I have never encountered a car lot that tries harder not to sell you a car in my life. I have been calling the phone numbers listed on the site for the last 5 days and goes to voicemail every time. I have followed prompts that have taken all of my information, texted with them and still cannot get a human being on the phone. When you call the numbers they ALL go to voicemail. They do not allow you to every speak to someone. It is just really sad because I am actively trying to buy an SUV and have over 25k in cash, $100 bills and cant get a human to talk to.Note: I am not the type of person to ever leave a bad review about a company. However the unprofessional-ism of this company and the fact that they have literally taken all of my information for no reason prompted this post. I have screen shots of my call log and of the text conversations to prove. Heaven forbid you buy a car from these people and have an issue. If they wont talk to you to sell you the car then they definitely arent going to be in contact with you if you have an issue. Purchased a vehicle here in January. Once the temporary tags expired and I attempted to go to the DMV, I was notified by them that the VIN number was not registered under me. When contacting the company in which I financed the vehicle through, they stated this dealership never put the title in my name. I have attempted to call several times in which the number provided goes straight through to a voicemail. I have driven to the dealership in which there is a sign on the door with extremely poor spelling that states they have a family emergency. This has been the case for a week now. I am now faced with contacting my lawyers in order to get this situation figured out.

I come to do oil change for my car. The service is very good. I have made an appointment so I dont need to wait for my turn. I hope Mitsubishi will keep this place as their dealer for long time.

We had a wonderful experience with Auto max Center. We came, we asked, they listened... Within days they found us exactly what we were looking for. As a matter of fact, it actually had less miles and was in better condition than we had hoped for.

This place will scam you! Long story short. We went to go buy a cargo van a month ago everything went smoothly until it came time to get the tags for the vehicle. They did not submit the paperwork nor did they put my name on the title paperwork so I could not get tags and the finance company just received a blank title so now I’m here with a van I can’t use. There under investigation right now from the Virginia DMV from what my lawyer found out! BEWARE!!!!!

Applied for a credit application Monday and now it’s Thursday with no update. Called several times and they know nothing. Seems like Angela the finance manager is putting my application on the back burner but I won’t jump to conclusions. Customer service is horrible and communication skills are the worst I’ve seen thus far. Good luck to the dealer ship!

This is the worst used car dealer in the world. I purchased many cars in my life but this has got to be the worst. First they sold me a lemon car a used Mercedes GL 350 which I found out after I purchased the vehicle. The owner even told me that the diesel engine could go up to 32 mpg, which I believed him. However the actual mpg was only around 19-21. Furthermore, literally two days later the check engine light came on and the repair cost was substantial. On top of this the vehicle could not even pass the Maryland State Inspection. I had to pay another substantial amount to pass it. I called and emailed them wanting to return the vehicle but no response. The vehicle didnt even have floor matts and they said that they will provide but never gave it to us. Moreover, on top of all the other frustrations from this dealership, I couldnt even register the SUV because they never gave me the title. YOU need a title to register and Ive tried calling and emailing with no service or help from them. Im still waiting for my title after a full month and half and now the vehicle is in our parking space and not being used at all. I am still waiting for our title to register our vehicle. Ive tried calling and emailing but no response. This has to be the worst dealership. Please do not buy any vehicle from them. They cant even get you the right paper work.

Buyer beware!!Victor R. is correct! I purchased the vehicle and within 24 hours, it would not go into gear. Engine & wrench light on. They towed it back to their “mechanic”. Told us everything was just fine...Then proceeded to ask my husband to pay the tow bill. Of course we declined then asked us to split the cost with him, the owner!Mind you, I did not have the car even 24 hours and it was messing up.Long story short- I took them to court and they were found Guilty.They can’t even send a reliable tow truck to pick up the cursed vehicle. You are suing us???? For what?The Prince William General District Court, found you negligent!! You had to pay up! The staff was friendly and helpful when I purchased a 2006 Expedition. Unfortunately after purchase the vehicle needed $2000 dollars worth of repairs to pass Maryland inspection. The staff was helpful and gave me a extension to get the necessary repairs. I also started noticing other problems with the vehicle, both mirrors motors are broken, the sunroof track is broken, painted over rust in the rear of the vehicle as well as a crack in the bumper that was concealed with black duct tape. The vehicle also does not have working A/C. The engine and transmission run strong but it’s a very flawed vehicle.

