Buyer Beware. I bought 4 tires for my Jeep with the 90 day bring back warranty. I did not like the tires after install so I tried to return them and the store manager, Sean Aleut said I couldn’t because I did not buy another set from them. He wouldn’t give me the phone number for customer service so I went home and found it myself. I put in a claim and called for status every day for 8 days. No one returned my call. I finally called the CEO in Clearwater and today I got my refund. The store manager was rude, unprofessional and ignorant regarding store policy and procedures. He also made me unload the tires myself and did not apologize. I’m glad it’s over.

5 weeks ago I had 4 tires that I had ordered online, mounted and balanced by Tires Plus on the Island. The balance wasn’t right. Due to my work load I wasn’t able to get right back in so I called and made an appointment for today, Saturday July 31, 2021. So they checked the balance on the wheels and they said only one was out. Then presented me with a bill for $63 for what they said they only had to change the weights on one wheel. $63 can you believe that junk. I’ll NEVER shadow that door again and I’m contacting corporate about the additional charge. Bad bad customer service there.

I went to Tire Plus on May 15th 2021 in the afternoon.. I got 4 New Tires and an Oil Change. Over a thousand dollars. When i was leaving i got in my Truck and Noticed the Tire Pressure light was on. I walked back in and talked to Chris the alleged manager he said that they would have to charge me an hourly rate to Look at it.. It was 30 minutes till closing SO he rushed me right out of there,. When they had just taken it off there rack and the light was not on when i got there,. He said had nothing to do with them. I left scratching my head. Then my truck started driving funny and i called and again Chris answered the phone when i called and again he said they would have to charge me to look at it. I called the store a total of 4 times and went up there 2 times. I sent 2 emails to Corporate with NO RESPONSE. Now i am filing a complaint with the Department of Agriculture the BBB and the Attorney General. This Tire store really tried to get one over on me. I am considering filing a law suit against them. This is not how you do Business. PLEASE BEWARE I wish i would of read reviews before i went in. I can now see that they have done this many times before to many customers. BAD BUSINESS

Had brake work done. Wasnt fixed correctly. Took it back fixed again. Still not fixed right. Needed hole in power steering fixed. Quoted me a price. Came back to have that fixed. Quoted a different price. Then price changed 3 time while I was there. Finally paid $100 more than the highest quoted price. A/C was running warm when idle. Had them check it. Said it needed a recharge. Had that done. A/C still running warm when idle. I still a another job they say needs to be done, but, Im not going back with 2 jobs not fixed correctly and 1 that I overpaid for. The bill looks like I was charged 2x for the power steering!!

Bottom line, look at the number of one star reviews and know there’s a reason. This place uses the classic automobile repair scam of “we can’t do the repair your asking for but we can replace your tires for $800”. stay away. really find somewhere else

Just had them service my 2019 GMC Sierra. Luckily I park in the garage and noticed oil all over the floor when I woke up in the morning. I crawl under the truck and they had forgot to tighten the drain plug. Will not go back nor will I have them service our companies vehicles anymore.

The crew that’s there now and that has been there the past few years are great! They are on time. I appreciate them being so responsive on my repairs on a short notice.Most recently they repaired a hub for me when I was on a tight schedule the same day. Fortunately for me there was little to no line, I appreciate every ones effort.

