This place is great. I was referred here by another auto shop that is doing my lift on a 2020 Chevy Silverado TB LT. Stacy - is an honest individual to deal with. I bought an after-market, supposedly bolt-on, dual cat back exhaust system which turned out to needing to be cut, rewelded and hung due to the fact that the tips were not aligned and sticking way to far out. They are meticulous in their work and did a great job. Called to let me know of the discrepancy and asked how I wanted to proceed. All in all, great experience and I will be coming back for years to come.

Talked to them about doing some exhaust work. They actually talked me out of doing the work. Explained how it would not improve performance and may actually be bad for my truck. Further research confirmed what he said. I truly appreciate the honesty. When I do need exhaust work, I will be going to G&S.

This place is amazing. Had my car fixed and ready by the end of the day. The prices are extremely reasonable. I left very happy and felt like I got a really good deal. I will definitely go back with any further repairs that I need.. they will always have my business.

Went here to get my exhaust fixed after I ran over a metal rode on the highway which punctured my Y pipe leading to the exhaust tips...they recommend how to fix it and got it done in less than an hour...they even showed me more damage that was done and gave me tips on how to DIY the fix. Price was lower than the initial quote, very courteous gentlemen that work there...I would recommend this shop to anyone!!

Was recommended to go to C&S muffler to have my off road x-pipe and axle back track exhaust installed on my 2015 Z06 by a service manager at Steve Rayman Chevrolet. I called Stacey that Thursday and he got me right in today( Friday)at 8am sharp. From the time I arrived until the time my vehicle was completed, it was a pleasure sitting there talking.I’ve owned plenty of vehicles and this was by far the best service experience I’ve ever had. The hospitality, the attention to detail, the great prices, and just the overall experience was outstanding. While being there, I realized this was pretty much a one stop shop that does way more than what I thought. I have four other vehicles and will not take them any other place except here. If you haven’t been by this shop off Lower Roswell rd for auto service, you are truly missing out. They couldnt decipher what was wrong with my car, told me to take it all the way to Kennesaw for an expertise opinion... Just needed a tune-up.. G&S is only useful for brakes and mufflers.

Called in to see if they could remove a seized oxygen sensor bung from a cheap cat convertor I bought on Rockauto. They knocked it out fast and rethreaded the bung for me. Saved me from having to deal with a return and weeks of downtime.Later that day I brought the vehicle back to them and the went ahead and just chopped the ill fitting converter pipe and reworked it so everything lined up as it should. Under $200 out the door and had it done fast. Courteous and knowledge staff. Coming back soon for them to delete my resonators and hang better mufflers. 2000 Lexus GS300.

This is the 2nd time I have had Stacey and the G&S team install cat back systems. They do a fantastic job and are great to work with. Lots of expertise. The latest job they did was tailor made for the car...looks and sounds great.

Would not recommend everyone there vehicle for motor repair. Have to keep taking car back to them, they never fix the problem part was not put back together was charged a thousand dollar.Had to take car to another mechanic shop.Do NOT RECOMMEND!

I have been coming here for years and have found that they have quick service and low prices. I come here first because there are no games that I often see from other shops. I frequently do smaller automotive things myself but sometimes need help when parts are stubborn. There hasnt been anything that these guys havent been able to do. Highly recommended shop.

The AAA service technician broke 2 of the studs while replacing my flat tire with a spare. I took my flat tire to Discount Tires to fix the flat tire, but they couldnt due to the 2 nails that punctured my tires less than an inch apart from each other. I purchased a new tire, but they couldnt take the spare off because of the broken studs so they suggested I call G&S Auto to have them replace it, much better deal than taking it to the dealership. Sure enough, the price they quoted me was $230 less than Curry Honda! I drove up to G&S, told just called about the studs and Stacy let me know he could have me out of there in about an hour and that is exactly what happened! Great service and incredible pricing!!!

Update 10/15: my initial review that was posted wasnt visible. No wonder why this shop has such good reviews, theyre finding a way to block the negative ones.PLEASE dont be fooled but these ratings, if I could honestly give zero stars I WOULD. I went in a few days ago for three simple things: a wheel alignment, the connector to my headlight bulb replaced, and new headlight bulbs installed. As simple as these jobs may sound, everything literally went wrong which was my worst fear and now Im in a predicament of having to spend more money than expected on my car. Ill start off with the wheel alignment first, the job was done and every since then my car has been WIGGLING/SHAKING when turning at high speeds! Such as on the express way, scary right?! Now I have to get that re-done elsewhere. Second, I needed the switch connector for my headlight replaced and THE MANAGER Stacy said he could do it. I provided the connector and he installed it, well apparently after he installed it he realized it was the WRONG CONNECTOR. Although I purchased the wrong connector, you would think AS A MECHANIC he wouldve checked before installing but due to negligence and just wanting to get the job done, he did not. Third, as far as installing my headlight bulbs as simple as the job may seem, its a bit complicated due to the fact that my car is a Mazda so the headlight is designed in a complicated way. Well there is a metal prong that youre supposed to clip behind the bulb to hold it in place but you have to do it with your finger or maybe a special tool. Well STACY (the manager) apparently did something completely different and broke the prong! I could go on & on about how much of a disaster my experience was here but long story short, I have to get a new wheel alignment, new switch connector to replace the WRONG one he installed, and TWO NEW HEADLAMPS due to the fact that STACY misplaced the rubber covers that go over the bulbs to keep them from getting wet.And to prove my point even more of how much of a horrible job this shop did, when I called to talk to Stacy (the manager) about it.. He immediately went into defense mode and stated WELL WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO? IM NOT BUYING YOU NEW HEAD LAMPS IF THATS WHAT YOURE ASKING! YOU CAN JUST COME AND GET YOUR MONEY BACK! In which thats exactly what I did because I would never trust a shop like this with my car again and NEITHER SHOULD YOU. Now Ive found myself in a worse situation having to spend more money. Also by the way he recommended that I should take my car to a Mazda shop to get the headlamps fixed............Cause yes, that helps a lot I wish you wouldve stated that before being so eager to take my money.I will post pictures for proof soon!

