Fast, qualify and reasonably priced, the staff was very friendly and professional. I made my tire order and appointment online. Staff called and reviewed my order and confirmed appointment. When I arrived I was greeted and there was no wait. I was in and out fast. Give these guys a raise, best tire purchase experience Ive ever had.

Very good experience. Love the app updates notifications. My car got ready sooner. Just giving 3 stars because apparently the air sensor in the tire got damage and I feel they should have call to check if I wanted it replaced. Now I have to go back again Monday. But no biggie. Excellent customer service.

I was very pleased with their tire repair service at this shop. We had driven to Lubbock on a Friday night, and the next morning (Saturday) saw that the low tire pressure warning had came on. Since we had purchased our tires at Discount Tires (in DFW), I found the nearest one and drove to the shop before my tire was completely flat. I was able to get right in, even without an appointment. They found a nail and repaired the tire in exactly 90 minutes ... no charge!I liked two things about this shop. First, i was able to use a QR code upon my arrival, in order to reserve a spot on the waiting list. Once i entered my details, it confirmed that i was #1 in line. Second, the QR code sent a link that provided a status of my car, and also sent a text when the work was completed.All in all in a great experience! Having unexpected repairs done on a Saturday is never fun, but these guys got me in and out in good order. And as a previous customer, it was great not having to pay anything, even though i was from out of town. They were prompt and courteous -- i definitely recommend!

This is the third time I have been to Discount Tire and they told me my tire could not be patched. They just want to sell you a new $200.00 tire. I think this is deceptive trade practices and something needs to be done about this. I have traded with them since they opened their first store on Avenue Q. They use to be the best. The last 3 out of 4 sets of tires I have purchased were not from Discount. I am truly done with them this time.

Rip off artists. Will NOT fix the tires they sold you because they want you to purchase new tires. Will never go there again and will tell everyone I know to purchase their tires elsewhere.

Super pleased.2nd visit, nail in sidewall, replaced no problem at no cost... road hazard warranty. First visit with Douglas3rd visit, roofing nail or fencing screw in tread. Easy patch, again at no cost. Douglas came right out greeted me sorta already knew why I was coming in right when he walked up.Bound to get a nail or screw when showing houses in new neighborhoods in town. pulled my appointment right up set and gone within 45 minutes, checked all my tires for issues, fixed flat and rebalanced the tire.Always busy! I suggest getting an appointment. awesome techs, great staff and service advisors. Will have you out within quoted time, usually faster.

Good prices. Good tires. Most employees work hard to help you. A few are sub par. I had a 3:30 appointment, got there on time, waited 20 minutes till it was my turn and was told I was late and my apartment was cancelled but he would try to fit me in. Asking to speak to a manager stoped that. Every other the best service ever.

Advice: get an appointment a couple days in advance, if possible. you can go through their website and check whats available. They do take walk ins, but be prepared to wait at least an hour or two to be seen.Went there a couple months ago about my tire that kept deflating. They told me it was nothing, but did try to convince me to buy a new sensor. Fast forward to this last Thursday, I went in with the same tire and issue. They actually looked at it, and found out there was a hole. Quick and easy fix, and it only cost me $25 for a new tire (2014 Toyota Corolla)!!

Wonderful employees, GREAT service and got me in and out faster then expected! Showed up about an hour and half before they closed and they made sure I was getting what I needed that day.

I’ve always shopped at Discount Tire, and today I was reminded exactly of why. I woke up to a flat tire and like everyone else in Texas, the ice, snow and subzero temperatures did not help. I drove right across the road to discount tire to have them put the spare on. The spare was good, but old enough they could not put it on my truck. They ended up working me one hell of a deal on a used tire (with about 80% tread left) so I could make it to work. I can not be grateful enough for the salesman working with me and helping me!

Great place to get tires flats fixed and pressure check. They are good and fast but Busy! I found ordering tires online from Amazo..n and doing install through them is very inexpensive but only for those who understand tires. Highly recommend.

Got a new set of tires for our car. Ordered them online and they were there the next day. The check in process was easy and they were friendly. They got me all set up in about 40 minutes. Would come here again for sure.

I had an appointment at 5pm. I got there about 5pm. I checked in and was to old to park in the parking lot so I did. I waited about 10 minutes before they told me they were ready. Not too bad. They had my truck ready in about 20 to 30 minutes if that long. The waiting room was nice and cool. We have bought tires from them before. Close to our house. My tires are B F Goodrich they are nice tires. My truck now rides smoother than ever. Thank you Discount Tire! Keep on doing what you do best!!

They were great, they were fast at getting things done. Everytime I try to go the one on Avenue Q. All the workers there seem to ignore you. And theyre wait time is way to long. Lets just put it this way. You better take a sack lunch if your planning to get your tires here. Or just some air. When it comes to air. They see the cars but they void to air your car up. And they rather go jump into another vehicle. Then mess with you.

5/6/2I @ 1pm Discount tire 82/University, I visited there for air /tire check there were 2 cars ahead of me, 2 lines opened! When my turn came, I was prepared to drive up the 2nd lane, the service rep who worked the second lane left.. I waited several minutes afterwards, never got serviced so I finally drove off, all I needed was air in front tire!! I also hoped to speak too Tire Tech about new set of tires but after the piss poor service, I wont ever spend my hard earned money there!!

