Simply Mac replaced a failed hard drive on my iMac and in several months their new one failed too. Tried to call to have them honor the defective part and was told they only warranty for 14 days. Buyers beware!
Sheik was so fantastic! He helped me transform my email when I had no clue how to get them transferred. I was really nervous about getting it accomplished and he was a true blessing. Thank you so much!
Rusty and the team are really awesome people. I could not endorse this store enough.
They have everything about Macbooks and apple products, but only the modern ones. My friend came there with an old macbook and she couldnt get any help. It is not the store fault, because it is an Apple policy to abandon the old school equipment. Still, it is not less frustrating.
Posted by Jeff Lenna. I had a 3:40 appointment on Thursday to see if they could repair my liquid damaged phone. I was excited and optimistic that they would be able to help, as liquid damage repair was an option to select when setting up my appointment online. When I arrived at the store I waited a few minutes as two associates were helping one customer. A young man asked me if he could help me (no name tag and didnt greet me with his name) and I stated I was here for my 3:40 appointment to have my liquid damaged phone looked at. He stated if I dont have AppleCare he could not do anything for me. He then plugged in my phone, nothing happened, handed it back and said there is nothing he could do, this phone is too old. He didnt offer any suggestions or any other options, so I left. The beautiful thing about the internet is there is a lot of information (good & bad) with ways to dry out your phone, but crazy me, I thought the experts would know best.NOPE! So after leaving there I tried one of the methods suggested on the internet, which was using a vacuum to pull out water from the phone and setting it in the sun (not direct) to dry out. Needless to say my phone is working again and NO THANKS to Simply Mac. I had already purchased a new iPhone and just needed to revive my old so that I could retrieve information from it, as I didnt have my contacts backed up. I guess that is why their name is Simply Mac as they just want to offer simple fixes?!
Overall great experience when trading in my old mac for a new model. Bea was especially nice and helpful as was the technician who installed my Microsoft Word. At times employees seemed overly busy/preoccupied but overall I felt that I was heard and they were responsive.
I had to use my Apple care warranty for issues with my iPhone. I was Extremely happy with the customer service I received from Logan and Babby. Had to drive an hour and a half to Louisville Ky to drop it off and pick it up. They we’re both very knowledgeable and courteous. They made it well worth the trip. Highly recommended Simply Mac on Lexington Road
Thank goodness Simply Mac is back! I’ve always had good experiences with the knowledgeable and very helpful staff. Recently I went in with two devices — both with significant problems, and left with one new one that I can totally rely on. Yes, it cost some money, but the possible fixes on the former devices were going to be costly, and not necessarily 100%!healthy. The staff was not at all pushy, gave me all the info I needed and then let me make my own decisions without sales pressure. All is good.
Very friendly employees, they were helpful and fixed my MacBook quickly. Great experience.
They STOLE my business computer! WORST SERVICE OF ANY STORE. EVER. Did they have my repaired MacBook for a few months, yes. Did they send me a letter saying they would recycle it, yes. But I live in a different county and only come to Louisville for rare work related needs due to the pandemic. I drove the hour commute last week to pickup my MacBook and the door was LOCKED! I could see people in the store and I could not pickup MY computer. What a waste of my time. I took one of the hour long support reservations today to pickup MY computer to find that they gave it away! Some employee probably took it home and has a free $3000 laptop with MY name on it. Who cares how long it sits on the shelf! Send me the bill, I will pay for the repair that I asked for and will pick it up WHEN I CAN! I have never seen a worse business model. I encourage anyone reading this to use a different vendor. The staff are rarely available, NEVER answer the phone and even will not answer the door during OPEN hours. Horrible business.
Wonderful service! A major repair done quickly and done well. Very much appreciated! I wasnt without my MAC nearly as long as I had expected. Good folks!
My daughters computer was glitchy. The techs at Simply Mac tried to recreate the issue and then quickly sent it off to Apple for service. It was serviced faster than we could have imagined, which is appreciated since the computer was needed for NTI. Thank you, Louisville Simply Mac.
