Recently mailed a package OVERNIGHT GUARANTEED delivery for next day to a location 3 hours away. The next day, got a call from the main UPS hub somewhere in Kentucky that the package was sitting there with no label (the label THIS UPS store put on the package CAME OFF somehow during transition. They needed information in order to get the delivery on its way, which wouldnt now wouldnt be delivered until another day (even tho we paid well over $50 to have it sent overnight). We were assured by the main UPS corporate we would receive some kind of reimbursement for the mistake this UPS store made. Still no refund...asked the UPS store today about it and they said we dont do refunds. So in other words, only ship your package here if you dont care about the service you receive. Tried to blame it on COVID...nothing is guaranteed. Knowing that, FEDEX will be my carrier in the future. UPDATE to Owner: The package did have a phone number on it because when you fill out an overnight request form, you include a phone number. That is how they called me. They called me because the TRACKING NUMBER had come off the package (which was placed on the package by your store) and they needed a tracking number to re-ship the package.
Well, its been QUITE a day. The pandemic is only the basis of my crazy, stressful day and it built on from there. I just walked into our UPS store in Boonsboro with a HUGE box that needed to go back to Amazon, that I just so happened to run out of packing tape at home while trying to close it, and resorted to scotch tape an area close while tears fell from my eyes, as today was the last day I could mail it back.I walked into the UPS store completely frazzled, with a partially closed huge box, and the most WONDERFUL woman greeted me with a smile, and said I got this.... scanned, whipped out her tape gun, closed my huge box, handed me a slip and while it may seem like such a small thing, she saved me from having to BUY a thing of tape, stand there for 5 minutes trying to tape my box, before I had to be at my next appt. AND, I had another box to be mailed USPS and she smiled and took that box saving me from having to go into another post office. I just HAVE to say, THANK YOU for seeing the tears I was hiding, and taking this task off my plate this afternoon. I will be a customer for years to come.
This is the most friendly and most helpful UPS store Lynchburg. The employees are fast, efficient and very pleasant.

This store is independently owned and significantly marks up prices. They are not transparent with the fact that the online prices are much cheaper. I mailed a package to Big Sky, Mt for $76. On line the same package ships for $42 BRING YOUR PACKAGES TO THEM BOXED AND WITH SHIPPING LABLE, PAY ONLINE AND THEY CANNOT UPCHARGE.
I was traveling through the Lynchburg and Charlottesville areas last week on business and needed to print at one store and ship at the other for my clients in these areas. Such a joy to find consistent helpful services at both locations!! Thank you for being the AWESOME groups you are!!!!!
