My husband got my engagement ring here with a life guarantee which is very convenient because sometimes little gems fall off and my stone gets kind of foggy so I just drop my ring off and pick it up next day, looking like the first day, and then we got our wedding bands which were beautiful matching.

My fiancé and I have nothing but the BEST to say about Jared, specifically this location (Madison, WI - West). Everyone, and we mean everyone -- from the sales team, to the jewelers, to the management -- at this location is top notch in customer service and hospitality. From the moment you step into the store to the minute you leave, they greet you warmly -- by name for those of us who are now regulars -- and typically we end up chatting before even diving in to the reason for our visit. They care to learn about their guests and build that relationship, which encompasses trust and so much more. We cannot stress enough that they will not only take excellent care of you but also provide genuine, personal attention to help you find exactly what you are looking for and more! We 1st came in to this location to browse engagement rings and Artie was our salesman. He chatted with us a bit to grasp an idea of who we are and what we were looking for. They had an array of beautiful pre-set/designed rings, but what really caught our attention was the ability to create our own custom design. I was looking for with a band with a scalloped look from the side, so that the diamonds on the band were exposed at the side view and we were able to compare single solitaires, in which Artie placed on the setting for us to get an idea as to how it would look as a finished piece. I was IN LOVE. He took the time to sit and chat with us, not rushing us one bit. Come to find out, my fiancé ended up putting the band and solitaire on hold and went back a few days later to purchase it. Artie provided nothing but the utmost care and attention to my fiancé and exceeded his expectations. He was sure to provide my fiancé with all documentation while thoroughly discussing all imperative information when making this decision. He not once pressured my fiancé and took the time to address all questions. We are so thankful to have had Artie as our salesman, he was wonderful. After the proposal, we went back to have the ring sized, as it was originally sized based on my finger measurements although was still a tad loose. We were greeted with excitement, as if they were a part of the family and were eager to hear about the engagement! We dropped my ring off that morning and had it back the same day! We then went in for an appraisal event and had nothing but wonderful service from the 3rd party rep. they brought in, as well. Weve been back in quite often, as they provide complimentary cleanings (who doesnt want their bling as sparkly as can be?!), as we live close by and again, there is nothing but sincere generosity each and every single time we arrive, even if Artie isnt on-site, the entire team shines and is eager to help. Ive gone back again now that its winter and wanted my ring sized down a little further but was a little nervous, as my knuckle is slightly larger than the base of my finger and they took their time, measuring my finger again, having the jeweler (Jake!) meet with me and discuss his suggestions/options and again, another fantastic experience. In that day and out that day! Beautiful work, as well. They are happy to size it until it fits just right!, which means a lot that they are willing to make sure every single aspect of your experience is nothing but perfect. When you experience this type of service and the fact that all aspects of the staff/every single person is professional, passionate and personable -- both those on the floor who are on display at all times, but also the behind-the-scenes team members and management -- it just shows this is much more than a business, they treat you like family. We wholeheartedly trust the team at Jared and they just continue to be an amazing decision and addition to our love story, especially with the most precious jewelry well ever own. The staff at this location were excellent, especially Suna. She was very welcoming to me being someone who was a bit intimidated and unfamiliar with jewelry. She started off by educating me on diamonds (clarity, cut, size etc). I was able to find the perfect one in under an hour and pick it up in just 2 days!

