This store has a very mellow atmosphere. The Verizon associate working with me was named Luis. He was very knowledgeable and patient with me. Helped me transfer services from one terrible provider to Verizon. He also let me know of every deal Verizon had to offer. Left there with a iPhone 12 Pro Max and zero outta pocket. I recommend this establishment for services.
There was a long line when we arrived. They told us to sign in and they would call us back in an hour. We told them we just needed help with our bill, not any equipment. We went back just after 7 well over an hour after we signed in and they had still not called. They said they could not let us back into the building because they had closed and we had left the building(which they told us to do) (despite currently helping the two people who in front of us in line). Would not recommend this store.
Newly remodeled location with friendly staff and quick knowledgeable service. Met the new manager running the location and was very impressed with her professionalism.
Trying to understand why there’s a local phone number that doesn’t connect you to the store. I ordered two new lines/phones and was told I could pickup the same day. I’ve been waiting two days but I have no way to see what’s going on because I can’t get through to an actual person. Ridiculous.Edit: I finally got through to customer service who was able to contact the store and my order has been ready. Raised my review to 3 stars because Brad helped me out. The notification of order being ready needs to be fixed.
Came in to add a line and upgrade my own, got the pleasure of dealing with Phillip he was informative, professional, and for sure knows what he’s doing.

Had left a negative review, and then realized the problem was on my end :-). Transfer of phone line went really smoothly once we figured that out! I called to SPEAK with a REAL LIFE PERSON, but went through 6 pain staking minutes of automated menus for absolutely nothing. Why does Verizon make it IMPOSSIBLE to speak with someone? A simple yes or no question. Absolutely ridiculous! Im just trying to call the store! Its not even a 1 800 number. But, thats Verizon. Ive had Verizon for 10+ years. It gets worse every year
I took my phone in this store due to it not working properly. No one told me nor did I sign any forms letting me know I would not get my phone back that I am still paying for. I did receive another phone to replace it. I am upset due to being lied too. I was told the phone they sent was just a replacement until my phone was fixed. And they were sending me this replacement while they worked on my phone. This is not how it goes. You get a replace not your phone back. Very disappointed in this store due to their lack of communication with a customer.
Went into the store to see if my current phone could be repaired or, if not, to shop for a new one. Insolent lout didnt even bother to look at the phone other than to say Its 5 years old and pointed to the Batteries R Us store across the road. Verizon lost a chance for a sale and a customer.
Walking into the store I felt like I was an inconvenience in attempting to purchase a phone. So much so the greeter re directed me in ordering the phone on the app. I would like to have physically compared the phones so that I can make an educated decision.
Avoid this place! They are rude and lazy. Went in today and gave my name to put in cue. Why? Two staff stood in an office on their phones, laughing and ignoring! Customers pay your salary. Wake up and serve people or shut your doors!
Jeff was great! Just wish that if you took a phone off of your plan the price could come down. Its works out so that per line the price adjusts so youre still paying about the same.

I went to The Verizon store because I needed help setting up my phone and instead I just got insulted by the worker there for not knowing how to do it...he also processed to say I was being stupid for not buying a $100 phone case he was trying to get me to buy. Not going back there again.

As usual courteous and helpful, but unable to do as much in person as in the past. Had to refer me to a preprinted list of numbers to call depending on the subject. Will have to return home and make several different contacts that last year would have been handled expeditiously by a single Verizon employee.
Called to talk to salesperson. Impossible. Why post a phone number if no one is gonna answer it. 20 years of being a verizon customer, but that can change.

Sean was a huge help. I needed a new phone and he had the exact one I wanted in stock, set me up on the same pre-paid plan I was on, and was very professional the whole time. I was in and out in 15 min. Very pleased!
I ordered a phone online and tried to send it back because I cant use it the site wouldnt let me print the label went to the Verizon store they couldnt print it on Timberlake or take the phone back I had to go to wards rd where they could take the phone back was not allowed in the store because I did not wear a mask the guy there was able to print out the label but it burns me up how easy it is for you to order and they take your money but its hard as hell to get someone to help you order the right thing or to help you return an item... You call for support and get the run around its ridiculous

After speaking with four Verizon call center people and three stores who sell phones compatible with the Verizon system (which I have used for 13 years) I was transferred to the Lynchburg Verizon location. A very nice gentleman who gave his name as Douglas, spent over 30 minutes on the line working through my problems in attempting to get a new phone. He assured me that the solution would be workable, that he would need just one more short period of placing me on hold - then transferred me to a call center with no explanation, no call back, NOTHING! They had no notes not any idea what the problem was.I am beyond disappointed and frustrated. Not the place to take your business folks. Dont trust them to provide customer service.

