I cannot say enough nice things about Sean and his team. I broke down halfway to new mexico. Sean was kind enough to fit me in the same day and get me back on the road in 24 hours. They saved my trip, I really appreciate it.

My car had bottomed out on a speed bump or otherwise. I went to Volvo first to get an invoice of the repairs needed (as the ac was broken, and the charge pipe was damaged causing a rough idle). I handed the invoice to the guys at prock and they found issues that the Volvo tech hadnt even found/mentioned. They care about making sure to give a thorough and complete inspection, and they will let you know what needs to be fixed. They only used oem parts because they care about quality. This is now my #1 car repair place, I will take my Volvo here every time now. It can be a bit pricy (which is expected for European cars) but it is well worth it (and it beats dealer rates). COMMUNICATION! Im a college student and these guys were constantly relaying information to me and my mother in Austin, I couldnt recommend a more honest and trustworthy shop. This is a great repair shop ran by honest people that will tell you like it is and only do the best options for the customer.

Prock was incredibly polite from the beginning. My car was having troubles starting so they removed and replaced the ignition switch. This, unfortunately, was not the sole reason of the problems as the car still wouldnt start every time. Because there was more to be done, they went in depth on my vehicle, digging around and maneuvering just to locate the source of the issue. They didnt even charge me for labor after the first visit. Sean (I believe was his name) walked me through step by step the process they underwent and kept me fully informed the whole time. Now my car is working exactly as it should and its all thanks to Prock.

I tend to be a bit apprehensive when it comes to mechanics due to past experiences, but I have had great experiences with Prock Automative. Shaun was incredibly helpful during my time in Lubbock. He quoted me fair prices and was extremely patient with me. Even after I moved to FL, he did his best to assist me by answering my numerous calls and getting me the information I needed. I am grateful for this shop and I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

I would not go to them again. I was charged 800 total... only 250$ for parts. 550$ for labor! When I got my car out of the shop they hadnt fixed it properly so I had to bring it back in, and miss more work. Finally they got it fixed, yet my car still came out with the check engine light on, even after I asked them to make sure there were no more problems with it before returning it to me.

ALWAYS honest and willing to go the extra 100 miles for their customers. ALWAYS! We drive from Post to use Prock. Its difficult to find an Automotive garage that doesnt RIP you off. And if they dont know the answer, they will find it for you. If you live in the Lubbock area, Prock is really the only garage you should go to!

After my local Jeep dealer messed up an oil change (let me drive away 1.5 quarts low), I took my car to Prock to pay them to tell me whether the $5,000 in work quoted by the dealer was indeed necessary. Nope--got new brakes with one rotor and a front end alignment (why did the dealer change my tires and not warn me?) all for $600. Im so happy--just sad that I dont live in Lubbock. These guys are honest and good at what they do.

Great work on total engine replacement, took longer than expected but that was due to circumstances that could not be helped. I highly recommend this shop and will be giving them more business in the future.

Great guys got me right in.

My wife and I had a to make an 8-hour round trip to Lubbock and back yesterday. We noticed a serious problem with my truck, an older F150, as we arrived into town. I called and explained our circumstances and that we had a four-hour drive back home. They prioritized us and got us back on the road within 3 hours after dropping the truck off. Phenomenal service and excellent work. My truck runs better than it has in years.

VERY DISPLEASED!!!The work was fine, but they did not give me any heads up on how steep the prices were going to be.Went in expecting to pay one price and they charged me over 6X that initial quoted price. I added on a fuel filter change to my oil change and they went and replaced more than necessary without even the slightest notification. Will definitely not be going back to this shop, not for an oil change, not mechanic work, nothing.

These guys were really awesome. My car wasnt starting, and they sent a tow truck out really quickly. They were very helpful and didnt try to take advantage of the obvious fact that I had never dealt with a mechanic before. They did a very good job.

We take all our vehicles to Prock Automotive! The guys there are great and are super fast. I can call Ty and get my car in and out in usually the same day. I do not go anywhere else. They always get me great prices and never try to over charge just because I am a woman! I would suggest and do all the time for people to use Prock for anything they need done to their car!

Came for a quick inspection. Guy jumped in my car without hardly saying two words, left me in the parking lot confused. When I found my car they said I had to go wait in the front that I couldn’t be by my car and he got his dirty footprints and greasy clothes all in my interior. Car wash is going to cost me more than this inspection.

Prock auto charged me 1500 for an issue. When I picked up my car, it had the exact same issue. They did not bother to take the car for a test drive to see if the issue was solved after fixing it - poor business practice! I talked to a few 3rd party mechanics and they all said that the replacements done on the receipt were not relevant to the issues my car had.Took the car back under warranty on the receipt. They now say its a different issue and wanna charge me 2200 more for something else that might possibly solve the original issue. I talked to a few other mechanics about this and they agreed that the original 1500 charge had nothing to do with the issues my car had. No remedy was offered to me about the situation.I will be filing with Better Business Bureau and Attorney General.

My mother had her car towed in to get her brakes repaired. Although there was a misunderstanding about the repair time line, the shop called back and spoke with my mother, apologizing for the communication error. Car was repaired and my mother is extremely pleased with the service. She is elderly and is wary of most service industries as she feels that she is sometimes taken advantage of. Thank you for speaking with my mom and repairing her car. She doesnt have a computer to write a review so thought I would for her.

I have known Joel Prock for years, and in my profession I know the good and bad shops in town. There is not a more sincere honest mechanic around, or more talented.
