Way overpriced even though prices are clearly written within shop. Charged a $45 inspection fee, which was not outlined prior to work being completely that turned an $80 oil change into $126. Thankfully I had GMC points to pay for the service. Will not return.Edit: GM repair shop called and was “confused with my complaint and why I had a problem with the final bill.” Well, it was $125 for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Thank goodness I had GMC points to pay for most of the bill. Folks, save your money, buy your own oil and attend YouTube academy to learn how to change it yourself.

I recently wrote a 1 star review expressing my bad experience with Joyce Koons Buick GMC; my car broke down less than 6 months after buying it leaving me in a position to pay hefty fees in repairs. But after the General Sales Manager, Tim Welton, reach out to me multiple times to help me solve my problem and even went as far as offering me a much better deal than the dealership near my house and google searching solutions on his own time, I have to changed my review to 5 stars. He was very helpful throughout the entire process and I am grateful because you do not get this type of service anymore.

Recently, I needed my driver seat trim replaced. With a few hiccups in getting the trim ordered, once I connected with Terry, the Service Manager of Buick at Joyce Koons, my trim was changed very efficiently. Dealership arranged a loaner, picked up my car from my house same day, dropped the loaner for me to use and brought the car back same day and picked up the loaner. Excellent service that day. Joyce Koons keep up the good work. THANK YOU.

I am new to the area. Brought my vehicle in for an oil change & a diagnostic due to an error I was getting concerning an issue with my front camera on my Enclave. My appointment was at 11:00am. I arrived at 10:46am and told the service tech that I would wait for my vehicle. I waited for a little more than 4 hours to have my vehicle serviced. After not getting an update from anyone on why it was taking so long, I finally went to inquire. The facility was not overly busy at the time I was there. I still do not know why it took so long for my vehicle to be serviced. This is unacceptable and not the type of service I am used to from a franchised dealership.

My service advisor, Mr Hess was extremely helpful! Despite the fact that I was not sure how to properly articulate the issue I was having, Devon knew exactly what the problem was and how best to correct the issue. He fully explained the procedures that would be followed. He followed up with a phone call the following day with suggestions on additional service that should be performed. Vehicle was ready when promised and the problem I was having was corrected. Devon is a top notch service advisor and clearly one of the best I have experienced over the years!!!

Great service. Had a leak in my tire. There was a nail in my tire. They removed the nail plugged the tire and put air and balance the tire. Then I was back on the road again. Thanks Koons

All of my problems were addressed and solved. And this was in spite of my being told that it would almost be impossible if the warning icons that showed up on the display paneldid not stay on. Before taking my GMC Savana to the dealer, these warnings would pop up and then disappear--at that time they did NOT stay on. So, I was greatly concerned about that. But the service department solved all 3 of my problems. Yeah for them!

I have bought and leased vehicles from Koons Manassas and used them for service in the past and have always been completely satisfied with my experiences with both the sales and service department. On 5/15/2021 I took my Chevy SS in for an oil change, safety and emissions inspections. My initial review on the service was not good due to some issues I had during this visit. The service manager (Kyle) took the time to call me to discuss those issues and bent over backwards to make sure they were addressed. With that kind of customer service and making sure I was satisfied with everything that was done, Ill be bringing both my vehicles back anytime I need any type of maintenance/work done.

All great until after paper work is signed. Traded in a SUV for another $100k suv. Then afew weeks later we get hits on our credit cause KOONs hasnt even paid the loan off. So now hits on my credit for a dealership who cant maintain there end of signed contracts, an then the manager gonna tell us to call an make the payments an the bank will reimburse me later after they get around to paying it off. Definitely will be hearing from my lawyer. With the stress an headaches caused by this dealership. Wont be using koons again for sure

We were utilizing the concierge service...they were supposed to pick up the car between 10-12. They didnt show and my son had an orthodontist appointment so my wife called and let them know that she needed to use our car until 1. I got a call from the dealership at 4 letting me know that they were on their way but wouldnt be there for at least an hour. at 5:30 they arrived to take our vehicle which should have been done the same day as we were requesting an oil change. More issues on Saturday, that I frankly dont feel like typing out. We finally got our vehicle back on sunday but only because I left the keys in your concierge vehicle on the street since I couldnt be there to do an official exchane.