Where should I start, the first mistake I made was dropping my mac book off that just had port shorting issues and a few sticky keys. They quoted 4-7 days so I thought that it would be done by the following Thursday. They call me back today (Tuesday) and inform me that it was business days even though that was never stated but then again thats now the least of my worries. It was also pushed back to an unknown completion date as to when I was going to be able to recover my mac. So I take the option of going to pick it up. Upon pickup i now have a back casing is now bent and exposes the underside of my mac containing all of the hardware to dust and debris as well as a mac that wont even turn on. It isnt even showing a need charge symbol all I get is a black screen. No fans turn on nothing is responsive. They hadnt even shipped it out to be looked at by apple or attempted a repair and still somehow managed to break my device. So now I have to ship it out to Apple and get them to directly look into the repair. Thanks Simply Mac for absolutely nothing.
This shop is probably fine for most people. However, I took my iMac 27in in because it wouldn’t turn on and they charged me $80 to do diagnostics on the logic board. They said it was out and would have to be replaced if I wanted it fixed. Around $600 for a new logic board and around $200 for the repair. I decided to open it up myself and look online for information. With a multimeter I discovered a small fuse out on the board that only cost a couple bucks to buy and replaced it with some soldering tools. It worked perfectly after that. This shop charged me $80 bucks to give me a bad diagnostic and would have charged me almost a thousand dollars to do what I did on my own for a fraction of the price.Update: I emailed the customer service that “Simply Mac” gave me in their response to this review, but they have not responded in over 4 months.
I highly recommend Simply Mac on Shelbyville Road in Louisville KY. I run a small business and certainly have no budget for an IT department...my interaction (this week especially) has been much like an IT Department. Ive asked them questions that they have answered - never making me feel less than computer literate! The pricing is more than reasonable and service has been impeccable.I had two Mac Minis in my office along with a Mac Book Air - none of them worked right. It was decided that one of the minis was not fixable because the parts were obsolete. They fixed the other mini and put the information that was on the first one on it so Id have accessibility to that one (per my request). They showed me how to Time Machine backups.I ended up buying an updated MacBook Pro. I was given expert advice that saved me a $1k at least. I cannot be more pleased with my interactions with all the folks at Simply Mac. They are professionals with obvious vast knowledge about everything Mac. The best part - I do not need to visit the Apple Store at Oxmoor Mall - which at best can be a half-day affair. I really enjoyed my time with the staff there and will continue to trust them with my business and personal IT needs. Love Simply Mac!
Excellent location, Quality service I use to get in the 90s you get here. This location takes care of your Mac service needs with professional and personal service.I was getting Question ? at startup. Bobby knew just what it was. Part was ordered and it was repaired 👍🤗😃Reasonably priced.Thank you so much
Loved the place and the personnel it’s really nice and professional a lot of apple stuff here and for all apple devices including macs what can I say amazing attention from these folks definitely the place to go if you need assistance with your apple devices
Super cool place. I rather go here than the apple store.
Helpful and knowledgeable. Very quick to help diagnosis Mac.
My phone stayed at their store from Friday to Tuesday before picked up from fedex. I am currently on day 10 without a phone. They told me 5-7. It is still in California. I leave for vacation in 3 days and likely will not have my phone.
Very good prices for the services they offer. Highly recommend. I crushed my new iPhone 11 in the tail gate of our truck.. it looked like it was garbage.. works like new now.. thank you Simply Mac
Made my first visit to Simply Mac and it won’t be the last! Staff were superb- very knowledgeable, not rushed, spent time making sure I got the help needed. I wish I had known about them before I took my MacBook to the Apple store- which was them shipped out and I’m now looking at two weeks without my laptop. But I landed an awesome deal on a refurbished iMac thanks to these guys I highly recommend the Simply Mac folks in Louisville, Ky. Excellent customer service! Logan was a tremendous help.
The person who serviced mine and my girlfriend Mac book was very helpful and kind. He gave very good advice on how to take care of our Apple products. We had a very good experience.
Helpful employees. Good respect towards customers.
Bought a refurbished MacBook Pro to save a couple hundred bucks from here (first mistake) along with the $350 warranty. After a month or so I started having issues with the battery. It would be plugged in with the lightning bolt indicating it was charging but the battery was draining. I would unplug it and it would still say it was charging. Called Apple support and they recommended a SMC reset. I did this and it seemed to resolve the problem until a few months lapsed and the problem persisted. This time I decided to take advantage of the warranty I paid for through Simply Mac. Took my computer in and the guy working did the same SMC reset Apple suggested. Obviously this worked, but the problem is already back and it seems doing this SMC reset will be an ongoing thing through the life of this computer. He pretty much told me it was something I would have to deal with -__- I was expecting them to actually FIX the issue since I paid a ton of money for the warranty. From now on I will just buy a new Mac instead of trying to save a few bucks and avoid this place.
