10/10 great place! The staff is amazing and so kind, I picked a dress out and had to order in a different color, it was very fast, shipped in less than 2 weeks! Definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful experience looking for my wedding dress here! I didn’t get her name, but a very sweet lady was very helpful and polite during our visit. She even picked out my beautiful dress! This was the first store we stopped in at, all by coincidence (so glad Google suggested this place!), and after only trying on 2 dresses, the 3rd one was the charm! Thank you to the very sweet lady who picked it out and making my day even more special!

It was reasonably priced and she got me in and out quickly.

I love love LOVE the ladies at The Sewing room! Last month(July 2020) I came to them in total distress and despair needing my daughters pageant dress and interview outfit altered like yesterday! I hadnt slept in days trying to locate a place I could trust and that would not break the bank. Upon my Google search..I found The Sewing Room.. their reviews drew me in. And might I add the 5 star reviews dont do these ladies enough justice.I called and asked do I need an appointment and she said for me to bring it the same day if I could, it was already after 4pm and they closed at 6. I packed up everything and my daughter and headed out 27 mins away from my home...and Im so glad i did!! She was so friendly and patienteven with it being closing time. She was also very helpful in telling me how to put the dress on my daughter correctly, explaining the difference of hoops skirts and giving her some tips on how to walk in her dress and even suggested that I hand wash it and bring it back when I asked where was a good place to have it cleaned, to help save me money. When picking up the dress(days later) I had a suit for my son that needed a little hem and a busted seam on my romper I wanted to wear for the awards ceremony...the ladies immediately measured my son and said come back in 30 mins. (Which was after business hours)These ladies had everythingperfectly ready to go. They are sooo awesome. I am forever grateful to them for helping bring my daughters special moment together. These ladies are the epitome of altruism and I cant thank them enough. I will recommend them to everyone who needs a seamstress. Forever grateful💜💜💜💜

This is a great place to find a formal or wedding dress. They offer so many selections and are easy to work with. I am a plus size woman and have often felt judged when trying on wedding gowns. I felt great working with the staff to get the prefect fit and dress for me. I cant wait to see the final product after the alterations are complete.

I love KC sew room! They have altered multiple articles of clothing for me from my wedding dress and bridesmaids dress all the way to a T-shirt for my husband. They get items back quickly, and I have never experienced any issues with clothing after they have worked with them. I also have never had to be altered twice. If you need alterations, I HIGHLY recommend this business! They are sweet as pie too!

Found gorgeous prom dress for high school senior for GREAT price within 20 minutes and only trying on 3. The dress was perfect and the lady was extremely friendly and helpful in trying it one. Its a small shop hidden on the second story over Bearnos Pizza in Fern Creek but has a huge selection of dresses with some shoes and accessories and very reasonable prices. They also tailor and can order things.

The owners were so nice and very accommodating.

Wonderful store and staff! I planned a wedding on super short notice and they had a wonderful selection of bridesmaid dresses and rental tuxes at a very affordable price. I have 16 people in my wedding party & they made the entire process super easy! I highly recommend!!

Would not recommend for dress alterations. I had a brides maid dress taken in on the sides and the straps made a little shorter. The dress was taken in too much and the straps were made too short. I had to have them take the dress out a little more. Came back the next day, the dress fit but the straps were still too tight, and was told that is the way its suppose to fit. I know how a dress should feel and this was not it... They did have the dress ready in a timely manner. Prices were too high for what I had done.

We had been all over Louisville looking for dresses and found that dresses which my daughter loved were out of our price range or the dresses that were in our price range looked cheap. When we walked into The Sewing room we couldnt believe the amount of dresses they had in stock (and multiple sizes of many of the dresses) and every dress was within our price range. The dresses were beautiful and high quality. My daughter found a dress within 10 minutes of being there and feels like a princess in it! The staff was helpful (but not in our face) and had great suggestions. They do alterations right there so it would have been so easy to get those done if we had needed them. Thankfully, the dress fit her perfectly! This will be there very first place we shop for prom dresses next year!

This is my experience. I brought my dress in on August 31 for a small alteration. I called on Sept. 20 to see if it was ready and it had not been touched. I got it this week and it was not at all what I asked for. She actually argued with me about what I wanted! When she said “If you don’t understand, you can take it somewhere else,” I did. I will NOT make that mistake again!!

I went to this store based on its Google reviews, no appointment, and it was a great experience! They were very helpful and actually listened to what I liked and didn’t like in a dress. After not having any luck with the dresses my mom and I had pulled, one of them said she had another one I might like. Well that one ended up being “The Dress”! It was reasonably priced and they’ve got layaway too, which helps tremendously. Thank you, ladies!

First place we stopped. Got the perfect dress for my girlfriend. She is a size 4 on top and 12 bottom so we thought it would be tough. The staff was excellent help finding the right type of dress. Price and alterations were well under what we thought we would spend. Our senior prom will be amazing now that we have the perfect dress!

Was searching for a dress everywhere for a family wedding and finally found a perfect option here! It needed to be altered and I had sleeves added. I received so many compliments from family and friends. No one even realized the sleeves were not original to the dress!

Our daughter and I had been at so many local places to look for her a prom dress. This place was AWSOME!!! They treated her like a princess and they are wonderful about helping you to find that perfect dress.

Went for alterations to a wedding dress that cost thousands of dollars. Took 5 visits and they didnt understand what was needed. They are Oriental and there was a language barrier. Wanted a bustle added and alterations to the sleeves and bodice. The bustle didnt work so the dress train was stepped on and ruined at the reception and instead of shortening the gothic sleeves they cut the gothic pointed sleeve straight across. It was worn but not the same dress as before they hacked it up. Def would not recommend the shop for any 👰

I had the best experience I have ever had looking for a prom dress here. I did not feel pressured at all while I was shopping. Every other place I have ever gone shopping for a dress I have felt pressured to buy a dress I didnt even like.They had a fantastic selection. And the employees are there to help you with anything you might need. They know their inventory very well. I would go back here to find a prom dress again!

I took my Mothers 60 year old wedding gown to be altered and cleaned. They gave wonderful customer service and my gown turned out beautiful!

Since my post got deleted the first time:AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Upon dropping my dress off I asked for a price. I was given a high price for the work I was asking to have done but I agreed to it. I went back in to pick up my dress and the cost was significantly higher than what we agreed on. The owner proceeded to YELL AT ME at the top of her lungs calling me stupid and all kinds of things. It got to the point where I really thought she was going to lay hands on me. I will NEVER step foot back into that place. It is ridiculous to have someone verbally abuse you like that in their own place of business.

They have many beautiful dresses there, a good selection to choose from. The dresses are different, ones that are hard to find in most stores. The people were very friendly and helpful with helping me try dresses on and find the right size plus the prices were very reasonable.

Great store with great selection of prom and bridal dresses. The girls work there are helpful and knowledgeable. Will be back in the future.

Id gone to a couple of places to find a prom dress but the prices were either outrageous or not pretty enough. Then I came here and found the most beautiful presses for more reasonable prices, and I found a dress that Im absolutely in love with!

Ms. Kim was very knowledgeable and priced fair for a custom designed dress. Ill be utilizing her services.

Cheap products, limited selection, and less-than-helpful staff. My experience at KC Bridal was awkward and Ill be finding my dress elsewhere.

They were so rude that we left the store and went some where else to find a dress. A lot of the dresses were already falling apart while at the store. No customer service whatsoever.
