They were very professional in handling my girlfriends car with a blown clutch. Prices were well below what I was expecting, and when we asked for a quote for a clutch replacement, the price was well below the standard market rate for something like that. Even though we declined the work, they still were friendly and helpful. Good honest shop that does quality work and doesnt try to overcharge you for it.

I have usually always done maintenance myself but this being my first F250 6.0 diesel And knowing that they are historically a nightmare system, these guys went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and give me a good clean bill of health on my truck. They did it without emptying my bank account they were cheaper than going to any Ford dealership or other diesel mechanic I could find. Patrick Was awesome he even followed up with me just to make sure everything was kosher. I can’t say enough good things about precision and I will definitely be going back there!!

I like to do maintenance myself, but I have been busy before and I took my truck in twice. Once for an injection harness, the other for a turbo leak.The injection harness was done very quickly, the mechanic knew what he was doing and did a very good job. I needed my truck quickly in the dead of winter, and they took care of me and priced the work very reasonably.I got my truck back today for a oil leak under the turbo pedestal. Fix was easy, guys knew what they were doing. I knew the bolts were going to be a pain coming out, I didnt realize that they would be as big of a problem as they were. Precision got them out, they did a good job. The repair is cheaper than a new turbo or running my truck out of oil. Very pleased with their work.Only complaint is that its a manual transmission, so I never use the parking brake, never think anything of it. Someone stepped on it, which is common practice, but it shredded a wiring harness that fed into a computer under my dash that was hanging down. Cruise control doesnt work now. Northern does my aftermarket overdrive.It was an easy fix, looked into it and just soldered wires at home.Guy working on 7.3s knows what he is doing. Would recommend him for any diesel engine.

Our ‘13 Odyssey was having electrical problems (caused by another shop) and they were able to fit it into their schedule, diagnose the real problem, and repair it very quickly. I have had this shop work on 2 vehicles. I give them credit when I needed a pinion rebuilt they were the only shop willing to tackle the project, however the rear end leaked after the repair and after multiple attempts to resolve the issue I had another shop repair the work.Most recent diagnostic left me with a unresolved problem and a large bill. I would not mind the bill if it addressed the issue, however I still have a truck out of service. Called to follow up and did not receive a call back. Will be taking vehicles elsewhere.

I live in a college town next to a military installation. Finding an honest mechanic can be problematic. However, Precision Auto got my car right in, diagnosed the problem as a minor problem, and fixed it for a fair price. They did not try to sell me on radiator work because my radiator fluid PH balance was off like another mechanic tried to tack on when I went in for an unrelated problem. I value honesty, and Precision Auto delivered, and at a fair price for professional work. I can trust them.

This guy is honest, straight up, and hard working. His prices are very fair and reasonable, and normally lower than other places. He wont just take your money. He talks to you, hell show you, tells you what you need and what you dont. I feel satisfied and safe after he works on my car not hopeful like other places. If I have a choice this will be the only place my hard earned dollar goes. To feed this hard working mans family, not a corporate giant, but people, and that still matters to me. Thanks to these guys and everything they do.

That place overcharges people. They charged me $100 to replace only a light bulb! I’m not happy about it at all. I don’t recommend it to anyone.

My daughter is a student at K-State and we were referred here three years ago by someone we know and trust from Manhattan. They have always been fair and do great work. Also, they only do the work needed to be done. Being from Minneapolis, it is nice to find a place my daughter can go to when she has car issues. I highly recommend Precision Automotive.

My Civic needed an alternator replacement and was also having some issues while idling. After calling several other local shops, Precision had a very competitive quote and could also start working on my car immediately. I got my car back working perfectly in just a little over 24 hours. I hope I dont have any more car issues before graduation, but if I do Ill be coming back here!

My first experience with the folks at Precision Automotive was great. They answered my questions on the phone, and were very pleasant in person. They called to give me an update on my vehicle, and was courteous when I decided to leave it there over the weekend. The only drawback was that they did not offer a military discount :-). I recommend this facility for your automotive repairs.

As the owner of a construction company it is very important that I have my fleet of vehicles up and running. Greg has gone above and beyond to keep my vans rolling at all times with as little down time as possible. When we bring our vans in for service or an unknown issue, like squirrels chewing our wiring harness, to a simple ABS sensor whatever the issue may be, he always takes the time to explain it. Super polite, will explain everything and wont push for services that arent needed. I ordered a refrigerant control valve for my car and needed a good shop to do a proper install. I called them yesterday to see when I could come in. They said to just leave the car with them in the morning, so thats what I did. Came back about 6 hours later and the car was already waiting, and the AC blows COLD! So happy I went with Precision over the dealer. I highly recommend this shop!

