We used Guardian Moving Systems several times and have been very pleased with their service. Recently, we moved from out of state, back to Cordova, TN. Our group of movers took their time, were kind and friendly, and were able to get all of our things back to TN without any breakages. It should be noted, we had a semi truck full of furniture. They all work well together like a well oiled machine, regardless of which team we have had the pleasure to work with at that time. I have always been happy with their hard work, time management, job well done, prices, and their professional team. I gave them 5 Stars. I’ve never been dissatisfied or disappointed. Guardian was recommended to me by a colleague after I couldnt find anyone to move my dads gun safe to my house after he passed and it had to be moved within a couple weeks. They quoted me a fair price and it ended up being less than they quoted. The pickup location was a little treacherous (would have to come across grass and up a hill with this 550 lb. safe. The three man team was professional and fast.I wasnt sure if after they saw the hill they would turn around and leave but no, the team leader Derrick walked up to the safe grabbed hold and pulled it out from the wall and turned it and then Toris and Brandon jumped right in and they carefully but quickly had the safe out the door and up the hill in no time. The drop off was even quicker, and the safe was delivered just like it left, and because of Guardian, I now have something of my dads that I can cherish and pass down, and I wasnt even sure if it could be moved. I used Guardian to move a all glass China Cabinet from Memphis to Collierville. They arrived at the time they said they would be there. The 2 men were extremely careful to wrap the cabinet so carefully so the glass would not be damaged. They were very polite. I have had family members and friends who used them for moving and they were so pleased with them that I decided to use them when I needed them. I could not recommend Guardian more. This was my first time hiring a moving company, so I was a little apprehensive about the whole process, specifically the cost and level of care/attention to detail. Barry and DeSean blew me away. They were friendly, but very much focused on executing an efficient, careful transport of my furniture and belongings from my apartment in midtown to my new home in Germantown.The process began with Wes in sales, who was very communicative and straight forward with regard to costs, resources needed, and time estimates. He was responsive to all of my questions and concerns along the way, and when moving day came, Barry and DeSean arrived and took care of everything.Wes provided me with a very reasonable estimate- 1 van, 2 movers, 6 hours, and a flat $75 truck fee.Barry and DeSean showed up with the biggest moving truck I have ever seen and finished the job in 3 HOURS, 45 MINUTES!!To boot, my toddlers crib could not be moved without being disassembled, a fact I had not anticipated. Barry took it apart and re-assembled it at my new place, taking extra care to make sure every screw was as tight as possible, given it was for a child. This really warmed my heart, as it was not something he made a big show about, but was something I knew he was doing.And that was it. No extra charges or fine print. They also provided a couple boxes that were very helpful, no charge for those.Total cost was $75 truck fee + $450 ($120 X 3.75). That is all in with tax, so $525. Please understand that the rate ($60/hr per mover) is subject to change and fluctuates based on demand.Again, thank you Guardian for such a positive experience. I am the type who holds service providers to high standards, and I will let them know, one way or the other, what my experience was like. This one could not have been better.If I could give them 10 out of 5 stars, I would.

I am a seasoned mover with at least 20 under my belt. Ive had good movers, bad movers and then Guardian. They are great movers. This most recent move was helping a relative downsize. Linda was great to work with and left no detail to the imagination. The crew of 3 arrived on time, were pleasant, professional, and moved items with care. About 3 weeks later I needed help to load remaining furniture to a POD, and of course I called Linda again. Received the same exceptional service from Linda and the moving crew. Im sure Ill be using them again!

Helped a friend downsize and move to a senior living facility during the pandemic. What a nightmare. We could not have done this if we had not used Guardian Moving Systems. We encountered several issues along the way (had to store furniture prior to estate sale, difficulty downsizing, last minute broken washer, could not help our senior friend unpack because of pandemic) and the Guardian crew helped us successfully address each and every issue that arose. Guardian moved all of our furniture from Bartlett to Millington with efficiency and gentleness. They took care of our furniture by wrapping it with blankets. They loaded that truck perfectly taking advantage of every ounce of space. Derrick is the man!! Justin worked with us on pricing and was 100% available for questions! I own a local retail store and have been using Guardian Moving Systems for several years to do our bed and recliner deliveries. Some which can be complex and they always do a great job. Be confident that you will be taken care of and that if everything doesnt go perfectly, as happens sometimes in life and in business, they will work with you to get it resolved.

