I have been going to the Bison Vision Clinic for over 30 years and have never had anything but a positive experience. Dr. Smith is very personable and treats clients with care and respect, giving the best eye care. He is knowledgeable and explains information clearly and thoroughly. His staff person, Cindy, is friendly, completely competent, and easy to work with.

I went to Bison Vision to support a local independent business, what a mistake! An eye exam was performed, and a prescription was written. I have optical insurance that Bison said was accepted. However, after declining to purchase Bison’s overpriced glasses, most of the services were then bill as “medical” procedures. Seriously, an eye exam is a medical procedure??? My optical insurance carrier asked them to resubmit the bill with the correct optical coding, but they refused. As a result, I am hit with a $427.83 “medical” bill. In addition, I received a letter threatening collections before I even received their bill. Are they being punitive because I didn’t buy their grossly inflated glasses? It sure seems that way to me. Like other reviewers, I recommend people avoid Bison Vision Center and go somewhere else… anywhere else!

We where referred to Dr. Smith for a special type of eye exam, do to my husbands concussion . Dr. Smith was wonderful with his test sharing info with us, very understanding & compassionate .

The doctor was great, but it was the most incompetent billing process I have ever dealt with. We received threats of being turned to collections when they didnt even send the statement to inform us about a debt, followed up by learning they did not even enter our address to receive statements, attempt to call us, or even have our insurance in the system. Absolutely horrible experience. Do not go there.

Great place for improving your vision, you can count of Dr. Smith and Bison Vision Center for giving you nothing but the best eye care, and Cindy, Dr. Smiths assistant is right on top of it. Never refer you for unnecessary surgeries and always have you best interest first. I have been going for 20 years and find them to be the best.Peggy Robinson

I have been a customer of Bison Vision Clinic for the past 15 years. I find Dr. Smith and his staff to be knowledgeable and have never tried to sell me more than I need. I will continue to use Bison Vision Clinic as long as I have vision needs.

Ive been seeing dr. Smith since I was 4 years old (for 20 years) . Bison Vision Staff is like family to me. Ive always been treated with care and respect. Dr. smith has gone above and beyond to help me with my vision!

Have never had an eye exam done before and I needed glasses and wanted to stay local. Staff and Dr. were super friendly and made me feel welcome, best doctors visit ever!

This business was given the wrong number, consequently when they tried to reach me, they scheduled the appointment without my knowledge and the woman at the front desk was very rude. I would suggest going to a different business if you want professional help.
