This place was amazing. The customer service is awesome, and my car has a new life thanks to the transmission repair. Also, my car wasn’t even in the shop for a week and they make sure you bring it back for a check up! They even assist with payment plans if needed.

My car has been at MR.TRANSMISSION since August 21,2020 and today is March 5 2021. My bill has been payed in full since November 2020, and I have yet to get my car. Alan Polson apparently owns the shop with his wife Tracy. I have heard every excuse under the sun as to why my car is not fixed from.... we are waiting on a part, Covid 19, there are no bays open because we are so far behind, etc. I was promised on Friday Feb.26 that on monday march 1 and I quote from Alan Janette you will be in your car, if not by monday 100% Janette by tuesday your car will be ready. I called and spoke to Perry on tues. and he told me it was not ready but 100% it will be ready wednesday, march 4th. So I got a $20.00 cab to drop me off to pick up my car on wed. only to find no Alan, no Perry, and my car was still parked in the space it was since before thanksgiving. A tech was left to answer phones and I asked for ALAN?PERRY?MY CAR? and no my car would not be ready. I have been in touch with Moran Family brands who oversees MR.TRANSMISSION and a customer service rep. named Alicia since January in hopes Moran Family Brands could be of some kind of help. The only help I have gotten is from there CSR Alicia who cash app me the 20.00 in order to get home of her own money. I feel for her because she is the only one who has had my back but she is limited on what she can do. I have asked to be provided with a loner car until my car is fixed and Alicia said she did not have the power to do that, I would think Moran Family Brands does. Today is March 5 2021 and I have called and spoke to a man named Mike who informed me that they need a bracket and my car will not be fixed until Monday. Mike was nice but at this point my frustration level is off the charts. This is my only vehicle and it has been sitting for 8 months, can you imagine all the other issues I may have because of that? Will I get a warrenty? Where is Alan Polson?Perry? Will I really get my car on Monday?? With the track record my hope is very little. How can Alan treat people, treat me, this way when I drove my car on there lot on August 21 2020 because my car wouldnt go in reverse and I thought by taking it to a specialist I wouldnt get ripped off. I forgot to mention in January I left a bad review on google and was called by Alan to please take it down if he promised me that he himself would work on my car until it was finished. I did my part and took it down taking his word that he would finish my car and he did not keep his word. My only hope is to inform as many people as I can about the horrible treatment and very bad business I have received over the PAST 8 MONTHS from Alan Polson, MR.TRANSMISSION, and Moran Family Brands. The photos below are where my car has been parked since before thanksgiving. It has been left unlocked in the parking lot that has no gate. Im suppose to start a new job Monday and Alicia offered to cash app me more of her money to get an Uber to work on monday, I gracefully declined. Dont you think at this point Moran Family Brands should give me a solution? Im absolutely disgusted at the lack of quality needed for an effective action. Alan Polson, and Moran Family brands should never be considered for any business transactions. Mr. Transmission, The Professionals, The Automotive Outfitters, Milex Complete auto care, and SmartView Window solutions all fall under Moran Family Brands, not sure how these are run, but I will never do business with any of these companies. My only hope is I get a warrenty, I have no issues with my car since it has sat for 8 Months, and I eventually get my car.

Went here to have lower control arm fixed in passenger side. Thankful they were able to assist me. I don’t have any bumping while I drive but now I need brakes. So I’ll be calling them for assistance with those . Happy customer

After searching the area and shopping various transmission repair shops, I decided to allow Marrietta Transmisssion and repair to get the job done. I went out for transmission repair on my car and I was without my car for all of 2 1/2 weeks. It was may be a few days longer than expected however once I receive my car back, my car has been running completely smooth for the past three months. I’ve had no problems. They were very professional and the customer service is friendly. Plus I have an 18 month warranty on the worked done. They get my recommendation.

I should have known from the beginning, by the poor greeting and lack of attention, that this place wasnt the place for me or my vehicle.After having my car for several days while trying to diagnose it, I finally received a call stating the problem. Youll need a new battery and an aftermarket alternator at the tune of $1,200.00.After mentioning how that quote was out of my budget, I was asked, well, what is your budget? Huh?! If you were able to reduce the price why not give me your fairest quote initially?Turned completely off, I declined service and opted to pick my car up to take it elsewhere. Upon arriving, I was given even worse service by a gentleman who was seemingly upset that I asked to have another car moved so I could jump my car off. A different technician came out with a battery booster and jumped my car off. Additionally, he checked my alternator and told me that it checked out well and that I simply needed a new battery.Again, why wasnt I told this initially instead of them attempting to take advantage of me? I took my car to Honda and while I only needed a battery, I got them to quote the battery and a new alternator and their quote came back $500.00 cheaper than this junky place.I vow to never take either of my vehicles here and will strongly advise others to stay clear.