This place has always treated me right. The guys working the counter are polite, and explain everything to you that you need explained. They are knowledgeable and have even taken the time to take me into the garage and show me things that are going on with my car. I have been a customer for over 10 years and I will continue to be. Terrible service!! Only 1 star because that was as low as I could go!!My car needed tires, there was nothing else wrong with my vehicle.Took my car in, they changed the tires and damaged my tire sensor and after 3 visits could not reset the tire sensor and then finally admitted that they do not have the meter and attachment to properly calibrate my Chrysler. The assistant manager Anthony communicated with Firestone in front of the Merrit Island Mall who after leaving it for the day with them told me that Anthony did not tell him what it needed and they also do not have the equipment to calibrate the sensor and that I would have to take my car to the dealership to have the system rest. I called Anthony at Tires Plus and told him what Firestone said and he said yeah, sorry take it to the dealership. I said, my car did not have sensor problems until they changed my tires and told him I paid for the top of the line TPS & Road Hazzard warrantee and just want my car back the way it was before they worked on it except with the new tires I paid $984 dollars for??? He told me take it to the dealer and we will make it right maybe give us an oil change? I said no, I want the additional cost reimbursed which wound up being $240 for a new sensorto replace the one Tires Plus damaged and for the recalibration. He said he needed to talk to his manager Sean about it and would get back to me as to how to proceed . Nine days later, no call back, my vehicle is finally repaired by the dealer. I called Tires Plus, talked to Anthony who said how do you know we damaged your sensor, do you have the old sensor??Really?????!!!!!I explained the entire situation again to Anthony who said I dont know, we can open an investigation up to determine if we are responsible???I bought new tires, now 7 trips between Tires Plus, Firestone and now the dealer, 9 days later and Tires Plus Manager and Assistant Manager are going to imply that they did not break the sensor, not to mention I paid additional for the warrantee?? Run Away

ANOTHER NEW MANAGER AND STAFF! Atrocious turnover with this ungrateful company. My latest experience shows their arrogant contempt for customers:-(I completely understand that your company has large overhead expenses that must be met. I have personally helped as a paying customer for 14yrs. But, when it costs you nothing to provide satisfactory customer service and you choose to cite your overhead expense as reasoning, that is when you loose customers.I purchased and had installed a rotor button beyond 12months ago. This squarely puts me out of the TP warranty period, but I did pay more at the time of purchase for a lifetime warranted part. The part was uninstalled by me in 5 minutes and taken to TP. The defective part, though easy to install, still crippled my vehicle and made it undriveable. At TP I was explained to that the labor warranty had lapsed on the part. They would get a new free one from AutoZone (the original provider) and charge me $80 to install the part. This expense would be added to the $100 tow bill to get the car to them. That is reasonable, but I suggested a better way. I asked TP to call AutoZone with thier original purchase info and relay it. I could easily pick it up from an AutoZone myself and have the my car running 5min later. They said that was “impossible” and sent me on my way. I did visit AutoZone with my original TP receipt. AutoZone then was able to call TP, find and be relayed the original purchase info so they could then warranty replace the part for me. In my attempt to ease the burden on the actual retailer taking the warranty loss, TP would not aid in ANY way. Again, no loss would come from the 3minute courtesy call to AutoZone to relay ordering info. Now, you WILL incur a loss due to my negative review here and on other venues. Both of the employees behind the counter were unprofessional in dealing with my situation and one of thier children was “behind the counter” crying. I sincerely wish we lived in an environment in which employee children in the workplace was NOT an unprofessional way to conduct business, but this world is not that. These are the reasons WHY this location continues to overturn managers excessively and struggle to profit year over year. I did inform the employees of the pending negative reviews if no effort was made to remedy my unique situation. I do not blame them, but blame does lie with the lack of autonomy Bridgestone provides to its team to make these easy and quick decisions. On a positive note, the back shop staff was very friendly and welcoming when I arrived and made contact.Have a great day where your tire and service price “can’t be beat”!

I trusted this shop a lot in the past but it is now in the hands of new management. Took my car for an ordinary brake job (fronts only). The manager didnt measure the rotors before deciding they needed to be replaced, even though I asked him to and he said he would. He then presented me a bill that was higher than the estimate I signed with the explanation that one of the parts cost more than he thought (even though he looked it up while I was standing there). Otherwise, the work was fine but rather slow (over 2 hrs).

Just goes to show with all the bad reviews and they keep coming. Yea this place is not the best but I guess there ok and not the worst Ive seen. Though they dont have patience when it comes to getting your car out of the lot they love to make you wait forever for it to even get into the shop. While this place has nice staff there work isnt good. When I get a oil change I expect them to clean up after themselves and not leave oil on my hood even though whoever was suppose to close it didnt even do that it was shut but not latched. If I were to travel 50mph or more it would have flew up and shattered my windshield. Good thing I made sure to check it before I left. Now that seems like a little issue but then you do that and hop on i95 and see what happens. Honestly little issue like that could have caused a accident. Personally I will never go back here. Remember to do the online survey to they will call you and ask why they are so bad just hang up they dont bother to fix it and laugh as they hang up.-1 star but I cant leave that

I was down from NY and got a flat tire, I knew I my tires were bad but didnt know how bad they were until Mark pointed out the problems with them. I ended up buying four brand new tires and the car feels amazing now! Just want to thank Mark for all his hard work and his knowledge. Will definitely use them again in the future.

