Springdale has serviced our cars for the past few years. Every time, true professionalism, and honest discussion. Weve been very pleased, but even more so recently as the team performed a brake fluid service, which unfortunately caused an issue with my brakes after I left. When I got the car back, the team immediately admitted fault, fixed everything needed at no additional charge and even mentioned a free oil change on my next visit to make up for things. Im not saying this to report bad service, but rather the professionalism and honesty to make it all good, and then go above and beyond. I trust Springdale and will continue to support them going forward. They are the best.

I used this company to repair a brake issue when my usual mechanic had to close his shop because of covid last year. Springdale installed the new parts and when I drove it off the lot my brake pedal was loose, moving laterally when I applied pressure. The repair was also quite expensive based on information I found after the fact. I lived with it for a year, but finally decided that I couldn’t tolerate it and took it back. I had to take it back to another shop because the one I used closed. They said there was nothing that could be done. They also told me I refused a part last year making it seem like it was my fault the pedal was loose now. But when I pressed I was told that the part was designed to distribute braking between the front and back not tighten the pedal. Now I have to live with a it…it’s maddening to feel my brake pedal moving around down there. I originally liked that they were local and family owned but quite frankly I would rather have a corporate run out of state owner who does better work for a better price and fixed their mistakes when they happen. I definitely won’t be taking my other cars to them. It’s really disappointing because they are the closest repair shop to my home.

I always try to support local whenever possible and I would highly recommend Springdale Automotive for any repairs and maintenance that your vehicle might need. The staff is super friendly, extremely attentive and accommodating. We received progress updates throughout via text messages and phone calls. Superb communication! The work was completed promptly and performed by an experienced and professional mechanic, and the parts/services that were needed were priced reasonably. I’ve been taking our cars to Springdale for many years. They do solid, competent work for a reasonable price. I especially like their automatic text messaging follow up and tracking system. The people are friendly and helpful, especially Brandi, manager.

I was traveling and my car broke down on the highway, I had to wait several hours for a tow truck and I arrived 5 minutes after closing. They were very nice to take care of me and check my car in even after they were closed on a Friday. They completed a very detailed inspection and found the issue. I had my car towed back home for repairs but I would recommend Springdale Automotive! They are extremely nice and very caring.

Springdale Automotive was great! They were quick with communication and got my car back up and running very quickly. A real nice group of people who do quality work.

I recently purchased a 2019 Honda CRV and wanted the mechanics at Springdale to give the car a second review. They provided a detailed assessment (luckily nothing major was found) and they provided a maintenance plan for future work. They also replaced an air filter and rotated the tires. All in all, the work was completed faster than expected and cost less than I expected. I will definitely return to Springdale when any service is needed.

I brought my vehicle in that was having several issues that other shops were struggling to diagnose. Springdale on brownsboro road was incredibly professional and efficient. They sent me texts as the vehicle was being checked in, inspected, and as the estimate was being prepared. I received a professional and detailed inspection sheet which included pictures and videos of each issue being addressed, as well as a detailed estimate. I have found my go to local shop for sure. Highly recommend.

RECOMMEND HIGHLY!!!They really went out of their way to show me they were my new shop. I asked if they were cheaper than the VW dealership because I’m so sick of over paying for services. Not only were they cheaper, but when they started the 1.5 hour diagnostic and realized my electrical problem was a result of the ice build up in my door that wouldn’t open they stopped and didn’t charge me for it. I’m quite sure that wouldn’t have happened at the dealership. I was charged $179. at VW just for a headlamp replacement AND the one I supplied was still sitting on the driver’s seat because they wouldn’t use it.I got my oil changed for less than I was paying with a coupon at Jiffy Lube and they replaced my wipers at cost. They got me in and out within less than two hours. I’m grateful they didn’t charge me for the diagnostic service I didn’t need!Use this shop confidently.

Ive been a loyal customer of this company for many years but lately service has become a little more spotty. They promise some things that they dont deliver. Make sure that you get complete clarification on your bill before you pay it.

Way too overpriced - especially for labor. Came in for manufacturer scheduled maintenance, and they “found” multiple issues. They quoted me at over $1800 to fix everything. Declined all the recommended services, and took my car to Meineke for the same manufacturer scheduled maintenance. They found only one of the same issues as Springdale, and their quote was $200 cheaper to fix it. Would not recommend this place, but at least they have friendly staff and a detailed inspection report with helpful visuals.