Simply Mac just handled a repair job for me with remarkable speed, much quicker than Id even hoped. Their price was more than reasonable, and everyone I dealt with was pleasant, knowledgable, informative, and helpful. I could not be more positive about the entire experience.
The building in which Simply Mac used to be house burned down some months ago, but they’re back up and beautiful on Lexington Road, across from Lotsa Pasta. I stopped there this week to pick up a few accessories and wasdelighted to know the alternative to The Apple Store in the mall is extant and thriving! The people who work there are as nerdy and wonderful as ever, working hard to make sure everyone who comes in understands everything they need to know to fully incorporate their new purchase(s) into their lives as much they wish.
When, and I’m sure there’s a when in my future, I need service/ help w my Mac, I will drive to California if needed before I come back to this place. Apple needs to do much better to help this store. Took me 4 weeks to get the appt. Took my Mac w problems on my tracker, and was told it was really ok. Took it home and of course it wasn’t. Took it back and was told it would be ready around a certain date. Went there the day after the “ready date” and told it was almost ready and would be called. They called several hours later and when I arrived, I could not go in, since there were 5 people already in store. I called from outside and asked if I could give a credit card number and they’d bring my laptop out- no can’t do. After 20 minutes of waiting, and seeing two couples inside, browsing, I went home. Went back the next day and finally rescued my laptop. I understand that they’re swamped being the only Mac service in the area. However, they cannot take appts AND walk ins at the same time. If a walk in is allowed in, they should be told that they can be helped. But, if an appt comes they will be asked to go outside and wait. The only reason they got the second star is because I’m sure they’re trying their best. Just currently not working well for us customers
ALERT! The store had people test positive for COVID and is not keeping the store closed. This is a very small store where everyone is in close proximity to each other and YOUR devices. Enter at your own risk!!!!
Very attentive and friendly staff, great service.
The only authorized Apple/Mac repair center that I know of. If you own Apple and/or Mac products you can have repairs and upgrades done at Simply Mac for a fraction of the price you would pay at the Apple store without voiding your warranty. And if you own any older Apple/Mac devices that the Apple store no longer supports or repairs, Simply Mac is the place to go.
Once you go Mac, you never go back 😉 This store has served me well over the years. I’ve had batteries changed, repairs made, and traded in older laptops. They are always nice, efficient, and highly qualified. I hope to have them around for a long time.
Worst place ever ! It’s been two weeks since I turned in my phone for repairs and when I call they give me no updates, they are very rude, even hung up on me when I asked how much longer it would take, all he said was he couldn’t help me and disconnected the call. Starting to think their racist, as much as I love apple doing business here gave me a bad taste !!
We give Simply Mac and especially Bobby five stars. Bobby is very knowledgeable and gave us great information to make an informed decision on the best computer buy for our needs. Before going the route of a new computer, we talked extensively about our old computer and the best avenue to take in regards to the best computer for our needs and costs.Simply Mac also offers a recycling service for old broken, non repairable technology.Bobby also solved our iPhone issue. My husband and I came in with a laundry list of computer issues and Bobby worked through them one at a time . He was very patient. The Simply Mac store is our go to store for our technology needs. They offer great customer service, great knowledge base.
All in shop were courteous and helpful. Manager was very knowledgeable.IPhone was repaired successfuly
My Macbook Pro had been dying a slow death for over a year. They diagnosed and repaired it within 48 hours and I didnt lose anything! At a very reasonable price too. Very knowledgeable, friendly staff!
Literally the easiest experience of my life. I was so so worried about the swollen battery in my laptop but it was fixed within a day and no damage done. Staff was super nice and I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family in need !
After having a not so good experience at another Apple store, I found them on the web and decided to try them out. Best choice !!! They were welcoming and made you feel comfortable to leave your device int their hands. Resolved my phone issues on the same day and a short period of time. I will definitely go back for any purchases or repairs. Highly recommended.