Terrible service team! I am sure the mechanics are good, but the service team just doesnt care about the customer. They always try to upsell needless maintenance procedures, recommend maintenance thousands of miles before they are due, litterally drive your car out of the dock and go park it somewhere in the lot to present an illusion that they are fast.If you question the maintenance recommendations they get argumentative and defensive. If you call them out on appointment time vs time actually seen they just say well we are running a bit behind. I have had my vehicle serviced here multiple times (service agreement) and i would like to say this is a one off... but it isnt.I have started to look for other dealers who accept my agreement, because today was the last straw. 9:45am appointment (scheduled early so delays would be minimal) arrived at 9:30am. Vehicle was taken out of the dock at 9:40am... excellent right? Nope! They only moved it to parking lot where it sat until i asked about it at 10:45am.Asked me if i would rather use the Honda service center instead (seriously).Tried again to upsell me something, but then when I asked to have my cabin filter replaced, gave me some sarcastic attitude, so i said nevermind.Again horrible. Cant wait until i get their how did we do survey.

Joyce Koons Buick GMC is an extraordinarily well-oiled machine oriented toward customer service and satisfaction. Im a retiree with my share of new car purchases. Sales Associate Delroy Clarke Jr., had my vehicle and all related paperwork ready and waiting for me upon arrival. Everything had been taken care of before I even saw the front door. I didnt spend five minutes cooling my heels, as I have done for hours at other dealerships so many times before. I wont forget this.

I found that warranty work is apparently not prioritized like work that is not done under warranty. You therefore have to wait longer to get your vehicle repaired.Also, lack of communication on the part of my service advisor who failed repeatedly to call me and let me know what the status on my vehicle was.

When it comes to car dealership, honesty is the key. I have been extremely pleased with my online purchase with Frankys. Everything was transparent and Frankys delivered my car on time. He was courteous and patient. You cant go wrong with this guy. The financing guy Fernando too was great. Everything was clearly described down to how much I need to pay back per month. As always, Jessie, Bryant and the entire service staff were top notch. There is not better service department. After a poor experience with a GMC service department in Florida while on a business trip where I was basically told there was nothing they could and that I had to drive my 2020 Yukon XL until it broke, even though they acknowledged that there was likely a problem with the starter motor, It was nice to make it home and get it to Joyce Koons where they fixed it without question. I left 100% satisfied and amazed!!! Thats the kind of service I expect from GMC! Bryant made it very easy and quick to get my warranty issue resolved and I would recommend Koons GMC aManassas to everyone! I was extremely happy and actually looking forward to my next visit. Thanks !!!!!An update since my last visit. Seems Bryant is no longer with this location. I went in for a regularly scheduled maintenance on my new truck and it was a horrible experience. It took about an hour just to get authorization from the service company that I purchased the extended maintenance program with. Once it was finally approved for the most part, it took about four and a half hours to get an oil change, tire rotation and balance, and a state inspection. Once I picked up the vehicle I noticed the pressure sensors were not adjusted to their correct positions on the truck. Also each of the four tires had different amounts of pressure in them so they were not filled up properly. Also the old state inspection sticker was not completely removed and the new one was placed on top of it and also was starting to peel already. Also the oil change sticker was put on and a bad spot and it was all smeared. Also I requested the DEF be filled which is covered at 100% in the service agreement I purchased but I was questioned about it when I called back after I picked up the vehicle because it was not filled up. So now I have to wait for another call back after they verify with the service maintenance plan people that its covered. Overall I spent several hours getting a what should have been a quick service done on my vehicle and it was picked up and not done properly. I probably will not be heading back there for service.

Made appointment for an oil change, I had recently replaced the tires so I did not want those rotated. My appointment time was 2:30 pm, my vehicle was finished at 4:45 pm, one hundred and thirty five minutes for an oil change seems ridiculous to me. Furthermore, I had a coupon for an oil change for $36.95, the final cost was over $60.00. The service seemed fine and the people were courteous, I just expected to be out of there much quicker and at a little less expense.

I used to believe that most car dealerships are out to take every pennies from the consumers as they are in a cut throat business to only make money. Not today! I came to Joyce Koons Buick GMC to shop for my dream car; within 1:45 minutes I was out with my dream Hot red BMW convertible!!! What an amazing experience! I had a wonderful buying experience at Joyce Koons. James Ward was an excellent sales person. I went in knowing exactly which vehicle I wanted to purchase and he met me at the door and quickly brought the vehicle around for a test drive.He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle that I wanted and made sure that I understood all of the new technology during the test drive and before I left the parking lot after completing my purchase. I had the best experience purchasing my first car in years from James Ward, it was a pleasure to work with him, I wasnt sold on the color and he didnt try to force it on me, he remain polite, personable and professional throughout the entire process and the three days it took me to make a final decision. I would say the service department at GMC Manassas has improved since I purchased my Yukon in 2017.I am satisfied with the overall service and the professionalism of Bryant Burrill. He kept me informed constantly via phone and email. I was impressed with how quickly we can communicate using the messaging feature.I do believe the quality of your service advisors are better. In the past, it seemed unprofessional to see those sitting around the reception desk either eating or not really dealing with customers.Additionally, those working at the dealership are practicing COVID precautions. I was reminded to put on my mask which I immediately did after getting out of my SUV. Good job.