I will update as this issue is resolved: My daughter spoke with Alan the owner, and subsequently had her vehicle towed to this business. Naturally a diagnosis was needed before work was done, however, they asked for a credit card to hold an approximate amount and we used mine.One week later and numerous calls, Alan has not been available and staff has no idea what we are talking about. My card has been charged a substantial amount, no work has been done, and weve also been told that the cost will be much higher. Alan assured my daughter that there would be no pressure to have the repairs done there; that they would just take a look at it. Now were being told that the cost is $600 for doing nothing if we want to move it. 1 star for Alans initial kindness.

My experience at this shop was the worst in my automotive history. They kept my car for 360 days for a repair job which should have taken two weeks. I paid $1000 deposit as requested and still they did not perform the work on my vehicle I requested. They claimed to have sent the driveshaft out for servicing, no evidence of that claim. I finally had to have my vehicle towed from the shop after almost a year of no repair. Additionally, they damaged my car and the mechanic got grease and oil on the seats and floor mats. They treated my classic car with absolutely no regard. I received $350 of my initial $1000 deposit and no invoice of work performed or serviced rendered. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHOP. TOTAL RIP OFF.

I used my tax money to take my car to this place to get the transmission fixed. I had it towed in because the transmission went out on it. They kept my car for 2 months and due to covid was unable to get a few of the parts they needed to fix my vehicle. After they fixed this a few other parts went out. They were able to get these fixed and repaired as well.

Swapped out a transmission for me in an old Jeep and it works great. Had a problem that seemed to be related to the new transmission and they covered it under warranty even after it was determined not to necessarily be a related issue. Communicated very well.

Dont use this business. All they do is waste your time.

Thank you Mr. Transmission Milex Marietta! Unfortunately, I had issues by failing my georgia auto emission test. I begin searching for the nearest and best transmission shops in my area to handle my problem. Mr. Transmission Milex Marietta location came up. I took my truck to them and they were able to provide me with a quick and sound analysis. After setting up an appointment for the next day, they were able to complete the necessary work in a timely manner so that I could pass the emissions test. The cost was quite reasonable considering what I needed done. The staff was very nice, understandable, and professional with handling my needs. The place is very clean with amble amount of space to wait during the service. They have USB ports to charge phones and Bar Style Tables do work while you wait with the free Wifi! If you need some automotive work to your vehicle, don’t hesitate to call this location.

This place always live up to there expectations. Even during covid 19 where in the car industry it is hard to get parts for certain cars. They keep you updated on your vehicle. The owner and the staff has been nice to me entering the place. They break things down to you truthfully.

I was very pleased with the service and friendliness I received at their business. I needed a windshield washer pump installed. I explained to them that I had already purchased the part and just needed it installed. They said no problem and pulled my vehicle right in. In and out in 15 minutes. Thanks guys.

They even asked me to bring it back after 15 days just to check it out for me to make sure all the bells and whistles are working correctly. I should have seen the red flag when he aggressively refused to provide his last name. They run classic bait and switch techniques, turned it over to my attorney. Avoid at all cost!

Worst place ever. Install faulty part that left me stranded and when I tried to get refund gave me the run around. Would NOT recommend or use going forward.

Y;all dont take your car here. It seems appealing to pay a lower price for things, but you get what you pay for. And Alan is THE WORST person to have working for any business. Just take your car to the dealer and save yourself the headache. 9 days later, and I had to have my car towed elsewhwere. Oh, did I mention I just gave them $3300 to replace my transmission a month and a half ago? And now my drivetrain is in my trunk (not the way I brought it to them) and still does not drive.

They did not try to get one over on her & attempt to fix things that were not messed up. He gave her some assurance about their work. Second time going to this shop today and again I would like to say if I could give them 6 stars out of 5 I would. Thought I had an issue and they did their checks and because they couldn’t fix it they gave me the car back, charged my battery up, and referred me to a shop that specialized in electrical free of charge. After dealing with shady businesses for so long it is awesome to find a great mechanic shop with great customer service just wanting to help and do the right thing. I would recommend this to everyone who could use their services with their vehicles.