Someone even offered to pay more for the SUV I was buying and they declined because I was there first. I would recommend Auto Center to anyone looking to buy a car, best value in the area.

Thieves. Very nice when selling the car, but they won’t stand behind their cars when something is wrong. In fact the become condensending and rude.Within 24 hours of buying the car it wouldn’t move. To their credit they picked up the car. They had their “excellent mechanic” check it over. Of course nothing was wrong. We continued to have issues with it not moving. Finally we took it to a ford dealership. Their “excellent mechanic” put the wrong transmission fluid in it and ruined the transmission. We attempted to work with them to resolve the issue. They no longer returned our calls. We were left with no option but to take them to court. They lost. Today they sent a tow truck to pick up the car. The tow truck dropped the car and it went rolling down our yard. Our lawn was torn up as they attempted to move it. The car hit a tree and broke an axle. They’re getting the car back with a bad transmission and a broken axle. Karma is a B.Oh, by the way we purchased a warranty. They submitted the paperwork to the warranty company late, so it wasn’t covered.

At first they seemed to care about the service and the customer, but after awhile the customer was just an anoyance. I was prommised many things when I purchased a vehical from them and at first they seemed to want to make good on their promises but that soon stopped. I still have a radiator leak, no spare tire and a half done detail and many excuses from the owner himself about why his employees were lowsey. Never a follow up to get thing right just exscuses each time I stopped. Very dissapointing exsperiance.

Very dissatisfied! I am a business owner out of state. I bought a used van online with verbal assurances that were totally false. I have called at least several times with my issues with the vehicle with 0 returned phone call from the owner of the company and now when I do call this company, they hang up in my face as I do not have the correct documentation to even get a license plate and they are O (ZERO) assistance. Be extremely cautious if buying from this company! Once you buy it, you own it. They will not disclose any issues with vehicles... do your due diligence with these people. This has been the worst purchase i have ever made in 52 years. I have never made a written complaint about any company... this is my first one. BUYER BEWARE! This place is the picture of what you think about when you think of used car dealers.Mike and Angela were as nice as a sale person could be on the phone. Now that there are issues, the response I get is the click of a phone being hung up on in my face. 1 Star rating is too high for this company!

Travelled with my son to purchase a used Cadillac from this dealer. Salespeople were friendly (manager smelled like beer) and it we arrived at a fair price. During the sales process the salesman was asked specifically if two key transponders were included. (Only care because the transponders are $300 retail). He said they were and when we got to the paperwork we discovered there was no second transponder. Finance (Blaire) was authorized to put a transponder on the We Owe.Discovered wiring problems caused by this cars last home at a buy here pay here dealer (GPS tracker)Fast forward three weeks still no transponder. Owner authorized us to visit nearest caddy dealer and they would pay over the phone.Long and short of it....The female employee proceeded to cuss the service representative at Suttle Motors because the transponder is so expensive. Eventually Blaire was put on the phone and the transaction was completed.Called this afternoon to let the owner know how disrespectful this female employee was. As soon as he was aware who was on the phone I was hung up upon.Dealership is pathetic. Blaire. Hope you find a better job.

DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give a 0 star i would, I bought a vehicle from this location cash. They did not give me the title as soon as I made the complete payment. Its been over a month and I still have no title, and my plates are expired. The first couple of the days my 2010 Ford Edge Vehicle was already making weird noises. I kept calling to try and speak to the manager so I could talk to them I never got a reply back. Once they replied back I told them I had receipts of everything that was wrong with the car and they said there was nothing wrong with the car. I asked if they could show me receipts of the vehicle of stuff that where supposedly changed and they never did. I showed up to there location twice and they still where not doing nothing about it. I was angry at this point. My motor is locked and my vehicle is not able to move at all. To make it short I went back to Car Max and the manager was very rude and said she would not talk to me. I told them I needed help and an explanation and they said they weren’t going 2 deal with me. After the manager said i was no one to come in to her office and she said if i didn’t leave she knew how to box and she was not going to accept me being in her office when all I was asking was for help. Her husband Majid Eghbal was very rude as well. It got to the point police got involved and we where told to leave. These people will rip you off ! I explained the situation to the officer and he even told me it was ridiculous what they did. They already new the car was in bad condition but yet they said the vehicle was prefect and sold it that way anyways. They do not explain anything to you ! All they want is to take your money! They have such bad customer service. There was a young lady named Kayla that was there and was not even aloud to speak because the manager was telling her not to help me out . So they even tell there other employees to not answer your questions. Unless it goes through them, which you will never get a response back from the mamanger or owner!

Very unprofessional. Everyone was friendly and has a nice personality, however, the business side was janky. I put a deposit down on a car, which I thought would ensure the car would not be sold before I came back to give them the check and pick up the car. Not even a week and I was receiving an email saying they were refunding my deposit. I immediately called and asked was the car sold, because it hadn’t even been 5 days so it couldn’t be the timing. When I was told yes the car was gone I asked how could this happen when I just put a deposit on the car on Tuesday and it is only Friday. I was then told there was already a deposit on the car which I did not understand why they would take a deposit on a car that already had a deposit on it, but of course a good answer was not provided. So basically if you want a car, it is first come first serve, DO NOT get your hopes up with putting down a deposit!

Im sure the dealership might be fine, but its frustrating seeing a bunch of your ads for vehicles and none of them list the mileage. Why not just be honest with your customers? You dont need to do a ton of sales tactics on your ads, just be up front with the mileage. You dont get more walk ins by conveniently hiding the mileage, you actually make people ignore your dealership entirely. No really, you do. If you put the mileage, I might have actually purchased the car, but I just dont have time to waste

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! My husband went yesterday to go buy a van. After filling out most of the paperwork, they gave him the CarFax to look over it. Something seemed off to him. The van had 117,000 miles on it BUT on the Carfax (which was last reported in 2018) it showed the van actually had 215,000 miles on it. How can a vehicle go from 117,000 in person, but after being reported to CarFax just last year, the mileage is actually 215,000. Seems like they tampered with the meter to make it seem like it had low miles. Obviously that didn’t make ANY type of sense and luckily my husband was not dumb enough to walk out of there with the van! It’s all a scam. Don’t buy from there!

PLEASE READ THIS,DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE::::I take back the nice review I left,I bought a truck from here.It had 132k on it,2 weeks after owning it I notice a few things about the truck that raised suspicion.Did some digging and research to find out in 2015 the truck had 170k on its after doing the math the truck really had 202k on it.The odometer was rolled back.The odometer was rolled back in 2015 in Pa.Automax had to of known they were selling the truck with a rolled back odometer,they know what they are selling.There is a previous review saying the same thing about having a rolled back odometer.Ive been waiting 4 days for them to call me but to what surprise they are avoiding me. Everyone was so nice it’s hard not to buy from them,so don’t fall victim to this place**Update from their reply**Nope it was this Auto max,I have the receipt in front of me,i will post it if i have to,just to show the world i was cheated and that your reply is to simply cover yourself.I have pictures of the building with me standing in front of the truck i just purchased.So there is no denying it,All im asking is this to be fair,the truck has 202k on it not 131k i just want to pay the actual value and go on about my life,im not trying to be nasty but i have every reason to be nasty.

