I have tried to give LazyBoy ample time to make our experience and purchase right, but unfortunately we are still waiting. So I wanted to make others aware of our experience. We ordered a new couch in November 2020. We anxiously awaited the 4-6 months delivery delay. We were so excited to get our couch in May 2021. It was delivered on a Saturday morning by the third party delivery crew that was hired by LazyBoy. Unfortunately after they left, my husband noticed damage to our laminate flooring. He called the LazyBoy store we ordered from and they said that we needed to contact the delivery company in order for them to take care of it. This should have been our first red flag, as we did not hire the delivery company, LazyBoy did, and therefore they should have called them and made it right with us. This did not happen. My husband had to repeatedly call to try and check status and get a hold of the delivery company. Once he finally did get a hold of the delivery company, they called us liars and told us that their crew did not do the damage. After a heated conversation where we had to defend ourselves, the delivery crew said to get a quote to fix the flooring and that they would take care of it. So we got a quote from the apartment company we were renting from, and sent that to the delivery crew, they have not responded and will not return our calls. So we contacted our local store again and they said they would try and get a hold of the delivery crew. We never heard anything. So I decided to call corporate LazyBoy as we had still not heard anything. They stated that the local store should have directed me to the corporate line in the first place. I contacted them 8/12 and they said they would reach out to the store and delivery crew to make it right. I never heard anything else. So I put in another call to corporate two weeks after my initial call and they said they had sent an email and were awaiting a response. We have still not heard anything from Lazyboy and it’s the end of September 2021. Meanwhile, we are out the money to fix the flooring, after we spent a good amount of money in the store purchasing the couch. Both of our parents and grandparents are Lazyboy customers and we were looking forward to being customers for our future couch needs. However, this experience with customer service, and the lack of care or concern for the service we received is alarming. I do not think we will be purchasing LazyBoy in the future, because for the price of their furniture, I would expect better customer care. I am writing this review as a caution to others. We do love our couch, but honestly it is not worth the months long customer service issue we are currently going through.

Great experience first time out shopping in 2021 and Boats made it seamless. He has great energy and knows the answers to all of your questions, doesnt have to ask anyone so I am assuming he has been there a while! He took very good care of us even having us talk to the instore designer to make sure our custom color we wanted would go well with our colors at home. Great prices and made in America, cant beat that.

I had the best experience buying new living room furniture by using the free design service that was offered.At first I was a little nervous because I can be pretty picky. My husband and I have completely different tastes so it has been a struggle to find something we can both agree on.Our designer, Jason was a pro. He did a great job figuring out the style that we would like by asking all the right questions. Not only that but by taking measurements he made sure that the ideas he had would fit our lifestyle. He even took into consideration that we have pets and heavy traffic through our living room.When we met back at the store to look at the virtual design, there was not anything we didn’t like. My husband and I BOTH loved it.Our sales rep, Olga helped breakdown the costs and did a great job explaining (in layman’s terms) the interest free financing and protection plans that were available.Together both Olga and Jason made our buying experience seamless. I would definitely recommend the Lay-Z Boy design service to anyone who needs help with a tricky floor-plan or who may struggle agreeing on a style that works for everyone in the household.

Avoid this store like the plague. Our salesman lied to us about the couch we wanted being available but the more expensive one was. When I said Id wait to get the one I wanted (perhaps until Feb) suddenly there was one more in the warehouse. Then he sold us a Pet Protection Plan because we have two cats, and sometimes catch claw furniture and leave snags. We decided within the 30 days to cancel the plan after finding out that snags are not covered (only rips and tears) and it has taken us dozen of phone calls, delays and more lies before we brought up our friend the attorney. It is within our legal right to cancel within 30 days, but the way they were proceeding that deadline was looming fast. One woman we talked said she didnt know how to cancel the plan as nobody had ever successfully done it, as far as she knew. Yikes!

