I am going to be 100% honest, when I originally walked in, I was doubtful I’d find my dress due to the design of the shop not being updated or modernized in any way, very old school. BUT from the time we walked in, the staff was very nice, attentive, & patient. I tried on maybe 4 dresses and found THE ONE. They say don’t judge a book by its cover. I was pleasantly surprised & I can’t wait to pick it up for the big day!!

I received exceptional service from the Bridal suite of Louisville. The owner and her employees are fabulous and so knowledgeable. They made me feel so comfortable and I could tell they truly cared about helping me find my dream dress. This is hands down the best bridal shop in Louisville!

The bridal store experience was fine but sadly they recommended Jo Graves to me for alterations (so much so they included a heart around her name). I don’t even know where to begin but the worst being my dress wasn’t done until the very last minute and I never had a final fitting with the bustles, strap alteration and final hem. She didn’t include the 7th bustle we discussed and my dress drug the entire night. Oh and this cost me $525. I learned a painful lesson of this dress shop was not trustworthy on their recommendation and that I should have been given an estimate well before all the work being done because I did not budget $525. I had a few quotes around town for maximum of $400, and with how bad my dress fit, I just feel like I was scammed. :( You can also see the empty space on my chest area. That wasn’t there before her final alteration that I never got to see. she took the dress straight to the shop to be pressed so I couldn’t try it on prior :(

I had been to Bridal Suites a few times before with friends that got their dresses there. Its a really pretty store when you first come in and everything is clean and well appointed. They had a very unique selection and I was happily surprised when I literally fell in love with the second dress I tried on! I didnt want to stop though because my stylist still had several more for me to try on that looked equally beautiful. Im glad I tried them though because it made my decision easier. Also I should mention they had dresses in my size which was nice because Im not skinny, so it helped make me feel better about myself. The ladies were all super sweet and were all so helpful. I couldnt be happier with my experience and my dress. After my appointment they even did fun pictures of my family and me, this included getting to sign a WEDDING DRESS that I said yes! I would put Bridal Suutes at the top of your list!

I had an amazing experience finding my wedding dress here! I was able to try on lots of dresses and was helped in and out of them by the sweetest staff members who actually picked me out the dress I ended up wearing on my wedding day! The store is clean and comfortable and I was able to get all the help I needed even when it was very busy! Thank you bridal suite!

I went to this Bridal Suite Saturday 10/02/21. The three ladies there were super nice and friendly and made me feel super welcomed. They worked with me and what I wanted to try on and was patient and kind. You can tell this place cares about their brides and not just about getting a sale, ( like a lot other places) do these days. I’m going back to take my mom and aunt and MIL in the 13th of November. I truly believe I’m gonna buy my dress from here. I love their selections and their professionalism when it comes to their business and customer service. 11/10 recommend.

I absolutely loved The Bridal Suit of Louisville! We drove 6 hours to find my perfect dress! The staff was so patient, caring and supportive! I had the best time! I tried on countless dresses only to go back and choose the first one I tried on! They were very helpful! I would recommend them to all my friends and family!

The visit i had with this boutique was amazing! I visited there a couple of months ago to start my dress search process and i was greeted with smiles, compliments, & love. They made me feel very special and let me pick from many options! The lady that helped me didn’t leave me confused for not one bit she explained everything and got to it. I highly suggest trying this store to find your dream dress you will not be disappointed!

While I didn’t actually end up purchasing a gown from this establishment, I just had to write a review! This place provided a wonderful and personalized experience. They have a generous but not overwhelming selection (and very intentionally selected! They were all gorgeous!) of dresses and the consultants all seemed very knowledgeable. I had Bayley as my consultant and she made me feel so welcomed and comfortable and genuinely shared in my excitement! If you want to find your dream dress with the help of knowledgeable staff that will double as your cheerleaders, then you’re at the right place! The Bridal Suites is a beautiful, professionally run bridal boutique with a great selection of gowns of all different styles. I went during a trunk show and fell in love with a Justin Alexander one. My bridesmaids all got their dresses here too and they couldn’t have been more perfect. The bridesmaid selection wasn’t the largest but it had almost all the looks I had in mind for what I wanted. I didn’t want to chance ordering them online because of all the nightmare stories I’ve heard from my friends. Don’t miss shopping here for your dream dress!! Will update after wedding.

Bridal Suite of Louisville is hands down the best place in the area for your Bridal and Bridesmaids needs. When you walk in, you are welcomed by charismatic and attentive staff who know how to help you and your party with this experience. They offer a wide variety of top designers and awesome accessories as well. I got my bridal gown, all my bridesmaids dresses...my mom got her bridal gown here as well and we would never go anywhere else.

