Had a breve cap. Very nice indeed. Nice place to enjoy a quick coffee.Beautiful Kiosk/SpaceI was able to bring in my bike into the lobby to have a coffee. Just be nice and polite when you do it.Another hidden spot to grab a doughnut and coffee.Second Visit! They are on point. The quality is great. The coffee is great!Love this place better than some of the nearby shops.
I was in town from Seattle and stopped in on a weekend, but they were closed. However, they were in the middle of a training session and kindly made my wife and I drinks, even though they could have sent us away. The staff was very kind and willing to help us. The owner was present, and was also very accommodating and did not act bothered by us. He sold me a book that was from his marketing materials, which was technically wasnt for sale. On top of our pleasant interaction, the coffee was excellent. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a cup of coffee and enjoy the Art Deco interior of the Cal Edison Building. I wish we had such nice and helpful people in Seattle. Thanks!
Very very good service. I felt welcomed immediately. I have a delicious cafe latte that was fairly priced. The other drinks I saw looked good too! They have a indoor side room that makes you feel like youre in a garden that would be a relaxing place to study/work.
Since I live in Washington, which is a few degrees below California on the Hipster Scale, I am used to giant coffees in a plastic cup with an actual straw. It was a rude awakening to be in SF for work and see that most places only offer a 16 oz., in a paper cup, with a paper straw. I love the planet I guess, but I REALLY LOVE savoring my latte over a couple of hours and you cant do that with paper products because they dissolve into the drink. That being said their iced New Orleans was pretty freakin tasty and because of that and its small size, I finished it before the paper affected the taste. Woo! I ended up coming here a few times when I was in town because of the proximity to my job and the fact that my parents used to work in the building. Also the coffee was pretty good.
It was my first time here, and I was impressed with how big it was. This is a good place to get some work done on your laptop or to meet someone to chat. They also have breakfast items and avocado toast and seasonal toast items. I got the avocado toast and really enjoyed it. It is a good sized (larger) piece of toast for a bigger snack.
I came here to do some work for a couple of hours and loved it! I went early in the morning and had no trouble finding a nice quiet seat upstairs; theres lots of tables both inside and outside. Ordered a chai latte with almond milk which was perfect. I didnt try any scones or food but would love to the next time I go.
The young man with dark hair working alone that day made me the most delightful butterscotch latte. It was wonderfully sweet without being too much. Whenever I have this barista, no matter what I order, my drinks are always on point. The pastries are also to die for! (Would recommend the chocolate chip cookies) Originally I was going to give this a 3 but because of the great service, Im keeping my rating at a solid 4.
This place deserves 4 stars. Overall nice experience but there are a few points that made me decide not to give them 5 stars. The seating is not the most comfortable if you intend to go there and sit for a little while chitchatting. The tea menu could also have more options. But as I said, overall it was a nice experience and the staff was nice.
I had first visited their shop in Portland while on a short trip and was told they had a location in DTLA. I was super excited because their mocha was to die for. Unfortunately this location isnt open on weekends and they close early on weekdays. On top of that they tend to have special hours where to close even earlier. It is terribly hard to find parking near this area as well. After many failed attempts to come by I was finally able to pay a visit. I stuck to the mocha since its what made me love them. Its definitely a good cup of mocha but it wasnt as amazing as the one I had in Portland. It made me a little sad but other than that the service was great.Always check Yelp before going in case they have those special hours!
Best coffee around! I drive 15 minutes almost every day to come here because its great. Awesome environment, and nice employees
This was a really great post-hipster coffee shop. The aesthetic was modern and a somewhat inviting yet it had a devil-may-care attitude about it, everything was white. I am an absolute dork for all things blue so I of course enjoyed my medium drink that would be considered a tall at a certain non-blue coffee shop, but nonetheless I will definitely be coming back here.Gave this place three stars because the barista who made my friend her drink was as warm as the iced coffee I ordered and as sweet as the latte my freind got.
Tasty coffee with a small assortment of pastries. I got an iced oat milk latte and it was as tasty as Ive come to expect. I also got a warmed morning bun, which was not too sweet and not too dry. Plus it is in a charming building lobby with interesting architecture to look at as you wait for coffee
Had the best flat white of my life. There were queues for those that wanted to sit. Highly recommended.