The Simply Mac team was professional and helpful. They were very knowledgeable and attentive to all of my questions concerning my iPhone. Whats more, the team had just heard upsetting news, yet all the team members handled it with grace and continued to offer me exceptional service.
I usually go to the apple store in the mall for all my apple products but they did not seem to have the product I needed so I went to Simply Mac.. A young man named Evan helped me a whole lot by finding helping me find the right device. It was nice to have a professional and helpful employee when shopping for expensive items.
If we could give negative stars, we would. This store is a good reason to buy anything other than Apple. Headed back to college, THREE TIMES we were given a date-certain as to when the Mac would be fixed, and THREE TIMESwe were told that there was no work authorization on file. Henceforth we urge the management to require two things of their workers: theability to read and write (such as in message-taking), and mandatorydrug testing. In the meantime, theyll never see us again.
Purchased a new laptop for family member. Staff was knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. Recommend
Had an amazing experience with Simply Mac. I came from out of town and the display on my MacBook was beginning to go out. I knew it was going to have to be replaced but I was concerned that in the 4 until I leave it wasn’t going to be done in time. Bobby said in confidence that it could be done. I kid you not my MacBook was ready to go the next day! Can’t thank them enough for applying my Apple care and everything that went into fixing my display. If you need anything take your products to Simply Mac
I have transacted business with this store before when it was Mac Authority and had a great experience. However, this time, not so much. I was referred to them by the Apple Store. I was advised to call first to make certain they could make the repairs, which I did and I was quoted $69.99 over the phone for a drive cable installation and was told they would also run diagnostics on my machine, but that I would have to order and supply the drive cable. When I received the cable, I took my Mac Book Pro in to drop it off and was greeted by a young man who told me they couldnt work on my computer because it was too old. I told him I called from Apple to which he responded Apple sends everyone here, but we dont work on those older Macs. I said no, you dont understand, I spoke to someone here. At that point he said let me speak with someone, and then he came back and said oh, yeah we can do this. When he checked in my computer he asked for my password and when I gave it to him, he typed it in in all lower case...I noticed it and manually wrote on his instructions that the first letter was a capital M. I was told it would take 3 days for repair. I no longer got back to my office in Indiana and got an email, it was ready for pickup in just a few hours. While I was pleasantly surprised, I think maybe the rapid service didnt work in my favor. After driving back to Louisville to pick it up, I was told I owed another $60.00...when I questioned it and explained I had called in and was quoted $69.99, I was told no, I owed the additional $60.00 so I went ahead and paid it. I noticed on the sheet they gave me, it showed some information I which I didnt understand about my machine and it also showed (password incorrect). I asked about the information and was given a very quick answer from one of the repair technicians, which I didnt understand and when I asked if it passed all of the diagnostics, I was told yes. I pointed out that I had noted the password was typed in wrong when it was checked in, there was no response whatsoever. All of this, to state, my machine is still not fixed, there is an issue and I have wasted all this time and money for nothing. I feel the younger gentlemen, that was trying to help me was very nice but needs a lot more training and the service technician should have taken more time to explain what had been typed on the service sheet and talked to me about my computer. Extremely disappointed.....Tammy
I have purchased all of my mac products( except phones)from simply mac. I had any repairs done there as well. So much easier than dealing with the crowded apple store. They are friendly, helpful. I keep going back.
Loved how they work and communicate to you with everything.
I had a fantastic experience at Simply Mac and I dealt with Christopher. He was very helpful in choosing the exact machine for my use and I would highly recommend working with him or one of his colleagues!
Great store, very professional and a wonderful alternative to the Apple Store. Thorough explanation and upfront pricing for repairs and accessories. Highly recommend.
It is with great pleasure that I give SIMPLY MAC 5 BIG STARS. From the moment I walked into the door, which was held open by an employee - WOW- that just does not happen anymore - to the moment I got the call from CHRIS (great tech) saying that he - yet again, brought my old imac back from the grave - my experience was amazing. I highly recommend SIMPLY MAC for ALL of your APPLE needs. Thank you - one and all.
Hate to say but my experience was very bad. Woman was not helpful at all and talked down on me instead of trying to help solve the problem but simply wanted me to leave it for repair and pay for service. Went to Apple store in Oxmoor mall and they were VERY helpful and I left with the computer working great!