My Dodge Rams transmission finally needed the professionals, I found these guys and they took great care of me. Alan won my business with detailed explanation of the diagnosis. I needed a rebuild. Alan gave me a great competitive price. (This review is 4 months since rebuild). Transmission is working great and Im reassured in their warranty.

My husband and I live 2 hours away and I was tired of this squeaky noise and we were on South Cobb Drive, so I googled “googled who can fix Range Rovers” and The spirit, of God said call so I did and I talked to a guy name Perry he was so pleasant and nice he told me we’ll come on by and we will take care of you. I had a great experience at Mr. Transmission. I needed to get my brakes checked because they hadnt been replaced in a few years and I live really close to this shop, so I thought I would check it out. They were incredibly organized and friendly. Initially, they just checked to see what would need to be done and gave me an estimate of how much it would cost. I brought my car back in the next week and they had it ready within a few hours. The price was very reasonable and they even cleaned out the inside of my car! I would highly recommend using Mr. Transmission for any auto maintenance needs!

They will take forever with youre car call you and say the entire transmission needs to be rebuilt. Dont be surprised if your valuables turn up missing, when questioned they will get defensive. $3,500 is the cost for any transmission service rebuild so no need (non-luxury) to try and find the price it will change until it gets to $3,500. This place isnt like other Mr Transmissions- go to the Sandy Springs location or just buy a new transmission, it will cost you the same amount. There is absolutely no value in doing transmission work here - it will take 3 months to get your vehicle back, stay away.

I have taken my car to this specific location on Deck Rd. twice to have them check my 2014 Cadillac because I wanted to check out a potential issue. Each time I brought it they always checked it out thoroughly and gave me an honest answer. They never tried to sell me on something I didnt need and they were very nice and professional. I like to deal with people who are honest and trustworthy and I can say that everyone here seems to be just that. I definitely recommend bringing your car here if you are having issues or need an honest opinion.

It is always refreshing to find an honest and reliable business. That is what you can expect to find at Mr. Transmission of Marietta. Alan and his highly trained team are courteous, professional and expert at transmission repair. True to their reputation, they rebuilt the transmission in my 2009 Toyota Corolla. I am so grateful because this Toyota has been a wonderful car. I have been very reluctant to part with it. Now, I dont have to because Alan and his team made it like new again (notwithstanding the 190,000+ miles on it).

I have never like to say anything negative about someone or business but this is what shouldn’t happen to someone else.They Said, they do free transmission diagnostic, then you can decide. I had a transmission light warning that was coming on and off on my car but never stop or act different and took it over there to take a look. So they asked me to leave it and come the next day that’s how beginnings of stress really started in my life.Next day, when I went there I noticed that my transmission was out of my car. And tell me is $1.784.60 to repair and put it back is $1500 . After arguing with them for long, I told them no problem I will pay $1784.60.After few days I went there they started telling me about $2890.99 to get everything done that’s wrong in my transmission. But at first, I didn’t come to fix it...So After arguing again, I even called police and it was saying that we can take them to court... but with all the difficulty, the time that will take and I’m using a rental car pay by myself...After thinking about for a while I decided to fix it and I asked them if that is all they found out about the car? “Yes”Few 2 weeks later I was called back, me thinking of picking up my car. they come up and said they have to rebuild my transmission and that is $4759 almost 5000 and they presented me a program that can help me make monthly payments.We went back and forward arguing... I here talking to 3 different people in different times I come but my car is stock and I don’t know who is the manager or... there’s 3 others guys back with 10 cars and more than 20 cars waiting in front and back...I decided to go ahead and sign up and just get my car back since the rental is to much.Like weeks again I was called that my car is ready. We went there get everything “ warranty” and sign up with the credit... after leaving their parking lot, I was driving behind my car and I noticed other cars acting scared on the road and I noticed part of the car were coming out and the transmission light come up with a warning sign to stop before engine stop.. I called them and took it back. We started another trip back.Like more than 6 times taking it over, I noticed that a different problem added... so I took it to a dealership and they told my transmission never had a problem it was a battery “$340” connect transmission and my car system... I went back and proposed them if they can pay, since I have to pay $4759.I was ask to wait after 2 days to get the answer. I call to see what is the next step but he ask me to bring it back or I should pay myself.I sign up to pay almost 5000, rental car more than 2 months, my car wasn’t fix and I have to go and fix my car some where else and I hope this don’t happen to someone else. I guess for sure they count on their lawyers.Always noticed on how brand of cars they are working on... but master of nothing.