I went to them over a year ago. Didnt know how to use computer to complain. Asked them to help me with the brakes and a few squeaks under the hood. Went back the next day to see the estimate. It was close to $4,000. I said forget it. The blue book value wasnt even worth $2,000. The other manager said may take $300 off but they had already started taking it apart. There was no way they could stop repair. This is not really proper business. A friend that was a senior citizen asked them to do it. It was for my car. My friend paid the bill. Put me in shock. I have bought cars for $50, $100, $500. They lasted many years. The manager told me I probably never got anything fixed the whole time had owned it. I let him know that I had gotten new tires, had the radiator changed out, Plenty of oil changes. One time had to get the transmission maintenance work done on it. My friend has since had to put her paid for home into a reverse mortgage for me. I live in a trailer that needs major repair. I am practically devastated, and furious over this transaction.

Stay away from Tires Plus on Merritt Island! They dont care about you and are about the bottom line. My vehicle needed a serpentine belt replacement. I was advised by my father not to ever use Tires Plus because they are pricey and not experts. Because I was in a rush, and lived nearby, I went to Tires Plus anyway, thinking, how could anyone fail at just a serpentine belt replacement. Tires plus took over two days to complete the replacement - way too long, and charged significantly more than other auto or tire stores. Then the belt screeched every time I started my vehicle. I returned my car to Tires Plus two times to have them fix the screeching problem. They made one adjustment that didnt help. Subsequently they said the belt just needs breaking in. The screeching lasted for over a year until I had it checked by a Foreign Car mechanical company who told me breaking in the belt as Tires Plus told me is incorrect. I feel blessed that I or passengers have not been harmed from this dangerous situation. Tires Plus installed the belt too loosely and the belt developed glazing.

I made a last minute appointment to get our tires balanced before my fiancé and I left for Tampa.He arrived at time of appointment and everything seemed to be going great until the manager came out and told us he would not balance our tires because we needed new tires, we also asked for an inspection which we arent even sure if they did because we have a noise coming from the passenger side and he did not mention anything about it. Besides all of that, he then pushed tires on us and when we declined because our tires arent bare they have about 40% tread left, we didnt have the time this morning and didnt want to pay 700 dollars for tires kept pushing. We ended up paying for an inspection Im not sure we got and left. Would not recommend this place to anyone it was absolutely horrible.

This happened a while back so maybe its different now, so I gave 2 stars for the benefit of the doubt. Anyways, I made an online appointment for an alignment, charged $79. Came in, guy said we gotta reschedule you for next week since were full and didnt check online. Alright, came in next week and he wanted to charge me $89 since he cant honor the online promotion. Okay, whatever another 10 bucks. I also forgot to mention I work on my own cars and know my stuff. They tell me the tie rods are binding when he adjusts them and I immediately ask for a refund and my car back since Ive never heard of such a thing and they have done no work. I got the money back, went to meineke, took less time for an alignment than tires plus to find a problem, $59 and works perfectly. I did check my tie rods before taking them to meineke and I was able to adjust them just fine, the threads had a bit of resistance due to rust but nothing a little tug couldnt fix.Go somewhere else for an alignment.

Doesnt even deserve a star. Went to get an alignment done on my boyfriends truck, was told we needed to replace the track bar before being able to do the alignment and had to tighten some other front suspension parts before theyd even do that. Tightened it up and they want to charge us almost $300 for a track bar. Went and got a second opinion on the track bar and NOTHING is wrong with it. Doesnt need to be replaced at all. So they tried to scam us out of $300 for NOTHING.Do NOT recommend!!!

