Bought a used car within few weeks it broke down....repaired. broke down again...4 months later after they had the car had to junk it it needed new engine out 3,000 dollars would not recommend them for car repair...towing maybe

Not only does Tim own and operate his towing company, he sells used cars. He has a ton of different choices and hes willing to work with you. As far as Im aware no car is unworthy to be offered up as a trade in. Hes a very helpful and trustworthy guy. Id definitely take a look at his stock if youre looking for a used car!

Helped me out at the last minute to unstick a skidsteer on a steep hill. Was willing to come out on a Sunday evening and was quick to remedy the situation for me.

Ive been using Ankenbrandts for over twenty years In my world, if you find a good company you stick with them. Then tonight my car went on the fritz, overheated fuse block burned a connector. So i called my go to people: Ankenbrandt. Nice lady, took down the info and said someone would be out. Hot day, no air and no facilities around, i waited an hour and a half with nobody showing. Called and was told my truck was diverted to a crash. No one called to tell me this. Great service guys. So now itll be another hour. Contacted a friend to use a AAA tow. AAA on their way, i called Ankenbrandt to cancel, but the call wont go through. Voicemail not set up. So, 20 minutes of trying with no answering, about 7 attempts. But i carry two phones, so i called on the other and got right through. My calls were being blocked on the other line. That was more than enough to sever my business relationship. Plenty of companies operate better than this.

These guys were there for me when I needed a car everyone was kind and courteous they asked us what worked best for us it wasnt about them it was about how they could help us and I really really appreciated that we were in a tough spot and needed a vehicle Im raising my grandchildren and Tim Jr stepped up and told us to come and pick out something from his lot thank you again Ankenbrandts

I have sat in the lot of this business since 1 pm with my 3 kids in a car to come look at a tow truck they have for sale, it is now 6pm... very unprofessional very rude and not on time. Not to mention I drove from Columbus Ohio which they knew I was coming and we had to get ties and wait on the to service the tow truck

Good service and would recommend them to anyone. They allowed me to schedule (and even reschedule) a pick up time to have my vehicle towed from my home to my desired location without me even having to be there. All transactions were completed over the phone.

Great service, these guys have bailed me out of a jam multiple times when my car left me stranded. Even in the middle of the night. Once they pick you up they will take and drop you and your vehiclr anywhere it needs to go.

These people came out to tow a car next door...then proceeded to alter things on my property to do his job. What ticked me off is, he then left! Without putting things back the way it was. I called the shop to let them know. The owner told it wasnt his truck! Really!!! I only watched them the whole time...not to mention the number I called came from his truck!!! I also told him I have a disability, its difficult for me to get around. You would of thought he would if nothing else Apologize...Thanks for nothingThen later writing a response...PETTY ! l expected the same. If it was JUST a garbage CAN you would think he could have taken care of it! NOT! Looking for better people to deal with!!!

Ive only used them for tows to the mechanic but, both times they arrived in a very timely manner. The driver was very polite and helpful both times and the charge was reasonable and consistent. Id recommend using them to anyone in the area.

Good prices exceptional service

Sold me a 2004 Honda Civic as a clean title. Told me they had to go somewhere to get the title, brought it back the next day in an envelope, handed it over and headed out as quickly as they could. When I got to the title bureau, I opened the envelope to find a salvage rebuilt title. The vehicle is worth about 40% the value of a clean titled vehicle. When I called, Tim told me it wasnt a salvage title. Hes now dodging my calls.

Ok, so my car ran out of gas and these guys towed my car in less than 30min right before i got back with gas for it. Now they are closed until tuesday and still charge $25 a day regardless. How is this even right. How can this owner even sleep at night knowing how bad he hurts people and their families?

My car stopped cold at Mama Cs on Conant Street today(Sunday). They sent out a very patient young man, named Ed to assist me in not only towing my vehicle but getting it tow ready. Battery completely tanked rendering the vehicle inoperable. Couldnt get the car from park to neutral. Ed stayed with it till we were able to break the problem down and succeed in achieving the tow. Price was half what I thought I might pay on a Sunday!

I was run off the road at 4:30 this morning. They answered the phone, showed up quickly, and got my f250 out of the ditch, up the hill, and back on the road for a good price.

Had my oil change and car checked over. Very good service.Nice attention to details.

DO NOT USE THESE THIEVES. I highly advise to go anywhere except to Ankenbrandts you will be ripped off. Not only are they rip offs, they have terrible customer service. I am not the only one that is feeling this way from the reviews below.

This company is crooked and unethical. A 100 dollar city ordered tow due to the vehicle being parked after a snow emergency was declared while we were out of town turned into a $223.00 charge after a $25 dollar labor fee, $12 dollar fuel fee, 2 1/2 day storage fee, and $14.28 in taxes were added on. Rude, arrogant and deceptive. Oh, and cash only. I am calling the BBC and the States Attorney General to look into their business practices and taxes. Shame on them.

They sell you vehicles saying they were owned by a family member however they dont tell you whats wrong.....cover up the problem. Vehicle only lasts a couple of months.

Trash people when I called gave me terrible attitude

Due to the recent snow storm i had busted a leaf spring on my work job trailer i was referred to ankenbrandts by someone else so i called them for the tow they out my trailer on a flatbed and when they did they scraped the back of the trailer and tore off the molding and bend the aluminum, i called them about it and they asked me to bring it by so they could see the damage, they day i went by there shop a guy came out (im assuming the owner) was already all mad that i was even there, like how dare i question them. anyways he glanced at the damage quickly then started walking around my trailer pointing out every little thing wrong with it well what about this dent and what about that and i told him that wasnt a issue and he stated do you ever wash this thing meanwhile talking down to me like i was wasting his time and because my trailer was dirty from the road and it has a couple dings it i was suppose to just forget that they damaged my trailer. finally after realizing he wasnt going to do anything about this not even say im sorry or anything, i told him forget about it and i would never refer them to anyone, so therefor i do NOT recommend this company they made no effort to keep my business even after my $175 towing bill...

Friendly family owned very fair and fixed what was needed

TOTAL CROOKS...My son got into an accident on Friday night and Saturday morning I wanted to get his car out and they tell me its $224.00 CASH ONLY. Because its a police tow its cash only ???? So I said I would not be able to get the cash until Monday, I only had a credit card they said it would cost $231.85 on Monday. So I call on Monday with cash ready to head there and ask the price and the crooks say its $269.00 now. This is who the police use ? My son had a AAA card in his wallet and the police would not let him use the FREE tow. The kid makes $10.00 hr and the system is so crooked from the police to towing company kids cant get ahead.