STAY AWAY!! We bought a 2007 Honda Ridgeline, just took it to the Honda dealership and it needs 8k dollars in repairs. Broken engine mounts, leaking gaskets, broken battery harness on and on. Waiting for a call back from the owner, but seeing the reviews here I’m not expecting much. Stay away from this place. We all work too hard for our money to be conned like this.

Initially I thought buying my van here was an awesome experience. Everyone seemed very nice and the lady that did our paperwork seemed very nice and sincere. Guess first thing that shouldve tipped me off was that there were 3000 more miles on the vehicle when we test drove it than what was listed online. When asked about it she admitted that she had used that van for a few trips and it drove very well then she sent Wendy out to get the actual mileage. She then said the only issue had been a bad right front caliper and when the mechanic fixed it he used too much grease and it had smoked when it got hot but all was good now. We drove 2 and 1/2 hours to purchase this vehicle. A few days later we had it inspected and had to purchase almost $500 in parts to get it through inspection. One part was the right front caliper along with brakes and rotor! We called them and spoke to Wendy when it passed inspection to give them the certificate number so they could send in the paperwork for tags and registration on 1/22 and was told it would be done immediately. 2/4 my temp tag expired and I called them again only to be told they were waiting for paperwork and they would send temp tags out asap. 2/8 still no tags, called again and spoke to Wendy and every question I asked was responded to with Sorry for the delay, everything will be done Monday even when I asked to speak to someone else, same response. She finally said have a nice day and hung up on me. I called again on 2/12 to see what was done Monday and Wendy said everything was processed. So I asked for a tracking number, she said there wasnt one. Then said the finacial manager had done all the paperwork and I asked who that was and was told she couldnt give me that information! I asked how I could track the paperwork and she put me on hold and got back on to give me the title and tag numbers that a woman in the background told her. I recognized her voice as being the same woman that lied about the caliper being replaced. 2/14 my tags came and today 2/19 the temp tags came, they took 15 days to go 2 and 1/2 north. Ended up being the worst experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle!!

It does not match the car and the carfax report.I looked at a vehicle they said had 103,000 miles but the car fax reported a state inspection from 1 year ago that the car was already over 182,000 miles.I have reported this deceitful dealership to the BBB, the mileage was clearly tampered with.

They have an impressive ad touting themselves a a stealership that guarantees financing. But you must have a down payment equivalent to buying a house. On a 5,000 dollar car they want 3500 down. Yeah, everyone with less than perfect credit has all that money just burning a hole in their pocket right? If I had that much laying around, Id buy the car I want outright and own it. There are tons of private sellers with the same car make and model selling their cars for around that much. Could be why they have the same cars on Craigslist for months. They need to reword their advertising because yes we finance all credit is total bs. What they dont tell you is you better have a boat load of money to put down.

This was my first experience with Auto Max Auto.I learned of them through searching the net for a particular vehicle I was looking for, and they happened to have a potential Keeper for me. I was very apprehensive at first, not knowing anyone at the dealer, or the area. I live about 45 minutes away. I phoned the dealership to confirm that the vehicle I was interested in was still there, and I spoke with Angela, who informed me that it in fact was still available. I said Id like to come on in and check it out, and he said, Great. Itll be up front and ready for you when you get here. I cant say enough about Angela as my sales contact. She was outstanding. No slick sales gimmicks, no pressure, no attempts at manipulative ploys. Just great, accomodating service. It sounds like a cliche, but we hit it off like this she been my buddy for years. And trust me, Im a skeptical type of personality. I ended up purchasing the vehicle I was interested in, for a price that I was comfortable with. No hassles. Just civil, relaxed negotiations. Angela went above and beyond when I had questions about carafax info. She was able to locate original service records from original owner, of which detail could not be matched... Unbelievable! Gave me complete peace of mind, which we all know, is close to priceless.

Sold a truck to us that had broken engine mounts and broken seals in the rear casing.AND the oil pan was stripped and needed to be replaced immediately.And then they reply saying they never sold a truck to me.Do you not keep records?!Sold Honda Ridgeline to us last summer...
