Yummy yummy for your tummy! And too much food. Our hotel security, Sofitel, recommended we try Kings Road after arriving before our room was ready. So we trekked down and had one of our best breakfasts ever. The green smoothie was AMAZING and so was the coffee (but you better like it strong)! If you’re in Beverly Hills/LA you MUST go!

This place has been around for 15+ years for a reason, consistent food, simple menu, good service. So much outdoor seating, tons. Can be very busy on weekends, especially for brunch crowd. BLTA, still a crowd favorite. No parking area, street only. Recommended.

Delicious food, at a great location with wonderful service. They can’t poach an egg to save their lives, but everything else was perfect! Try an avocado toast with a side of bacon with iced latte for breakfast and sit at a table on the sidewalk for optimal people watching.

Foodie speaking here! Honestly… mediocre food. Had the any eggs style plate and disappointment. Picture worthy but not taste worthy. The eggs were not well done and very slimy. Turkey bacon was too well done. Potatoes were hard and flavorless. Didn’t even finish. The only thing I’d say I’d like is the 7 grain toast. Pricey for what it is. I don’t mind spending money but when it’s mediocre it makes me feel like I wasted my time and money.Service ok. Very dry and depressing atmosphere!

Kings Road WILL NEVER DISAPPOINT! My family and I go there so much, they know us(by face). We drive a good 8 miles for their cabbage salad. Its pretty vinegary, but we enjoy it (especially my daughter who is body conscious). Their Oatmilk Latte(hot or cold).. YUMMY! (my daughter adds honey (2pks). Im an avid drinker I like mine as is. We enjoy anything we order from KR. Another of our favorite is the goat cheese spinach omelet. I just had their strawberry pancakes, they were nice and warm (as warm as pancakes can be) moist and delicious. Theyve always offered outdoor seating so the change didnt really affect them (theyve added more tables to accommodate) and on a sunny day its a real nice melting pot of customers. Their servers are very nice and attentive. I definitely recommend Kings Road.

First off I’d like to say how exceptional the service & quality of food was. I started becoming vegan recently for personal health reasons nothing more & I knew it would be slightly challenging. Nevertheless, I’m in Los Angeles thinking that it’s nearly the vegan capital of the world & there is nothing vegan on the menu. LolOur server was SO AMAZING! We laughed the entire time trying to figure out something that would work for me & at the end of a “when Harry met Sally’ scene he came up with a custom breakfast burrito that might have very well been the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever eaten.Quality of the veggies, the beans, the avocado, & spinach was so flavorful & excellently prepared. I appreciate the restaurant for hanging in with me & getting me through this experience.It was worth it & makes me want to go back just for this custom burrito. Now I have to hope we remember it! This café has always looked inviting to me, so here I am today. So far my server was nice and efficient. The iced latte is relatively cheap and very well made. I ordered a grilled shrimp salad. The shrimp were grilled to perfection and they were seasoned very well too. The dressing was kind of weak but not bad either. About $25 for a latte and a 5 large shrimp salad. If the dressing were better Id be very happy. The salad did have tons of grilled veggies for veggie lovers. Trouble is I dont like any of the veggies in the salad lol...The music is cool but you can barely hear it, which is fine. Its not the cutest, most chic café, but it still has appeal.

We came to this cafe very first thing in the morning, only a few minutes after their doors were open. We were disappointed to find that breakfast wasnt being served yet (started being served later in the morning). When we asked if they knew of anywhere else to buy food that early the cook asked what we were going to order and said that those items he could cook immediately for us anyway. Such above and beyond service. The coffee was good, but with service like this they would get 5 stars even without good coffee! We were very grateful indeed. Thank you.

Wonderful breakfast/brunch/lunch here. Service is fantastic, I love their carefully curated menu. There is something for everyone here. I had the breakfast quesadilla, stuffed with chicken sausage and perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, delicious. My major knock with them is there are no free refills on any drinks except water.

Here I am, the only black person in the store. With a pre-paid pick up order due to severe social anxiety. I quickly and politely asked for it. The cashier straight up ignored me, THEN waited until the line started to pile up to tell me that I need to now go to the end.Apparently here “pick up” order means wait on line and re-order? Instead of having 1 of the 3 staff members behind the counter literally just hand me my box of eggs. I didn’t even order a drink, yall. My food was packaged and staring right at me.Fun fact: It’s covid. I’m trying to be considerate by not lingering while ppl were actually placing orders but the cashier wanted to try to embarrass me. Got my refund, hope she enjoys the free eggs.

Really good lattes! Ordered them with half and half. I usually go for an Impossible burger which they don’t serve here but the garden burger was actually pretty good! I would order it again. The bun was nice and soft, it tasted great and the flavours were really good. The fries that came with it were great too. My other half did not like her blueberry waffles, said they tasted weird and the restroom wasn’t clean.

No frills cafe w large menu. I had the spicy crispy chicken sandwich. It was pretty big but more sweet then spicy. Also the breading kind of came off the chicken a bit. It didnt stick to the chicken.

Sat inside because outside was so hot. Inside ended up being just as hot. No a/c. We sat next to the thermostat. It read 85 degrees. Inside is drab with zero atmosphere. One star for the service because it was fast and friendly. Another star for the food not being terrible. The Juevos Ranchero were decent. The BLTs bacon was flimsy and not flavorful. The panini tasted like what you get from the supermarket bakery section a couple of days after it was baked. Food is overpriced and experience underwhelming. Wont be back and dont recommend.