I thought I would give this shop a chance because I live only a few blocks away, but after my experience with Precision Automotive I wouldnt give them my business if they were the only shop in town. I brought my car to them for a tune-up. They were fairly prompt with the finishing the job, I assume because they are not doing much business. I pick my car up the next morning to find my bill for 167.11. The work done: Replaced 8 spark plugs. Thats all. Not the cables as well, just 8 plugs, about $40 worth. Anyone who has changed spark plugs, especially in an older American made vehicle, knows that 1.3 hrs of labor is completely ridiculous. Assuming theres no way a legitimate mechanic shop could take 1 hr and 20 mins to do this elementary task, I asked the man at the counter if there had been a mistake, to which he replied no, thats about right.I could help but be relieved that my tune-up didnt also include replaced filters (air filter was filthy, but they said they checked it), fluids (low coolant), or anything else a tune-up should have because each of those could have cost me another hours worth of labor.For this reason Ill go ahead make a trip to the other side of town, as should you.Precision Automotive is an obviously struggling business, that is compensating for their lack of clientele by overcharging the few unsuspecting patrons that happen to give them a chance.

These guys were fantastic! Took my car in on Friday for a diagnostic check on multiple things wrong. They called me back and asked to keep it over the weekend and on Monday morning so that way they could take it and drive it and get a better idea of what was wrong. They called me back Monday with a detailed list of things wrong and ALL the prices (diagnostics, parts, labor) that it would be to fix it. They didn’t try and take my money, they were all reasonably priced. They told me that they wouldn’t do any work on it until I said the word, I got things going and they started working Monday late afternoon and by Tuesday at 3:30pm; they were done! Very quick and excellent service! I will definitely be going back to them if I have any more problems with my car!

My son is a student and they quickly verified the issue with his Jeep and got him back on the road. I would highly recommend them if you or a student needs to have a vehicle repaired.

I hate having to find a new mechanic when I transfer to a new town. Got lucky this time and looks like so far the first is the one we are staying with. No BS up front diagnosis, accurate estimate, done when they said. Have taken two cars in now and been happy both times and when I had a minor issue after one repair ( a noise that wasnt there before) no complaining, no dodging it, they pulled my car right back in right then and fixed it on the spot.

This shop was recommended to me by another mechanic who said these guys had a reputation of being able to handle more technical repairs than most shops. This proved true in my experience. I had taken my 1994 Ford van into shops several times to figure out why the engine was running so rough but with no success, so I took it to Precision. It took Precision a couple of days, but they finally figured it out - a bad capacitor in the computer. Instead of replacing the computer for hundreds of dollars, they replaced the capacitor for just $5 (plus a reasonable fee for all the time they spent in diagnostics), and the engine purrs like a wildcat now! I am very pleased.

I was having issues with my Honda Ridgeline. It had been to another shop multiple times and they were unable to fix the problem. I called Greg, since we take all of our company vehicles to him for maintenance. He told me to bring it by and drop it off with him. We dropped the truck off on a Wednesday afternoon and he was able to diagnose it, order parts, make the repair in just a couple of days. I picked it up on Friday.We spent 3 times the amount at another shop and continued to have the same problem with almost a month in a rental car. He was great to work with and his attention to detail to try and diagnose the problem will make Precision Automotive our one stop for all future maintenance and repairs for all of our vehicles. After fighting the same problem for over a year with another shop, him and his guys took care of it in days should say a lot. Thank you guys. We will recommend you to all of our friends and family.

Gregg and his team have taken care of our vehicles since 1998. They always provide a fair estimate & have saved us thousands of dollars over the years! Two examples: (1) This past May, on our way home from a trip, our aging Honda’s 1-year-old replacement transmission died on the freeway in Iowa. We had it towed to the nearest Honda dealer and called Gregg to see if the transmission was still under warranty. Gregg spent the better part of a day on the phone, negotiating our warranty with the manufacturer and arranging to have a new transmission shipped to Iowa free of charge. (2) A few years ago, Gregg was able to fix a door lock mechanism, saving us more than $350 compared to the estimate from a specialty locksmith. We rely on Gregg’s expertise and his team’s attention to detail! In fact, we don’t buy extended warranties on our new cars because we trust Gregg to take care of any repairs we may need.

I took my mini to precision this past week. It was knocking really bad and they were my second opinion I got on it. I took it to another shop which seemed very passive about it, didn’t really seem like they wanted to mess with it soThey automatically told me I needed a new engine and it was going to cost me 10,000 dollars. That was some bad news. I took it to precision and they looked into every other possibility, they ended up finding it was something completely different, which they promptly fixed and only charged me 300 dollars for. Long story short. They really went above and beyond and helped my bank account a lot! I’d recommend them to anyone having car troubles. Thank you.

Unfortunately they misdiagnosed my car. They said I needed a new head gasket and it was warped. Turns out the rubber seals were bad, dirty and just needed replaced. And the main problem was the fuel injector was dirty, the head gasket was fine all along. Sadly I will not be continuing my business with them.

Going to this place was the worse choice I ever made, I brought my vehicle in for just a minor tune up, nothing more and nothing less. When I came to pick the vehicle up they said that I needed new front upper ball joints, new front brakes, and I should get an alignment and balance on my tires, they went ahead and gave my car the alignment and balance on my tires even though they didnt call me or even leave me a message saything they were going to do it so they charge me an extra 250$ bucks and I know for a fact I didnt need new brakes or upper ball joints cause I had them replaced about 3 months prior to going here. These guys are pretty slezzy I would not trust them and it seems that there technicians dont know to much about brakes or front suspension. That and the owner Gregg I assume is a compulsive smoker since I saw him in his shop smoking and the whole place just smelled of cigarette smoke.

They are very thorough in their repairs.