They provided a detailed estimate of work to be done which included several procedures. I was kept current on progress and developments.All work was preformed within the estimate and an Uber Ride was provided for drop off and pick up. I was very satisfied and highly recommend Springdale Automotive.

This shop had my vehicle 3 TIMES in the span of 2 weeks for the SAME issue. They charged me $1000 without fixing my vehicle then wanted to charge an additional $115 to run an electrical test. One of the three times the techs didnt even put all of the parts back on my car before they gave it back to me. After speaking to one of the service writers, they allegedly ran the test and discovered a bolt was loose on the battery. This sounds like a cover story they came up with when they realized they wouldnt be getting anymore money out of me. I never complain and am very easygoing, but I will definitely be filing a report with the BBB.

Springdale was a godsend during the COVID-19 crisis. They offered pick up and delivery service for our vehicle and no contact service. They promptly fixed our issue and got our vehicle back up and running within an hour of our call. Thank you so much to the Springdale team for your hard work and for taking such great efforts to keep us safe!

They were really sweet and helpful BEFORE service and even picked up my vehicle no problem. I was supposed to receive text updates about my service and did not receive any. I only got a call to give me a ridiculously large estimate that costs more than the value of my vehicle. Right before closing (bare in my mind my car was picked up very early), they finally called to charge for my service and had the audacity to ask if I needed my vehicle to be dropped off to my home. They charged me but forgot to include my coupons and told me they would take care of it but to this day (5 days) later I have to keep calling to ask if they would refund the coupon amount and still haven’t seen any progress. I don’t think I will be returning here.

I had a screw in my tire and luckily it was only in the tread so they didn’t charge me to have it removed.

It is unfortunate to say Springdale automotives is a rip-off more than anything else. I had a tire with low pressure that needed a patch, I paid $52 to get this repaired here. The NEXT DAY as I was driving the TPMS sign went off again and my tire felt strange. Took it to back Springdale to check out what was wrong, the person who patched my tire forgot to SEAL IT. They re-repaired it at no extra cost obviously, but it should never have happened in the first place, especially when it cost FIFTY dollars.If you do come here, CHECK PRICES OF OTHER PLACES FIRST and see how much parts are. I had a rear window that wouldn’t roll up. I was going to be charged 200 for this fix. Went out and bought the parts (about $50) from autozone and fixed it myself. Keep in mind I have zero experience doing this. Took 30 mins and have never had any issues since with it, and never had anyone find any issues during car check-ups.Normally I love buying and supporting local, but that should never come at the expense of getting ripped off and subpar service.This place is extremely overpriced and will take advantage of those less knowledgeable about car mechanics, especially women. They have fantastic customer service and have always been polite and quick, it’s just disappointing to know I am not getting my money’s worth in these hard times.

I have taken our vehicles to this place for 10 years now. They used to be honest and you could depend on their professional opinion. They now have new management and my wife had taken her vehicle there to find antifreeze leak. It ended up being water pump. Their price to fix the water pump was a little high but thats not what made us call around. The lady there then gave my wife three pages of things that needed to be done to the vehicle. Of all the things they recommended they did not recommend replacing the belt since the water pump was being replaced. While the belt is off why not replace it? The other things recommended were being up charged big time. Its a shame such an honest and dependable place that I always recommended to everyone to take their vehicles to has went downhill. Our new repair place said that some of the things they recommended was a money grab and I agreed which is why I told my wife to go get her car from there and call other local repair.

This business works hard to make the correct repairs to all the vehicles brought to them and they let you know what auto repairs you will need in the future. Also, the crew keeps the customer updated throughout the process. Nice work.

I needed a short notice recharge of my trucks A/C system passing through Louisville, KY. The guys at Springdale Automotive hooked me up despite a 1 hour notice and same day service. They did a great job and came in under the quoted price. My A/C is icy cold and Im off to hot Texas. GREAT service and a great experience.

Terrible experience for the second time. They run diagnostics and seem confident with what the issue is, they “fix it” and charge you, then tell you it’s not actually what they thought it is. So they have to fix and try different things until they can understand what the diagnostics are actually showing. I’ve taken my car to the dealer and other mechanics and they all agree what the issues are, which is different than what Springdale thinks it is. They simply do not know what they are doing and are simply doing a process of elimination and charging you along the way. Gave them a second chance. Now never going back. If I could rate them a 0, I would.

