Horrible customer service. I had an appointment scheduled for 7:00AM to get my tires mounted and balanced, (I purchased the Michelin‘s from a third-party vendor and brought them with me). I walked in, talked to one of the service techs and he told me that I needed to speak with the service manager, who was nowhere to be found until finally stumbling into the auto center area at 7:47am. He told me he needed to go out to my car and get some info, I gave him the keys and he came back 10 minutes later after taking my car’s info and looking at each of my tires and says that they can’t do it because they only change tires that are the same exact size of the ones currently on the vehicle, and it was company policy (they have done this in the past for my vehicles and I called the Chesterfield location directly after and they told me otherwise). I asked why they were able to do the service for me on previous occasions and he began to get defensive and angry and told me they’re not going to help me. Xander, the service manager is lazy, sloppy, unprofessional, and told me he doesn’t care if he gets a 1 star review, so those are the standards you’ll be dealing with here as long as he is the service manager and doesn’t make any changes. Don’t Spend Money Here, Live Better.

Very friendly staff but service takes some time mainly on prepping and encoding/processing job requests. Actual mechanical jobs are fast though. Theyre able to commit job time and finish on time.

Customer service is horrible! The customer service representative Jeff in the automotive department was not very friendly at all! I stood on the wall for over a hour and he never once acknowledged me. I came to get new tires and was told it would be 45 minutes and its been nearly 2 hours and still my vehicle is not ready.I am very disappointed and late for work!

I called in about tires for my car, spoke to someone over the phone and from my understanding they were available for me to receive service. I arrive there after 30 minutes of driving they tell me they stop taking service right after I called. I left and returned back to the store, I overheard the person in front of me receiving service. I spoke to the manager whose name was Jay. He explains to me because of the high volume they have that right in doing so. The communication here is terrible. You are better off going elsewhere.

I bought a battery for my car which was a great price. And it was installed for free. However the service was not quite as good as the product. It started when I got my key back and it had a sticker on it to identify the key as mine. I took the sticker off but it left a great deal of stickiness on my key. I asked to speak to the department manager and asked if he felt that it was appropriate to leave me with a key that was sticky. He seemed to be astonished that I would even think of this. His response was we use stickers stickers leave residue. I pointed out that that depended upon what type of sticker you used. He then said, somewhat sarcastically, that he would tell someone to change the type stickers they use. OK! Then he offered to clean off the residue which I accepted and he took care of. I then went out to get my car. When I first arrived I parked in a handicap space right next to the entrance to the automotive department because I am disabled. When I left the store my car was parked in the middle of the parking lot. I had to walk the distance carrying packages. It was not impossible for me to do this but I was very tired and it just made it more difficult for me. It was raining today and so all the cars were wet, including mine. I walked up to get into my car and found that they had parked it quite close to the car next to it so that I would have to brush up against either one or the other car and get wet. Mind you the parking lot was almost empty and there was no reason to park the cars side by side. Now I realize that these are not huge things. But its called courtesy. Thinking about someone else and what will be best for them. It wouldnt have taken any more of anyones time to make it more convenient for me. And really isnt good customer service something that we would all like to have. And yet it is so rare to find and I did not find it today at Walmart. In the picture my car is the green car and you can see the handicap spaces in the distance. You can also somewhat tell how close my car is to the silver car. My car is parked in the middle of the space but the silver car is parked close to the line on my side. What you cant see is that the front end of my car was closer to the back end of the other car then the back of mine to the front of theirs.

Today, I took my car for the oil change after my work. After about 1:45 hours, I got it back and drove home. When I got home, I realized that all the driver’s door cloth is greasy and dirty. It had never happened to me before. This was the first time I took this car to that center and definitely would be the last time.

Do not! I repeat do not take your car to be serviced here. Would you like your windows down and left unlocked in a parking lot? Would you like the brake weights to fall off of your two week old tires? Would you like to be serviced by incompetent mechanics and an even more incompetent manager? If you would not than I highly recommend picking anywhere else. Theyre customer service hasnt gotten back to me shockingly the staff can’t accomplish simple human tasks.

Very poor experience with customer service. Services performed were fine. Waited over 30 minutes in a line of two people with employees walking by not even acknowledging myself and the other customer’s existence. Upon pick up, I was told someone would be back in the auto center until 9pm. No one to be found so I had to track down an employee from another department. He was trying to be very helpful but as he did not work in Auto. Had to go in the back to find someone. Then they had me walk outside in the dark around back to get my car, could not let me through the automotive door. I am displeased and will not spend my money here again.

Usually a 2 hour wait everytime I go. Last time I ordered a tire they didnt put me name on the order so it took 30 min to find the tire. Nice people just always a long wait.

Made an appointment for 5, as I was told to. Person at the register was incompetent, to say the least, and didnt know how to even ring me in. Then he had the gall to tell me my car wouldnt be done for two hours... Even though I was told maybe half an hour to at most an hour when the appointment was made. Most here were walk ins (I know that because the person I spoke to yesterday told me they do it on the hour and they only take one per allotment). Been sitting here nearly an hour and my car still hasnt been taken back. Why even bother with appointments? This is ridiculous.