Took my van for a simple oil change. Come back tell me my battery is testing bad. Had no problem with it until they put it back in in the van wouldnt start. The technician tightened up the lead and the van started right up. The very next day had air sensor problems. Target back did a full fuel system cleaner and everything. Ran great for a day then the transmission started messing up. I would highly suggest not coming to this company as they will screw your vehicle up just to get work. If it was my personal vehicle I would be suing them

I first would like to thank Bernie, the store manager, for his sincerity and taking care of me. I had originally come in to get my breaks checked. I then found out my rotars had warped. So they fixed them and I was on my way. A few weeks or so later I began feeling a wobble which was coming from my wheel. I soon find out the spacers I have on my jeep are also warped. Knowing Tires Plus was the last location I had work done I went there and spoke with Bernie to figure things out. After a bit of digging he finally figured out that they had damaged my spacers when removing/applying them causing the wobble in the wheels. He happilly admitted the mistake they made and the damage that had been made and took full responsibility and replaced them. Not one business is perfect. But it takes a lot to admit when you may have messed up. As we all say, sh** happens.I appreciate it and would definitely recommend this location for any future maintenance.

Amazed and completely shocked by what I encountered today. The people at this location have a total lack of respect for customers and their cars. Apparently nobody who works there has ever seen or heard a higher horse powered car, or driven stick because the guy who drove it on and off the lift felt the need to continuously rev my car to the rev limiter, right in front of my own eyes! And he was moving about half an mile per hour down the parking lot. When I asked the manager if this guy knew how to drive stick shift, he did not know. He later tried to tell me that the technician is used to driving volkswagens. And they couldnt even show me what my alignment looked like because their printer was broken. And this all took 2 hours to do, and they got my car in just 5 minutes after i got there. When the technician came in with my keys, he would not even look at me, no apology, nothing. Very dissatisfied and will not be bringing my car back to this location!

I also gave one star only to write this review . This place sucks and I feel are dishonest . We took our truck in last Saturday for an alignment. And tire rotation . Picked it up and was given some graph like they analyzed it . My husband notices the tires are not rotated . He walks back in and asks the guy if they rotated the tires he says yes. Min later the guy comes out and says they didnt rotate tires and gives some blah blah excuse . So he lied, I guess thinking we wont notice . It drives like it was never touched. We called and he starts making excuses about tires . So we ask, to have it done right how much are tires . He says he will get us a good deal . He will call mon, MONDAY no call, husband calls wed, HE says he will call that afternoon . . Still nothing . Thanks for NOTHING we took to another place and they said it wasnt done right and we should go get money back .

I am so disappointed in this companys business model. This is the first 1 star review I have ever given. (Feel free to check)Tires Plus and Firestone Car Care Center both fall under the umbrella of this bad review.I am an account holder with a healthy credit limit here which means that if something is wrong, Im probably going to pull the trigger pretty easily. Thats why businesses have credit accounts. To make it easy to buy.I went into this location today with a tire wobble expecting to spend about $400 on tires. No problem.I walk in, explain that I have a tire wobble at 30mph and ask if they can take a look and see if I need tires. The response is.... we have a special on our inspections and its only 9 bucks.Seriously... you want to charge me 9 bucks just to see that I need to spend 400 or so on tires? An expense Im already planning on? Thats insanity defined.About 6 months ago I had a similar incident with Firestone in Gainesville. They charged me 90 bucks to tell me that i needed to spend 400. In actuality, i left there, went to auto zone, spent 6 bucks and fixed the issue in the parking lot myself with the help of a gentleman who happened upon me. Long story but thats the nickle version.Clearly their business model is designed to support them via inspection fees. They have no loyalty to regular customers nor do they have the wisdom to capitalize on their own established marketing strategies (credit accounts) to sequence ino bigger sales. Theyre busy stepping over dollars picking up quarters.I drove 15 minutes past a handful of similar vendors to offer them my 400 dollars today. Now Im headed to Glenns Auto and Tire in Cocoa where they understand the value of a customer and they actually care if their customers are safe. They recognize that caring about their customers and taking care of their safety is what drives sales.By the way, the parking lot at tires plus is empty, all of the bays are empty and there are 4 employees sitting inside doing nothing. I will bet you 9 bucks Glens will be backed up. I wonder why that is....As a matter of fact, I better call Glens and make an appointment.Wake up Tires Plus. Youre shooting yourself in the foot.

