I recently went to the Totem Lake Kirkland Ulta Store- it felt so empty and reminiscent of the Totem Lake ghost town days before it got renovated to become The Village it is now. Only one employee was helpful; the rest I literally tried chasing down to ask a question. It was pretty off-putting how majority of the employees didnt bother to attend to customers including myself. Also, I noticed after visiting a couple times weeks later they dont restock empty nail polish slots. This experience was apparently similar to other reviewers on Google and sadly, I have to say they were pretty much right. I feel sort of bad for the one cashier who is doing her job because she must be the reason the store stays afloat. Good luck!The Ulta in Lynnwood gave me a dramatically different experience. There were a ton of customers and a couple managers on the floor, which gave off a bustling sort of vibe; it made the atmosphere fun and exciting. I checked their nail polish island area and was thrilled to see most of the colors were in stock (that I couldnt find at the Totem Lake location)! My cashier, Julia, had an amazing attitude that made it easy for me to ask questions. I was pleasantly surprised by her and her managers willingness to go above and beyond- when they werent sure about the answer to my question, they took the time to go to the counter and look it up in a binder to check if my product was in stock. I would give them a satisfactory rating because they totally deserve it-- I am coming back to this store for sure!
Love LOVE Ulta. Big store with tons of parking and other fun shops nearby. Its fun to look around and really browse everything they have. Lots of options and they had exactly what I needed. Staff was helpful and the checkout line moved quickly. Id definitely come back here.
Not sure if its always been an Ulta thing or due to COVID, but I ordered an item online to be picked up in store. Unfortunately I havent had the time to pick up the item so I called to see if I can extend the pick up date to one more extra day over onto the weekend. I was told they couldnt do that, so I went onto my Ulta account to add an alternative pick up person and called the store to confirm it was okay for the alternative person to pick it up in time. I was told by the manager that because the order was processed already, they couldnt have the alternative person pick it up even though I okayd it by phone and my Ulta account. Due to this, Ill have to cancel my order and buy the product elsewhere.
Heather in the salon has done amazing work on my hair!! I will definitely continue to see her.The store overall is really great! The sales team tends to let you be, but are available if you have questions. I appreciate that they aren’t pushy.I’ve also been to other locations where the sales team seems pretty ditzy and always asking for managers help. That doesn’t happen at Alderwood, the team seems very knowledgeable in their job duties and products. I will continue to come back!
Don’t buy don’t buy from them. I brought a dyson air wrap they don’t have it on stock so they ship it to me. Which they said shipped to my house but I didn’t get it and I call them. They said already delivered I didn’t sign anything which is a 600 dollar product. They will not ship me a new one and not refund me the money. So I just lost 600 dollar and not even have the dryer. They r not responsible. Product is not cheap don’t need a signature for delivery. They don’t respond for the product

First time going to Ulta never knew of this store before till I found out thanks to The ordinary products. What I gotta say is this pleasant lady who was willing to helped me and answer some of my questions even give me some suggestions. I was supposed to get just one item and ended it up buying $80.00 plus 🤧🤧 taking in mind the ordinary products are $6.00 to $10.00 bucks each. Too bad I forgot to ask this ladys name she was so helpful.
Last week I came in for a cut. I recently moved, from north Whidbey Island to South Everett. I searched for a few days to find a salon for a cut, and I landed with Ulta, based off a few things, one being recommendations by friends.. I was very clear on the type of hair cut I wanted, as I have been cutting it the same way for several months now, and knowing I was going to find a new stylist with my move, I came prepared with a photo and what my previous stylist said to say to keep the same style, even though I am growing it out, I have a plan in place to go through the stages of growing it out.I showed a photo of the process not just my current want. Where I was and where I want to be I explained with my texture and thickness I need it thinned on the top by my crown so it sits right. With thay I also asked to not take length off the sides or back, just blend them. I left with tears, and frustration. I am so terrible at confrontation I dont know how to approach these things on site, in fear of hurting someones feelings. She took a straight razor to my hair, and she this was to thin and texturize.... it left lots of straight boxy edges and harsh lines. Also I now have a TON of short hairs on the top that stick straight up because they were straight razor cut and dont lay nicely. I am so tired of the sadness and frustration of moving and having to find a new stylist and them missing the mark so hardly. This has happened to me countless times as I have moved a lot, I shared that with the stylist while she washed my hair. She also at one point blamed my color for showing her work.. I am giving a 3 because its not the worst cut of my life, but I am a week later still unhappy with this cut and wont return, Im going to make the 1.5 hour drive to see my previous stylist.
I LOVE going to Ulta anytime! They always have what I need in store and if not, its super easy to have it shipped to my home! The employees are friendly, efficient and take the time to make sure that each customer had a positive experience while shopping.
The team here is amazing! Love their vibes and energy. Very knowledgeable with great customer service! I will definitely be returning to this location!
I have been going here to the Everett Mall Salon for over a year to get my hair styled by Robin I am leaving for my vacation on Friday at 6am, my hair appointment which has been scheduled for months now, i receive a call today at 2:30 about my appointment tomorrow that my stylist is out and they do not have any appointments available EXECPT DOUBLE BOOKING ME with another stylist in the middle of my work day on Thursday. I am at a loss for words as Rebecca really did not care and it was obvious, that store has really gone down hill since Zac left and I am very disappointed in the lack of professionalism since I pay hundreds of dollars every 2 months to do my hair. Well now you lost a regular customer and others as I will not refer anyone to this store ever again.

Zach did a wonderful job helping me out today. Shopping for make up is very stressful and I usually run in and out grabbing the same products every time. I was so thankful that zach took the time to show me some new products since Ive decided to expand my make collection and my routine. I cant wait to try all the product they sent me home with and l will continue to shop in store as much as I can!

Made an online order but decided to walk around the store before pickup. The manager walked up to me (i knew it was the manager because she referred to it as “MY store” multiple times) i asked for a L.A. girl lipliner which she responded we don’t carry that in MY store as if that was a brand that was so beneath her... then i asked if she carried either Paula’s Choice or The Ordinary skincare products and her response was “wow. those are two very different price points” and led me to The Ordinary section and once again said “we don’t carry paula’s choice in MY store” and then left me there before i could even ask any further questions. Felt very demeaning, ended up leaving the products i had picked up and only taking home what i had ordered online