Better than the pricing and selection was the level or care and customer service we received; every customer who walked through the door was greeted like family during our visit. Went to Jared’s to get engagement ring sized and was welcomed by the entire team. I was able to walk in on short notice and had my fiancé’s ring back quickly, sparkling more than I first purchased it. I had been shopping around at many jewelry stores in town, looking for a diamond engagement ring. To the best of my experience, the prices at Jared were the best in town. Patrick at Jared also happened to be the most helpful of any salesperson I encountered. I purchased my engagement ring at another store in Madison. When I went to get it cleaned and checke . They gave me a high estimate of work that needed to be done. I brought it into Jareds and they said the work did not need to be done for a few years; my diamonds were still tight in the setting. They gave me an estimate for the same work and it was 1/3 of the price. If I would have purchased my ring there, they do this work for free. They were so friendly and helpful! I would not recommend anyone to shop here. I have had numerous issues with my engagement ring over the last 8.5 years. The greatest issue being with my last visit, where my ring was sent back 6 times. They have completely changed the look of my wedding/engagement ring and they cant get it to look like it originally did. Apparently when they were rhodium plating the ring, it was buffed to hard and they had to add metal to my ring. The metal is now wavy looking and looks like melted metal on my ring. This whole ordeal has been very upsetting to me, considering all of the sentimental value it has to me. I will never let them touch my ring again. I would hate for anyone else to go through what I have. Please do not shop here.

My fiance and I went here to purchase a wedding band. The woman who helped us was so wonderful and showed us exactly what we wanted and we ended up purchasing two rings. One of the rings couldnt be sized in house because of its warranty so they had to order one for us via their online ordering system. We paid in full for both rings at the time of purchase. We were told we would get an email confirmation of the ring the same day, never did. There was no word from them for a week and a half so my fiance went back to the store expressing his concern and another woman told him we wouldnt be emailed until the ring arrive at the store and that it could be 4-6 weeks. So we waited for a call or email and never got it. Then two days ago my fiance had a voice mail on his phone from Jared asking him to call back in one hour or they will send our ring back because there is a balance of the full price of the ring and it has been sitting at their store for more than 30 days (which we calculated to be impossible) - which we paid in full for and had the receipt for. Of course my fiance was at work and couldnt possibly call back in ONE hour and so we were convinced they had scammed us out of $500 and we would never get my ring. They were completely irresponsible and unprofessional and scared the hell out of us. We will never shop here again and if I didnt love my rings so much, we would have returned them both. I do not suggest Jared for important purchases like wedding bands.

Jade was incredibly helpful when we visited looking for a chain for a Pandora charm because the Pandora store in the mall hardly had any selection after the holidays. He listened to my requests and concerns, and brought out the items they had in stock for Pandora (so many more than the actual Pandora store!), waited patiently while I tried them, and even pulled alternatives from different display cases. I ultimately went with a non-Pandora chain, and am so happy with it. We will be visiting this location again, for Pandora and otherwise. Thank you!

I had a fantastic experience at Jared! I was helping my brother pick out an engagement ring, and we were given the undivided attention of the salesman and the manager. They went out of their way to find exactly what my brother was looking for. Neither of us had a lot of experience in shopping for rings, and the salesman and manager were considerate in answering all of our questions. My brother left with a ring that his fiancée absolutely loved. I also know that she took the ring back to get it re-sized. She was very surprised at how quickly they re-sized it. If this would’ve been our first visit to Jared, we would probably not go back.We purchased a pendant for our daughters 40th birthday and asked them to replace the diamond with her birthstone. In the process, the prongs broke and a new pendant needed to be ordered. That meant our daughter would not get her gift until well after her birthday. I could deal with that, but I didn’t appreciate the round about story they told us. I made it quite clear that it’s better to tell their customer the truth when there is a mishap.I’m willing to give a second chance... but never a third.They do have beautiful jewelry and some unique jewelry, too. Brought a brand new watch here to be fitted. The next day the pin fell out and the band separated, almost dropping the watch on the ground. Brought it to a professional watch shop and found out it was done completely wrong. Should have guessed when she couldn’t even figure out how to set the date and time. Liz was fantastic! I had Jared’s make a custom ring for an engagement and let me tell you they really knocked it out of the park! Liz the sales associate who worked with me kept me informed every step of the process which was awesome! She was there every time I went there to see the ring or the digital version. I was a little hesitant to shop at Jared. Mostly because Ive seen the ads and they are kind of cheesy. But I was looking for a gift for my great grandmother for her 89th birthday, and I didnt have a lot of time. I had a budget it wasnt small, it wasnt huge. A young woman named Lyric greeted me with enthusiasm and help me pick out the most beautiful piece of jewelry that I couldve imagined. She did not pressure me, she merely guided me. She even gave me options that were at the lower end of my budget which is surprising as I assume that she works on commission although I did not ask her. She also gave me time to shop, checked back appropriately, and was patient besides having several customers milling around waiting for help. The store was beautiful the rest of the staff were also nice. But I must say that I will shop at Jared again, and in the Madison area I would highly recommend Lyric. I hope I spelled that right! Great overall experience!! Oh and Grams LOVED the necklace!

