Coffee (kaw*fee) (noun), a liquid that smells like a fresh ground heaven. Today is a new day for a new coffee shop review. Lets begin! Andante Coffee Roaster is a small coffee shop tucked in the corner of Mohawk St. and Sunset blvd in Echo Park neighborhood. They have two other locations one in DTLA and in K-Town. I came here on a cloudy, cool Thursday morning. Indoor vibe/atmosphere was chill and relaxing and inviting. Interior design and layout was well conceived and plenty of natural light. I was warmly greeted by the barista. I perused their non extensive coffee list (clip board) and decided to get a Cortado. Not too many folks know what it is. Well let me illuminate you for a bit.A cortado is a popular smaller-sized hot coffee beverage that contains espresso and warm milk. The balance between the espresso and milk is 1:1, (about half espresso, half milk). This amount of milk primarily serves to reduce the acidity of the espresso. Its also important to note that the warm milk in the cortado is steamed, but it doesnt have as much froth or milk foam as other Italian coffee beverages.------------Keep in mind that due to its permanently set smaller size, altering or customizing the size of the drink is often a non-negotiable factor. Anyway, I had the pleasure to start my day with a Cortado. They have a few selected pastries for you to enjoy. Prices were competitive for the hipster neighborhood. Their service was fast and on point. Street parking only and it can be very limited and tricky given its location. Overall, my experience was met with a decorous conduct and satisfaction. Thus, I recommend this coffee shop.

It was our first time to experience the place but I could say that the place was very wonderful. If small floor space is full, you could ask the staff to go upstairs because its a great way to rest from people who are busy talking and there, you could enjoy the view. I have visited this coffee shop so many times! It’s a great study spot! I love the atmosphere and there are an infinite amount of outlets! I think it’s korean owned? I see different workers almost every time and they are all very handsome, pretty, and charming! The Spring Tonic is also DELICIOUS! You can tell they really care about the quality of their coffee ^^😊

This was one of the best coffee shops Ive been to & I am from So.Cal would definitely come again if I was in the area. I got the birthday cake latte & they even wrote my name as latte art. It was busy but not packed and our food and drinks were out pretty fast.

First thing is that parking is kind of a pain, but there are some metered parking in the front - been a while since Ive come out this waylike with most other coffee shops, they have made the adjustments for quick pick up with covid measures in place. the barista was masked and attentive and there were plenty of hand sanitizer stations throughout.menu is a bit hard to spot, but I came mostly to pick up some beans, which were roasted just a day or two priorthey have a free drink that came with the purchase of the beans which is always nice and the drink was great especially after not going out a whole lot since the pandemic startedthe Ethiopia roast I picked up has good flavor and is well balanced

Great location in the well entrenched hip millennial Echo Park on Sunset. Pour over Guatemalan was rich and had lots of flavor ($4.25 eeek$) The sticker shock on today’s gen3 coffee houses is getting ridiculous imho. Free WiFi, small but ample indoor seating and a small out door bench. Normal mix of white millennials and their dogs as expected. I’m not saying anything is wrong with that... I’ve watched the Echo Park area gentrify since the financial crisis of 2008. It’s now in full bloom. Enjoy! Service was great, gracious and speedy for everyone I saw e coffee is really good. I’ll be back.I was going to leave and started to talk to Brandon (mgr of a few locations) incredibly knowledgeable about the entire LA coffee scene. He poured me a cup of their Colombian roast. Highly recommended. They roast their own beans in the Beverly location. Single origin and well roasted without bitter or burned taste. +1/2 star back for this service and attention to detail. 4.5 ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

The coffee here is soooo delicious! Ive had the dirty horchata barista latte and the Latino latte. Both are amazing. Also, the staff is friendly and the WiFi is relatively fast. 👍🏼🙂

You’ll have to stand in line for 10 minutes while the only person working makes an infinite amount of drinks for two people not wearing masks properly. I left when it was clear I would not be walking out of there with coffee unless I was willing to wait another half an hour more.