I have been depending on Tires Plus at Merritt Island for over 30 years. I can never say enough good things about TY and the rest of the TEAM that work very hard to fix any and all automobile problems...no matter how big or how small. Anyone that has problems with them, probably has problems everywhere else. They cant be more sincere or more accommodating. My kids have learned to depend on them and NOW my grandkids. I know when any of our automobiles leave Tires Plus on Merritt Island they are safe 2 drive and if any of us have questions they will get answered honestly and fairly.

Dropped the truck off for tires to be replaced on a Sunday. Didn’t think I’d make it back before they closed at 4. Worked it out with both managers on staff to leave the vehicle outside after they closed. Pull in at 430 yo see our truck locked up inside. I do not understand why there are so many negative reviews. I have used the Merritt Island store for 12 years, mostly for tires. I buy tires by the set, and always with the lifetime rotate and balance option. The pricing is competitive, and the service is excellent.

After having some work done noticed dirt on my head liner above drivers seat. Went back, they said they didnt have the cleaner to clean it. I was not happy. Will not return.

Went to get a tire plugged because they are the only place open on Sunday five minute job said they would patch it for 30 bucks thought that was outrageous but i just wanted it done went to the bathroom came out 20 minutes later they had the hood up for what reason I dont know the salsman said they couldnt fix it because the nail was to far on the edge and said i need a new tire at the same time he was telling this poor old guy his brake job was going to be 700$ needless to say I wont ever go there again got my tire plugged for 5 bucks at J and G Tire and Wheels of 520 and clear lake this morning it took 5 minutes tires plus are con artists they should kill themselves Im not sorry I plugged up the toilet

I just got the oil changed and tire rotation. Eventually,I got new wheel studs because two of the studs was broken in the left wheel in the back. and Im glad They let me know that.A couple of downsides, first, they said I will wait an hour, but I waited an hour and a half. If I did not checked the car myself, I could have waited longer. Second, even though, I fully trusted them and their work, they seemed that they dont trust costumers. After they finish the oil change and tire rotation, I told them I need to go to grab more money to pay for the wheel studs because I did not have enough money, so, I went to grab money from my mother. They seemed that they did not believe that I would come back. How did I know that? Because they insisted many times that got the wheel studs fixed and they need to bring the parts. However, I have already told them Im coming back to get them fixed.Eventually, I came back to get them fixed, and I could see the surprise on their face.. LOL.. Beside, they said you came back!! Hahaha. Yes, I came back because I said I will.I dont blame them. I look like untrusted person. ..Maybe because of the hat I was wearing. .. LOLOverall, excellent service and nice employees.I would recommend.

Took my truck in for tire rotation and balance because i bought tires from them. I was getting some vibration at 45 miles per hour and now my truck is making a right turn when I let go of my steering wheel and I still have the vibration. I will not go back there. Going to take it to Gattos. I also gave them one star because l had to. The tires that I bought from them are about shot with only 15,000 miles.Manager called me and said they wanted to resolve this problem and gave me a new set of tires and corrected the alignment problem they were very nice and my truck now drives straight. It is good to see that they are listening to there customers👍

Over charged my wife by $20 for an oil change.. before she paid I called and they adjusted the price only after we complained, mentioned my other vehicles have never been charged that amount for a simple oil change and we also had to show an online special offer; which I have never done..

Say one thing do another, charge for faulty TPMS sensors post tire installation. Light was not present until they assaulted my vehicle. Put a tire directional tire on backwards.....how does that work? Sub $300 quote becomes borderline $500 due to their f&*(kery....nice people at least, on the outside....lil poonbots on the inside.Enjoy your sensors asshatz

Bad customer service as well as lack of communication, Worked on my vehicle without my permission and tried charging me $711.08 worst auto shop to go to. Do things there not suppose to do i do not recommend this location .