One of your courtesy vehicles drivers operating Vehicle #13 nearly caused me to get in a crash as the driver failed to stop at the stop sign this morning 12/28 at 10:03am at the interchange of Harry J Parish Blvd and Clover Hill Rd near Manassas Regional Airport. I have the right of way to make any directional turn without stopping as I am on Clover Hill Rd approaching Harry J Parish Blvd while those vehicles on Harry J Parish Blvd must come to a complete stop at the stop sign. Please talk with that driver and advise him to follow all posted signage.

Went in for a horrific odor from the climate control. Contacted my SA Jessi and was told to bring it in at my convenience. Their assessment turned out to be negative and it took them about 90 minutes to complete. Apparently it was an outside source brought in through the system as it is in fact gone now. I was kept in constant contact via text message as I spent my time walking the lot. As a huge fan of technology, I am glad this dealership offers that service.

We were met promptly by Jeff .He was kind and greeted us with a smile and a good morning . I asked Jeff to look into a problem I had with closing my under passenger seat storage compartment .Upon completing our service es for the day, Jeff told us how to properly open and close our under seat passenger storage compartment !!!!There was no water cups, no coffee etc. in the refreshment area when we arrived at 9am. My Acadia had the check engine light come on, and then the truck died while I was driving down the road. The staff worked it for two weeks and replaced the fuel pump flow control module, but that didnt fix the problem. After rewiring the system the problem seems to be fixed, but it took nearly four weeks to get there. However, I worked with Devon throughout the process, and though it was frustratingly long, Devon did a very good job of keeping me informed. At the end the cost was significantly less than I expected, which was a good indicator to me that Koons GMC understood the situation, valued me as a customer, and did the right thing. They treated me right. I appreciate that, and theyve earned my business.

You seem insistent on getting my comments. While the overall experience was pleasant enough and the personnel were all friendly and supportive, my problem was not resolved. The result of my recent visit is that the 4WD alert is still showing up. I was told that a $300+ diagnostic might find the problem (and my truck is out of warrantly). I originally presented the truck under warranty with this problem. Your staff could not find the problem. The second time I brought the truck in, you convinced me that a $145.00 dollar software upgrade would solve the problem. It did not. This third visit seems to portend a series of visits where I keep paying for additional diagnostics without a resolution. By the way, during the first visit, the problem presented itself during check-in; so I am not imagining the issue.

WARNING: DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE! I went in for a regular oil change and tire rotation. I ended up getting told that I needed to get the minor maintenance service. I dropped my vehicle off this past Friday and was told that I needed to get my brake fluid flushed, as well as have my oil pan re-sealed due to some sort of leak. I went ahead and got all of their recommended services done to my vehicle, and picked it up on the following Tuesday. I drove the vehicle Wednesday and experienced no issues, however on Thursday morning (today), when I attempted to drive to work, I literally almost lost my life. My brakes completely went out and I had to swerve to the side lane in an effort to avoid hitting the lady in front of me. I had no time to even see if there was oncoming traffic when I swerved because it happened so fast. Immediately after swerving, I pushed down on the brakes as hard as I could, put the vehicle in park, and turned it off. I had to restart it, and then attempted to drive back to the dealership. On my way back to the dealership, it began to malfunction again while I was on one of the most busiest highways (66). I immediately pulled over on the side of the highway and called the dealership so that they could come tow it. To add insult to injury, upon me explaining what happened, they told me that they would have a tow truck come, and after 30+ minutes I found that they never even called the tow truck company. Chris from the dealership told me that he gave me the number to call myself, despite the fact that he asked me what my location was on the highway. I then called the tow company myself, who informed me that the call needed to come from the dealership in order for the dealer to pay for the service, so I had to call the dealership yet again. Now, Im sitting on the side of the road waiting for the tow truck. I could have lost my life twice due to their negligence in servicing my vehicle properly. In fact, I didnt even have these issues before they touched it! Now, I cant even drive the vehicle. To be continued...

More of the same.... great service!! I bought my GMC Terrain in 2013 and Joyce Koons of Manassas has performed all the maintenance for the past 7 years. Before that, I owned a Buick Lucerne which I purchased from Joyce Koons of Manassas. Maintenance was performed by Joyce Koons of Manassas as well. My current Service Advisor, Jeff Miller, has been great . He is a true professional!!
