First of allow, they have a check everything before you buy a used vehicle for around $200. IMHO this is a must so they can discover what expenses will come up as you buy a used vehicle.Ok on to my experience.First time visitor and I was skeptical. (So many 5 star reviews!?)The service and attention over the phone plus the quote and estimate system is very clear and detailed.I knew my car had a major problem as it had no drive power, as expected many things were discovered. It ended up being quite some total ( I agreed to it) and I am sure it was less expensive than dealership and more thorough than other repair places. By mere volume of German cars being serviced here, you can get an idea the expertise they have.The place from outside looks small, but it massive and with an amazingly comfortable waiting area.Brad was my main contact and he was as detailed and helpful as he could be. I did get a light as I was leaving but it was a loose cable that they immediately fixed.The car feels and drives much better now. I will not hesitate to make Germantech my go to service and repair first contact. I cannot be more grateful! Looking forward to keeping my car in good shape with Germantech!

My Mini needed a bit of TLC so I took it to GermanTech on the advice of folks on a local Mini club FB page. Their service advisor was very professional and answered every question to my complete satisfaction. They finished all of the work in one day and provided me with information on where to obtain the specific brand of oil they used. When I picked up my car I discovered that theyd even given me a matchbox car that matched my Mini as a little thank you; how cool is that? The guys at GermanTech were very courteous and professional. I took my wife’s 2015 BMW 320 in for routine brake service, oil change and tire rotation. They had the car out of there within 1.5 hours. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. In addition to the routine service, they did a general inspection and gave their recommendations about future service without being pushy or using scare tactics. I will definitely be bringing the car to them again.

I recently bought a 2001 BMW M Roadster with no maintenance records. Germantech performed an inspection and gave recommendations for what repairs and services should be performed. They use a cool texted link that allows you to read all the various recommendations and approve/decline. I was also able to speak to the technician several times about their recommendations. They seem experienced with BMW M engines and replaced my S54 engine’s rod bearings without issue. I will be back for any future work.

GermanTech MotorWorks did a great job with my 2011 BMW M3. New brakes and rotors. They also installed a carbon fiber front lip on my car. It wasnt an easy job, they had to be creative with the install to get the perfect fit, it looks awesome! And last but certainly not least, they fix a rubbing issue I was having with my front spacers. Big shout out to the owners Jeff Byrn and John Kephart. Great guys that really care about your car, and are perfectionist when it comes to their work.

These guys were awesome. Mercedes Benz of Louisville would not accept my warranty because it was a Ford Premium warranty (I bought my Eclass used at Tricounty Ford). I called GermanTech and they took care of everything no questions asked. They also sent me to tirerack.com for my tires which I got a great deal on. Tirerack did send one tire that had an issue but they caught it right away and had another one overnighted. Very trustworthy people here. They’ve earned a customer for life.

Damage to the wind deflector/moonroof due to my own fault. Talked to local Audi dealer regarding this and was quoted over $2200 for repair. Germantech got this done quickly and at 1/4 the price. Had previously used them to install my new OEM transmission replacement, which they did an excellent job on, coming in under 2k less than my local Mercedes-Benz dealership (James Motor Company) quoted me. New springs/control arm bushing installation wasnt quite as smooth. Paid a little more than expected on labor (my fault for not getting a quote or estimate up front), work was sufficient though. Biggest issue was getting billed the wrong customers invoice multiple times and not hearing from anyone in days due to a mix up in contact information in their system. All in all, they do good work, but I think Ill be keeping to my dealership from here out just for peace of mind for my car.

Contacted GT. An scheduled a appointment to tune my Mercedes-Benz drove to the shop an had there techs go over what was going to be done, waited for awhile do to the pandemic going on but after a couple of hours my chariot awaits good as new, just leaving the shop I feel the extra power an torque on the vehicle an i haveant changed the exhaust yet i drove all the way back to Cincinnati, an i noticed my gas mileage got 7 more miles to the gallon wow cant wait to change exhaust tomorrow an really see what it can do thanks guys highly recommend these folks for your tunes an repairs..

I knew I had officially entered the world of serious car enthusiasts the day I stepped into the lot of German Tech. I brought in my M Roadster which had just suffered engine failure due to a little nut that had backed itself out of the oil pump denying oil to the engine and causing it to seize. A BMW design flaw. Imagine. What really stung is the fact that Id just purchased the car from a guy in Lexington only two months before that. Found it on Facebook Marketplace. Replete with Dinan aftermarket upgrades and a custom matte black with metallic paint job, I surrendered this hot jobby to the guys at German Tech and as their reputations suggest, they rebuilt its young engine to perfection. Saved my life, I swear to God.If youre serious about your car, or if your car needs serious work, this is the place to go. Seriously. These techs are fluent in their field and it was a privilege to have them perform the work on my roadster.

I needed my front brakes replaced and because of the good reviews I decided to give German Tech a try. Ive never had a brake job on any vehicle done this good. I had severe vibration and all that was corrected with the brake job. I also had a loose front head light and they fixed it for me. They are very professional and the price was fair.