My boyfriend surprised me with a diamond ring for our 2 year anniversary ♥ He hadnt purchased the ring at Jareds but they were so helpful resizing it for me and making sure my diamonds were tightened. They cleaned it for free and it looks amazing! They used a microscope camera to show me the stones up close and took the time to make it a teaching moment which I appreciated. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome and special even though my ring wasnt from their store. I will definitely be bringing my jewelry here from now on for repairs. Ive found that most stores send your ring away for up to 2 weeks - Jareds had mine resized and ready for pick up that same night. I dropped it off around 6:00 p.m. and they had it finished by 8:00 p.m.!

My husband bought my beautiful engagement ring at Jareds in Madison. I absolutely love it. But, since then, I have not had a single good interaction with Jareds. Service is never completed when they say it will be, and if you call to check on the status (because they will not call to keep you updated if things go beyond the quoted time), staff is argumentative and unwilling to take the time to look into the issue.They resized my ring incorrectly to begin with and didnt notice that it was structurally unsound until I took it in for a regular inspection. When it failed inspection, they didnt tell me. They tried to fix it and started working on the ring without my knowledge or permission and it went so poorly that they hammered out detail on the sides of the ring and it was extremely crooked. They offered to order me a new ring. I accepted. They forgot.I called several times over the course of the 3-4 months I was waiting for the new ring, as my wedding date approached, and was brushed off by employees every single time. They said these things take time, you dont need to call. They never bothered to get my information and look up my order. Eventually, we went into the store to check on it, but the person who would know wasnt there. They said theyd call us the next day, which they did not. But we called again and finally discovered that they NEVER ORDERED THE REPLACEMENT RING.When they actually did replace the ring, they ordered the wrong head and had to replace that. When we got it back, the diamond was mounted crooked. They fixed that.Most recently, against my better judgement, I got my ring engraved there. They said it would be ready the same day, but it wasnt ready for about 36 hours, and when we called to check, staff was again argumentative and rude. The engraving is unreadable.I still have a warranty on my ring, but I dread taking it in for inspections and service. Perhaps weve just had phenomenally bad luck, but since theyve dropped the ball at every point, I do not recommend this jeweler.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. DO NOT TAKE WATCHES IN FOR REPAIR! I called ahead to see if they serviced my valuable watch. They said they did. When brought in, the salesman had no idea of the value of the watch (which they should if they actually serviced them). Told it would take 3 weeks. Went to pick it up and they handed me the watch and it wasnt running. They tried to get me to take it home. They then took it in the back and suddenly it was working. Brought it home since they said they could do nothing more. It was dead again in 2 days. Took it in the a licensed dealer in Chicago. My watch then had to be sent to SWITZERLAND because it had been so messed up at Jareds. In previous years, it had gone to Chalmers with no problems but they had stopped servicing this brand of watch. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE of dishonesty here!!

