Thank you Brian, once again for the great service. Low pressure light came on, Brian accessed it and found 2 roofing nails …my neighbor just had his roof replaced, and got my car back the same day. Would not go anywhere else…ask for Brian
The absolute worst customer service. They will rob you blind. Always get a second estimate. Crooks at best.
I would give a no-star rating! bunch of crooks, they make casey anthony look innocent, but hey keep wasting money, learned once and that was enough
I had my truck at the body shop for a repair. The repairs were done in the time frame they promised and were done well above my expectations! I hope to never need a body shop again but if it do, I will use Shannon Body Shop again!!!
I had just been almost ripped off by pep boys and these people took great care of me. Got me in quick. Fixed my tire in 30 minutes and educated me on a few things also. I would definitely recommend. They don’t take advantage of you and have wonderful customer service!
Amazing customer service! I go to them for everything for my Jeep, a Jeep I bought from Shannon Auto Sales. The auto repair department is incredible. Always so kind and helpful. I would recommend them for all your car maintenance needs! Competent, super friendly and always smiling! Its a very professional yet relaxed and inviting environment. Thank You Shannon auto repair :)
5 stars all the way! Ended up taking our Jeep Wrangler to Shannon Auto Repair for a second opinion after initially taking into the Jeep dealership. We were concerned about the quote from the dealership to say the least. Shannon Auto professionally performed all the necessary repairs for a fair, reasonable and HONEST price. Keith in the shop gave a detailed explanation of the work to be performed and checked in during the process. I would definitely recommend Shannon Auto Repair.
Great service at a fair price. I was broken down and needed a tow truck. They sent one out right away and then had my car diagnosed and repaired in 2 days. Keith in service was great to work with.
Had spark plugs replaced improperly so my whole engine was shaking. Messed up part was my salesperson drove it across the street back to the lot. So either he chose to ignore the problem or cant tell if an engine shaking is bad.
Just had my Cadillac service at Shannon auto repair. Everybody there did a great job Keith went above and beyond. Thanks all for a great experience.
A wonderful experience from start to finish. Very honest and up front, they don’t pester you with additional unnecessary stuff. Good quality work and good prices
High prices and poor workmanship
I generally do not enjoy any experience with car buying or maintenance, and I’ve owned many cars as a business owner. These guys are fair and informative and more importantly great to deal with. The staff members are attentive and HONEST! Will definitely work with them for my vehicle needs. Great bunch of guys! Have referred all my valued friends and family to them. Keep up the excellent service.
Trust, attention to detail? Not easy to find anymore in a complex professional trade like auto repair. Shannon Auto Repair and Detailing has that and more! Theyll take care of you and your car, without taking you to the bank with false and unnecessary repairs. Thanks to the whole staff at Shannon Auto!
Came here for a second opinion on a pricey repair estimate and was able to save a lot, with quick turnaround and no pushing for additional repairs that may not be needed.
Always great service when working in our cars with a friendly, informative staff!
Ive been going to Shannon Auto Sales for years. Great customer service and very knowledgeable.
This review applies to both Shannon Auto Repair and Shannon Auto Sales:Please read before shopping at Shannon: (Reviewed after 1 month of ownership)The biggest purchase Ive ever made, and I may have ended up with someone elses junk. No salesman can know exactly what each car that hits the lot has been through. Therefore, I consider Rick an innocent bystander in this negative review.I picked a Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab off the lot to be my daily driver. Immediately as Rick pulled the truck out of the spot it was parked in, I noticed a very small puddle of what ended up being power steering fluid on the ground. I brought it up and they offered to have their sister company Shannon Auto Repair fix the problem at a later date. No big deal there. The truck had a brand new Virginia Safety Inspection which was completed at Shannon Auto Repair. Not even a week into owning the truck I developed a loud squeak from the front suspension. My friend who is a VA safety inspector helped me diagnose the problem. It turned out that my front left lower ball joint was bad and he said that it looked like someone had sprayed it with lubricant to temporarily quiet it down. A bad ball joint is an instant fail when being safety inspected. Shannon Auto Repair not only gave the unfit truck a valid inspection, but attempted to mask a potential safety problem. My safety inspector friend also pointed out to me that all four tires on the truck are only at 2/32nd of an inch and less which should not have passed a Virginia Safety Inspection either. I knew they werent great, but didnt realize they were that bad.A week later the right lower ball joint began squeaking just like the left one had. Both were loose, had zero grease in them, and had ripped rubber boots. I have temporarily forced grease into them to keep them quiet until I have the money to have them all replaced.Maybe another few days to a week later I randomly lost a lug nut while driving. I cant blame this on Shannon, because I dont know if the front right wheel was taken off while in their hands or not, but add it to the list of problems.I almost forgot, I let my brother-in-law drive it for a few minutes, and as we hit a bump in the road, the interior light in the ceiling literally fell out and was hanging by the wires.THE BIG FINALE: RUST AND BODY DAMAGETo start, I should have been weary of any dealership that has every inch of the underside of a vehicle sprayed with black paint to make it look fresh and clean.Yesterday I took advantage of the nice weather, and hand washed the truck in my driveway. As I rubbed my hand and wash cloth along the bottom of the doors I realized that 3 out of the 4 doors have extensive rust on them. The rust had been painted over to help conceal it. Unfortunately its not just surface rust... it is deep! The truck was absolutely covered in pollen when I purchased it, so this was the first time that I had seen it truly clean. Evidence of body damage and repairs are all over it. The front left fender appears to have been repainted and is nowhere near as smooth as other paint on the truck. The one door jam has the letter C written in chalk pencil in it, which I recognize from having dealt with a wrecked car in the past. The rockers were obviously repaired and painted recently with sloppy overspray on some of the interior trim. The tailgate appears to be rustfree from the outside, but when open there is evidence that it too is rusting from the inside out. When peaking in under the passenger seat, you can see daylight coming through a hole where some sort of bolt or hardware is obviously supposed to be.I am worried as to what else I will uncover as I continue to drive this truck. So far, its not looking good. Im looking at thousands of dollars of repairs to get the truck safe again, and free from the cancer that is body rust.
They will only tell you what needs to be repaired for inspection and not try to add on extra
Friendly people, quick service