I thought I knew what was wrong with my Mac but it was a simpler fix than I initially thought (much cheaper too). The service was great and it didn’t take up much of my time. Everyone goes on Apple for only being able to be repaired in store by servicers but I had a great experience and it was really a sigh of relief. 10/10 would come here again.
I have been going to this store for a very long time - even after it changed hands. The employees are very knowledgeable and very good about matching you up with the right equipment. They answer all of your questions with patience and concern.
Best customer service in the city. Period. Personalized, cordial, listening, not trying to sell you something or pass off unnecessary upgrades etc. Amazing experience. GO HERE BEFORE YOU EVEN CONSIDER GOING TO THE APPLE STORE!!
Got a newish hand me down phone from my company for work. Battery was dying quickly multiple times a day and shutting down periodically. Initially googled apple store but was unable to set an appointment for a few days. Took the phone to best buy and geek squad. After a diagnostic the “apple master” told me she thought the problem to be the logic board and the battery swap would not help. I was dissatisfied with this lack of professionalism and detail so I looked for a second opinion. Took the phone to Simply MAC where I was treated like a top tier client. They took the phone, changed the battery and I haven’t had a moments trouble since. Everyone showed quality professionalism and concern for getting my phone working normal again as quickly as possible. Absolute wonderful experience as I also am an hvac service provider in the area. Well done guys!
Simply MAC was awesome. I was able to get in the same day. They we very friendly and knowledgeable. The problem was resolved the same day. No waiting for 5 days for an appointment at the Apple Store in the mall.A few days later I recommenced them to my mother. She also had a very positive experience.
Simply Mac was very helpful. My old IMac got fried in a storm even with my surge protection. They were able to rescue all the info on my old Hard Drive and transfer it to the New I Mac I purchased. They answered all my questions and were verygood to deal with. I highly recommend them.Steve
1. (From 2020) Great help from Bobby in swapping out a newer Mac Air for an old Macbook Pro in my photography business. Very professional in dealing with social distancing for the C19 virus, as well.2. (From 2019) Excellent, detailed help with a hardware/cable issue involving my Mac and a projector and the Keynote presentation software.
Quick service and had my screen replaced in under 2 hours without having to navigate the crowds at the Apple store.
Horrible Service!!!!! Dont take anything here for repair/service. They dont know what they are doing!!!I took my Macbook Pro to them with driving 60 miles from Georgetown. I told them the touchbar was not working. This turned out to be 3 trips (total of 120 mi each trip)!! First for Chris to run a diagnostics, then a second after they ordered parts, and last time to pick it up ( they said on phone it would take 2-3 hours but when I got there they said 1-2 days). They told me a liquid sensor was tripped and a spill was not covered and it would cost me $900. I refused to pay and called Apple. Apple confirmed it was covered under my AppleCare+ and up to two accidents were covered. I have mailed my Macbook to Apple. Not sure what Simply Mac was thinking but I am glad I didnt pay them the $900!!! Ridiculous
Staff was amazing! So helpful, fast acting, thrifty, and very knowledgeable! Bobby helped us save a lot of money and had our trusty laptop back in our hands as soon as possible! Going to Simply Mac for all of our future Apple needs!
Employee was very dismissive. To the point that I don’t think he ever actually looked up at me. Not surprised he wasn’t listening to the problem through all the gum smacking. He literally asked me what the issue was and walked away while I was mid first sentence to do something in the back. Felt like I was dealing with a neighbors teen rather than a place of business. If you don’t want to help people, why are you in this business? To be fair there was another worker that was with other customers that seemed professional. The guy I was working with could care less. Also, it’s dumb that they ended up referring me to an apple store. Why does this place show up when scheduling a repair with apple if they can’t even do repairs here? That’s more of an apple site issue than their fault though.
So I have literally never left a bad review for any company, but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had as a consumer so I thought I should share. I was promised that when I left my Mac with them they would be able to fix the problem I had with my MagSafe power connection by the end of the day. End of the day comes, no call. Figured no big deal they would go ahead and get to it the next morning. Nope! Day three rolls around and I call a third time, and I finally get an answer. My Mac (2012) was out of date for them to replace the part. The manager Bobby yelled and continued to talk over me multiple times when I was expressing my concern about the time it took as well as the broken promise I was given. So I was charged $129 for an issue that they couldn’t fix because they had to open the computer up to look at it. Complete waste of time and money. Apple should be ashamed to make this place a registered Apple solutions store. Terrible employees, extraordinarily bad management, and the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.Would not recommend.