I wouldnt tell my worst enemy to shop at a Jared jewelry store. Our whole experience has been deplorable. We ordered a custom engagement and matching wedding band back in April. We were first told we wouldnt be billed until we approved the rendering at least, but we received a bill immediately. After being told not to pay it, we also received interest charges and late fees. We were also overcharged as there were less diamonds used on the actual rings compared to the initial proposal. They also tack on a payment protection plan on your bill automatically, and if you dont notice it on your first bill and tell them to stop charging you for it, it continues. Mind you, this is a charge of $85-95 per month. We are still trying to work with the loan company and customer service to work these issues out in August. Aside from the billing issues, the rings itself took just over 10 weeks to complete instead of the 6-8 weeks that we were promised. Granted the reason for the delay was legitimate; however, instead of telling us these reasons and being upfront with us, we were brushed off each time we called. We were always told itll be ready in a couple days. After a couple days, we were told the same thing. Overall, we were lied to and cheated. The only good thing I can say is the third party company that they sent our rings to in order to be created, did an amazing job. My rings are beautiful. Most likely due to the fact that the Jared company themselves didnt do any work on the rings whatsoever.

Jared has become a negative word in our family. Sales have been fairly simple, service is another story. Even with paperwork, there are always issues with finding our information for warranty related work. Wish we could transfer our warranties somewhere else. Screws up engagement rings and puts the blame on you. My friend has only been engaged for a month and her ring has been in the shop more than she has worn it. For starters, her fiancee ordered a size 6 and they gave him a 4... so when he proposed the ring was too small. They resized it in a day but then the diamond fell out. So they put it back in and is now crooked (which they said she must have bumped it). There are cuts on the side of the ring for when they tried to correct their mistakes on the decorative details... its just a mess. They claim the ring looks perfect. Terrible. Still battling it out, but the poor girl just wants to wear her engagement ring. I would never suggest anyone going here EVER.

I appreciate the workmanship, but the store seems a little disorganized. Everytime someone appeared to be coming to help you, they would go do something else. I think the wait time is a little excessive. Additionally, I think the store policy of a promise date for repairs is uncalled for. Since people are so busy these days, it certainly would not be that great of an effort for someone to call the customer to let them know their item is ready. Case in point...I did not remember my promise date but I happen to be in the area and stopped to see if my ring was ready. It was. My other ring was not due to be ready after being informed of the promise date...and yet, it was also in the store way before its promise date. This is why I believe your store policy borders on the ridiculous.

I purchased my husbands wedding band with diamonds...and before our first anniversary, a diamond fell out. I took it in and they wouldnt replace it because I hadnt come in for a six month check. I paid to have it replaced. Less than 2 years later ANOTHER diamond fell out...from a different location. I am not going to even bother asking them to replace it. I know what the answer will be. I have lots of jewelry, and I have never had a diamond fall out! My husband has a desk job so it isnt even as if he is hard on his ring. Obviously whoever sets those diamonds is not doing a good job. I will never buy another piece of jewelry from them. Maybe they set them this way on purpose...who knows...now I have to buy another diamond. Very disappointed....I thought they were a reputable jeweler.

I brought a Victorinox watch in for a battery replacement. I was told that even though they replaced the battery, the watch wasnt working, so I authorized them to give me a repair estimate. More than two weeks later I receive an estimate of over $200 for what they called a clean oil and adjust. Since Id only owned the watch for a little over 3 years and it was a quartz, I brought it to a local watch repair shop that Id done business with before. In 5 minutes the repairman had diagnosed the problem. The guys at Jared had damaged the watch in two different places while trying to replace the battery, making it unworkable. He then offered to fix it with parts in stock for a price of $52.50. He also gave me a 1 week turn around on the repair. Horrible experience with the guys at Jared, and Ill never go back.

I bought a $6,000 ring for my wife in November 2011, and I paid around $400 for ring insurance to cover any damages or lose of the ring. A couple week ago, we found out that there is a crack in the big stone. We brought it back to Jared to take a look and repair it on 10/28/2012. You know what they said the insurance is not cover this damage. Now, I am filing a small claim court against them. Jared is a scam Jewelry company. Do not buy anything from them. poor service, poor produce, scam. Please google the reviews on internet. There are a lot of bad reviews about this company. It is a regret of my life to decide to purchase the ring from this scam Jewelry company.