Great place to find a wedding dress. Not as many selections as a place like Davids bridal but they are much more elegant and not generic. Although the phone was wonky the day I went and it appeared to be a bad number on Google, I took a chance and just went to the store anyway, and Im glad I did. The customer service was amazing, the dress selection was diverse, and i was accepted to come in without an appointment.

I chose my perfect wedding dress here about 2 weeks ago, and my experience couldn’t have been better!!! I loved this place! All the ladies in the shop (especially Christie) were so sweet and beyond helpful! My appointment time was for an hour and a half and I ended up staying for almost 2.5 hours. Not once did I feel rushed to end my appointment. Other shops I visited in the city made me feel like they needed to get me done so they could get to the next sale and the experience felt very rushed; this was certainly not the case here. The ladies treat you like a friend and make the experience so fun and not stressful. They have so many gorgeous dresses and accessories in their shop, and I had a blast trying them all on. You definitely need to give this place a try if you are looking for your wedding dress!!!

I found the dress after trying on only 3!! And, it turns out, Christie had hand designed and crafted the dress herself. It was truly a meant-to-be moment and I couldnt have been more pleased with Christies care and support throughout the entire process. I just picked up my wedding dress from the Bridal Suite and I am over the moon! I have never met such attentive and helpful women in my entire wedding planning experience. My dress came early and they were able to give me a list of tailors, even recommending one that would specifically be able to do what is needed to my very intricate dress. I couldnt say enough about this bridal salon, I feel so lucky that I randomly found this place online while researching shops in the Louisville area (Im not a native to KY). I absolutely loved my experience shopping here and cannot wait to continue working with them in the future for accessories and last minute dress prep 2 weeks before my wedding date. The Bridal Suite was a joy to work with - I’mso grateful to have gotten my dress from them. Haley helped me quickly find dresses that fit my criteria; I ended up purchasing the second dress I tried on - and was under budget, even. Their dress selection was incredibly well-curated, and not overwhelming like I found larger shops to be. Service was fabulous and communication prompt; my dress came in about a month earlier than its estimated arrival, which gave plenty of time for alterations. We planned our entire wedding in 6 months, so that extra time was sincerely appreciated! From the second I walked in, Rachel and Jan were eager to help me, and Jan (my consultant) was with me the entire time I was there, helping me try on at least 10 dresses, clipping me in, and showing me various veil options. Staff here pay attention to the details each bride likes and finds many options to try on. I purchased my dress here at a 10% discount during their birthday special. I have been to The Bridal Suites several times, but never as The BRIDE! My sister bought her dress here 2 years ago and had such a good experience, and my mom bought her dress for my brothers wedding here when they first opened. I knew I wanted to go here when my turn came. The staff and my consultant who helped me were nothing short of amazing. They all remembered our family as well, which just added to that overall good vibe! I really didnt know what I wanted upon going in, but I felt like they listened to my feedback as we went through trying on. An hour and a half later, I said yes to my dress! -and my veil and my hair comb and my sash and my jewelry!!! LOL. I wasnt expecting to find it, but there you go. I just loved it all and it was out together so perfectly. Brides, dont hesitate to go here. The selection and service was even better that I expected it to be for my turn. This was my first bridal gown shopping experience. I didnt expect to find my dress here, but I did! My consultant was Paula. She was kind and generous throughout the whole experience. She was friendly with my guests, too, and made them feel welcome. Although it was a busy day in the shop with many other brides there, Paula was dedicated to helping me. Lori and Rachel are amazing! As an event planner I honestly never thought Id have that say yes to the dress bridal moment - but I did. What I expected to be a bittersweet experience since I lost my mom several years ago was quite the opposite. These ladies went above and beyond to make me feel like a queen. They worked as a team to help me find the most exquisite Justin Alexander gown. I wanted a sophisticated look and they did just that. I feel truly blessed to have found Lori and Rachel. This place blows all the big box bridal stores out of the water both in price and customer service. I felt much more at ease and comfortable at The Bridal Suite than I did at Davids or Bridal Warehouse...It was a much more personal experience, no pressure and private. Compared to Bridal Warehouse and Davids where I felt on display, I felt at home at The Bridal Suite. The prices were similar if not LOWER which certainly surprised me since it is more of a boutique. Kudos to Sloan for helping me choose a wedding dress and making it a FUN experience!

