Mark has all my repair work now after using other places that either botched the job or couldnt figure out what was wrong. Hunt & Knight has always done great work @ a reasonable price. Their ability to diagnose problems is unmatched. Highly recommend them.

Hunt and Knight did extensive work on my vehicle. The quality of work was top notch. What I really appreciate is the fact that they communicated with me along the way and not only did I learn from the conversations, i also was also allowed input. Hard working team and extremely knowledgable.

Wow, I am blown away by the amazing service I received from Hunt & Knight! Last week I was driving my boyfriend to work on the highway, and all of a sudden my car started pulling, and I did not feel comfortable driving back to our house, so I stopped in to a tire store to see if it was my tires, and it was not, they said it was more mechanical. They gave me Hunt & Knight‘s information and I am so thankful. I called them around 10 AM, and they were able to get me in right away to diagnose my problem. Turns out I needed a new router and axle for my left front tire. Everyone was very professional and they showed me my car on the lift, showing me what the issues were - I could literally see that my wheel was not in a great position! They were able to get the work done for me that day within four hours, which was a real lifesaver as we are a one car family and waiting until Monday would have thrown our whole schedule off for the weekend.Mark, the owner, was especially kind and waived the lift fee for me. Everyone was just so nice, and even though it was a large unexpected cost, I left their shop feeling happy, mostly due to their stellar customer service! I was also able to take a peek in the back at all of the awesome classic cars they are working on - super cool! I was looking for a mechanic here in Louisville, and this is now my place! Took my car up to Hunt and Knight Automotive because my AC went out and my hood latch was broken. They got me all fixed up and saved me a ton of money. Mark and his team were so nice and professional and even offered to give me a ride to work while they had my car. I will definitely be using them for all my car repairs going forward.

On my trip from Ohio to Texas my 87 Grand National sprung an oil leak in Louisville. Luckily, I was referred to Hunt and Knight by the Chevy dealership. After receiving the referral I called and spoke to Mark (the owner). Mark said he could look at the car same day, which was awesome because I needed to be back in Texas by Friday. Mark gave me the number to a great tow truck driver and I was able to get the car to the shop. After only a few minutes Mark diagnosed the issue and his team got the car squared away within a few hours. While I was waiting Mark even let me borrow is car to grab lunch. All in all, I was very pleased with the work that was done and the professionalism of Hunt and Knights organization. Thank you for the great work!

The office staff/service writer that morning was wonderful. I had to wait while till my car was ready. She was engaged in warm conversation so it seemed like the time flew by. The work performed was spot on. Very happy with their service.

Highly disappointed, took my car to get diagnosed and was given two different answers. One of which was just new rotors and the other being 1400 dollars worth of suspension replacements. I decided not to have work done at this shop. They then told me that I could not get my car back until I paid a 60 dollar “drive off” fee. I was never informed of such a fee when I dropped off my car. There was also no sign inside, nothing online, and no contract I signed stating I had to pay this. However they still refused to bring me my car until I payed. This place will milk you of every dollar you have and will take advantage of you treating me as if I am an idiot with cars when I do most of my own work anyway. Bs of a shop.

My immediate family and I have been going to Hunt & Knight for YEARS now and I will not go anywhere else. I even go to them for all my oil changes! If you want quality work done to your car and exceptional customer service you would do the same! I trust that when I give my car to Hunt & Knight that they will do the job right the first time. They are also great about letting you know what really needs to be fixed right away and what can wait as well as informing you of any options that could be cost-saving or better for you in the long run. Sure you could go to any old mechanic shop and that may cost less, but then again you are running the risk of subpar service. Which is not something you want for your car in my opinion. For what you get H&K is not only worth every penny, but is honestly a great value for the quality of service.Furthermore, everyone there has always exhibited exceptional customer service skills and has gone above and beyond on numerous occasions for me. Adam is especially great if I have concerns about my vehicle or if I need to stop in for something.Overall, I honestly could not recommend them enough!!!

There is not a nicer, more competent place in town. They work hard to ensure the job is done right the first time and promptly take care of any issues. They call back when they say they will and are honest with their assessments. I love that they have techs who actually know how to fix the actual problem other than just going by what the computer says is wrong. We dont trust anyone else with our cars.

Their integrity is above any business I’ve ever encountered! They first replaced a wheel bearing assembly in 2017 on my Infinity FX35. I was surprised the bearing failed 2 yrs later in 2019 after only 23,000 miles. The shop owner Mark evidently shared in my disappointment and repaired it free of charge, refusing to even allow me to pay for parts or labor which I know won’t be fully recovered from the component manufacturer. They’re the only business I’ve ever allowed to touch my classic corvette, and now the only ones allowed to work on our new vehicles. I’ve found them to always be significantly less expensive than the dealerships we’ve visited with the same high quality of workmanship. ps.. I’ve never written a review before, wasn’t asked to write this one, but felt compelled to spread the word about Hunt & Knight.

Ive been taking my truck to Hunt & Knight for a couple of years now. I have had nothing but top notch service from everyone there every time. I would not take my vehicle anywhere else. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!

So I took my VOLTWAGON to get the exhaust fixed, it sat there for ever, When i went to pick it up, they left my windows open lights on battery was dead, they had to charge it. They made me pay more then what they asked at first. When I took the car home they battery died again, had to get new battery for my car. Had to wipe and clean Dirty finger prints from inside and outside of my car that they put on. WORST THING IS my exhaust and muffler fall of of my car on the road 3 weeks later! Please don’t waste your time and money here!

I would never take a car to them again. They kept my car for 2 weeks an try to tell me they was working on it .well I went out there an they left my corvette outside to get dirty an told me needed a transmission it did not.i got it fix for 200 dollars an they wanted 3 thousand .then they said they change the fluid out they did not. Please do not trust these people Adam will lie an mark .pluss they scratch my car. They are out to take ur money. Trust me if u need help getting ur car fix these people are not the ones. I dont no how they have been there so long.bad business thats all I got to say.

Great staff! They do awesome work

Got my 78 corvette back with wrong size and loose bolts in rear spring, canter of right rear way off,empty rear brake reservoir, l dont know about the rebuilt differential, trailing arms yet. Same time had a new motor put in my 2008 ranger. Vacuum hose melted against motor, antifreeze leaking from somewhere, traded ranger in before I found anything else. Two vehicles worked on at same time . Had problems with both. Hope this helps.
