.
I came off a cruise over in Port Canaveral. So drove to this Firestone on my spare to find out why my brand new tires had gone flat over the week. Turns out I had a crack in my rim, granted there was nothing they could do to fix it but the staff here at this location went above and beyond to try and help me find a rim for my tire in locations as far as Charleston, SC to try and help me get home. I can not praise enough how helpful everyone working here was to help me in my bind.
I wish I could give this location zero stars I would; I dropped off my car off at 10:30 am for my 11 am appointment. I left the car and expected to hear back in an hour or so. I only need my oil changed, and tire checked for leaks.By 3 pm I have not had a call from the store, so I decided to call. To my surprise, my car still had not been serviced; I was told to come by at 5:30 that my car would have been serviced by that time. So I did and guess what! Still, my vehicle had not had anything done.Why make appointments with this location if your car will sit there all day and nothing will happen. I wasted a whole day waiting around Merritt Island for my vehicle. Avoid this Firestone at all cost, The sears service center on the backside of the mall can do a better job.

All I wanted to do was have the corrosion cleaned on mu battery and the staff here was too money hungry to listen to my need. They kept advising how much they needed to check my car and change my battery when I told them a specific and necessary reason as to why I couldnt change it here. I understand your care and concern but if I have a legitimate reason as to why I cant do a repair, dont hassle me, just do what I asked. Ive only ever had negative experiences at Firestone and this one no different other than its my last!
I showed up just about 5 minutes before closing. you would have never known it. the staff treated me the same as someone with appointment. although they couldnt work on my car that night, they did bright and early in the morning and worked with me regarding payment. fantastic service.
We had a possible tire emergency after visiting Titusville, and needed it addressed quickly before our 3 hour road trip back to Miami. These guys got us right in (on a Sunday morning!), figured out why our tire warning light had come on, fixed it, and sent us on our way all within about 20 minutes. They were so friendly to boot! Just wanted to give a shout out and a huge Thank You to this outfit... highly recommend!
Absolutely horrible experience went there yesterday to get a tire looked at under warranty they closed an hour early the gentleman told me to show up the next morning 1st thing they would get me in-and-out I showed up 1st person in line they told me would be a 1 1/2 hours Before they could take care of me. Extremely poor customer service I purchased my tires both for my truck and my Mustang this year spent probably just shy of $2000 a bought them at Titusville Firestone because one of my coworker son is a manager there Merritt island Firestone sucks!!!

Stopped in to get tires rotated on Saturday, they recommended an appointment.Back 2 days later at my appointed 1:00 pm time.Sat and watched my truck sit parked for half an hour. Had other places to go so ask when it would be done. Was told maybe by 3:00 or 3:30.Over 2 hours to rotate tires with an appointment, Unacceptable!
They rescued our vacation! Our fuel pump failed late Friday afternoon; I talked to Greg, we were able to tow the car there after hours, I called him early Saturday morning, and by early afternoon the car was fixed. All the time, being exceptionally courteous. Well be forever grateful for their quick attention, allowing us to continue the vacation AND get home by Sunday evening.

Took my Dodge Durango up there today to look at my front breaks, they told be pads are good for front but not back and even took and show me and my wife the issue. Thier very friendly, great customer service.. They tell you what is wrong and needs fixed, not how they can make an extra buck off you. To car owner this is how you get us to come back :)
First-rate operation. Wish I had used them years ago. Used them for oil change, new plugs, fuel filter, coolant system flush, etc. Great service at good prices. Theyll do all my car maintenance from now on.
Shop employee Gary flat out does not want to be at work. Once he could be torn from his cell phone to address a customer, he simply recommended I go to a different tire shop. On the up side, the local tire shop Rays Tires has amazing people that are super willing to help!
Went in there for an oil change on a Sunday. They were very nice and helpful! Also making an appt online really helped speed up the process. Really happy with their service today.
They tried to charge me for service I didnt authorize. My battery was working fine when I dropped it off, and then they called me and told me it was dead. Then, they tried to over charge me for replacing my radiator. When I told them no, and went to pick up my car, the store manager yelled at me. Never going here again!

This has been my go-to place for vehicle maintenance for years. The staff knows their business. The hours are very flexible. They offer guest wifi, but it is very slow. Bring your own coffee if you are going to wait, theirs is what you can expect from a service station. Great dining locations a short walk away to wait for them to be done.Do ask them to lock your car if you arent right there to pick it up, they often leave them open.

I brought my bmw there for a strange noise that nobody can figure out. i was told on the phone that it would cost 21.99 for them to look at the car .I dropped off the car and they were unfortunately unable to figure out what that noise was but did continue to inspect my car to look for any other problems and since they were not able to find out the noise which I really wanted to know they only charged me $10 recommended me to another place.
I have nothing but good things to say about this Firestone. Ive had my tires replaced here and the associates treated me very well... always friendly and professional. Ive had to call a few times regarding my tires and theyve always answered my questions in a very efficient and polite manner. They even informed me of a warranty that Id purchased from them and immediately forgotten about. Im very pleased with the customer service I received from this Firestone and plan on returning here in the future.

The guy at the front desk told me i never called but i know i made the call because my wife was on speakerphone. So he say i could come back at 1200pm when he has more Mechanics clocked in . so i would not place visit this place againagain
Made an appointment for an A/C inspection. I was told he was starting immediately and I would have a call in an hour with results. A little over an hour later I called for the status. He told me the tech would call me in15 minutes. I called back 30 minutes later when I still hadnt heard. When I asked for the results he told me they were just getting started on the inspection! So, they had been lying to me and stringing me along for over an hour and a half telling me they would have the results when they knew they hadnt even started!! Thanks for completely waisting my time on a Sunday...They lied to me over and over. I would never trust them with my vehicle again!

They took good care of my Civic Type R tires and rims. I appreciate the effort they took in finding my RE71r in both 15 and 20 inch.
We arrived here at 9am Sunday morning with a flat tire. They said no problem, however, it took them 45 minutes to take our car back to look at the tire. If they had been busy I could see that but I went and looked to see what they were doing and 4 guys were standing around talking and laughing. We have to get a new tire and have an alignment. The tire could have been patched but not sure they patch tires here because they said it could not be fixed. Unfortunately we are a group of 4 women and I feel they have really taken advantage of us because they know we are traveling back to North Carolina and have to have it fixed. Two of our husbands agreed but they are not on this trip and like one of them said: those guys have all day. Finally, 2 hours later, we are ready to leave. We will hopefully get home safely but I would never recommend this Firestone to anyone.

They will rip you off! Do not have your vehicle serviced here. They also charged my card without authorization from me for work not performed.They are extremely rude to their customers.
