Honesty, Integrity and ConnectionI had my Chrysler Town and Country towed to a franchise auto repair shop; they determined that due to a failed block test the motor would need to be replaced. Next it was towed to the dealership. There I discovered that the warranty forever was invalid according to a warranty representative due to 2 things: 1) oil changes being on a synthetic oil schedule and 2) my car not requiring synthetic oil. The synthetic oil package had been promoted to me by a member of the dealership service department. The dealership quoted $1235.00 plus taxes to replace 3 gallons of antifreeze, heater hoses and a sensor. They said after they replaced those items they could perform tests on the motor. I was upset over finding out the warranty forever was null and void due to my following their representatives advice and switching to synthetic oil. Multiple times when I took the car in for an oil change I would check at the counter to make certain my warranty work was being done at the correct mileage. I was verbally assured it was in good standing. This day I was told the onerous was on me to check with the warranty forever people and not the dealership to make certain it was in good standing. It hurt to hear that being said to me. The dealership agreed to knock the price to $1000.00 plus taxes. I would end up paying $109.00 for the diagnostic workup and take the car elsewhere.I was referred to an auto mechanic by a guy I do business with while my car was at the dealership. Once this mechanic heard about the failed block test he said not to mess around with what the dealership advised; the motor needed to be changed out. His quote came to over $5000.00.A friend who I was talking to about what was going on with my car repeatedly over several days spoke to me about her trust and satisfaction with the service she received at D Boys Auto Repair, and she shared a story about why. By my 3rd conversation with Kamie at D Boys, I decided to have the car towed there. She shared that the people working there, herself included, had worked at large dealerships for years. She understood the frustration I was dealing with and assuredly conveyed that I would be okay putting my faith and trust in their doing right by me. Alex made the call to replace the heater hoses and to not replace the sensor unless it ended up needing to be replaced. Next he said the thermostat needed to be replaced. The thermostat and assembly had to be purchased together. He replaced them. The car was working again. The bill came to $498.00.I am grateful to Kamie and Alex at D Boys Auto Repair. You simply couldnt ask for better mechanics, the work is always done perfectly and is always reasonably priced. These guys are as knowledgeable as they come. Theyve serviced two trucks of mine over the years, taking care of all sorts of different issues and Ive had nothing but great work done from them every time.

My experience was not in the same league as other customers. I needed exterior door handles replaced along with a couple of other repairs. They kept my truck 2 days and only replaced the door handles, one of which did not work AFTER the new one was installed. Their explanation made no sense even though I repeated asked why. I just spent a couple of hours taking the door apart and examining their work. I reinstalled the door handle, lubed the connections for the actuator and the handle now works like a charm. I wasted $200 trying to avoid doing the job myself. Wont take any vehicles back to this shop.Owners response is total BS. The door handles work fine, NOW Your assessment of them being low quality is simply your shoddy workmanship installing them. The latch was not to blame; your circular explanation that the power window motor was causing the problem MADE NO SENSE AND FOR GOOD REASON. Believe it or not, I can comprehend an explanation that is valid. In fact, I re-did your work and ended up with a working door handle. I did not even bring up the issue about the horn and airbag but yes, your off-the-cuff estimate of $800 - 900 repair was a show stopper AND you did nothing to diagnose the problem. You did not even remove the cover from the steering column. I made an appointment days ahead and the truck sat in your parking lot for 2 days and was destined for a weekend stay had I left it any longer.

This is a family run business. They provide an excellent service to the community. I find them to be honest, friendly, professional, fair and excellent at automotive care!An example of this is when I heard a noise in the rear of my car and took it to them to see what the problem was. They diagnosed the problem as needing a new rear barring assembly that cost $500. THEY ASKED ME if the car was still under warranty. It was and recommended I take it to my dealer for warranty repair, saving me $500. They didnt have to do that. That showed me they had something that most businesses dont, INTEGRITY!They will forever have my business and I highly recommend them!

The engine light in my truck was on and I had an idea what the problem was. Bad catalytic converters. Ugh! I searched the internet for estimated repair costs so I was prepared for the worst. D Boys was within sight of the local NAPA Auto Parts store. They recommended the shop. Still, taking your vehicle to a new service center is a scary thing if you dont know anybody there.I brought the truck to Alex, the owner, for a diagnosis. He put it on his scanner and showed me what I feared was true. He reassured me that the repair would not be nearly as expensive as I thought. He recommended that I take it to another local business that specializes in catalytic converters because he cant compete with their prices. Who does that? He won me over right then and there as a repeat customer.After having the converters repaired I took it back to D Boys for some long overdue maintenance items. Alex suggested some additional repairs that he felt needed attention. He had my trust so I would have told him to proceed with the additional repairs anyway. However, he took the time to show me the failed parts.D Boys goes above and beyond. I didnt feel like I got the usual smile and firewall between the waiting room and whats really going on out in the garage. I strongly recommend D Boys for service to your vehicle!