Always helpful. Much quicker and less overwhelming than the Apple store in the mall.
My father, who is 72, took in his iMac in with a hard drive problem. He was told his hard drive had gone bad and they couldnt get the data off the hard drive. It was a 2011 iMac, so he decided to buy a new iMac from this company. They returned his old iMac and the hard drive was removed. This was about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Today, I opened up the iMac to put a new hard drive in it so he and my mother could have a second Mac. Upon removing the front glass I noticed the one of the magnets holder had been bents. In addition, there were finger prints on the LCD showing they did not where gloves or cared about the taking care of the customers possession. Lastly, they kept the upper hard drive bracket and they torx posts that help secure the hard drive into the iMac. Later this week I am going to hook up the old hard drive...to see if they are telling the truth about that.
Went in for a battery replacement on my iPhone 6s Plus. They destroyed the screen in the process of replacing the battery. Took a week to get a new screen. When I picked it up the fingerprint scan wouldn’t work. Ended up having to take it to the apple store to get it fixed properly. In short. Just take your products back to apple
Technicians that actually care about the customer and the problem! I took my MacBook with an emergency during a very busy time. One of the techs (Bobby) had heard of the problem before and knew a quick solution. They were able to work me into a very busy schedule, charged me far less than what I expected for a rush fix, and my system is working great again.
This team got my iMac up and running quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend them.
A perfect shopping experience. I’m not too knowledgeable about tech and they educated me. Very grateful
Needed new battery for IPhone. Was able to drop the phone off that day & picked it up a few hours later. Fairly priced with quick service.
Great customer service! So much easier than going to the busy Apple store. Will definitely be back again.
The battery in my MacBook Air was corrupted. I am a freelance editor, so I was panicking, because I needed to meet a few deadlines. Bobby H had a new battery installed in under 30 minutes, and my laptop is working better than ever. I will definitely be going back for all my future computer needs, and will be recommending Simply Mac to my friends.
When Apple was promoting the discounted battery replacements for their phones, in the recent light of being found out that they were slowing them down, last year; I went to SimplyMac to get a battery. After they tested it to confirm it was indeed depleted enough to qualify for a new one, they let me order one. I paid for it and asked them when it would be in. They said it would take 3-4 months due to the high demand. I thought that was a little much; but agreed to wait. I called in April, and then in May. No battery. I called in June, and again in July. It is January 2019, a year has passed, and I still haven’t been contacted/updated on the status of my new battery.
Simply Mac was fantastic. Every employee was conversational and helpful, even when I rushed in with a dead Mac right at closing time. The repair was finished very quickly (the necessary hardware components were ordered and delivered overnight). They readily volunteered that the repair was possible for free under due to a recall for my model.
My screen was cracked and the rear camera was showing cracks on the screen even though there were no visible cracks on the camera. Simply Mac told me the only solution was to replace the entire phone for $549 since it was only under a limited warranty.I went to the apple store the next day and they fixed the screen and camera (camera replacement was included at no charge).Either the folks here were incompetent or dishonest. Either way, youre better off going to the Apple Store.
Good experience with Simply Mac. The employees were helpful and friendly and the wait time was minimal (especially being around the holidays!). I would definitely recommend!
I got a new pad because I wanted to copy my I-books from my cell phone but for some reason it did not copy. So I will probably go back to Simply Mac and find out what I did not do right.
Do NOT do any business here. Can I give negative stars? I had a 2 PM appointment to replace a battery, and went to the store at 1:50. I was told that there was a three hour turn around time (Three hours to replace a battery????) I finally got a call at 6:15 PM that my phone was ready, but they were closing at 7 PM. I went the next day to pick up my phone and was offered a 15% off coupon for accessories. I bought a charger, and asked specifically before chipping my card if I had been given the 15% discount. Oh, yes sir! The computer takes it off at the end of the transaction. I checked my receipt and... guess what? No discount. I had to wait another 20 minutes for Chelsea to give me my discount. No apology offered. It must have slipped past me. Even after I specifically asked before running my credit card? No response. I left very angry, dissatisfied and disappointed with their apparent apathy and lack of customer service. Chelsea, you either dont know how to do your job, or you simply refuse to do your job. Which is it? Do NOT do any business at this store. Simply Mac? Or Simply Dont Care?