I went shopping at this location recently looking for a wedding dress. It was the 3rd shop I went to. The lady who helped me was great, I think her name was Amy. However, I wasnt satisfied with my overall experience... and here is why: 1. of all the places I have shopped so far, this is the only location that wouldnt allow me to photograph myself in the dress. HELLO! This is my wedding dress... why on earth would I buy a dress that I dont know what it will look like in a picture?! 2. They wouldnt tell me the designer of the dress. It was private label. Well, thats great, but when someone asks me the designer, or I want to check to make sure Im paying what its worth, or down the road I want to sell it, knowing that its private label does me NO good. 3. They had very few dresses, and only 1 fit my needs, and all of the dresses were dirty from so many people trying them on, Im guessing. 4. They said they could order the dress, but had NO IDEA when it would be in. They said anywhere from July to August. My wedding is in September... Im going to need to know a more accurate date, especially considering they dont do alterations in house. That would be a scheduling nightmare. 5. They insulted my budget. The owner said I wouldnt be able to find what I wanted for that amount... well, I did. Just not at their shop. This seems like a mom and pop shop, and I think thats great. But their service should be better, considering I was the only person in the shop in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday. Truth is, I loved one of the dresses I tried on there, but because of their no picture rule, inability to tell me the designer, and a date that it would arrive, I had to pass that dress up. It was too risky. A $950 loss for them.

This shop hands down has the BEST staff and selection in Kentucky! The girls are so friendly, caring and sweet, and the gowns are to die for. I recommend The Bridal Suite to every bride I meet!

My daughter and I met your staff at The White Hall wedding show on Sunday 4/15, They were wonderful and even though My daughter has already purchased her dress else where they still treated her wonderfully. As we hadnt been able to view veils on the day she picked her dress, so we decided to visit your shop. We just stopped in on the following Tuesday to have a look. The ladies remembered her and where very quick to help. They picked at couple veils they believed would go with her dress, Then had us look and pick a few more. They even went as far as to find a dress similar to hers so she could compare beading. Im happy to say Victoria purchased her veil and its beautiful. This experience made up for the not so good one we had at the other shop.

They have a nice selction of dresses. However, I feel that they were somewhat dishonest. I found a dress I liked and the woman helping me told me it was a Lillian West. However, I could not find the dress online. I called to ask about the dress again, asking them if they were sure it was a Lillian West because I could not find it in the collection online. They told me that it was. Finally, I decide to go in to try it on again because I could not remember what it looked like since photos of the dress are not permitted. All I had to go on was an image in my head and the ladys comment about if it is your dress then you will keep thinking about it. So she put that dress in my head and the memory of it without a photo to keep me in wonder so that I would have to come back. (Nice psychological marketing right there;) When I went back, I found out that it is not a Lillian West but has no label. The whole experience was rather odd. The dress, whoever the designer was??? was rather lovely but I felt the whole ordeal to be a bit sketchy so I said YES to a dress at Rebeccas!! At first, I had a bit of buyers remorse because the dress here was haunting me. Im glad I went in to see the dress again to get it out of my head. Then I went back to Rebeccas to see my dress. Theres no comparison. Now I know that I made the right decision:-)

To start off, I will say I bought my dress from the Bridal Suites. Its absolutely beautiful and such good quality. I cant wait to wear it when I walk down the aisle! The reason I am only giving this place a 3 though is because of one reason. The owner. As well intentioned as she may be, she is extremely pushy when it comes to buying items at her store. Granted, I know its how she makes a living, but it is very overbearing. Both times Ive been there when she has been there she will not stop trying to sell me something . Ill go in to look at one specific item and before I know it shes trying to sell me items I never wanted in the first place. It wouldnt be so bad, except I always get the feeling she is more interested in making the sell than making sure I actually like what Im buying. Every other bridal store Ive been to has been all about me and what I want, while the owner at Bridal Suites is always trying to rush me to the register. Im not sure if it is intentional or not, but I would recommend several other boutiques over this one simply because of that reason.

I wouldnt recommend any other place for a bride!! All the women were so wonderful and helpful - they allow you to pick the dresses/styles that you want to try on first and then afterwards they suggest styles that they (as professionals) think would look best...And thank goodness since they actually picked my dress that I fell in love with - and I would have never tried it on just by looking at it on the hanger!! I would suggest going on a weekday to avoid any crowds. Overall - such an amazing experience and they made me feel so special and beautiful!

Stretched out trial dresses for bridesmaids resulted in a terrible fit for a $400 dress even though they measured me in store. Trial dress was an 8 and fit beautifully, they measured me and ordered a 12. The 12 is too long in the torso, too big all around & the back is baggy. My weight has not fluctuated. Alterations can only help so much and my seamstress says she would have to totally rework the dress to fix the back because of the zipper. Needless to say Im displeased.

I went in to this shop with an idea in mind, tight budget, super tight time frame for ordering a dress. I found a dress to fit my needs! But the time frame of when I would get the dress was apparently a bit off as I got the dress one day before I need to have it already altered. On top of that, its not even the dress that I ordered!! My wedding is in 1.5 weeks and I dont have a dress.Terrible customer service. I was kind and respectful talking about not having my dress by their projected date and they got pretty nasty with me, the owner included.Did I mention that the dress I received is not even the dress that I ordered??