D Boys is a prime A+++ company IMO. I went in there yesterday after reading about how honest and great they were on Facebook because my check engine light was on. While I was waiting, a man in front of me was paying for service and the owner came over to him and said you did not need an oil change so we did not do one, the guy said well I just thought I needed one and they explain to him why he did not need an oil change and I was blown away by their honesty and integrity. He explained why my check engine light was on and reset it, six months ago when it was on, I went into another chain in Merritt Island and they gave me an $800 estimate on what needed to be done to it, obviously I trust D Boys now and if I ever have any problems thats exactly where Ill go. Thank you guys.

Quality, Integrity and Transparency make A Customer for LifeWe never required repair of our 2005 Pontiac so now with a few problems we had no idea where to go. With auto service providers almost next door to each other, like fast food places, it would have been hard to choose had we not overheard D Boys recommended on 2 separate independent occasions in the past. Once from a taxi driver and another at the Viera VA outpatient clinic. Both were talking about their own cars. So with a battery needing to be jumped several times a day and an A/C problem we called D Boys and made an appointment. Actually it was good news they require an appointment. Like a good restaurant when you need a reservation it can signify they are popular and busy. Rather than being required to drop it off early in the morning. we were given a choice of available times the very next day. Within a couple of hours we were called that the car required a new battery and got the price and the battery warranty coverage. The next day we were called that the car was ready and A/C was done and all it needed was a part called a Schrader valve in order to charge it with required gas. When we picked it up a gentlemen came out of the office and actually showed us the valve and explained the repair and all was working. He was professional and and courteous. ( A month earlier while the car was on loan to our friend they were told the A/C compressor was about to go out and with parts and labor the cost would be well over $1000.) We were expecting a costly bill when we picked the car up. Other shops would have perhaps replaced or pretended to have replaced the A/C system. Who knows? It happens. Whether it is just an oil change, tire rotation or another problem requiring repair we will go back to D Boys. We have already told many people about this experience with D Boys and hope word of mouth brings them new customers. They also do regular maintenance.

These guys didnt do anything for my truck. I took it to Advance Auto,got an analysis done 54.00 and did it myself in 5 minutes. I now dont trust any of these shops. They all take advantage of women. Austin you should learn how to use your equipment.

Alex and the team got me in at the last minute during this crazy Covid time. While many businesses and services were closed they they were able to fix my radiator and get it back to me quickly. Hands down, THE BEST auto repair shop Ive been to. Im from NC and traveled to FL. for vacation. Came in on a Saturday (which were by appointment only) with my 2010 Dodge Nitro that was overheating as we were leaving to come back home to NC with 2 children and they got started on my car almost immediately. Kept me calm and gave my children snacks and toys in the meantime. If it wasnt for them, Im not sure that I would have made the 9 hour trip back home. They are on 520 in East Merritt Island, and have worked on all of my vehicles for many years (formerly at Marks in Cocoa Beach). They have a brand new waiting room, several bays, and I have found them to be the least expensive, competent mechanics around! Everyone should have a Mechanic they can trust, and you wont find that at the dealerships!

Best mechanic Ive been to. They were pleasant, had a very nice waiting area and refreshments, explained things in clear detail without being condescending, but most importantly they did good work for a price much lower than Im used to.They even squeezed me in to change an iffy belt the day before I left the state, I plan to use them whenever Im in the area.

My son’s car recently had major engine failure 60 miles from home. I have never used D Boys services and went in to talk to them about it. The first thing they did was recommend a local long distance towing company that saved me 50% on the charge of the company my insurance company wanted to use. Once the car was delivered to them, they laid out all of my options and the associated costs. Throughout the repair process every decision they made was centered around my costs and the best option for the life of the vehicle. The engine replacement was done on time of their estimated completion date (sooner than I expected actually) and afterwards Alex took the time to answer every question and concern I had about the repair, even putting the car on the lift to show me certain things. I am extremely happy with the entire process and confident in the work done on the car. D Boys will be where I bring any of my cars for service in the future and it’s where you should bring yours also!

Took our Jeep to get a second opinion on the track bar having to be replaced. They saved us about $400 just looking at it for us. Also took us at the last minute.