Came here today to wait it out while my car was at the mechanic down the street. Cool space, dog-friendly patio, free wi-fi, easy parking in the back, and delicious coffee. All good. Dont love that they charge $1 extra for almond milk and they dont have anything decaf (except a tea). Theres a definite energy to this place, and if youre someone who likes loud music while youre working, this is your spot to plunk down your laptop at one of the big tables and get stuff done. If not, well...youll probably wind up distracting yourself writing Yelp reviews like Im doing right now. :)
Meal was served hot and excellent taste. Server was very friendly and helpful. Great food at a great price!
Enjoyable experience from two visits. Coffee is probably the best in town. This is a great little stop for coffee and a lot of other beverages.
Very good coffee, my americano was spot on. As good many other high end shops around LA and New Orleans.
I was so excited to have what a local described as good coffee close to my hotel. In my 3 day stay I went to this Blue Bottle 4 times and Im not ashamed! I went to New Orleans in February and fell in love with French Truck Coffee and Cafe du Monde so I was excited but skeptical about their New Orleans Style Iced Coffee. I was not let down! It is sooooo good. I live in Southern California but luckily we have a few Blue Bottle locations down here too. So Im excited to try their other offerings. I hear good things about their cold brew. The staff was also extremely friendly. I wish they were open later though and I would have visited even more!
$3 dollar regular coffee + $1 tip = you are handed a paper cup and you have to pour the coffee yourself - if there is coffee or sugar. I love to support small businesses but might have to go to Starbucks now.
The beautiful setting is just the cherry on top with the expertly-created coffee made at Nossa Familia. The staff is always warm and they know what theyre doing. Five stars all day.
We orderedHomemade matcha cakeBrad Pitt iced coffeeBrewed coffeeCortadoGreat service!
It is clean and the staff make sure the tables are cleared regularly. Food are always freshly prepared and made with good quality ingredients.
Solid little coffee stand in one of the most gorgeous lobbies in Los Angeles. Right next to the US Bank tower on Bunker Hill, a block from Pershing Square. Come for the coffee, stay for the gorgeous marble interior.
I love this place always quality food & service. Looking forward to a return trip.
My favorite coffee shop in downtown LA! Heres the breakdown of my favorite items to order:Agora - guarana soda with a shot of espresso. It tastes like a fruity coffee soda which gives you a great buzz! I usually almost always order this drink whenever I visit!Mocha fogo - spicy, lightly sweet, bitter from the dark chocolate, balanced, and the perfect size.Breakfast burrito with bacon - sadly served only on Wednesdays but it is delicious with a fresh cracked egg, cheese, tater tots, and bacon. They also have one with chorizo instead. Served with an excellent cilantro crema and salsa.Mini donuts - sadly served only on Fridays but they are amazing! Fancy flavors made with the best ingredients, with vegan options. The staff here are always so friendly and sweet! I will update once I try more items.
Sometimes I have a craving for some fresh Nossa coffee. This is just as good as a plane flight to Portland to hit up the original.
Just had coffee here, brazilian fairtrade beans, roasted in portland oregon, served in one of the nicest lobbies in DTLA out of a corner stall .Theres a starbucks across the street, but make sure you cross the street if you want better coffee .Go get your Lavender Latte !!
Had the Siete Estrellas coffee black. Delicious. This place has a great vibe. Good baristas and great coffee.
Atmosphere, price, customer service, and coffee 👌🏻
Beautiful building and rich coffee choices. I highly recommend the Mocha Fogo, which reminds me both a mocha and a chai latte. Delicious!
Definetely a Hidden jem ! Its quiet and beautiful lots of places to sit.
To all the coffee lovers out there, do not miss this place. The place is amazing and the staff is friendly.
Donuts and beignets on Fridays. Apparently they have a Nutella beignet...
Simply awesome espresso. Give it a go, you will be happy that you did.
The Best Coffee in DTLA!!!! Love the staff, love the coffee - Mocha Foga! mmm... thanks for having your shop next door!
One of the most beautiful places to drink coffee in DTLA. The coffee is great and the baristas are amazing.
Very cool looking lobby of bunker hill building and good coffee.
Outstanding, Best coffee experience in DTLA