Thank you Simply Mac for your prompt, excellent service. Especially Bobby, for his patience and expertise in solving my iMac issue. At Simply Mac you can actually park in front of the store so you dont have to shlepp your computer across an acre wide parking lot and through a crowded mall. There are no waiting lines for help, maybe a few minutes but thats it.Been using them for years and have NEVER been dissatisfied.
Ive gone to Simply Mac three times, and every time I felt like their only priority was to solve my problem--which theyve done every time. In the course of solving my immediate problem, theyve provided invaluable technical info that would have cost me many hours and/or dollars to get elsewhere. I cant recommend them highly enough.
My hard drive was failing, and I needed my computer fixed ASAP for grad. school! Simply Mac did an excellent job! I had my computer back in less than 24 hours, and its like brand new!Excellent service! I will recommend them to friends and family, and definitely use their services again.
Amazing store and staff, manager personally worked on my phone and computer for 3+ hours and came out every time with a smile even with all the frustration my devices caused him10/10 recommend, if you’re in Louisville, KY don’t even bother with the Apple store just go straight here, much better service and takes way less time
Very knowledgeable and helpful. I have not been in this store for several years, but now I prefer it over the Apple store in Oxmoor.
Chelsea got me transferred into my new iPhone XsMax. I love it. Simply Mac is my go-to expert for all Apple products and service.
The guys are knowledgeable, helpful, and, unlike some tech people (not there though) who like to condescend to clueless users. I really appreciate knowledge and Simply Mac, now renamed, is a great place to go.
Buying all of the laptops for my new business from Simply Mac. Extremely helpful in making the right choice for my start-up. Great with follow-up as well.
Great Experience getting my IPAD Pro back in service!. Chelsea ran diagnostics while i waited and then filed paperwork to ship it off to California. Had a new one in my hands in three days!Must point out that i DID have an Apple Care account in effect and under warranty - not sure if the experience would have been so good without that in place. (but it did prompt me to buy the SimplyMac version of warranty when i got the new machine).
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. This company loves to scam and they will charge you for every little thing. It’s a waste of time and they will try every possible way to get more money out of you. Never going here again. TOTAL SCAM!
A clean, well-organized business with friendly staff. Tech Bobby knows his business. They also have refurbished Macbooks for sale at reasonable prices, with warranties, which I took advantage of when my MacBook Air went belly up and was too expensive and too old to justify a repair. A much more pleasant and laid-back experience compared to the Apple Store. Highly recommend.
We were interested in buying a new Mac and also fixing our old one. We waited 15mins to be called up (no hello or anything). As soon as another couple walked in, they were greeted and called up immediately and before us. We walked out and will go somewhere else!
Very helpfulWe took our iMac into the store today expecting to leave it. It had numerous issues. But when we arrived, we were greeted with a “Hello, how can we help you today”. A couple of other customers at the counter but they still got right to us.They proceeded to solve all our problems at the counter while we waited. Fantastic. We are now back at home and running again.I should mention we are senior citizens - or old people. At one time we were young and virile and understood how everything works. We still have some of those qualities but it’s becoming harder to keep all the stuff working. We were told that everything was going to be easier. That computers would be like toasters. Just bring it home and plug it in. It kind of is that way - until things go wrong. Then no so much. The technician who helped us was very good - Christopher. When he didn’t know something, he went and asked someone else how to proceed. And he didn’t talk down to us. While we were there, several other silver hairs came in for assistance. No doubt they help a lot of us.This is not our first experience here. But the first review. We have been using them for quite a few years - going back to when they were called Mac Authority. My wife bought this iMac from them. They have always been very good and I recommend them highly. Thanks for the professionalism and the great service.
Went out of their way to get my computer fixed fast and made sure I had everything I needed. Great experience.
Great service, no wait and much lower repair bill than initial estimate. Highly recommend!

Bobby did a great job diagnosing my laptop’s problem, fixing it, and then ( hardest part) explaining to me in layman’s terms which I could understand.Wonderful job.