I still enjoy going to this coffee shop for my morning coffee, and I occasionally return for another cup. There were always a lot of people at this store. The service was courteous, helpful, and prompt. The ambience was really pleasant, not at all pompous, and there was a sense that you could just relax and watch the world go by. Nothing beats sitting on a comfy couch and observing folks. Theres also free, fast wi-fi.

Sweet egg:Holy wow this is so good! The bread is yellow and nicely toasted. The inside is overwhelmingly filled with delicious creamy egg. The sriracha sauce was mainly on the bottom but that doesnt matter because the egg was still heavenly soft and delicately flavored. I actually liked this with ta-patio even though I usually dont like ta-patio.

You need to come and visit here! The waiters and waitresses they have will still handle you better than the other restaurant in the area. Nice experience, through two trips. The best in town is probably coffee. This is a lovely little stop for coffee and a lot of other drinks.

Service was HORRIBLE..but darn that omelet was good! I would not go back..I dont think my skin shade is their target demographic hence why I believe I was treated so awful. No omelet is worth my self respect.

Looking for a breakfast place near my hotel that opened early. The latte was amazing. Ordered the goat cheese omelette with fresh sourdough bread and wonderful red breakfast potatoes. Lots of regular coming in for coffee. Friendly staff.

No other place I rather be than kings road on a sunday! The best coffee around the valley!They have seriously the best breakfast, coffee and brunch. Staff is awesome as always. It can get really packed but we dont mind waiting a little to get seats as we are regulars here on sundays. Ive tried so many different coffee shops and nothing beats their vanilla latte. You seriously need to get their hot vanilla latte. That first sip will take you to another dimension of reality! :)As far as breakfast, the protein power with side of potatoes is by far my favorite breakfast. Its also a cool spot because sometimes you spot celebrities having coffee there. Tons of eye candy as well usually!

Love this place! Been a regular on and off for 20 years - used to drink their latte from a bowl - even the art dogs and writers lunch here! Steve Martin locked his bike to a pole in 1997 and Uma Thurman sat at the next table in 2009

Seeing others have to wait over 20 minutes just to have their order taken was brutal. The wait line for the takeout section was awful and moved horribly slow. You could literally dine-in at any other restaurant and be done before youre able to pick up your take-out order here.Maybe theyre better on slow days, but clearly the Kings Road Cafe bites off more than it can chew on a daily basis.

I used to come here with my late mom after school while she sourced fabrics next door at International Silk and Woolens shop.This restaurant is no frills yet the food has remained fresh, consistent and delicious.Whether it’s brekafad or lunch, everything I have had here is tasty!

I went here with friends. The indoor seating was ample and comfortable. The coffee was delicious and had a rich taste. I believe it was a specialty blend but I cant remember the exact details. None the less, give Kings road Cafe a try, I will certainly be going back.

Ive been going to Kings Road Cafe for over 25 years. Drink a regular coffee and your life will be better. I promise. Its absolutely beyond the shadow of a doubt the best caffeine high and Los Angeles. Foods great, the newspaper stand around the corner is wonderful, outdoor seating is quaint and L a 40-something hipster, but its the coffee, the coffee, the coffee.

Kings Road Cafe serves the most scrumptious Black Forest Ham and Cheese omelette Ive had in a long time! It is served with a grilled onion, sweet savory sauce that is amazing. Roasted potatoes or fruit, hearty sourdough goodness and the Best cup of Americana java! Makes me happy!. Delightful aromas fill the restaurant, a relaxed intimate space that calls you back every time. Bon appetite!

You guys have to understand that DELIVERIES (postmates/doordash/ubereats...)do not have to take lines. We do not have much time to spend in the same line people are ordering. If you guys wanna keep this way, fine! I’m just letting you know that people are starting talking about cancel the order for this place since we waste too much time, which it doesn’t happen in other places.

Very Dissapointed of this place. I used to love this place.After order, we where sitting for 30min and the staff kicked us out, they say people are waiting. So not even finnishing our food we had to leave the restaurant. Our party would NOT be going back here and we do not recommend it to anyone.

Fabulous coffee in a sit down cafe! Kings Road Cafe has two aspects. We had expected a coffee house type experience, but were pleasantly surprised to find the indoor tables and full breakfast. The food was all delicious, especially the gluten-free French toast.Did I mention that the coffee was fabulous?!? Dark, rich and smooth. An excellent Saturday morning stop.

Oh SNAP! This place has great coffee. This is my go to when Im down in Hollywood. For me its a large coffee and a zucchini muffin. Thats a damn good morning kick-off. Their breakfast is delicious as well. Go try it! Just dont block the cream dispenser while your waiting for your coffee.

Stopped by with friends for breakfast on a relatively busy Saturday morning and was extremely surprised by how short the wait for a table was! We sat inside so it was a little cramped and noisy but that didnt take away from the courteous and prompt manner of the servers or the extensive, delicious sounding menu items.Generous servings, amazing taste and wonderful coffee! It is a little pricey but would highly recommend for a breakfast stop.

The Prosciutto & Mozzarella croissant will have you hooked from the first bite. Coffee is always delicious. If you have the time definitely check out their breakfast menu. My personal go-to is the burrito (and its big enough to share)TIP: Parking in the morning can be tricky. I usually opt to park on Beverly going East Bound across the street.