If I could leave an 1/8th of a star I would.Jareds jewelry is of such poor quality and they do not honor their warrantys that they sell at a premium.Pandora bracelet:Wrap around charm kept popping off, replaced it with another and that one eventually fell off somewhere. The Pandora bracelet itself kept coming unlatched. Replaced that, and that one is now gone, lost somewhere. The warranty? Ha, Pandora is discontinued so no luck there and Jareds wouldnt budge on any other options.My carat black diamond engagement ring, the diamond fell out in the first year.I had been in and had it cleaned as required, it was repaired because it was loose, but they refused to honor the warranty because I did not TELL them to inspect it when I had it cleaned. Wouldnt having it repaired cover an inspection???Do not waste your money at Jareds, their business practices are unscrupulous and their jewljew is obviously subpar.🤬

The only reason Jared earns this one-star rating is because Google wont let me give them zero stars. I have never written an online review before, but my experience at Jared was so incredibly poor that I felt it necessary to share. Jared was my fiances and my first stop when looking for engagement rings. Boy was that a bad decision. From the moment we set foot in the gallery, we were treated as if the salespeople saw dollar signs flashing before their eyes instead of people when they looked at us. They made it very clear that they did not care if we found the perfect engagement ring, as long as our money still ended up in their pockets. Being new to the world of diamonds, my fiance and I initially just wanted some simple questions answered about what the cut, clarity, etc of a diamond really meant. Before we knew it, we were no longer talking about diamonds, but had already had a diamond & setting practically chosen for us by the salesperson, who had already moved on to talking about payment plans. Never ONCE did we say that we wanted to buy the diamond or the setting. When we tried to express to the salesperson that we wanted to wait and keep looking, his reaction was so unprofessional that I was literally stuck speechless. He suddenly turned very defensive and whined to us like a child about being upset that we didnt like the ring anymore. To smooth over the situation, and frankly because we were so taken aback by his response, we agreed to hold on to the ring and think about it. At this point, the salesperson explained the only way we could do so was by opening a Jared account...without mentioning that opening an account made us accountable for a payment within one month. Luckily, after returning home, my fiance and I read the fine print on our agreement. We returned a week later to close our account before being charged for a ring we never said we wanted to buy. Again, the salesperson completely shocked us with how rude & accusatory he was when we talked about closing the account. He made it seem like it was somehow our fault that our experience at Jared had been poor. We tried to offer some constructive feedback, but the salesperson became defensive and said that there was no point in arguing because he knew we were wrong. I have never been treated so unprofessionally in a place of business before. Instead of feeling excited & comfortable with our first ring shopping experience, we felt pressured, insignificant & charged with blame when the transaction fell through. I will NEVER set foot in Jared again, and you better believe I will be advising others to follow in my footsteps.

Customer service is awful and I’ve had 2 issues already with my engagement ring and have only had it for 6 months (both times they acted annoyed and frustrated that I had brought the ring back to be fixed). Sales staff is trash. Unless you had interest in buying the most expensive ring they didnt give the time of day and gave attitude back after being unhelpful. The engagement ring Id bought had 2 defects within 6 months of buying it. The diamond itseld came unseated and they didnt believe us until we shook the diamond out of it in the store. Their jewelry workers cant solder the resizing and that cracked and wont acknowledge that it is an actual crack you can see through under any regular microscope. 0 stars isnt allowed but screw these jabronies

I had a horrible experience after being a customer for many years. After buying a levian ring for 2000 dollars I had an earring that needed repair. A month later still no call saying its done. Excuses made saying the information was in the back of a ticket and still no earring unless I wanna go get it. Make sure u take everything in every 6 months or warranty null and void. Wont be going back short and rude eight passing off that the customer was wrong!!!!!