I have frequented G&S in Marietta for all of my automotive repair needs for years, and feel a bit guilty not having yet left them a review. Theyre honest, highly competent, and charge fair prices for the work they perform. I especially like G&S because they dont mind a customer bringing in their own parts - they just wont warranty your carry in parts - which is understandable. They also arent afraid of installing aftermarket or high performance parts either. That said, they also charge very fair prices for parts that they source themselves. I wont go to any other G&S but the one in Marietta, and Ive tried them all.

Parking here is very limited and I know it cannot be helped, but I figured I would mention it. I took a vehicle from a dealership here to get inspected before my purchase. This was very important to me because I need to be able to drive to work every day in it. They told me all of my potential problems and any problems I may have in the far future. They gave me an incredibly fair quote for the repairs on this vehicle and gave me recommendations based on their personal expertise. I was very satisfied after getting my vehicle back as they were able to do these repairs in the matter of a day and even called me to let me know they would be willing to wait a little while after close to pick up my vehicle. Very nice guys. I recommend them

.I will never go this location again. They told me my truck needed a new engine. I to my truck to Auto Zone and got a scan. All I needed was a distributor cap and rotary button. After I went to Amoco. They said my truck was engine was fine.

Had an issue with my engine. Went other places and had various quotes from needing new head gaskets to needing a new engine. Had hear good about this place from a college and let them have my car for a few days. They were very honest about what it would take to fix my car and ran some complimentary tests for me. I will go to these guys first n foremost for my automotive diagnostic needs because of their collective knowledge and friendly service.

Not sure how good of a service this will be since they dont know how to book appointments and be accountable. Was denied service at the appointment time of 12 noon. If you desperately need service done and you live closer than 20 minutes away, maybe risk it and take a chance on these guys.

I needed a repair to exhaust system caused by rear end collision. I was given two options -- one was to replace the entire system from catalistic converter to restore system as new and the second was to only straighten and repair the damaged components. Since the vehicle is 13 years old, I elected the less expensive fix. I was completely satisfied with the results and PRICE. The vehicle dealership wanted, as a starter, to replace everything at twice the cost. Great experience and good people. Highly recommend.

Had a breaking flex pipe on an Audi with aftermarket exhaust. These guys were recommended by a local Euro performance mechanic and were glad to work on it. Helped me out by ordering the correct replacement parts and fixing the system for better reliability and easier repair next time (original flex pipe was in a weird location). Welds looked good for a MIG, would have been cake if they had TIG. Ill be back and recommend them.

I got a new custom exhaust put on my 99 BMW. Owner is super nice and helpful. Great price as well. Will be taking my show car in next to get an exhaust put on.

I visited G&S about a month ago because i needed my O2 sensor replaced my check engine light was on i had purchased the sensors from PEPBOYS one had been changed by someone else but my computer wasn’t recognizing it Stacy was honest with me & told me i needed Honda Sensors instead of just replacing them with PEPBOYS i respected his honesty so much Thank you !

Dont bother with this place. I arrived and went in 40 minutes before their posted closing time and asked if they could just listen to an exhaust rattle. And I said we could then setup an appointment for a later day to fix it at their convenience. The guy didnt want to even talk. He was very rude and just wanted to close the shop. Not a good way to run a business. Keep driving past this horrible place.

They installed my new Flowmaster outlaw muffler for me at the last minute. I was in and out less than one hour and they gave me a great price. My 2015 mustang sounds like a beast. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

These guys are awesome. I called inquiring about them welding on some Flowmaster exhausts on my challenger. They gave me a quote over the phone and we set an appointment for the next day. I got there and within 5 mins they were working on my car. They were very knowledgeable and showed me their work when they were done. I have no complaints. They did a good job. If you need any exhausts work done this is the place to go!

My wifes Hyundai SUV began shaking while she was driving in Marietta. Based on prior experience with G&S in Woodstock, she drove the car to this location in Marietta. The staff was very courteous and professional. They identified the problem, notified us, and made the repairs same day. Our experience with G&S was excellent and well be repeat customers.

Excellent service! I had a crack in an exhaust pipe. Two different mechanics gave me a quote of $1,200+ to fix it due to the converter being attached to the eroded pipe. G&S fixed it by, instead of replacing the pipe, cutting out the bad section and welding in a replacement. The cost was less than 1/10 of the quotes from the mechanics. Thank you G&S!

Brought my 1993 Toyota Corolla over due to the car sounding too loud and running rough. Researched other shops via Google comments from customers. They resolved both issues - timing needed adjustment and exhaust flex pipe needed to be replaced. Did it under 60 minutes while I waited and charged me a very fair price. Car is like new! I will go back without question. G & S earned my business - and I live in West Cobb area...