Great place. Attentive salesperson. We found exactly what we wanted. We have always liked La z Boy but I wasn’t too sure what I really wanted for our specific needs. I figured we’d be able to find it and we did. Salesperson got the vibe right that we wanted to wander back and forth on our own and I appreciate that. I do not like to be “sold” anything😊

Our salesman, Jeff Tillman, was wonderfully patient and informative. I purchased 2 chairs for my elderly parents and he worked after hours to make sure the delivery date was as promised, and that the chairs would fit (giant dad, tiny mom). He was very sweet with my special-needs brother, who was in attendance to help with the selection process in the store, and gave us prices - including a military discount - for multiple items. He worked with me remotely to finalize the sale, and followed up with cell contact to verify all went well. Every store should have someone as caring, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile.

Able to find someone to help me within a minute or two of coming in the door. Initially, a female sales associate right near the entrance (who was helping someone else) looked right at me and said absolutely nothing to me. Did have to look further for someone and ask for help--no one approached me. John was the BEST at helping me find exactly what I was looking for, knowledgeable with all product questions--right down to which styles would fit my space limitations. My only complaint is the price of delivery for furniture that is at the high end if our local retail choices. For >$2000, I would have expected delivery included.

My furniture arrived this week and I couldn’t be happier with it! It fits with my decor and a friend who just dropped by thought it is just beautiful. Olga was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. LaZBoy has such an extensive catalog of furniture that it can be overwhelming to choose. However, Olga helped us efficiently narrow our selections down based on our needs. She even pointed out details that we weren’t aware to be mindful of, such as certain chair dimensions to maximize comfort, and colors to make room decoration easier. She even helped us wrangle our kids while we were trying to choose! Overall we’re very happy with our experience, and happy with the chair we chose.

Delivery truck blocked only the street to my home and then refuse to move for nearly half an hour despite it taking them about 30 seconds of effort. They should try to stop embodying their companys name and actually do a good job.

Great staff. Olga was great and gave us room to plop on everything we wanted at our own pace. We decided on a few options and she helped us narrow it down logically based on our needs and preferred layout. She also spent at least an hour with us at the fabric section as we tried to bring it all together. We adulted hard that day trying to buy a couch, chair and pillows but Olga made the whole process enjoyable and frankly, memorable.

If it were possible to give this place less than one star I would. My mother bought a chair and sofa from them and was financing due to the long lead time on receiving the items. Their fincancing bank, Synchrony Bank out of Florida has double charged her. My elderly mom has had to go back to the store more than once where the manager Eric Homola was not at all concerned with helping her get this straightened out. (he was somewhat helpful when the corporate people were their) This entire debacle has caused her much undue stress and is very upsetting. She has gotten letters from the bank saying problem has been taken care off. Then receives another past due bill.... For the items she has already paid for!!!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! If you do shop here, whatever you do dont finance it for any reason. Not worth it...

I had a very positive experience and ended up spending a large amount of money on a leather recliner that was 30% off. The salesman was extremely helpful in showing me some of the selections of what I was interested. Once I decided to buy, he quickly and smoothly placed my order and also arranged for the delivery. I was quite impressed and pleased. Im looking forward to getting my comfortable recliner.

We were told by a friend to check out La-Z-Boy as we had been looking for a new couch without much luck in our price range. We hadn’t considered La-Z-Boy mostly because of what we had in our minds, I.e. recliners, boy, were we surprised. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and attentive and listened to what we were trying to accomplish. We were quite excited by what we saw on the floor, stylish, comfortable, and well priced. We do have a space issue, but the designer came out to our house, and gave us the guidance to make our purchase. Our experience was great, we have recommended to friends and know we have a place to go for furniture and accessories. From start to finish, we were treated well by a professional staff, very pleased.

La-Z-Boy in Lynnwood, WA was great when I wanted to purchase a new recliner chair. John was very helpful without being pushy, and made the purchasing experience very enjoyable. My only disappointment was that the chair I want had to be built and will take approximately 4 months to be delivered. But given the current pandemic situation, Im totally willing to wait for my quality American made chair.

Pros:The showroom was nice, there was a lot of variety to choose from so I got what a really wanted. And the salesman that we dealt with was really easy to work with and was well informed on the product. He wasn’t pushy at all either. Thanks Boats!Cons:Me and my fiancé were basically ignored by the sales team. Several of them just walked past us and offer to help someone else that they figured would have been more likely to make a purchase. It was very gratifying when the folks they asked just said they were browsing and didn’t buy anything and when our salesman came over he made a sale.We ordered a custom chair and it is going to be up to 6 months before it gets delivered.