Customer service at Jared on the west side is terrible. We have spent around $17,000 there in the past twelve months and have been treated terribly. We have bought an engagement ring, both wedding bands, a nice Movato watch and even upgraded the bands on my engagement and wedding ring. The manager is Harry is terrible and I also would not recommend this store to my worst enemy. I have heard nothing but good things about Kesslers and we will definitely give them a try when we upgrade jewelry in the future. Nothing but lies have come out of the Jared store.

Brought a bracelet for my wife. All so got the lifetime replacement. The bracelet btoke twice in one month. The 3rd time I took it back in the salesman told me that maybe your wife shouldnt ware it. Then they informed me that I would have to bay for the lifetime replacement again.So if I have to by the replacement plain. Why call it lifetime warranty.Would never go back.The bracelet broke again. Went to a different store to get the same thing. Hasnt broke.

I made the biggest mistake of my life for buying at Jareds. I can’t give much detail because I still have to take the ring in every 6 months. Which by the way is a joke. We got it checked and 2 weeks later we found a crack in the main diamond. So we bring it in, and they tell us 8 weeks before we get it back. To start from the beginning, we got a custom ring made there, BIG mistake don’t do it through Jareds. They messed up over 5 times, lied when we asked if it was done, made the trip out there many times and the ring wasnt ready. Their employees admitted the ring wasnt done properly, their customer service was horrid. Sure they are nice, but their customer service was beyond awful. Please please please listen to me and don’t buy anything from them. We contacted corporate who had to reach out the store and made them remake us another ring. I bought the first one in the summer and we finally got the final finished ring 7 months later, which by the way we didn’t have it for our engagement shoot, even though we were told we would have it by then. They never once offered instore credit or anything for all our troubles. I will never buy anything from them again. Please listen and buy anywhere else. Don’t buy from them just because they come off as nice.

If I could leave it at zero stars I would...The worst customer service experience I have ever had.We bought an engagement and wedding set at a local jewelers about a month ago. The local jewelry store wasnt the best and we had some trouble and after we ordered our rings they advised us that they dont do any work in store and everything is sent out and is at least a two week turnaround for service work of any kind. They did advise us at the time that they are owned by the same parent company as jareds. They explained that we could go into any jareds to have work done with same day service and it would be covered under our warranty. Instead of waiting the two weeks plus to have our ring sent out for soldering we decided to stop in at a jareds while on vacation.We originally had to argue with the salespeople about what we were told about the warranty. They denied the whole thing and we ended up having to argue with both the original local store and the jareds to get it handled. After that the guy told us it would take a few hours to get the ring done and to come back later in the afternoon to pick it up. We actually gave them an extra hour plus what they asked for. When we came back in later that day they were all chipper until they tried to hand me my ring and I immediately handed it back and told them it wasnt my ring. The guy looked completely confused and had no idea what to do at this point. He ran around for about ten minutes with no conclusion. At this point my husband told them we would give them more time and come back later because I looked like I was going to kill everyone in the store. He had to physically drag me out of there and try to distract me. About 15 minutes later they called to say yes they found the ring and would start the work immediately. About twenty minutes after that we got a second call basically saying oops our bad we damaged your ring. We chipped two diamonds. Oops. Well have to fix it but itll be a couple weeks for us to get the diamonds in. We basically told them no they needed to figure out a different solution. That the whole reason we came in for service was because we didnt want it to take a few weeks. We had heard such horror stories about rings getting lost when being sent out.After going up the management ladder to the district/regional manager he figured out a way to get the new diamonds in a day later and explained they would get the work done immediately. We then told them we also wanted to be reimbursed for all the service fees they had charged which they reluctantly agreed to.When we went back to pick up the ring we got more horrible service as they explained this happens all the time. I wouldnt be surprised if it happens all the time at their store but it is not a normal experience at reputable stores. I will never go back to this store and I will think twice before ever going to a jareds again. A womans wedding set is never a whatever thing. It is devastating to learn it has been damaged and wont be the same ever again.After twenty minutes of them trying to figure out how to do a refund. We finally got out of there. Im still not happy with the quality but I will be taking it to a different jeweler to look at. And my husband still wouldnt let me drive when we left since I still wanted to drive my car through the front of the store.