They have a gentleman by the name of Kollin at the 82nd street and university location who is very professional and also has the customers best interest in mind. Needed a nail removed & the tire patched. They fixed the tire, checked the pressure on all the tires, including the spare tire. All done in about 30 min. for a grand total of $0. Discount tires rock!

I’ve been buying tires from this company for years. Time and time again I have to bring my trucks and jeeps back to get rebalanced because they refuse to do it right the first time. Then when you come back to tell them they’re still shaking they laugh it off like a joke. They’re attitudes are usually pretty poor also. Save you’re time and money and go to a place that has some integrity because this place has very little to none.

Very honest analysis and advice. There is an absence of exaggeration in order to tell tires- the case at other businesses. Speak with ALONSO. oh, and the techs are very Easy on the Eyes.

This place is like the Chick-fil-A of tire shops. So few retail establishments can stay so busy, all day everyday, and consistently maintain such a high standard of customer service. These guys work like dogs from open to close, and no matter how absurd the wait, or how long the line...They will get you fixed up with competitive pricing and excellent customer service, time after time. When I buy a new car, I take it to Discount Tire, and they will add their tire coverage to the tires that came on your car. I learned this lesson after I got a nail in the sidewall of a $300 tire with less than a thousand miles on it...and had to just buy a new one out of pocket. Discount Tire is like sliced bread...Maybe better.

Glad they offer a free tire check. So worth the trip

Very shady business practices. I went in for a flat repair. He said that my tires were dangerous at 7/32 lol. Im a truck driver and DOT says my drive tires are good down to 2/32nds. How is it that my 18 wheeler with 80,000 pounds is safe to drive but my F150 that weighs around 6,000 pounds isnt safe to drive? Long story short he refused to repair my flat at 7/32nds and insisted that I purchase tires from them. What a crooked, dirty handed, no ethics having business. I sincerely hope that this is one of the businesses that fail during the Coronavirus. Im certain that the positive reviews are from employees and family of employees and not actual customers.

Terrible!...DO NOT GO ON A SATURDAY!!! Called at 9:00 am was told to come right in!...arrived at 9:05 am. Stood there for 15 mins with other annoyed customers. Discount guys in the closed office laughing, guys up front with backs to the customers, 3 Discount employees standing at one computer. Absolutely no acknowledgement! So I proceed to ask all the employees up front if they have anyone else to help. Only one gave me the shoulder shrug as an answer! Been using this Discount 10 years plus!.....Came to Forrest Tire instead!Just takes one time with this Customer. Today was the day!

The wait is sooooooo long!!!!Depending on your rep I feel like I’m manipulated into buying things I don’t need.And the place is always freezing cold. The bathrooms are like walk-in coolers. The coffee isn’t fresh and I feel like I’m talked to like a child because I am a women, my husband gets respect way better here than I do.

5 trips for a flat tire.1st trip Slide Rd, Saturday, no walk in svc, appointment not avail till Tuesday, referred to Ave Q.2nd trip Ave Q, 3 hour wait3rd trip 82nd Street 15 minutes at the tent, said they would call me to set an appointment, never received call.4th trip 82nd, 15 minute wait at tent to be told 3 hour wait, setup for next day appointment.5th trip 82nd street, 11:15 appointment, arrived at 11:09, got me in the bay at 11:45, done at 11:08. 2 nails found, friendly professional staff. 1 hour.It just takes to long to get in now. I really like the staff. They do good work just takes too long to get in now

It is Ridiculous and a Waste of my Time to set a Appointment and upon my arrival be told i must wait another Hour to be Serviced for a flat tire.

The guys at this location take excellent care of me. Brandon, Alonzo and all the people working here are professional and knowledgeable about tires and wheels. I buy tires here for 6 different vehicles from minivan to racing tires and they are simply the best at the best price. I would not go anywhere else. I am a tire snob and they always have the answers. I highly recommend them.

Their customer service department on the phone has always been friendly, and more importantly helpful and useful. I know they will do price matching. Had an appointment got there 25 minutes early was told to park and put blinkers on...was not seen for over an hour. All other services were great

Called in to get their price match guarantee. I spoke with a guy named Joel first and then was transferred to a manager named Robert. Discount had the wheels at $176 each, and I found them for $146.32 and no tax. Robert said that they would split it with me and sell me the wheels for $160 each. Not quite a price match guarantee right? Hold on, it gets better. He quoted me $692 out the door. If I ordered them from Amazon and had them installed at FOREST TIRE (who Im now going through, and you should too) I would pay $644 out the door. I called Robert back and he wouldnt price match like their website says they will. Even the other two guys I talked to said their price match is a guarantee (even their website says their guarantee). Obviously not. So for a matter of $48, discount wouldnt honor their not so price match guarantee... Ive purchased all of my tires from discount tire, for the past 13 years. And now for $48 and not honoring what your companys policy is, you lost a life long customer for the rest of my life.

One of the worst places ever. Not just this location though. Sales people completely ignore you until they are ready to acknowledge you. They always find a reason that you need to buy a new tire. If you think you are going to save money here, think again. Whatever money you saved today, you will end up spending in the future. Better to buy local.