Horrible customer service. I agree it’s Wal-Mart and inexpensive but come on now. They should still be friendly. Every time I’ve went in to have tires or an oil change done, they seriously act like I’m bothering them. Rude rude rude! And to top it off, they’re out of stock on my tire size half of the time! I no longer bring my car here. I’d rather pay a little more $$$ to be treated nicer and actually have my tire size in stock without having to be disappointed. Also, I’ve waited up to 3 hours for my vehicle to be finished and I question why because there’s usually only one or two other cars besides mine parked back there? I like to shop but damn

They would absolutely corner the tire market if they would hire a couple people. 7:00 opening means 7:30 before anyone shows up at the desk. Twice they couldnt find my 4 tires, even though I called and received verification of delivery. Now, I sit alone in the waiting area and my car has not been moved to the service bay. I have watched the three people in front of me pay and leave, so by default, my car should be in the bay. NO ONE ELSE IS HERE! Never again, regardless of the price point.

I would give this place zero stars but it’s needing at least one selection. No matter the amount of employees or cars in the parking lot service is terrible. Waited for ever just to speak to an employee to be rudely dismissed. I called repeatedly on my way over for 45+ mins plus with no one to answer. I can understand “busy” but for a bigger operation Walmart should be able have someone answer the phones. When I got to the store, I wasn’t greeted for over 20 mins, only one young man made eye contact with me. One employee even came out of the garage area to just sit on the bench in the waiting room. For the amount of time that I spent waiting to speak to someone they were not that busy. I think it was more wanting to not help any more paying customers and to just leave for the day. Corporate needs to do something about the customer service.

Was there for an 1hr just to get a warranty battery exchanged. Not replaced. Had to wait for 50mins for a manager to help me, after a manager named Jay was behind the counter and never acknowledged me and walked away. The sales clerk had to page 4 times for another manager to come back. The sales clerk was extremely busy, no one helped her out or even seemed to care about her. I felt very sorry for the sales clerk and thought this is probably the reason Walmart is always short staffed......headquarters you can do alot better then this and we all know you have the money to do better......unacceptable!!!!!!

I would like to second the earlier review. I know its Walmart, but even for Walmart, this place is a joke. If their customer service is any indication of their mechanic skills, that is a terrifying thought. I waited 2 hours for an oil change and a battery replacement, when I was told 30 minutes to an hour. Finally, I ask the clerk (after waiting on line for 20 minutes) if my car is done, only to be told that I needed a new battery and they needed my approval for this. Seriously??? I had been waiting on my laptop in the waiting area the whole time. 2 HOURS. I had to leave with just the oil change. I will NEVER make the mistake of going here again.

Its Wal Mart. Theyre inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. Customer service is nonexistent, the staff is barely there, the water from the dispenser tastes like dirt. The whole places just feels dirty.Took my car in for a flat repair and rotate and balance. The tires still holding air. They did the rotate just front to back and didnt balance them.The cashier rang up the wrong customer (it happens) and needed to void the sale. I owed them no money (road hazard warranty), but for some reason the staff wanted me to stand there while a manager came up to void the sale. I finally had to tell them to just give me my keys so I could go.Inexpensive tires, but the customer service is what youd expect from a place like Wal Mart.

We bought tires there and needed them installed. They were super busy and the person behind their register did not offer choices, such as it will be 4 hours until we get to your car, so we can call you when its done. After waiting all day, I found out they just slapped it in and didnt calibrate the little weights, so it is Nós a smooth ride.

Been 2hrs and car still in lot to get tire patched. The guys in front of me was here 4hrs for 2 tires replaced. I came her to save money but my time is worth something. $10 at Walmart, $35 at Firestone across the street. When alls said and done I came out behind. Sad!

The service guy made me clean the posts on my battery, but didnt offer anything to clean it. had to buy baby wipes in the store to do it. then i realized i could have used the wipes WM has at the front of the store to clean shopping carts with. the service guy should have know that. then, they charge my battery(newer batt) and they tell me it was bad. i took the battery to advanced AP in ballwin for a 2nd op. it tested good. i wont be going back to walmart auto center.

Horrible employees at this location i wouldnt trust them to put window washing fluid in my vehicle. It has taken 4 days for them to plug my tire. My driver door doest lock and they claim they couldnt unlock it. In reality the lazy people didnt even try because i opened the door from the doorhandle with no key the door has no lock. Id go any where but here

Called 4 times to speak to auto care. Hung up once, routed to twice to a women who couldnt transfer me back, and the 4 time I was on hold for over 5 minutes when I finally gave up.... Awful service

Horrible experience. I bought 4 tires for my daughters car here last year. One of the tires was faulty and blew out so I returned to this location to get it replaced. I waited over two hours and instead of replacing the tire with a new tire, they put on another used tire she had in her trunk. The mechanic charged me for a tire fix and added road hazard....Huh? The lady behind the counter was gracious and apologetic. The mechanic was a defensive jerk who never apologized for his mishap and corrected my daughter for putting the spare on too tight! When the counter clerk ask him to replace the tire, the mechanic said he would have to fit me in? Seriously? Talked to the store manager who apologized but based off the other reviews doesnt look like the situation will ever improve.

It was horrible. I waited 3.5 hours to get tires rotated, that they didnt rotate. Per their recommendation. When I got my keys back, they didnt return my lock key for my lugs. We had to wait for technician to come back from his break to give back the lock key he tried to steal (2nd time). If youre a Walmart manager, youre more than welcome to respond.

Do not take your car here. You will spend your entire day waiting for service given by technicians who do not care about your time, let alone your vehicle. I actually had a tire put on, brought a brand new rim to them for the new tire to go on.... they put the new tire on the old, obviously bent rim. Do not take your car here.
