The absolute best experience I have ever had renting a Uhual. Ms Mary was so respectful and knowledgeable about everything, I left feeling comfortable and well taken Care of. The customer service I experienced was literally the best I have had since I’ve been in the city of Memphis. I’m so grateful and thankful for the ladies here. They both need a raise and promotion. Staff was nice and helpful BUT the uhaul was in horrible repair I had to drive with my hand out the window to hold the side view mirror up so I could see and drive safely. Read door extremely hard to close a big muscular man even had problems closing it. Ramp was hard to get lockedWrong key to the lock so could not lock the trailerVery bouncy and loose drive. Way too expensive at .99 a mile plus the fee to rent. For that price it should have had no problems. Staff did what they could but it didn’t help my drive. Also they reported the wrong amount of fuel when I picked up and tried to say I didn’t have enough but I did and luckily I had a picture of the beginning fuel gauge AND the odometer reading.I rented here as a last resort because no one else had trucks available I would not rent there again without checking everything with a fine tooth comb.Good luck

Service was quick compared to a couple other local locations I have done business with. Very personable, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Would recommend!

The manager(a african american male) was extremely rude and extremely dismissive when my problem was explained(we had misplaced the keys to the truck and was trying to see if they had back up keys) the front counter person was doing all she could to assist but the manager says not my problem and offered no help. I feel like just because you are in the Frayser community does not mean you get to treat the people any type of way. I will not be suggesting this location to any one because of the customer service

The store and team are awesome. You can buy boxes to pack up your stuff, a truck to move it and a storage space to put it all in the same place. Its a one stop shop! The U-Haul on Watkins ROCKS!

This staff needs more training. We literally asked if the truck had a lift before she ran our card and she said yes. Guess what? No lift so she gave us a 3-5 day refund. We asked if they had trailers with a solid ramp and she looked at us like we were crazy and said, no, we don’t have anything like that. No U-Haul does. Well, guess what? There were two sitting in the parking lot when we walked out. The guy working there basically sat the whole time and let her help all the customers. She mumbled under her breath that she couldn’t believe he still didn’t know how to use the propane fill station. Slow and terrible service.

Personnel knew their jobs technically but didnt appear customer service oriented. It was as if this side of town didnt require such. I paid for dolly during reservation but it was not with truck. At end of rental I received credit for dolly but coldness from agent.

The mileage is set up, so it can look as if you went more miles than you actually did. I went, 17 miles each direction and I was told I went 100+ miles... They’re scamming the customers.

The over the phone reservation went well, however, when we arrived 5 minutes late to pick up the truck, there was an hour wait, and not because they were busy. After the time passes they tell us that the truck couldnt start because the last individuals didnt put gas in it, and that they would have to refund the money because they dont have any GAS CANS!!!! All of these vehicles and no gas cans? We then went and got gas and brought it back, and the truck still wasnt clean! 3 hours after we were scheduled to pick up and leave!! These people are SAD.

Love this Uhaul. This is my family second rental in 3 months. Johnnetta was very helpful both times.

She was very sweet and professional, she answered all my questions, and got me in and out no time at all.

It was not the place but the attendant who helped usto find a storage was very lost and confused and spent a lot of time finding the proper key to the proper Storage.

Order a 20 truck. Talk to 2 workers who have a attitude. I also ask for a 2 wheel dollie that I ordered. No dollie, truck had no gas, then one of them had to clean the truck. The windshield was so dirty you could not see oit of it. Poor customer service!

Worst customer service experience Ive ever had. Was there for 6 hours waiting for my two u-boxes. During my wait, another customer came in saying theyd waited 8 hours the day before to get a trailer. Two people were working that day; one didnt know how work the register or forklift, and was essentially useless as he walked around the store complaining about how he hated his job and was going to quit. I felt bad for the other fellow who was simply swamped with customers and apparently hadnt been trained on the computer system. The day later, When I talked to the manager to sort out billing concerns, she hung up on me when I was politely explaining my frustrations from the prior day. Really insulting.

I have been trying to contact them for three days about a set of missing keys and have not been able to get them on the phone once. Very frustrating.

They are always nice and friendly. I use a cargo van quite frequently.

If I could give ZERO stars I would!! Terrible location/area, the worker was late getting to the facility after I had been waiting an hour & half… he explained the reason I couldn’t drop the key in the box is because the night before the box was stolen & several trucks were stolen from this property. Apparently this happens often at this location so beware if you come here after hours. The worker also told me people steal the trucks & sell the catalytic converter‘s on the trucks every week & can’t keep the box outside because people steal the keys & box right off the wall! Do NOT leave keys or truck @ this location or you’ll most likely be responsible for it. AVOID AT ALL COST!