Impressive! Thats the word that comes to mind when I think of Andante Coffee Roasters.Dropped in on a Monday afternoon around 12 and it was packed! Only 1 person working (manning the register, making drinks and cleaning) which makes me even more impressed!Parking is whatever you can find on the streets, which wasnt too bad for me. I only had to walk about a block from my spot. Who cant use more steps?Even though it was crowded, there was still a table or two open to sit!The vibe is very lively, yet subtle enough to be able to study. Id say most of the tables were being used to study, and there were a couple of groups chatting it up.I had a cold brew, which was extremely bold and deep. Ill admit I was glad I ordered a blueberry muffin to balance out the brew with something sweet. I do love my coffee bold, so I was in heaven with this cold brew! The blueberry muffin was good too!The prices were better than coffee shops in the area. Id definitely camp here if I was wanting to save a buck or two.I definitely plan on stopping in again to try some other drinks and maybe buy some beans! Love this cool shop!

Great location with super coffee and an even better ambiance. The environment was perfect for a date, and the prices werent too bad for the area. I tried the lavender latte and really enjoyed it. I would recommend it as a great spot for working, chatting, or even just swinging by to pick up some coffee. I especially appreciated that they had a few copies of the seasonal Amoeba magazine thing we could look over while enjoying our drinks.

I frequent this cafe. Im not vegan. Its delish and the people are really talkative and friendly. The baked goods look so beautiful I want every one of them. My favorite thing by far is their iced coffee. Its some of the best iced coffee Ive had in town or ever. Check it out, vegan or not vegan, they dont care! It seems all are welcome to enjoy.

I love coming here every Friday for waffles and an almond milk cap. They have a great variety of goodies and its almost guilt free since it is all vegan. Also, there is always a sweet pup out front to say hello to. It might be my favorite place on Piedmont.Andante Coffee Roasters.

Great coffee. Baristas are very talented and friendly. The food options are limited but what they have is really good. I got the Hackberry Doughnut with a freind and a cold brew. Both very good. Doughnut was awesome. some kind of brown suger glaze on top that wasnt too sweet. Cold brew packs a punch but has a mellow buttery caramel finish.

Rating is 100% based on the passion fruit donut. This is a donut I will dream of for all time. A little chewier than your average donut and definitely a little greasy but in the best ways possible. Love this place! The coffee is delicious and I love the way they decorate the top of the coffee. The toast was so good! The service is great, and the place is decorated so well. Whenever I return to San Francisco, I will be coming back here.

Awesome local coffee spot. Good amount of seating, bright lighting, free WiFi, and good vibes. Their cold brew is good and their iced teas are excellent as well. I recommend the coconut iced tea. Staff is friendly and the line is never long. Parking is not great, as you have to either park on Sunset (metered) or find neighborhood parking, but such is LA. Theyre dog friendly too and have treats at the front!

I went to Home Cafe for the fourth time this morning and I had another wonderful experience! My first time there, I had the cookie monster latte (a Speculoos cookie butter coffee) and it was delicious. Since then, Ive also enjoyed their rainbow, lavender, and nutella lattes. All of their drinks are unique and delicious.

Ive been meaning to come here for the longest time! I woke up early one morning and arrived at about 8:30am! Luckily I snagged a nice seat, because an hour later almost every table was filled.

I finally came in for a cappuccino. As a vegan cafe, there is no milk, so there was the option of soy or almond milk. I was recommended by the barista to try the almond milk, and boy was it yummy.

They did an amazing job getting impossible road tar off the side of my Tesla Model X. Highly recommended, especially if you have a high end car.

This laid-back coffeehouse is a great place to work in the morning if youre looking for a friendly atmosphere with WiFi, outlets, and a super friendly staff. They also make a delicious dirty horchata if youre in the mood for something on the sweeter side.

There is no doubt in my mind this is my go-to place for the best tasting Matcha in Echo Park.The consistency and flavor are great. The location of the spot is superb and I have no problem finding parking. There is only one thing that bugs me about this place - it is their front door.The heaviest and poorly designed. A giant door that leads inwards that occasionally can and has bumped into other. Strange thing to review, but it bothers me a lot and when it is packed or somewhat busy this door gets in the way.Still recommend this place because were reviewing the coffee not the door!

Ordered an iced caramel macchiato and it was filled 1/4th of the way up and the employee wouldn’t fill it the rest of the way up. Wish I could have my money back because that’s unacceptable will never return here ever again.