My fiancé first went to Jareds when he needed links taken out of his watch, and I needed some jewelry fixed that I already owned. We had a great experience, and so when we got engaged, we went back so I could pick out my ring. I knew I was going to be a bit tough, as I wanted something pretty unique, primarily with the fact that I wanted either a morganite (which is pink) or a pink sapphire. He said he would order in a few stones to choose from. We were open to both created sapphires and natural. Since morganite wasnt covered by their warranty and was a bit softer, we were leaning towards sapphire, but asked him to order in some morganite to look at anyways. He only ever received a natural sapphire that had barely any color to it, in a princess cut when I had really wanted a cushion. We had been working with Jade, and stopped in to see the 1 stone he had gotten. He wasnt there at the time, but someone else showed us the stone. It was not what we wanted (remember, barely any color and not cushion... and frankly way out of our budget) so we told the person who showed it to us to tell Jade we stopped in, and it wasnt what we wanted, and to keep looking and keep us posted. We never heard anything back. We ended up getting a ring next door at The Diamond Center, it ended up being a cushion cut morganite with lots of color, and the morganite IS covered under their warranty (which by the way, is not voided if you forget to make your 6 month cleaning). I couldnt be happier with the ring I got next door. I feel like Jade just wrote us off when he realized we were not going to be an easy sale. So, Jareds could be good for something simple, but if you want a complex purchase, or something as important as your engagement ring, I wouldnt go to Jareds.

I have never been so upset with a business as I am with the Jareds In Madison. My fiancé bought my ring there about a year ago and in the last 4 months I have had mine in to be repaired twice. Once in Des Moines Iowa because my large center stone was loose and now to replace a diamond that fell out. Luckily we have had it inspected as we should and didnt have to pay for the repairs. And a second time this week because a Diamond was missing.Today our experience was terrible. Dropped my ring off at around 11 today and was treated very rude from the second I spoke to the man helping me. He first told me that my ring could be done tomorrow. I drove from 3 hours to have my ring repaired as we dont live in Madison any longer, and was told it would be a couple hour repair when previosuly calling in to see if I needed to schedule an appointment or if it would need to be sent off, we had planned to take my son to the zoo and to pick the ring up on our way out of town. After realizing I wasnt going to be coming back tomorrow to pick up my ring the man says well when do you wanna pick it up? I explained I had driven from out of town with the intention of a couple hour repair blah blah blah, he stated it was a busy day and it couldnt be done till 8pm at the earliest. Fantastic. He then proceeds to say to me well wouldnt you rather it be done right than quickly actually I would prefer my very expensive ring been fixed appropriately the first time it was in there shop to be repaired and I wouldnt be here. Needless to say I left very angry and upset.I called in around 5 to check on my ring and to make sure they knew to call as soon as it was ready so I could get myself and my 4 year old back on our way home. She again stated it was a busy day but it was on track to be done at 8 but couldnt tell me where it was in the process of being done or if it had even been started yet... Fine.I came in to the store around 7:30 in hopes my ring would be done. I walk in the store to find an empty room where they work on the rings, and a jeweler and a salesman standing on the floor casually talking. At this point I assume my ring is done since the jeweler is chatting with her coworkers and it mad made known twice that day to please call as soon as the ring was ready or even close to being ready-so i could get there ASAP to get out of town.Nope. Still wasnt done. So the salesman says to me- about 5-10 min shes just finishing it. Okay. Fine. She proceeds to go into the room, work on typing the information up, i at no point saw her actually doing anything to my ring- but did see her working on a few others, she then proceeds to sit and type up some paperwork which i can only assume wasnt related to my ring as i continues to wait another 20+ minutes before the salesman went back to the area and found my ring in what I can assume was a done basket.. At no point does she communicate the salesman that hey this ring that the customer is waiting on is ready. He then comes out to show me it and inspect and send me on my way. No paperwork or anything.... After my experience I do NOT trust them to have the accurate paperwork on file, Id like my paperwork thank you very much. I do not trust this store in the slightest. especially after reading other reviews.I would normally not write a review or be so snarky to an employee as I have always worked in customer service type rolls and I understand sometimes its out of your hands, but the service received today was the worst I have ever experienced. Its funny how buying a ring was so easy and pleasant yet the service received afterwards has been some of the worst Ive ever experienced. I most defiantly not be walking into that store again. We will from now on always go else where. Its unfortunate I will forever have to have this ring inspected there after paying so much money for it and the warranty... I sure hope nothing else happens as today was the worst experience Ive ever had.

