I will start by saying I have been using FedEx printing services for at least 3 years and have always had a pleasant experience l. I’m always greeted when I come in the door and the service is always fast and my order always comes out perfectly. On this day I had the worst service ever and for this reason will no longer us FedEx. I walked in and yes I was on the phone with my earpiece in. There was a young lady helping a customer and a gentleman who I immediately assumed was the manager putting away a package. The young lady looked and acknowledged me with eye contact whereas the manager was moving around looking “busy”. I stood there for about 2-3 minutes and the manager never once looked up at me, acknowledged my presence or anything. I heard the door so assumed someone walked in. Still no acknowledgment. I was still on the phone with my earpiece and noticed that the manager was not trying to help me. He had even walked up to the counter to use the computer and never made eye contact or acknowledged me. So of course I mentioned it to the person on the phone. The young lady had a moment so she stepped away from her customer to help me. The manager immediately stepped from behind the counter and greeted the man behind me and started helping him. I was livid!! I was simply there picking up a print order!! I paid thanked her and asked if the gentleman was her manager and asked for his name. His name was Russell. Once I left the store I called corporate. I hate to be that person and make it about race but either that or he doesn’t care for women. It was one thing to not acknowledge me when I came in but he NEVER acknowledged me, made eye contact or anything.

Thank you to Russell and the other staff members who were such a great help!I was patiently waiting for a large package to arrive at this location and never received a confirmation of it being ready for pickup. The day after it was supposed to arrive I called the location to check if there was an update. We were told it wasnt there*.(*This was a communication issue where we didnt know the terminology used for packages delivered for pickup were called items on hold. We said we didnt have anything being held when we spoke to this staff member when we actually did! The more you know...)For a week, I checked the tracking number multiple times daily and it still reported the package as being at the Roanoke distribution center. I contacted the Customer Service line and the data on their side showed what I was seeing: no movement or updates for 7 days, and the package was still in Roanoke. The representative escalated the conversation and I was given a ticket number. Less than an hour later I was called back and told that my package was waiting at the Lynchburg location and had been there all week!As soon as I heard that, my boyfriend and I got in the truck and headed over. Upon arriving we were told by a clerk that it had just been sent back to the sender that morning. I was so frustrated! When another clerk and Russell got involved they saw how the system had failed to update and confirm delivery.They apologized for the inconvenience, we all acknowledged the failures of technology and human error, they said they would reach out to the technical team to highlight this particular issue (though its unfortunately not a new one), and finally Russell called the driver to see if it was possible to redirect the package back to Lynchburg. It was!The next day Russell left a message on my voicemail letting me know the package had been returned and I could pick it up. Im so grateful for the patience and generosity I was met with regarding this incident. Im also glad I didnt have to pay a second shipping fee.Thank you!

I relied on FedEx to handle sending a paper copy of my notarized passport to Mexico. They prepared the commercial invoice and charged me $105.00 for 2 day delivery. The envelope was not delivered for refusal by the receiver to pay customs duties. FedEx then forwarded my envelope to the abandoned property office and charged me an additional $28.00 for customs duties. They gave me no option to pay the customs duties ahead of delivery to the intended location, but they had no problem charging me customs duties to send it to abandoned property office. This was an expensive waste of time and effort. I strongly advise against using FedEx to ship papers internationally.

FANTASTIC staff! Although I havent frequented this location in several months, for awhile when I was going hear weekly to ship stuff off, the staff seemed to know and recognize me, and even help carry boxes from my car some of the time.

Clean facility, staff is sub par. Tried to purchase items in bulk as I have before and was told to theyve never offered this Dissapointing. Has gone down hill in how they care about their customers. Save yourself if you want anything in large amounts & just buy online.
