Purchased a new Toyota from them which was a great experience considering it was during low inventory COVID times. Kyle was a straight shooter as they say and didnt have any games like so many do. Got us a great price for our trade-in (vs other dealers and also Carvana) and didnt want it immediately while we went carless like another dealership... The staff was clearly overworked but they never lost their cool. Too many customers were waiting for their cars. Yark probably needs to allow more time for each appointment booked so as to not get so fat behind.

I spent a lot of time on the lot (30 min). No one came out to help. I went inside and there was 5 guys standing around. The youngest approached and I asked if they were open. Very polite young man who helped me test drive two vehicles. There prices were well over retail. Salesman never got back with me on price. Bought a beautiful car elsewhere the next evening. This would be a nice place to go if your looking for a beater. Thier lemon lot in the back has plenty to choose from.

I was so lucky to find Yark Toyota when I was traveling from Maine to Chicago and picked up a nail in a tire. It was Friday afternoon and they took care of me. It wasnt where we expected to hang out before dinner but we were grateful for the excellent service.

The service was done the way that I asked, and in a timely fashion. The service department was honest about work that I’d need on my vehicle, sharing me with that there are some things that I need to have done to my van, but not pressuring me into getting something done that isn’t an emergent need. I called back later in the day to get some clarification, and they were very helpful over the phone answering my questions so I understood the time table for the maintenance that I’ll need done.

Using diligence I would recommend not buying a vehicle from Yark Toyota nor an extended warranty because it means nothing if the vehicle is under warranty and they are making you sign for a diagnostic fee. A Transmission is under warranty.

I was traveling from Michigan to Connecticut when my Tacoma was struck by lightning. I had the truck towed to the closest Toyota dealer and the was Yark. Even though it was late in the day, they took me straight in. Excellent and responsive team from service manager Jim Raber to service advisor Dave Hilbert. Update since this review: I contacted the service manager like he requested. He said that he knew nothing about the vehicle and said that he would have the GM contact me. So far, no contact. I then noticed that my temp registration had expired on 8/3 but I have not received the paperwork to get it registered. I have called the finance dept 3 times in just over a week and even emailed but have not been contacted. This has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had and will not recommend them to anyone!Our salesman, Joe, was very helpful. The service department, though, was not good. Vehicle was not ready when we were there. They said that they serviced the car and fixed the air conditioner. But some how, they missed the broken motor mounts that our mechanic found when doing a normal check. I have tried to contact the dealership but no one has responded. Not very professional.

Michele was the service advisor for my regular maintenance on Toyota. She has a pleasant demeanor and explained all the details of the service. When asked for the details regarding Tires she gave me all the info with possible options. Keep up the good work.

Although it was costly (even with a 10% discount), Paul and then John helped us get a second key for our car that I lost! They were quick and even checked our tire pressure and washed the car! Yark is our ‘go to’ place.

Received a bill, after service,which lasted maybe 15 minutes,for over $70. I supplied the part and all that had to be done was to remove 1 screw,remove a resistor,put my new resistor in,,plug in wire, and re attach 2 screwsAbsolutely no removal of any other parts and work area was was easily accessible under glove box.At the very least, I would have appreciated a general estimate of cost prior to work done.

Very poor customer service experience.I have been car shopping for the better half of the month, and finally made an appointment for a pre owned Toyota (I spoke with Fitz) . When I arrived at the dealer, I was not spoken to or helped in any way and sat for 40 minutes while I watched my salesman help another customer who was spending money on a new car. (Mind you I had reserved this appointment and test drive)If you’re like me and can’t afford a new car and just want to finance used, this is NOT the place to go. Wonderful experience at Yark Toyota Maumee Service Department -- brought the car in due to a soft rear tire and was readily welcomed by Michelle even though we did not have an appointment. The problem was diagnosed and I was sent a video of the nail in the tire that caused the problem. Michelle explained the options to us and the car was returned to us in great shape. Giving them 3 stars. My appointment was at 2:30 and I was able to get right in, it only took 30 minutes for my oil change which was great. But when I scheduled my appointment I specifically stated I needed my washer fluid filled and wanted my air filter changed because it was smelly in my car, they said okay. When I got there I made sure to say “hey my washer fluid is empty” and the guy said “yeah that’s apart of the oil change we’ll fill it.” After telling me my car was done I asked if they changed the filter and he said it was fine and to look myself to see if the rain water was causing the smell. And when I pulled off my dashboard still said “service: washer fluid low” I assumed it would go away, but after checking under the hood it’s still EMPTY. So not too happy about that. Hopefully they get their process together for the next time.

My daughter’s window went off track early this morning. She has prom tonight and needed the car. They got her in right away and did a great job! Thank you!

The Yark in Perrysburg sent me to the Yark In Maumee where I was told my coupon was not valid because it was a Perrysburg coupon. I came here earlier today when I had trouble starting up my Toyota prius hybrid. They did a multipoint inspection, found the issue, informed me of the it and let me decide what action to take, and I was out in a decent amount of time. I would gladly come back here. I had a better experience at this Toyota than Jim White Toyota in Sylvania where they took me to the cleaners, charging me $700 in services I didnt give my approval on after coming in for routine maintenance to get my oil and filter changed. Yark Toyota will treat you right, and Jim White Toyota will not. Thank you David for your great service today :)

Service Representative Nick was a pleasure to work with. 2 Safety Recalls were handled, and an excellent 2021 Highlander hybrid was loaned - wonderful vehicle and will have to consider for my next autopurchase. We had a really great experience today! Gregory M. He is a really good person to do business with. I can tell that he cares. Which means he is an excellent employee. He is really an honest person to do business with.

I took my Tundra in for a routine LOF, tire rotation and to replace my passenger heated/powered mirror ($350) which I think a car wash probably broke... so, no problem, I didn’t think it would be cheap, so I had it replaced... Then I told them about a not so routine issue... numerous coolant leaks around my water pump and hoses... Funny thing is, I had my water pump replaced at my previous visit 10K miles prior? They told me my leaks had nothing to do with my previous water pump replacement??? I’ll admit I don’t get under my hood regularly... shame on me... but, I’m sorry, I believe I’ve been deceived. You just don’t all of a sudden develop a bunch of coolant leaks out of the blue. So, over $800.00 later, I don’t think I’ll be going back to Yark Toyota!

If you are having any services done at Yark Toyota I would recommend requesting to have Dave as your service representative. He is highly knowledgeable, a great communicator and cares about his/Yarks customers. Ive been making quite a few trips to their service department within the last few months and he has been a pleasure to deal with. Car maintenance/repairs can be a headache and he helps alleviate that.

Overall a very good experience! Joe was a great salesmen and let us take the car out on our own and test drive it with no pressure at all.Financing did try to throw some extra hidden charges and coverages onto the sale (Gap Coverage, Warranty, etc.) but were very low pressure when I pointed them out and asked to opt out of them. Just be careful with what they’re charging you and make sure you know exactly what you’re being charged for and exactly what your interest rate, total payment, etc. come out to. You can easily fall into buying extra coverage that you don’t want or need if you aren’t careful.Overall, this was a very easy to deal with, low pressure, and affordable car dealer. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy Used in Toledo.