Lay-z-boy was a good experience. Boats was a good and knowledgeable salesperson. The store had plenty of floor models. Masks were required and worn by all. Please know that most lay-z-boy products are made to order, so it is going to take weeks to receive your purchase. So if you are in a hurry, this may not be your place.

Wow, okay my husband and I purchased our furniture a couple years ago, it is holding up fantastic. We had a bodily fluid accident by a little house guest. I called them and with the warranty they came out and cleaned it correctly and it smells and looks as good as brand new!!! The reporting of the event was fast and simple, the warranty coverage actually covers what they say it does so strongly recommend when you make the investment in the La-Z-Boy furniture. I honestly will not purchase furniture from anywhere else!! Made the claim less than a week ago, they had the cleaning service call and they were out in a couple of days...less than a week from start to finish! Cant get any better than that.Furniture is two years old, fabric is holding up fantastic and the extra money for high quality cushions is worth the money, they are holding up fantastic!!!!!

I stopped in the store to just look and not buy. The store was open for only 15 minutes more. Boats (a nickname) helped me, no pressure sales, he spent the time to educate me, worked after the store was closed and still had no pressure so he could go home. He found the right recliner and at an amazing price. I didn’t come to buy, this was the first store I shopped, I never buy without shopping several stores to compare, totally happy with Boats, the recliner, and the price. I will recommend Boats whenever I can.

When we purchased a recliner, I understood the sales person said we had three days to return the chair if we found it unacceptable and after that time period, there would be a 30% re- stocking charge. After we got home, we discovered the store would only exchange the chair within the three days, and wed have to pay the 30% restocking fee. If I had known that, I would not have purchased the chair. Apparently, Lazy Boy doesnt believe in their products enough to allow customers to try a chair for a day or two - you cant really tell if a chair will be comfortable when sitting in it for a few minutes at the store. Now, if I find my chair isnt comfortable, I have to bring it back, pay a 30% fee and try another chair that I wont know is comfortable for a few days, and if that one doesnt work, do the same again. Mattress companies let customers use a mattress for 100 nights and will still take it back. Now, comfortable or not, Im stuck with this chair or a different one, and a 30% fee. I will never shop at Lazy boy again and will let my friends and family know about my experience.

My experience was pleasant. I had visited several furniture store prior to visiting the La-Z-Boy gallery and all fell short. None gave me much personal attention and none has much of an assortment of recliners. While at your store I was greeted at the door by a manager or owner I assume and I was introduced to my sales representative: Jeff Tillman. I discussed with him what I was looking for and off we went. Jeff showed me several reclines until he said there was one that would be perfect (classic salesman spiel to set the stage). And it worked as the chair he took me to was perfect. He also showed me a riser base which I also bought. Saturday my crew arrived in their pickup and brought it to me. No hassles.Great service and great chair. I really have to convince myself to get up from it and often fall sleep in it at night as it is so comfortable. My wifes La-Z-Boy chair is still going strong after 20 years.

My wife & I realize that the virus has affected everything, so while our Sept purchase that got delivered today was frustrating, we understood. But our salesman John was glib with us when we came in to look. Terrible at follow through as we had to reach out to the store constantly for updates, never heard back from John once! The chairs arrived today and they look very nice, we hope the quality of the chairs is better than the quality of the service. I used to be in corporate sales and would always follow up my sales deliveries with a call to my customer. I am certain this will not happen with John.And finally, I just had a quick ? to ask regarding our chairs and called in at 1:05pm. Its now 1:35pm and I am still holding! And they ask you to take a survey of their service after this call.. Which no customer service rep seems to want to answer. So in closing, the products seem great, but be aware youll be on your own for service afterwards..

Fairly quick service. Ronnie greeted my mother and me a few minutes upon entry, letting us know hed be available for any questions we had on the furniture. We wandered the store until I found a couch I liked, and we talked about customizing the couch to a pullout guest bed. Ronnie was informative on coronavirus delays in customization. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I will return for future needs.