A new employer gave me a professional opportunity that included relocating halfway across the country. Having an established home with belongings I value and unique pieces that needed relocating, I was concerned about accepting the offer solely based on the move aspect. After the first time I spoke with Sue Luebeck from Guardian Moving Systems all of these concerns were erased and my career change took motion. Sue was incredible. She was always in contact and made herself available even when I was stressed over issues not worthy of stress. She was patient, listened and acted upon concerns, always followed through on commitments, and all schedules she arranged were kept by all involved. One step further, Sue was to assist in moving a special vehicle for me, to simply establish contact with another company. The company did not uphold their communications or schedules however Sue dedicated time ensuring they completed their responsibilities, communicated with me all of their agreed upon time commitments, and followed up with me so this part of my move went smoothly also. None of this was hers to do but she was right there for me, no hesitation, and always a positive voice taking care of me.The Team Sue arranged to pack and load my life were such hard working, polite gentlemen who were so respectful and careful with my belongings there was no doubt my household would arrive safely and undamaged. They worked very hard, in hot and humid conditions, yet never a negative word out of their mouths and smiles the entire time.Once my household was on the road Sue gave me status updates and when everything reached its destination Sue immediately called to let me know all arrived safely.I sincerely can not even imagine having moved 1700 miles without Sue being the person who took care of all that means so much to me - those things in my life that make my house a home.

I recently moved from Jackson, MS to Memphis, TN with all my belongings in a giant Uhaul. Moving is hard no matter the distance you travel, but my biggest concern was getting all of my stuff to the second floor of the house I was moving to. I contacted the owner of Guardian Moving company and they said they would gladly come out and help us with the furniture. The two gentlemen that came to the house were Trevor and Derrick. They were courteous and on time and never complained when I had specific request about where the furniture went. I would highly recommend this company!!

After spending 20 years in the military and dealing with disastrous moves with the lowest cost carriers, it was absolutely refreshing to deal with a team that cared and who were consummate professions. During a time of great stress Guardian Moving took much of it away. The office staff was courteous and very willing to accommodate my wishes. The movers were prompt. They called to say they were on the way and got to work immediately when they were shown what to move. They took great care of my furniture, picture, and huge wall mirror. Great experience with Guardian Movers... Three man team was professional, efficient, & thorough in the packing and move across the county. They were fantastic to work with and stayed in communication during the whole process... from estimate given & expected arrival times on the day of move. Will definitely use them again & highly recommend this company.

Do yourself a big favor and stay far away from this company. They use deceitful practices to lure you in and then when the day arrives you are most likely stuck unless you can find another mover on short notice. In our case, problems started immediately when they showed up with a truck that was already half full with someone elses stuff. As a result they had to take multiple trips in order to move all of our things. I immediately called their office to complain and make sure that we wouldnt get charged for the extra transit time for multiple trips. They said we had to pay for all transit time and then had the nerve to blame us for not accurately describing how many items we had to move. My wife previously had given them a detailed and accurate accounting of all items to be moved and even called back to update the list when we had acquired a few new items. Between the extra transit time and the fact that they totally low balled their estimate to get us in the door, the total bill was twice as much as the estimate they quoted us on the phone. These guys are shady to the core. They know they have you over a barrel once they arrive and have no qualms about blatantly screwing you over once they get there. Stay far away from them, there are plenty of other movers out there.

VERY disappointed in my service with you all. My mother and I used your moving company and didnt receive our belongings until a month and 5 days after even though we were guaranteed a fast move with a contract. After wearing the same clothes for a month received our belongings broken and scratched up. My brand new headboard was broken. 2 of our dinning room table chairs were broken in half. You would think after all the hassle we would have received a discount but we did not! We instead received rude customer service. Finally after saying enough is enough, we asked to speak the owner and they still have not called us back. You would think after giving someone $10,000 worth of business they would at least bring your items on time, not damaged, and have good customer service. Sadly, this company is very unprofessional and I would never recommend this to my worst enemy!! Im very upset!!

I used their company to move all of my stuff from Nashville to Memphis. I used one of their 16 SAM containers for about 5 rooms worth of furniture! It was the best experience Ive ever had moving! They delivered on time and since it was a container, I was able to take my time loading it. Which relieved a lot of the stress that I normally get when moving. Then I called them and they came to pick it up and deliver it to my new home. It was such a smooth process! I cannot rave enough about how friendly and accommodating they were. Their prices were better than the other moving companies I looked up and thankfully they didnt bog me down with a bunch of extra fees (like most moving companies). I highly recommend this company!!

Experienced movers run by a highly experienced owner. My wife and I have used Guardian for all our moves since 2013. Moving back from Europe, two more domestic moves since then and our friends have used them for their moves. My parents relocated and downsized after 45 years and there was only one company I would trust to handle their things-Guardian. You won’t find a company run with more integrity. Whether a local move in the Mid-South area or across the country- Guardian is the way to go. It’s also nice to know that even if you did have a problem along the way, you would be able to speak to the owner of the company and he will make things right. That’s some great peace of mind.

I utilized multiple times in the past year Guardian storage pods. Each time the delivery and return of units were on time. The employees were excellent to work with. Rates are very reasonable.

Great experience. I have a 160 year old canopy bed that has been in my family since it was made. After my mother passed away I needed to get the bed to my home which was 3 hours away. I was extremely nervous and they were very informative with all of my questions.Guardian movers were awesome!They moved it without a scratch.