We walked in and was immediately greeted and helped...we were allowed to look at the dresses and was able to try them on and they gave alot of information about each and every dress my daughter tried on....we werent pushed to buy a dress right then and they were really friendly. then several weeks later we went back to look at one of the dresses my daughter really liked and they remembered us right off and was really helpful right then...she tried the dress back on and told her that she was torn between this dress and another one. they told us that whatever dress she decided on she would be beautiful in....they wished us luck on her wedding and said whichever dress she decides on will be fine. they are really polite and truly cared about my daughters feelings. YES i recommend this shop!!

Was the worst place out of all my shopping. Customer service was lacking along with their selection. Consultant was rude to my sister who was only trying to help since she obviously had no clue what I was looking for. Every dress she grabbed was everything I said I hated. She didnt once listen to what I actually wanted. Dresses were also dirty, some had makeup stains all over them. This was the first place I made an appointment to and it really put a negative mood on the whole dress shopping experience in general. Dont recommend.

Plus size brides beware!! I called before scheduling to make sure they had a good selection of plus size options... she assured me they had a great selection. It was a waste of a visit. They do not have a good selection of plus size dresses. Only a very small corner houses the maybe 12-15 dresses. And as soon as the lady saw I was plus size she said “oh I see you are creating a challenge for me today”. Not once but twice she said it. She made me feel like since she thought she couldn’t sell me, that she could rush me through and get me out of there all the while reminding that I was a challenge to fit. Upon trying on the 1st dress and realizing it was not the dress she actually clapped her hands at me and said to hurry and not waste time. She didn’t at all listen to what I wanted and tried to put me in two dresses that are not my style. To be honest I haven’t felt that bad leaving a fitting of any kind before. I was squirreled away in the back while a few other thinner bride-to-be’s were given the royal treatment. I have never!! If you want to feel good about your search for the perfect wedding dress, DO NOT GO HERE if you are a plus size bride-to-be.UPDATE 12/21/2018:WOW is all I have to say. Blatant dishonesty in your response. I NEVER said I was specifically was looking for a BLACK drop waisted dress. I showed her some examples of black dresses and told her and YOU (via phone) that was originally my vision but learned it was difficult to find so I was open to try anything to see what I could find. On the card I filled out, I checked multiple options to try not just BLACK drop waisted. My specific verbiage was that so far drop waisted was the best fit of all the ones I had tried on. Yes, I am specific in my request in that I want vintage inspired with lace and a little “bling”. But any bridal shop I’ve visited so far has been able to meet those specifications. The point is, and you hammered it home in your response which lacks ANY customer service skill/etiquette, you once again blame your employee’s and your shops short comings on ME, the customer. Were any of those tears on the phone about how disheartened you were real or just a play to make me feel oh so sorry for you? Now this is going to turn personal, because YOU, want to get personal in blame. YOU made a phone call to me crying and pretending to be the sincerely sorry Bridal shop owner but then turn around and post on here how it’s all my fault that Paula was so quick to dismiss me at my visit. Then have Paula call me last night? What was the point? And yes, both me and my guest did hug Paula upon the conclusion of our visit. It was the cordial and respectful thing to do when she was reaching out to hug us. I thanked her for her time because regardless of how she treated me, it was the right thing to do. Would you have rather I shove her off and make a scene in the middle of your salon? I am a manager in a customer service environment, that behavior doesn’t solve anything. I made a point to respectfully leave and post a review hoping another plus size bride doesn’t have to feel as bad as I felt leaving your salon. I have been to 2 other places in town now with the same “specific look” requests and the visits were exactly how I would expect to be treated. Kindly, caringly, and respectfully. Thank goodness for those two shops because if I only had your shop to go by, I might have been trepidatious about continuing my search. Again, my sole reason is to spare another bride-to-be from the heart ache I had leaving your shop.

I really think this store is cute and has great potential. However I had a terrible experience in this store and it really is too bad. I made a 9 Oclock appointment with a consultant and I arrived right on time. I went in and wasnt greeted, not a problem, so I went over to let them know I was there and who I had an appointment with. One girll was on the phone the entire time we were there (it was obviously a personal call due to the language she was using) and the other girl said oh okay and what is this appointment for? I explained we wanted to look at bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride dresses. She proceeded to point to where they were and said go ahead and look through and let me know if you need a changing room. ..... ..... ok. We went over the very small area where the dresses were and started looking. we looked through all the dresses and no one ever came over. So we went to the MOB dresses and we looked and my mom picked up one she liked but because we had been getting strange stares the whole time from the girls at the counter my mom told me she didnt want to ask for a changing room. At that point my bridesmaids and I decided that we needed to go look somewhere else. So we just left. No one said anything to us as we headed toward the door and even my mom said thank you. Nothing. I couldnt believe it.

Very rude people, overprived dresses, it was a mess for me and my bride to be. I wouldnt even recommend them to people I hate. The lady we were STUCK with, was a very rude woman.