Service is great, but if you dont order something that is placed in store, you can expect horrible delays. We make custom order (just two separate pieces connected together) at 25 of august, and we have time line from 10 to 12 weeks. We are still waiting, and will be waiting till the end of December if we will be lucky. I will inquire this transaction if sofa I will not get any news.

We purchased a sofa from La-Z-Boy in Lynnwood several years ago, and within 1 year, the fabric started to fail. We contacted them for a warranty repair and they will not repair. After waiting two months for an answer, the best they can do is 50% off a new couch. Why should we pay for a new couch? We have been loyal customers for a LONG time and this is how we are treated. La-Z-Boy does NOT honor their warranties. BUYER BEWARE. Also the Lynnwood store will talk up their merchandise but as soon as there is a problem, they want nothing to do with it. I make sure to tell everyone who comes to my house exactly where this couch was purchased.

If I could give this location zero stars I would. I strongly recommend not doing business with La-Z-Boy right now, but if you do... do NOT work with the Lynnwood store! Yes, they have a great product, I get it. But they have HORRIBLE supply issues right now... and horrible customer service. Unless you are buying something they have RIGHT THERE, IN-STORE, do not order anything from them. I have a piece that I bought 2 months ago - regular stock, NOT special order - and it has been lost from the factory and the store couldn’t care less. This was not an order, it was regular stock from the factory.... they claimed it shipped to the Kent warehouse and it’s GONE.... and every time I call the store they promise to research it and never do. The manager COULD NOT CARE LESS. They know they have a good time tested product and they have no incentive to provide customer service when they take your money. The attitude is give us your money and you’ll get it when we get around to it. Save yourself headaches and outrage.... find something else, or at least drive the extra distance to another store. DO... NOT.....ORDER FROM THE FACTORY!!!!!!!!!

This was my first and last purchasing experience with La-Z-Boy. I would never buy anything from La-Z-Boy again. We purchased a non custom sectional from this store back in November. We were told then that it would take until February 8th to get delivered due to covid. February 8th came and went with no sectional and zero contact from La-Z-Boy on a status update. We called the store 8 times and even went in to the store 3 times to get an update on our couch. Each time the sales person would say they cant help us and only the sales person who put our order together could help. How was our sales person just never there?? They would then promise to have him call us back. We never got a call back. We even submitted a complaint with the corporate contact Avenue, and never heard back from them. The couch ended up arriving 2 weeks late, and the corner piece was broken. Calling the store to get next steps yielded the same experiences as before. This has been a horrible experience, we paid $4500 for a couch that took 3 months to be built, and arrived broken. Now, we are sitting here with a sectional missing the corner piece not knowing if we are having to wait another 3 months for another corner piece that is hopefully not broken. I would think when customers spend the amount of money that they do for this furniture, the company would make sure the customer is well informed along the way. This unfortunately has not been the case and one must wonder if the corner piece arrived broken, what other nasty surprises lay around the corner with the rest of the couch. I would highly recommend shopping elsewhere.

I bought a coffee table and end table and a large picture from the Silverdale store. I explained to the salesman Dave that we were doing a remodel for my in laws and I would be back in a few weeks to pick up. One piece had to come in on transfer from the warehouse. At the time of my purchase he was nice. Seemed to have issues with the computer and entering the information. He kindly apologized and said he would need the IT dept figure something out. I gave my payment and left with his card and good faith purchase. Days went by and I had to reach out to find out where my sales receipt was. Money was refunded, I’d have to pay again. I’ll fast forward from here. I went back almost a month later to pick up. Dave said I don’t know where your end table is. He’d have to look into it. Mind you it was a Saturday. Unhappy I grabbed what was there and left. On Thursday after still not hearing from him I called. Jadon answered. He stated Dave was with a customer. I asked he look up and see if my table had made it on their transfer today. He told me it didn’t, it was on for the following week. I asked him why not, there was plenty of time since Saturday. He said your Dave’s customer and I’m not stepping into this. Wow ok. Half hour later Dave calls and immediately is rude and tells me if I don’t like it then he’ll refund my $. Trying to communicate on why, what happened and knowing when I purchased it was important to have available when I came to pick it up and you’d had a month. He kept interrupting and repeated he’d just cancel the order and give a refund. What good would this do if I had a matching coffee table. Where’s the customer service and making it right, or even an apology. I couldn’t believe the way he was speaking to me and making me feel like I was in the wrong. Frustrated and shocked I reached out to the LYNNWOOD store. I apologized for dumping the situation into them but with no manager I guess available in Silverdale needed someone to help. Olga and John were so nice, helpful and apologetic for the lack of customer service I’d received. I bought the table from them and cancelled with Dave. I’ll never go back to that store. Dave didn’t even finalize my pick up of the picture and coffee table. Olga had to email him to do so. Shame as I’d visited it and bought a lot from laZboy. I’ll travel and go to LYNNWOOD from now. They have my business.