On March 15th I took my TAG to Jared in Madison for a cleaning and overhaul. I called them on April 4th for an update, and they said they could not find the paperwork nor the watch. I told them I did not want to go through with the deal and then they notified their headquarters that they had received the watch from me. I called Jared on the 9th of April, and they said they still had it in the store because I had told them to cancel the order. Then they told me it was being packed up for UPS to leave the store today. I called their parent, Sterling Jewelers and told them the story and that I wanted compensation for my time and trouble and for the way I had been treated. The headquarters told me they will call me back on Monday, the 13th of April with the verdict. I dont want to keep dealing with them, but want to see what type of compensation they are able to arrange for me.IT IS NOW ONE WEEK LATER. I tried to talk with the salesman, Greg, and he was never in. The woman I spoke to didnt know anything about my case, and didnt even know where the watch was to be repaired - But she thought it would be sent back to the factory in Switzerland since the watch was manufactured there. I called the parent company of Jared, Sterling Jewelry and spoke to Aleca in the merchandise department. She seemed sympathetic and said she would call back with details of what is happening after she spoke with the salesman. I called back Tuesday and Wednesday - Could never Aleca, but did speak with her supervisor. The supervisor offered to knock off $100 off the repair cost - I told her it was not enough. She said she did not know how much the repair would cost, and then said she needed that figure to tell me what the refund might be. Stay tuned - This is a nightmare, and I despair of ever getting my watch back in satisfactory condition. I am thinking of canceling the order and buying an Apple Watch - A new Apple Watch will cost less than getting my TAG repaired. I will continue to update this review from time-to-time.

I am really impressed with the whole Jardes experience. The salesman Jade started us off in a small room off to itself and explained; color, cut, clarity, and what makes each diamond different. My well, girlfriend at the time saw a ring on the commercial that she really liked. Unfortunately with a size four, your options are limited. We were there for hours. Finally we found the perfect setting. Now, most salesmen would try to up sell you on the better diamond. I have been through countless hours of sales training on how to urge people in the direction of my larger wallet. The difference between the Peerless and the Leo is not only apparent, but down right substantial. I could see the difference in the way the facets captured the light. My girlfriend on the other hand could not tell the two apart. Jade told us that if she couldnt tell the difference in the diamonds that we should not go for the nearly grand difference. To me the money wasnt the issue, it was if she was happy or not. It was obvious that Jade had the same goal. The only thing that was not fun was the wait for the ring, nothing to do with Jared btw. So, Jade gave us a loner ring. It was a size seven and they just put an extreamly small sizer in it. That was no less then a little humors. Neil Lane took what seemed like forever, but they did have to cast the ring from scratch. It was in sooner than anticipated. Plus my girl had a ring that had not been on anyones finger. She really like that it was made just for her. Thanks again Jareds, and I may be back for a watch.