This location can certainly get busy and wait times can get long, but once you get to seeing someone, the staff here are friendly, helpful and quick. Be careful though, as you can buy the exact same accessories Verizon sells on Amazon, sometimes at less than half the cost. Some of their cases that are $80 can be obtained on Amazon for less than $40, so definitely do your research before buying anything!

Was very up to date on the most recent technology. They were very patient and welcoming from the time I walked in the door til the time I left. They didnt mind working hard and were very fast. I originally came to get a quote on a plan but, the particular sales person I did business with was up to date on all pricing and plans, therefore bringing to my attention a great promo that would be ending soon on exactly what I wanted. The one thing I liked was the sales person I dealt with wasnt to pushy to sale me a plan like most. They didnt mind spending time helping me after explained I was just getting a price quote. I would almost recommend her for management but, that would mean she wouldnt have as much time to personally help customers. I honestly believe if it had been any other salesperson that day I wouldnt have purchased anything. Overly thrilled with EVERYTHING. I am big into leaving honest reviews, and I am proud to write this review. Thanks

Very quick service, which is great, but getting you in and out is clearly their only priority. Third rate on their quality service. Sales team eager to sell only and not troubleshoot issues or go the extra mile within customer care. Be on the lookout for ANY promo deals and read the fine print because Verizon proves the saying: if it looks too good to be true... it is. Nice display areas and clean.

When my local dealer closed down, this became my new home store. Its convenient and always pretty well staffed. Elroy and Jason, especially, have been on top of their game and kept me and my 4 phone lines happy and in working order with top notch equipment. Ive even referred my coworkers to this store and Verizon, and will probably be switching our company plan over too.
I had issues with an online order. I had been waiting for the order for a month. The order was scheduled to be delivered that day and Verizon recalled the shipment literally an hour before the package was delivered. I went to the Verizon store incensed! They were very polite and did the best they could to remedy the situation. The order was canceled as a return so I was refund my money for the order and left the store with another order. This package arrived two days later with no issues...and the same time my accessories arrived from Amazon. Perfect timing. I would recommend the store over online ordering and this store for its employees.
Fourth in the door and yet everyone behind us received service first. When we asked, we were told their were still four ahead of us. Since only six came in the door at the same time that made zero sense. Not the first time service at that location has been a challenge.** As a follow-up - we went back to resolve the issue several hours later. The manager ecalled we had been there earlier and he helped us immediately. So, while the initial experience was not completely positive, the second visit was a bit better.
Friendly and helpful staff. No long wait times for service. Questions answered quickly. Good job - they are always suggestive selling. Just say no. Unless you want it.

Other stores in our area are NOT VERIZON STORES! They only sell Verizon products. They are owned by a separate company. If you have a problem with your product or services from the franchise store, you have to go back to them.
Some of the staff are 5 stars. Their business sales folks are very knowledgeable. The get you into the phones and plans that make sense and not what gets them the biggest sale. They also know a lot about the phones they sell which is helpful when you have questions.

Outstanding service! The store was very busy, but I was immediately greeted and was asked what I could be helped with. I responded and the gentleman entered my information electronically and was informed it would only be a few minutes. Another store employee sought me out in less than three minutes to begin helping me. I have purchased phones from other locations in the past, but this store and purchase experience was by far the best I have ever experienced. Very professional and organized operations with well-trained staff to help you with your need. Im very pleased, even down to the follow up email this morning to see how everything was going and if I had any problems or questions. First class!

Despite the fact that its a sweltering 96° outside the first employee to approach me as I came through the door told me I was not allowed to enter with my six week old puppy in my arms. When I asked if he would rather me put the dog inside my boiling hot car (while I stand in the air conditioning and wait around for who knows how long in a store already packed with people) on a day where even those without fur coats are in danger of overheating, his only response was cant have dogs in here. Not even a sorry or hint of empathy in his face.so I did a quick 180 and headed back through the door straight to my car where I blasted the air-conditioning all the way to the sprint store where I immediately changed my carrier. The fee to change my service over and keep my number and all the time it took was well worth my dog not dying of heat stroke in my car.
Be sure to understand everything, exactly, even if you have to ask 10 times or more to get them to explain what the plan includes and doesnt include. Make sure you see the breakdown of your bill so you know what you are signing up for
Went in to switch from Google project Fi back to Verizon. My phone was a unique case because it was purchased direct from Google. The rep was able to figure out a bit of an unorthodox solution but it worked.
We had great service today. The gentleman.waa so helpful and not pushy. He made sure I understood everything I bought.
One star is too good. Came in to get a phone replaced yet again because of a malfunctioning speaker on my replacement phone that I got to replace the phone which was having the same exact problem. Was told it was going to cost 156 dollars for a refurbished phone that probably would have the same problem. And I have insurance on the phone and all I get is a refurbished phone you wouldn’t do that to a car so why would you do it to a phone. This was the final straw switching companies when I can 6 year customer lost because of bad customer service.
Rude customer service. Refused to help my family with issues we were having with new cellphones, just told us to call the support line instead of even trying to help.