We went in looking for 2 loungers. Really didnt see what we wanted. Then we spotted a love seat instead with a counsel in the center with cup holders and storage for the remotes. We love it!! Kelley was very helpful and patient and also ask the opinions of the decorator. I was fairly sure w I wanted the duo sofa but bought more mainly because she was so nice and patient. She knew fabric choices and could pull several samples of what I said liked and looked at pictures of my space and colors I wanted to match. I spent several hours in Dania looking for inspirationand found a nice set I could have bought but not one sales associate approached me to offer help. So I decided to leave and since I was so well taken care of without hurry or pressure to decide ay Lazboy I was able to order all 4 pieces I intended to replace at some point. In the future. Thank you

I am very disappointed. I thought shopping at a store with a reputable name would be safe. I was wrong. The quality and workmanship gets a grade of a C. The sides of my loveseat appear loose and not stretched out properly. The fabric used feels like I will be buying new furniture in a few years.Most importantly, they delivered the furniture with no protection, no covering and the delivery guys put it on the ground, face down. They said if the furniture is wrapped, it would be hard to carry. Really?!??Ive had furniture delivered before, tightly wrapped and covered. You would think with Covid, there would be EXTRA attention to details.I guess there is no next time from me because I will shop around and take my business elsewhere.

This critique is regarding their very poor customer service on a chair that quality assurance should caught before the chair went out for delivery. The recliner was purchased for $966 on 12/31/18, it was picked up at the store on 1/30/19. Two weeks later, the store is called about the slack material on the chair and our concern over how the chair will look in a year or two due to the lack of tautness (see photos). The sales person declares the chair is no longer considered new; it is 2 weeks old. Since we didnt have the chair delivered, we can haul the chair back to the store; the chair will be repaired; and then we must return to the store. Where is their customer service on something that is NOT the customers fault?We were going to buy a leather recliner. After the poor response to our concerns and lack of service, we were at Costco where they had a leather recliner for $299. Lazy-Boy needs to stand behind their products at a price of $1000. I am attaching photos to this review.

I went into the Lynnwood store to try out recliner models and check out fabric options in person. Even though they didnt have the exact model in store, Kelle pointed me to similar models to try out. She helped me pick fabrics with the shortest delivery time and highest quality, and she even told me of an upcoming sale that would allow for free shipping. I left without purchasing but with all the details I needed.I went home, applied for a store credit card in the amount of the purchase, called for my card number, and called a couple days later and completed the transaction over the phone. Being a pandemic, I was grateful for the help to find a way to not have to go in person a second time. Kelle made the process easy and she saved me a ton of money!

La-Z-Boy definitely has a great selection of well constructed furniture. My wife and I had no problem selecting a new swivel glider - the toughest thing was choosing a fabric. Our sales associate on the other hand was less than stellar. During our selection process and especially the pick-up, she gave the impression that we were wasting her time. If not for her, this would be a five-star review.

I was so very fortunate to be able to walk- in the La-Z-Boy store at the Alderwood Mall and meet John McCurry. He was so pleasant to deal with and funny. The furniture is exactly what I wanted but even with covid expectations set it was 3 1/2 months with wrong updates on delivery twice and than the store closed for multiple days to switch to a new point of sale system with no voice-mail indicating why they were not open or not answering their phones. My salesman Jay was amazing beginning to end but the customer service was out of his control and really horrendous hence the 3. Customer service should be #1.