I have brought several cars here over the years. I have been there enough for them to send me a gift card for $50. This time I brought my 2012 Honda CVR that only has 36K miles on it for an oil change and tire rotation. They then run an inspection on the car and along with a list maintenance items they find an oil leak. I did not see an oil leaking and they told me it had not gotten to that point yet. So I have them fix it. So it did not get worse. LABOR COST WAS 526 dollars!!! What would it have cost me had it gotten worse.So what was going to be a 100 dollar job (60 oil change and 30 tire rotation) ended up costing me 905 dollars. I ended up not even getting the tires rotated! because it was already so much money.! I think I was taken advantage of! Wont be back unfortunately.

While traveling to Louisville, my Rangers transmission was severely damaged after a coolant leak. While I chose not to have it fixed, Dave at Springdale was so kind, helpful, and honest about the situation. I have absolute faith in the quality of their work because of their trustworthy demeanor and excellent customer service.

Thorough but way too expensive. The technology they use with texting and their app is great and really convenient. But they wanted $372 for a CVT transmission fluid change for our 2015 Honda CRV. Many other places (e.g. Aamco) will do it for less than half of that. My experience is also that they recommend anything service possible that could be done on your car, whether its necessarily needed or not.

Lovely waiting area that is kid-friendly with complimentary popcorn and CapriSuns :) chairs are super comfy and staff are friendly. They provide text notifications to keep you updated on the progress of your service. Excellent experience!

I appreciated the research they did to confirm my transmission and almost gained my full trust in value. Learned a lot from several sources when comparing.

One of the best experiences I’ve had with a repair shop. Springdale quickly addressed/fixed my primary maintenance issue at a reasonable price. They also advised me of other issues found on my truck and clearly indicated minor issues verses the ones that may need to be addressed soon. A clear quote was given for each individual issue with reasonable pricing but no repairs/services were pushed unless absolutely necessary. This is a very well run, professional business with great communication. They also use a text service to let you know when your car is being inspected including a digital report with pictures and details of issues discovered and recommended repair work.

Great shop! The reason why is that I did have a problem with the service one time but it was the way it was addressed and handled that impressed me. They listened and resolved the issue to my complete satisfaction. I have had a lot of work done there and will continue to. I wish I could use the guys at Springdale more often. I live in NC, but a friend recommended I use them while traveling thru the Louisville area. My friends advise was spot on; these guys did what they said they would do, got it done when they said they would be done and the cost of service was great. I would not hesitate to take any of my vehicles to this team in the future; I wish they would expand to North Carolina. 👍👍

Brought in my car, they replaced a leaky valve steam, wipers, and other small upkeep. I assumed my brake pads needed replacing and they told me they were in good shape - really appreciate their integrity, was finished same day. You cant go wrong with these guys. This place is a rip off !! they over charge for parts and labor,im takin them to court.they charge me 135.00 to tell me what was wrong with my car.I told them to fix the problem.after they fix it they said that wasnt the problem.than treating me to get more work done or they will charge me for it being their,I spend 1054.00 my car is leaking antifreeze which was somethin they was supposed to been fixed.Theses people need to be shut down!!! THEY ARE LIERS,AND WILL Lie TO YOU FOR MORE MONEY And.BECAUSE COURTS ARE CLOSED,They getting away with it for now. My car still not fixed.

The service at Springdale is incredible. I never feel like they are trying to up-sell me anything I dont need. If they recommend something and I want to wait, they are respectful of that and even give options so I can choose how to handle an issue with my Volvo in the meantime. They are creative in finding solutions to common problems, but I never feel like they are taking a shortcut that would affect the quality of the repair. I highly recommend them!

Excellent customer service and repair work. Was on a trip to visit friends from out of town when my A/C broke. Lindsey found time to squeeze me in when they were packed for an inspection and then worked with my insurance company to save me as much money as possible, all while being cordial every time I spoke with him and even providing transportation on the day my car was being repaired. We recently had an urgent concern regarding our right rear tire and had just returned from a trip to NY on a Sunday evening. Our 2016 Subaru had started making a really funny noise. We didnt know what to do since we had work and other commitments on Monday and Tuesday, and needed the car. We took the car in, first thing Monday am, to Springdale Automotive on Brownsboro and they took it from there. Dave got the scoop on what we had noticed and the technician who checked the car out, figured out the problem. By that afternoon, the car was back in good shape.