I arrived today intending to switch from Sprint. I was greeted by a staff member who took my details and told me there was a 30 minute wait. Not fun, but at least I knew ahead of time. 35 minutes later, I watched 2 customers who arrived after me receive service before me. 2 minutes later, a staff member approached me, let me know I was next in line and told me one person had gone ahead of me because they needed tech help and I needed sales help. When I explained that I had watched another customer walk in, show some sort of personal link to a sales rep and waltz on up get helped, I was simply told, that didnt happen. When I commented further, I was told, it shouldnt happened and that my wait wouldnt be much longer. I walked out. Sprints coverage may be bad here, but their customer service is a lot better. If Verizon treats potential customers this way, I dont want to be one.

I went into the store and upgraded to a smart phone only to have the new service plan and charges not explained to me and the customer service representative lied about the amount of the new charges. Then when I spoke to management about the issue to get it resolved, they were only able to refund a small portion off the initial activation fees. Then when I received my next months bill the refund that I was promised by management, it never occurred. If you live in the Lynchburg area I recommend visiting a different store in the community.

Staff treats you like you like you dont know anything about phones. Cant put on a screen protector properly. Average wait time is 40 minutes every time I go in there.
Unfortunately, I wish I would have taken more time and gone to Best Buy. Why? Because, they offer a plan if something happens to your phone and verizon does not for pre-paid packages. Live and learn.

If youre coming here to try and get help with a problem or a repair dont bother! The staff I have encountered are very rude and pushy, and they always seem annoyed that youre there. They also dont seem to have a large knowledge base and will most likely just tell you to update your phone. But if youre wanting to buy something here the customer service is great and the staff will happily try to get you to buy a ton of stuff!
The salespeople pushed devises on us that did not meet our needs. They did not explain that if we switched plans that our data could be throttled at any time. They also acted like there were no additional monthly fees when there were.They also added insurance to devices when we told them we did not want it.My advice:Read everything before you leave.Dont change plans unless you totally understand when data is throttled.Know that these are salespeople who want you to leave with as many new devices as they can. They are not customer service agents.
When I went to this store and switched my line to Verizon it was very straight forward and the awesome rep named Whitney was very nice and was willing to work with me.
I almost NEVER review service but Verizon corporate doesnt have a way to let customers tell them how badly their service is represented in store. I had a pretty dreadful and dismissive man who clearly was not willing to help me with a problematic phone when he realized I was not going to upgrade. I am a VERY loyal Verizon customer; my sales agent was sarcastic, dismissive and unhelpful. Lynchburg deserves better.
Friendly staff. However the wait times every time Ive been is extremely long and they always try to sell you a ton of extra stuff. Most of the time they listen when you say no thank you though which is good.
They did well at trying to be fast despite a lot of customers. A hard thing to do when setting up cell phones. Nowadays switching phones just takes a while.

Went out to the car to get assistance by phone, as I have no internet, dead zone, at my home. Customer service over phone was awesome! She needed to find out why we couldnt hook up to stores wifi, second gentleman in store was awesome! Took over, and indeed was able to complete task. Depends on who you wind up with.

My charger stopped working and so I quickly drove to verizon just before they closed at 9pm. I was expecting them to be closing or not happy to see another customer. I walked in and they helped me right away and I was out in 10 minutes. What could have been a crisis was saved in a couple minutes.
This store is HORRIBLE! Ive been with Verizon since 2011, and they make pretty good money off of the 11 lines I have on my account. I was doubled charged for a transaction, went back into the store, they act like they didnt know their heads from a hole in the ground. This was in December, Im still trying to get my money correct on the billing. They are dishonest and careless. I would put some names out here, but I will be nice, TODAY! Most of the reps are rude and snobbish unless theyre the ones making the money off of you. Im DONE with this store. I will do everything online from now and next Ill be going to another provider.