WARNING: It will cost you $1000 for them to even look at your transmission, BEFORE they do any work to it. When you ask for an itemized invoice, you will receive an invoice that says “Qty 1, Labor, $$$”. How many hours did they work on your transmission? Who knows!?! What is their hourly labor rate? They’ll never &@#%ing tell you!! DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TRUST THEM. If you are in need of an honest mechanic who is open and transparent about their rates, look somewhere else.

Mr. Transmission is excellent. They looked at my car as soon as I arrived. The staff were friendly and easily communicated the problem with my car in understandable terms. They fixed my car quickly and only fixed what was necessary. Ill definitely use them again.

Great employees and customer service. Fair prices. You gotta remember you get what you pay for so if it’s too cheap that throws a red flag for me because what corners would they have to cut to do it at an unusual low price. The mechanics are clean and they do quality work my car looks as good as when I dropped it off. Under hood all bolts are there and tightened. I’ve had bad experiences with bad mechanics and now I know the difference between professional work and shade tree work. I would highly recommend Mr. Transmission Delk Rd. For any automotive repair.

Prior to visiting Mr. Transmission, I went to 3 transmission shops only for them to see a woman walking in and thinking theyre going to run a hole in my wallet (and Im bringing my own part)! Initially when i found this place the people seemed so genuine and nice. They make you feel so comfortable at first until they get you car. I was originally quoted one price and also time frame to complete work. After having my car for two weeks i had to call and find out that they were unable to locate the parts for my transmission. 99 percent of our conversations were initiated by me as I started to feel like I was bugging someone I had paid for updates about my car. After about two more weeks they located the parts but they had to be shipped. I constantly called and it was difficult getting accurate information from anyone. Another week went by and I called and was advised that they were shipped the wrong part. Okay things happen so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I had to wait another two weeks because Allan the manager stated he was not going to be in the office one week. The day my car was supposed to have been ready i received a call from Allan stating that someone had hit my car in their parking lot but my car was ready. He asked did I want him to take care of the charges as if I was going to say no. He advised me that my car would be going to the body shop and I could pick it up in 5 days. Well 5 days turned into 8. My fiance was so upset that he called going off because I had paid all this money in advance and after 2 months I still didnt have my car. The staff is not as honest and avoids you when you are calling for updates which is why my fiance got involved. Once he as involved I mysteriously owed money that I never knew of and unfortunately had to pay just to get my car. I finally got my car yesterday and I spent over $3000 which was way over the original quoted price. While waiting, there was two different customers with the same complaints. The receipt was excel generated and there was no way to know what I actually paid for as they created it once I got there. I have never got repairs and didnt get a full breakdown of payments. Anyone can create a spreadsheet This was the worse experience ever with a repair shop. Not saying that every experience is the same but mines was horrible. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

They break down the charges for you so you know exactly what you will be paying for and will notify you if any changes need to be made. I am extremely satisfied with the work done on my truck and would highly recommend Mr. Transmission!

My check engine light came on and these guys were able to help me fix what was wrong with my car and they didn’t hit me over the head like the other few places I called. I would recommend this place.

Do not think twice about this place its been over a month and I got to admit I was scared not knowing anything about this shop. I took a chance and believe me it was a good one, not only I saved hundreds of dollars the staff was by far the best trustworthy and honest staff Ive ever come across in a transmission shop.

They are one of the best transmission shops in the area! I work in a used car lot and if any of the vehicles have a transmission issue we know that Mr. Transmission will fix it.

I was so scared that my transmission had some type of issue for my 2012 Nissan Altima. I almost went to the Nissan dealership and paid $110 just for them to tell me what was wrong. Thank God I Google somewhere where I can check my transmission out for free, Mr. transmission came up, so I brought my car here.I am so glad I did!!!!!!! Josh and Tyler were so nice helpful and informative. The problem wasnt as bad as I thought and Josh offered to fix it since it was a simple fix!!! He could have told me or charged me just about anything I was desperate! Im always scared about people and my car because its my baby not theirs. However, I trust these guys! I will be coming back here any time I have a question or anything. If any money has to be spent Id rather spend it here based on how I was treated today! Alan and his team are great! They have helped me numerous times... and even for free on few little things here and there. They’re attentive, considerate, and great at what they do!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We found Mr Transmission to be very timely and accurate. Mr Transmission took the time to let us know what they found after performing the repair and replacement of flywheel and torque converter. Mr. Transmission of Marietta was excellent when I had some transmission trouble. All the other shops I took my car to wanted a completed replacement totaling over $3200. I had Alan and his team look at it and it turned out I did not need a new transmission and I was able to get my issue resolved for far less than the original estimate I was provided.
